Is He A Lover or A Fighter? (Part 3) WF+GF

"You made him not like her..." He told Adri with a raised eyebrow. "I don't like her cause I love you and I'm not allowed to." He chuckled.

Jake looked at Owen. "Did you go in the potty?" Jake relaxed on the couch.

"We can let him be naked at home. I'm not paying for damages here cause he peed all over the hotel room." He tickled Owen's tummy. "We can get big boy underwear too."

"What's the plan love?" He pulled her down to him and kissed her softly. "I missed you. I know it was only a day vut I did miss you."

She nodded her head, “Good answer.” She told Jake.

“He did. He took a little while but he gets a treat.” She told him and grabbed a little bag of m&m’s from the diaper bag for him.

She smiled and kissed him back, “I missed you guys too.” She told Jake. And put Owen in her lap.

“We are going to do the million dollar bra shoot tonight. We have some Christmas commercial filming with voiceover work. Which the last time they did this it got banned so we are excited to see if it gets banned again. It was too sexy.” She laughed.

“Luke, Amy and your parents get here tonight. And my side gets here tomorrow morning. I’ll be at work doing fittings.” She pointed to the table, “Everyone’s key is on the table and labeled. I did not get one for Andrew’s guest. Everyone else has one.” She told him.

She yawned and rubbed Owen’s back. “The hotel will provide cars for their personal traveling. I have a bus coming for the fashion show. And that will fit everyone.”

"You are a bit rude...but it is justified. It's been months...I don't think she's going anywhere anytime soon babe..." He rubbed her leg.

"Good job O! You're getting to be a big boy!" He gave his head a kiss. "Hopefully I bought enough m&ms."

Jake's eyes went wide. "Wait...the bra is worth a million dollars?! Like you'll have a million dollars covering your boobies?! Can I go?!"

"Okay. So we are alone until my family comes tonight. Do we have time to go get food or walk around? Just us? Or what should I be doing now? I feel like we should be doing something. Its weird to just chill." He told her and rubbed jet leg.

"Drew could ask the desk for another key..." He nipped her neck playfully. "See rude..."

“A girl can dream.” She said softly. Drew could get bored and dump her. Or realize she was an opportunist using him to build a name for herself.

“Babe they have been doing this million dollar bra since like the 90’s. You e never heard of it? It’s the biggest thing in he Christmas catalog. I’m not wearing that one. Sadly. Maybe next year. But I do have to and see it. The girl wearing it has to be escorted by security everywhere!”

She nodded her head, “You know what we can do?” She asked him. “We can take a family nap.” She laughed and set Owen down. “Where do you want to go? Just for a walk?” She asked. “I can handle a walk.”

She stood up and went into the bedroom to get a jacket and her purse. Is he walking or do you want him in a stroller?” She asked.

"You can dream. Maybe Nick will talk to him and he will realize its not just us not liking her." He shrugged.

Jake shrugged. "I don't shop for bras babe." He smiled and really wanted to see this expensive bra. "Thats crazy...who buys this bra?"

"We can nap if you want to babe..." He grabbed a jacket for Owen and himself. "Stroller for sure." He grabbed the stroller and handed Adri the jacket for him as he got the stroller ready.

She shrugged her shoulder, “I don’t know. I don’t think they are really for sale. They are just statement pieces for the show. The wow factor.” She smiled.

Adri got Owen in his jacket and zipped it up. And tried to fix his hair and wipe his face but he wasn’t liking that and ran away. She caught him and out his shoes back on and then wiped his face with a wet wipe and let him run to Jake for safety.

She opened the door and let them out before following behind. She put her hand on his arm when they got to the street and happily walked with him. Paparazzi was on the other side of the street following from a reasonable distance and taking pictures. She got a call about half through the walk and answered it.

“Yes, this is her. Oh great. Give me one second.” She looked at Jake, “Our results are in. Can we squeeze in an appointment before we leave for the Castle?” She asked.

"Well that's dumb. Making a million dollar bra that you make no money off of...at least auction it off for charity or something." He laughed.

Jake chuckled when Owen came running. "Hey baby boy. Mommy is a meanie huh? Making you clean your face." He kissed his head and strapped him in his stroller.

He started walking with Adri, he kept an eye on the paparazzi across the road. He glanced at Adri when she got a call but kept walking with her. Owen was talking about who knows what making out only half his words.

"Yeah. We have time. We have two weeks after we get back from New York." He told her. He gave them some time because he wasn't sure how rough he would be after the fight. "It's not something they can give over the phone?"

