Distain2003 ~ A kidnapping romance ~ D.E.666

"I love you too Stephen. Every minute we were apart, it hurt so much." she whispers, wrapping her arms around him while kissing him softly. When he kissed her temple then rolled them over, she gasped and looked up at him while removing her arms from around him, smiling up at him. "I suppose we should start getting ready to go pick my father up." she says softly.

"If we don't we may end up having a quickie before we go find get him. " He laughed softly helping her up then leading her up stairs hoping to ignore the hard on that she had caused. Once they where up to his room he began digging threw the drawers looking for nice cloths. Soon finding a button up black dress shirt and a pair of black kackies. Smiling as he stripped down to his boxers his hand shaking a bit glad he was wearing a long sleeve shirt to hide his tattoo.

She laughed as well and stood with his help before following him upstairs to their bedroom. She had noticed the hard on in his pants and didn't say anything about it. Upon entering the bedroom, she moved over to her suitcases which she hadn't unpacked yet and began looking for something nice to wear. The only thing she could find was a knee length black skirt and a pale blue silk camisole much like the one she had worn the other day. Once she pulled out her clothing, she began undressing and she changed into the skirt and top then pulled on a pair of simple black high heels.

He smiled getting dressed looking nice he debated on a tie but decided against it. He felt like a stranger in his own body as he looked in the mirror. "I hate dressing up i hope your father likes me. How does he feel about wrench monkeys? " He smiled looking down at his hands very clearly mechanic hands stained from years of being in grease and oil.

She reached up and slowly removed her collar. She didn't want to but she knew that if her father saw the tag on it, he would have a fit. Sighing softly, she turned to Stephen while holding her necklace. "I can tell you don't like it." she said softly, moving over to him. Reaching out with a hand, she unbuttoned two of the buttons of his shirt so he could be more comfortable. "My father.... I'm not sure how he feels about wrench monkey. But he respects people that do hard work and have money. You do both." she said with a wink and a soft chuckle. She looked down at his hands and placed hers into his hands, smiling when she saw how much her pale skin contrasted from his darker skin. "What should I do about my necklace?" she asked softly.

Stephen smiled and took her by the hand leading her over to the door. Reaching into his pocket pulling out his pocket knife with in a few moments he had undone the middle door hinge folding it away from the door jam. He then used the knife to pop out a small piece of wood revealing a small hiding place he had cut into the door. He smiled reaching in taking out a bank roll of 100 dollar bills then placed her necklace on top of it before returning it. " Anything you want to store i have small hiding places like this around the house. I used them to hide things that are either valuable or dangerous. " He smiled brightly kissing her cheek before sealing her necklace up in the slick.

Janet watched him curiously as he removed part of the middle door hinge and revealed the hiding place. She smiled slightly when she watched him place her necklace inside and she chuckled softly. "That's very creative. I'll have to remember that if I have to hide anything else." she said softly. She giggled softly when he kissed her on the cheek. Once her necklace was all sealed up again, she hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you Stephen." she said softly.

"I wish i could take credit for it I had a former coworker teach me how to make them. " He smiled brightly kissing her cheek leading her down to the car biting his lip nervously."We should take your father to see our horses! Show him your purchase. " He smiled helping her into the car before getting in himself and starting them down the road.

Janet silently walked with him down to the car, her hand softly stroking his arm when she noticed him biting her bottom lip. "I think that daddy would like that. He likes horses a lot. Unlike his brother who wanted to sell the family business because he wanted nothing to do with the horses." she said softly as she got into the car. "Uncle Dan was supposed to inherit the business but when grandpa heard that he just was going to sell it, he handed it down to my father." She reached out and gently grasped Stephen's hand with a small smile.

"Don't tell him that i bought the horse for you just go with my story about it. " He chuckled softly kissing her cheek as he started the car and speed into town to the air port. He continued to chew on his lip glancing at her taking a deep breath." Should i wait outside for you? Go get his bags? I mean... Do you want to warn him about me?"

"And what's going to be your story about the horse? Hmm?" she asked softly as he kisses her cheek. She bit her bottom lip as he asked her what she wanted him to do. "I... I want you to come inside with me." she replied. "And I don't think my father will have more then one bag. He usually doesn't pack more then enough clothing for two, maybe three days." She reached over and squeezed his hand in hers.

"I am going to tell him the truth. " He smiled as he parked the car looking over at her winking. " I wanted to buy a horse but knew little to nothing about them so you helped me choose. And i bought one so you could have one at my house. " He smiled kissing her cheek smiling before slipping from the car heading over to her side helping her out.

She laughed softly and shook her head. "Okay, I'll go along with your story." she said with a chuckle. "And what should we tell him if he asks where we met?" She smiles and watches him exit the car and move around to help her out. She got out with a soft sigh, looking up at the airport as nervousness washed over her.

"Lets just tell him that we met at the airport I was giving a friend a ride and we started talking and hit it off. " He smiled kissing her cheek looking into her eyes he hated lying to her father but he knew he had to do what he had to do. "I hate this you know I wish i could be honest with him but he would have me killed. "

She slowly nodded with a small smile, turning to face him completely and she wrapped her arms around him in a gentle hug. "I hate this as well." she whispers. "I've never really lied to my father before and it hurts to do so." She nuzzles her face against his shoulder and closed her eyes. "But it'll all work out in the end."

