This wasn’t how she expected their dinner to go. She should not have brought New York up. She knew he wouldn’t want to leave his family. She nodded her head to a compromise.
“It’s okay. As long as the entire list isn’t country music we are good. The DJ will put a mix together of your song. I might make a list and he can compile them both. Who knows. He will figure it out though.” She told him.
“Most grooms do. There is a traditional cake that is white and pretty. The one we will cut into and then there is the grooms cake that groom picks out and designs however he wants.” She told him. “Your cake, your flavor, your design. It’s all you.” She told him.
“Unless you don’t want it. But I don’t see why you wouldn’t want it.”