“They want to go over the results with us.” She told him and scheduled the appointment. She hung up and put her phone away. “Don’t freak out. It’s just a formality. They are going to be like. You guys are so fertile if you were the last to people on the planet you could totally repopulate the world.” She smiled. “They might not use totally but you know what I mean.” She rubbed his back.

She checked her GPS for a little park close by that they could take Owen too. “No parks but there is a museum. If he can’t play he can learn.” She smiled. “It’s culture. Everyone needs culture.”

She guided him toward the museum and put her hand in back pocket. She gave his butt a squeeze and made light conversation with him while they walked. When they got there she opened the door for him and the stroller. It wasn’t a big museum. More of an art gallery. But the paintings were nice by painters new and old. Some notable and some that were amazing because of how old they were.

"I don't know why you think I'd freak out..." He told her. "I know I can have a kid. I know I'm fertile." He pointed to Owen. "It's the condition I'm worried about passing on."

He looked at her when she squeezed his butt and smiled. "Why is it more acceptable for you to do that but if I do it, it's online and on magazines that I'm a perv?" He asked her and wanted an actual answer.

Jake walked around pushing the stroller in the museum or gallery. Owen liked the bright colors but that was about it. It was a little boring for him but he liked a toy in his stroller just fine. After they got through it he smiled at Adri and thanked her for spending time with them. "I'm getting hungry, I'm sure he is too. Should we stop somewhere or do you want to get something at the hotel?"

“He could be a one on a million kid.” She told him. “I’m just saying. Don’t let it get to your head before the fight. We are fine. We are going to make some pretty babies.” She smiled. “A bunch of pretty babies. We are going to need a house as big as buckingham palace for the amount of babies we are going to have.” She laughed. “And you will love every second of it.”

She shrugged her shoulder, “Double standards. And my hand is hidden in your pocket.” She smiled. She gave his butt another squeeze. “Don’t question it.”

She liked walking around the gallery. She liked the older painting and how real they looked. “I want a piece of art to hang in our house. Something old.” She told Jake as they walked through.

“We can find something out here. I’m sure where ever we go we will find something we can eat on the menu.” She told him.

“My grandparents really liked you boo.” She told him. They met over thanksgiving and she was a little nervous as to how they would take to him but they enjoyed him. They couldn’t communicate without someone translating but it was nice.

“Good thing too. I didn’t want to have to break up with you.” She joked. “I bring it up because we are on this side of the world and we should go to Germany. Not now or anything but soon. I want to show you around. It will be fun. And you can’t have a fight scheduled because it will be a cheat week and we are going to eat so well.”

Jake shook his head. "I love you, but we're not having THAT many babies. Sorry it's not happening."

He laughed, "What if it makes me feel uncomfortable? Then I should question it. And it is double standards, it's not fair."

He raised an eyebrow. "You want an old piece of art in our house? That sounds expensive O...Where are we getting it?"

"Good. I'm fine with salad...ugh I can't wait for real food again..." He smiled.

He looked at her and smiled. "Really? They liked me? They really liked me?!" He laughed. "What did they like? The fact I'm so buff? What did they thing about O?" He asked seriously concerned her grandparents wouldn't like that he had a son and wasn't married.

He rolled his eyes. "You couldn't leave me if you tried." He shook his head. "I would love to go to Germany. I would love for you to show me around. How often would you go to Germany?"

“Does it make you uncomfortable?” She asked. If it really did she would stop. She just loved his butt.

She nodded her head, “Yeah probbaly.” She said softly. “But it’s someyhing we would ultimately make money on if we ever sold it.” She told him. “It’s not like a car that depreciates when you drive it off the lot.” She told him.

She smiled, “Yes they liked you. Well my grandmother said, ‘oh Adrianna, er ist sehr gutaussehend.’ And my grandfather said, ‘the boy looks at you like he loves you. I like him.’” She smiled. “They were worried about O. More about his mother and the fact that you got her pregnant and never knew about it. I couldn’t tell them she was a one night stand. They are old school. They wouldn’t have understood.” She told him. “But they understand that the relationship didn’t work and that Owen is ours and they like that you stepped up to the plate with him. They just don’t want me to date one of those athletes that bounces from woman to woman and I told them you aren’t like that.”

She kept looking for somewhere that they could stop in and eat at. “”But Let’s be honest. Everyone loves Owen when they see him. That round have and the huge eyes. He’s just so fricken cute!”

She shrugged her shoulder, “I don’t know. Maybe like once a year. When I was younger my parents would send us all to my grandparents for the summer. It helped the German stick and we are dual citizens so it was easy. And fun learning about our German culture.”

