Distain2003 ~ A kidnapping romance ~ D.E.666

She pulled away from him with a giggle after he kissed her and she took another drink of her smoothie. "Oh yes, I'm very, very picky." she says, rolling her eyes with a grin. Andre liked seeing his daughter act so playfully and in such a freespirit sort of way. He could tell that she was truly happy here with Stephen. He hadn't seen her that happy since before her mother died. Sighing softly, he shook his head slightly while shrugging off his coat and blazer, draping them over the banister so he was standing there in a pair of slacks, his dress shoes, and a button-up shirt. "Oh, I'm staying at the Condesa." he said. Janet arched an eyebrow while moving to sit in the chair. "You're staying in the Condesa and you didn't bring your wife?" she asks, making his chuckle.

He smiled up at him looking at them both eating slowly glad that her father seemed to tolerate him. "I am eager to see our horses again. How long do you think it will take to break mine so he stops trying to bite and kick me?" He laughed softly shaking his head as Kegan started pawing at the door trying to get in. "Kegan take your new friend to your room!" The puppy barked sounding grumpy as he walked away.

She ate her turkey burger slowly, pulling pieces of it off at a time and then eating it. "Hmm, how old are they?" Andre asked. Janet looked up from her food to answer. "They're yearlings daddy. About the same age as Swiftfeets colts." she says. He slowly nods and takes another bite of his burger and swallows before speaking. "It could take a couple of months, depending on the horse of course. Some take rather easily to the tack while others don't." Janet looked over as Kegan scratched at the door, chuckling when she sees Lily just sitting there slightly behind Kegan. In a way the two puppies reminded her of herself and Stephen. "Go on Lily. Go with Kegan." she says and the female puppy gets up and trots along ahead of Kegan.

"I don't plan on racing them I just want something i can ride around and explore my land with. The most racing i would be doing is racing your daughter back to the barn. " He smiled as he watched her intently laughing as kegan tackled lily then sprinted to his room. So young and so playful he wished he had more time to spend with the young dog to play but he had work to do.

"Whether you want to race them or not, they have to be trained to use tack." Andre said and finished off his food. Janet nodded slightly and cleared her throat. "Tack would be the halter, bit, reins and saddle darling." she says softly. "It's what you need to ride the horse. We'll go out later to get things needed for the horses for when they come here." The girl finished her food as well before looking over quickly when she heard Lily's frantic barking as she scurried off after the larger boy puppy. She laughed softly and shook her head in amusement.

"Yea i know about as much about horses as i do thermo nuclear dynamics. " He laughed softly rolling his eyes before laughing softly. "I just know i like them and want a couple. Besides the black one either really liked me or found me interesting. " He laughed softly finishing his food setting his plate down next to him. "I am not going to have to fight you to keep your daughter here am i?"

Janet snickered from behind her hand and she shook her head as she set her plate aside for a moment. "Don't worry, I'll take care of the horses." she says gently. Noticing that they were all done eating, she stood up and gathered the three plates and took them inside. Andre sighed softly and looked over at Stephen. "So far, I see no problem in her staying." was all he said for now.

"Good I would hate to have to steal her from her only parent. " He spoke softly standing up offering his hand to Andre to help him up. "Lets go take a look at those horses. " He smiled leading them out to the car smiling brightly as he got there. "You wanna drive hun?" He smiled looking into her eyes hoping he was not making a mistake.

Andre waved his hand away and he stood up, brushing himself off with a sigh. After grabbing his coat and blazer, he followed them out to the garage. Janet hummed softly as she followed her lover out to the car. "I don't know the way there yet." she says softly. "I don't want to get us lost." While they spoke, Andre moved over to his car and placed his coats into the passenger seat of the car.

"Okay hop in. " He smiled brightly moving over to the drivers side getting in. Once she was in the car he started it up and pulled away slowly waiting for her father to follow. He smiled brightly as he drove his hand resting on her inner thigh as he lead them to the ranch pulling up to the field that housed there horses.

She nodded and opened the passenger side door, slipping into her seat and buckling up. As he pulled away, she closed her eyes and smiles gently, enjoying the feeling of the light breeze on her face as they drove towards the ranch. She glanced in the mirror and saw her father was following and she smiled before looking at Stephen when she felt his hand on her inner thigh. As they pulled up to the ranch, she saw the horses running around and chuckled softly while watching them.