He smiled and lead her threw the air port standing where her father would come out. He slipped his hand into hers holding it lightly to still the shaking from the nerves. His arm was bothering him from the tattoo which was not helping him any. He scanned the crowd looking for the man who did not belong. He could almost guess he would still be wearing a suit and have the walk of an important man. He just hoped that the man that he would meet would not be the tough guy he imagined.

Nervously, the neko walked along with him, her eyes scanning the crowds for any sign of her father. She was looking for a man in a business suit with slightly greying dark auburn hair and bright hazel green eyes. She could feel Stephens hand shaking in her own as she held it and she smiled up at him, squeezing his hand comfortingly to let him know that she was there for him. For about ten minutes they stood there waiting before Janet gently tugged on Stephen's hand. "Oh, there he is." she said, pointing into the crowd. As she pointed a tall man could be seen making his way through the crowd. "Daddy!" she called, waving her hand. The man turned and spotted the two, a small smile on his lips as he made his way towards them. Her father was about a foot taller then Stephen and he was well built from raising horses. "Janet." he said as he got closer, his voice deep and slightly husky from years of smoking and the occasional drink.

As he got closer, he also noticed that Stephen and Janet were holding hands and a serious look came to his face. "Who's this?" he asked sternly, looking down at Janet who cleared her throat then spoke. "Well, daddy. This is Stephen. Stephen, this is my father, Andre Bernard du Pont." she said softly.

Stephens hand slipped form hers and extended to the man in front of him. Taking his hand in a firm handshake both had been working with their hands since they where young and hand strong grips when they needed them. "Stephen McCullen sir it is a pleasure to meet you. Your daughter has told me a good deal about you sir. I look forward to getting to know you a bit better. " Stephen seemed to grow more confident his will forcing his nerves to calm in the presence of her father. "Did you rent a car or would you like to ride with us to your hotel room. "

Andre grasped Stephens hand in a firm grip and shook it, his eyes gazing down at Stephen. "McCullen? You wouldn't happen to be related to Roger McCullen would you?" he asked after releasing Stephens hand. Next to them, Janet watched her father and the man she loved greet each other. When Stephen asked about her father renting a car, she looked up at her father, already knowing her fathers answer. "No thanks. I'm renting a car." he said before looking at Janet. "Why don't you go and pick up your puppy darling? I'm sure she's missing you." he said and the girl nodded, hurrying off to pick up her dog. Once his daughter was out of earshot, Andre looked at Stephen. "I don't know who you are, but I want to know where you met her and what your intentions are?" It was clear that Andre was protective of his daughter and that he was suspicious of Stephen.

"I am fairly certain that i am not related to anyone you would know sir. My family is on the other side of the country and no where near your pay grade. " He turned leading him to the car rental place slowly walking next to him. "I was dropping a friend off at the airport when she arrived we spoke we clicked and have been basically inseparable since. She even helped me buy a couple horses i am glad to because i would have hated to buy bad horses. " He smiled as he stood next to her father as he rented a car.

Stopping in front of the car rental desk, Andre took a wallet out of the long jacket that he wore. He softly spoke with the woman working at the desk before turning to look at Stephen, his eyes slowly looking the young man over. "Funny. You say that your family is no where near my pay grade, yet you're able to afford horses. Did you inherit the money to afford such expensive animals?" he asked. "Because it doesn't seem like you earned it. Judging by the darkness of your hands, you work with some kind of vehicle." Just as he spoke, Janet came up and looked up at her father. "Daddy! Don't be so rude!" she said and a moment later soft barking started in the carrier that she held in her hands, a dark pointed nose poking out through the front of the carrier.

"Well your right I do make my living working. But if you know the right people and you work on the right cars there can be a good deal of money in it. Come to the parking lot with me and i will show you how i make my living. We are parked just out front of the air port pull your car around and i will show you. Why don't you show your father where we parked and ill go get my car ready. " He smiled giving her a soft hug taking the carrier from her and turning to walk out back to his car. Once there he put the carrier in the back seat he smiled opening the hood and standing in front of his car.

Janet smiled when he hugged her and she let him take the pet carrier from her and chuckled when her puppy started whining. "Okay. We'll meet you out front." she says softly before going off with her father. About ten minutes later the soft purr of a car could be heard as Andre pulled up behind Stephen's car. He was driving a 1956 Jaguar XK140. After putting it in park, Janet got out and hurried over to where Stephen stood, reaching out and taking one of his hands into hers, squeezing it gently before releasing his hand again. The girl watched as her father moved over to stand near the car. In the back seat of the car, her dog was barking loudly and attacking the sides of the carrier, eager to get out of the carrier.

"These are my horses sir, it is hard work but if your good at it you can make a fine living. " He smiled looking down into the beautiful engine ever part that could be chromed was, every other part was painted to match the car. "You have quality tastes even if they do lean towards fancier European cars. " He smirked looking over at her smiling brightly around a car there was no one who could shake his confidence. He smiled looking at her giving her hand a squeeze. " Let your dog out before it goes made. " He smiled laughing softly glancing at the shaking carrier in the back seat.

Andre looked down into the car, placing his hands into his pockets as he leaned down for a closer look. "Did you do all the work yourself?" he asked before looking back at his rental car when Stephen mentioned his liking for European cars. "I'm sure my daughters told you that I enjoy collecting older cars, since she's told you all about me." Janet looked up at Stephen when he told her to let out her dog and she nodded with a small smile. Opening the door to the car, she slipped inside and opened the gate of the carrier. Slowly, a small black and tan puppy made its way out before pouncing on the neko. At first the puppy looked like some kind of hound but at second glance it was easy to tell that it was a pinscher puppy.