He chuckled and said no like she was crazy. He was only joking and picking on her.

Jake looked down at Owen. "Mommy knows how to buy expensive things. She likes to spend money. Find a wife who doesn't like to spend money buddy."

He looked at her confused. "What did your grandmother say in English Adge..." He nodded as she explained what her grandparents thought of Owen and that situation with him. "I kinda was that guy though...Then you came along...made a real man out of me." He smiled and kissed her cheek. "Now here I am engaged, a one woman man, pushing a stroller."

"He is cuter than I am." He chuckled.

"That's awesome baby. You're dual citizens? I didn't know that. How did your parents meet?" He asked her and looked for a place to get food. "Will you look some place that's got a lot of good reviews to eat? That will be less chances of getting sick."

She laughed, "I am getting you Rosetta Stone." She told him. "That will be your Christmas present! Uh..My grandmother said that you are handsome. My grandfather said you look at me with love in your eyes and he likes you." She translated and smiled at Jake. "Better?"

She nodded her head, "Yes we are. That was something my mother really wanted us to have. Andre was born there but the rest of us were born all over the US." She told him. "My dad was in the Navy. And he was stationed in Germany. He met my mother at a restaurant she worked at and he kept going back to get her to talk to him. Finally, she agreed when my father asked her in German to go out with her and when he got stationed in California he proposed and asked her to come with him." She smiled. "That used to be my bedtime story." She laughed. "I love that story."

She pulled out her phone again and looked for a place that they could eat. "There is a place by the hotel. We can keep walking for about ten minutes or we can catch a cab." She told him. "It's a vegetarian place so don't get your hopes up on a meaty salad." She laughed.

He gave her a dirty look. "Shut up. It's not my fault I don't know German. I didn't have grandparents who lived in Germany and dual citizenship. That's my parents to talk to about that. Not me." He told her. "You grandma thinks I'm handsome?! I like your grandma." He gave her another look. "You told me what your grandpa said in English...Ass..." He whispered to her.

"Your Pop is a charmer. I like it!" He smiled. "It was nice. But why did your mom ignore him? He's a good looking dude for being older." He chuckled. "I will have to tell your mom I heard the story and give your Pop props for being determined and chasing after his girl. I had to chase after you. Damn that's where you got it from...." He looked at Owen. "Your mother kept me at arms length for a long time buddy. I even had to work for a kiss...among other things you're too young to know about."

"I'm fine with walking. Unless you want to get a cab." He groaned. "What? Vegetarian? But...I'm not a rabbit..." He teased. "That's fine." He told her with a smile and kissed her cheek.

She nodded her head, “He was a charmer.” She ageeed. She shrugged her shoulder, “l don’t know. I would assume it’s because she didn’t want to be married to a man in the military. And have to travel every theee years. But she fell in love with my father. They got married and had Drew like ten months later.” She laughed.

She rolled her eyes, “No. I kept you at arm’s length because you were screening every woman with a pulse.” She reminded him softly. “I had to make sure you weee really mine. You didn’t disappoint.” She gave his butt a pat and smiled at him.

They kept walking down the street until she pointed out the small restaurant. They got a table along the wall and set Owen in a high chair so he could eat at the table.

She looked over he menu. “I think Owen and I are going to share the fruit and cheese plate and I’ll have a water with lemon. Can’t eat too much.” She told him.

"Man...they wasted no time getting busy and having kids. Now I know where you get it from." Jake teased.

Jake chuckled. "I'm glad that I didn't disappoint. I was yours and you're mine." He kissed her cheek. "I was faithful. Still am and always will be."

He sat down and looked over the menu. "I'm going to get a salad. Either cob or caesar salad. Which do you suggest?"

He pointed to Owen. "Hey buddy. Maybe we should try to go potty." Jake picked him up and let him give Adri a kiss. "Order whichever salad and water for me? Some fruit too?" After Jake took him to the bathroom he came back. "You get a treat but have to eat first."

"Thanks for spending some time with your boys babe. I know it's crazy these few days. It means a lot you made some time." He held her hand.

She laughed, “Yeah and then they kept spitting them out. I was an accident. After me they didn’t have any more. Mom was glad she finally got a girl. Which is why I already know our first will be a boy. I want a girl too bad.” She laughed.

“I’d say Caesar.” She told him. “But if you really want the protein from the toppings you should eat the Cobb.” She added. “Cobb. Do the Cobb.”

She nodded her head, “Have fine with that.” She told him and agreed to ordering their food. By the time they got back their food orders were in and their drinks were on the table. “I’m glad I got to spend time with your guys before the real craziness.” She smiled.