Stephen got out of the car and leaned against the hood smiling watching the horses and her. His eyes spending most their time on her just enjoying the view. "What do you think about them? " He smiled looking at her father smiling with pride.

Janet slowly got out of the car and moved around it before walking over to the white fence, leaning against it to watch the different horses running around after each other. She laid her head down against her arm while watching. While she did that, Andre moved over to where Stephen was standing and he watched his daughter watch the horses, a small smile on his face. "Which ones are yours?" he asked.

Stephen pointed to the black one that was already watching him and moving towards the group. "I am not even in the pen what are you grumpy about now!" He laughed shaking his head then pointed out the horse she had picked that was walking up quickly to the fence to great the neko. " I don't know if he likes me or wants to step on my face either way I think he looks cool." He laughed making a funny face at the horse who then snorted in retort.

Janets soft laughter could be heard after Stephen calls out to the young stallion. When the young mare that she had picked out approached the gate, she reached out and began petting the beautiful mares nose while softly speaking to her. Her father looks at the black horse in curiosity, watching the black animal get close to the fence, its eyes seeming to be stuck on Stephen. "It's hard to tell. Maybe it's both." he says.

"That's what i thought. He though i looked great for him to step on!" He laughed softly walking up to the fence leaning over it looking at the horse. "Get over here and say hello already be both know your going to. Besides this big lug here needs to take a look at you. " He smiled reaching out as the horse approached just outside of reach.

The neko at the fence laughed again at her father and her lovers conversation about the black horse, shaking her head in amusement. "You better be careful Stephen. He might bite." she says with a snicker. Her father moved up to stand between them as he looked at the black horse with a small smile. "He's a high spirited horse." he commented.

"He reminds me of myself not to long ago. I think that is why i like him so much. " He smiled pulling back so the horse could not bite him. His eyes falling to the pair to his right glad that it appeared her father liked him. Even if he was having to lie to him about everything.

The mare gently nudged Janet with her nose and began lipping at her long hair, making the young woman giggle and wrap her arms around the mares neck, peeking out at Stephen with a small smile. Andre moved so he was leaning against the fence as well. "What else do you know about the horses?" he asks both of them and Janet looks over at her father. "Well, they're both of very good bloodlines." she says softly. "The sire of the stallion is actually from our stock."

"I know that her's is much nicer then mine. And that mine has bad aim when it comes to kicking!" He laughed softly knowing nearly nothing about horses that where not in cars. He smiled reaching out petting the horses neck who snorted in protest but did not move away. "And that this young man is all talk no action!"

The mare that Janet was hugging moved away from her and slowly made her way over to the black horse. Stretching her neck out, she gently grasped a lock of his mane before tugging on it before nudging him a little. Janet smiled gently and moved to stand next to Stephen. "Are you sure he is?" she asks with a chuckle, watching as the mare continued to nudge at the stallion.

Stephen smiled and walked over to Janet slipping his arms around her waist holding her close watching the horses. "At least they get along. " He chuckled softly swaying lightly to the song in his head. "Though i think we may have to keep them separated when we get them home. " He laughed softly kissing her cheek closing her eyes a bit tired from the stress of the day.

Janet looks back at him with a small smile and she nods in agreement. "Very true." she murmurs before looking at the horses again. "But why would we have to keep them separated if they're getting along?" She closed her eyes with a chuckle when he kissed her on the cheek. She could tell that he was getting tired and she turned to face him the rest of the way. "I think we should be getting back." she whispered. "And I'm sure my daddy is getting tired as well." From next to them, Andre looked over at them and nodded. "Yes, after my long flight, I should be getting to my hotel." he said.

"Darling if we don't keep the separated we may have more horses then we expected. " He laughed stepping away offering her father his hand. "Pleasure to meet you sir perhaps tomorrow we can talk some more. Though if you just wanted to spend some time with your daughter i would understand. " He smiled helping Janet into the car before going to get in himself rather tired.

Janet blushed a little and chuckled softly with a grin, nodding in agreement. "I suppose you're right." she replied before looking over at her father. Andre turned to Stephen and smiled gently. "It was nice to meet you as well Stephen." he said while shaking his hand. "I'm sure that Janet and I will get together for lunch or something." Janet moved over to her father and hugged him softly with a small smile. "I'll talk to you later daddy." she whispers before getting into the car.
