Calm Before the Storm OOC Chatter

So is everybody aboard? Are we heading to Coruscant to pick up the rest of the crew or to get the job or to do the job? I wrote a post with Nykei but will hold off on writing Alythra, since I have no idea what she is up to right now.
 
Heading to pick up the rest of the crew, then on to the job. I’ll leave the details up to KC, as it was his idea for the mission.
 
I think the swoop bike mission should involve some revenge for Nykei on the crime boss and/or the racer who clipped her.
 
Exactly my thought. But, with those options in mind, which would be the better target? The boss or the guy they paid to end Nykei’s career?
 
Man, I love the idea of combining profit and revenge. And I say go after the boss. He'll have more to steal/sabotage/copy/etc.
 
I'm still up for collecting Sevastion and Alythra in a scene on planet where she is into some mischief. Just let me know if you want to coordinate, otherwise I'm sure we can work something simple into it. That would be everyone then wouldn't it?

When Alytra is into mischief or Jiljoo is?
 
Jiljoo, sorry I guess that wasn't very well written. Alythra is welcome to be involved in mischief of her own of course.

This could be a good time to show off her ability to get people out of sticky situations.

Maybe test her pacifism as well. I'm hoping Sevastion is on board but I'll leave it so he can opt out. I'd like to see KC respond then once we are back on the surface Jiljoo can go shopping!
 
At this point we are just getting to know each other. Best to keep things moving than strive for perfection right at the get go. I look forward to it, special or not.
 
I’m all for things not being special at the moment. To quote an infamous Sicilian... “Wait till I get going! ... where was I?”
 
Sorry about not posting yet. I managed to get terribly sick on Wednesday, and today is the first day I can manage to think. It may be a day or two before I can manage a coherent post, but I’ll try.

So, having read the thread so far, I’ve been thinking about how to get Sev into the plot. He’s clearly not aboard the ship yet, because we’ve established that there are only two men aboard. So, how about this:

My character is gunning for the same crime lord. He’s the guy that arranged to put the men that mutinied against him aboard his ship, after all, and he feels slighted. So that gives him common cause. But, in the mean time, he’s living the good life in an assumed (that is, stolen) identity on Coruscant as a wealthy banker (who is currently elsewhere). As part of “living the good life”, he’s contracted the services of a certain Zeltron escort...

This is a Star Wars intro, of course, so things go terribly terribly wrong at some point. Like, the ID they is discovered , he credit is locked down, and security moves on him. Details feel fuzzy in my head at this point but should probably involve a running firefight and a speeder chase, and end with Sev aboard ship as it desperately flees Coruscant. Oh, and did I mention that Alythra didn’t get paid as so our Captain doesn’t get aid, because of the credit lock?

Alternately, I can just assume Sev is aboard. Thoughts?

I am down for that. Did you want to write the opening post production shall I?
 
Assuming everyone else is down for it, I figured on making it my first post. Having Sev at the dock with a limo, and so forth.
 
I am going to modify my last since it doesn't really make sense now that everyone has found their way on board.

But we haven't. Sev and Alythra still aren't on yet. Still plenty of mischief for Jiljoo to get into. Maybe she gets swept up into Sev's troubles?
 
TBH, I misread your last post and thought Alythra was already aboard. It doesn’t change too much of my suggestion, mind. Other than Sev wouldn’t be at the dock.
 
Well, I am not sure where we all got confused but seems like we got it figured out? I was hoping we would spend a little time on Coruscant, anyways. I thought Nykei and Larasen (would be he Lars for short?) would head shop together, sifting through droid and ship parts. Would be a chance to flesh out those characters some.
 
I'd be okay with buying parts with Nykei. For a short name, maybe Lar with a long a?