“Are you excited to see me walk?” She asked. “Flaunting my stuff in some skimpy undies?”

"Yeah...how's that feel knowing your parents got it on a lot?" He teased with a smile. "Does it wig you out? It's not up to you...we've been through this."

He shook his head. "Such a chick even ordering food." He teased. "Get me a good dressing. Something with a spice."

Owen started to get a bit fussy as they waited for their food. His teeth were hurting him.

"I always love seeing you walk. But you always look so angry. Stone face." He smiled. "You're damn good at it though babe. I'm super proud." He took a drink. "Excited to be back here where we got engaged?"

“Ew. Don’t be late or that.” She told him. “You’re gross.” She grimaced. “You’re the one that’s like two second away from hangry. So don’t even. I was helping you out. Pick your own dressing.”

Adri lookednin the diaper bag for a snack for him. She gave him a piece of apple to bite on while they waited for their food. “My poor boy.” She sighed. “Maybe we can get some other meds to help out too?”

She laughed, “I have to be. I don’t have to be as serious with this walk. I’ll laugh and smiled and I might blow you a kiss if I know where you are in the crowd. This one is more fun and playful than the other shows I have been a part of. I think you’ll like it.”

She nodded her head, “O am and I wish I could talk you on a helicopter ride around the city but I just don’t have the time.” She pouted. “We should go back to that restaurant though. That was beautiful.”

Jake gave her a look. "I can't help it. I've been eating light and you know food on the plane isn't much...Don't be a jerk...Or I will beat you."

"What do we need to get?" He asked confused. "I can give him more pain reliever too any time. I don't want to just drug him up but I don't want him in pain either."

He smiled, "I'm hoping to get as close to the stage as I can. You'll find us. We are a big crowd that's going to be hard to miss. I'm sure your brothers will be being loud." He smiled.

"I know I wish we could too. That was my intent when I asked if we had any time together. I thought it would be nice. You let me know when and we will go. It was beautiful and romantic." He smiled and took a drink.

She raised her eyebrows, “Wow! Wow.” She laughed. “Don’t get mad at me because I know you’re abiut to hangry.” She stuck her tongue out at him and rubbed the back of his hand. “I still love you Boo.” She teased.

“Orajel for kids. Something to numb his gums. It’s just going to get worst until those teeth poke through. Might as well get him something that will relieve the pain and not drug him up entirely.”

“You don’t want to be that close Boo. There will be television cameras and other cameras. They will block the view if you are too close. You will be somewhere where you can see everything. I made sure of that. I just don’t know if I will be able to see you.”

He narrowed his eyes at her. "You don't know me. Don't act like you do." He teased and joked.

"Ohh. Don't we have some?" He looked in his diaper bag. "Do they have any here? That we can buy some?" Jake couldn't find any in his bag. "Has your mom left yet? We could have her grab some." He offered.

He pouted. "Fine..." He sighed. "I'll just get my binoculars out since I'll be in the nosebleed section." Jake teased as the food came out. He thanked the waitress. "When you get to New York if you want to eat real food I won't be mad."

"We can get some at the convenience store." She told him. "It's okay. We aren't in some third world country. They have Orajel here." She teased. "It doesn't help that his body is seven hours in the future and his mind is on Vegas time." She pouted t Owen and rubbed his cheeks.

She rolled her eyes, "You're such a drama queen. You won't need binoculars but if you want to be in the nosebleeds by yourself I can always make that happen." She smiled.

"Oh trust me I will kill for some real food when we get to New York. I want a street dog. I want to just leave the hotel walk to the first hot dog cart and eat a hot dog or two or five." She told him. "But I won't. We will break our diets together with Chipotle. It will be amazing. I will just have a burrito." She smiled. "But you owe me a hotdog with everything on it."

She paused and a devilish smirk crossed her lips. "Do you think they make the elephant but like a hotdog version?" She giggled. "I have got to look into that!"

"I didn't know what they have here. Things are different. It is a different country. Don't be insulting." He narrowed his eyes at her. "Well let's get some before we go back. No reason to keep him in pain if we can get him some relief." He smiled, "Right buddy?"

"I am not! You are. If I was, who do you think I got it from? You! No no. I'm fine where we are. If you picked them I'm sure they are getting great seats." He told her with a smile.

Jake laughed, "Baby get some. Get it when you get to the hotel. I won't be mad if you want to eat before Chipotle. But it's cute you want to wait. Thank you for doing it with me baby."

He laughed, "Maybe. Look into it babe." He chuckled and shook his head. He gave Owen some of his salad to munch on."
