Office Romances don't work...do they? (Nightstalker x Candi)

She felt her body slowly start to relax as she panted, those sinful lips moving up her body again. He had her in the palm of his hand as he kissed her lips. Him telling her he loved her pretty much sealed it. "I love you too," she said softly, her voice rasping a bit. "Mmm, I don't think I can move," she said with a little smile.

His eyes sparkled and shone a brighter blue as he heard her raspy words, smiling her moved back on the couch before speaking. "Then rest here please. I will organize everything for the night."

Claire smiled and looked up at him with shining eyes. "Okay," she said softly. She let him move her and stayed just where she was, naked on the couch. She'd have to clean it later, but for now, she was happy as she was. "I love you, Chris."

Chris smiled back into her eyes, his own flashing even brighter as he stood up slowly and casually left the room. Walking down the hallway he returned with two towels and a new cover for the lounge, chuckling softly as he spoke. "Such a bad man I know to leave you sore and everything soaked."

She chuckled a little herself, groaning as she sat up, the effort making her realize how sore her abs truly were. Still, it was worth it. "Mmm, well, I'll let you make it up to me."

Chris grinned slyly at her words and helped her up from the couch, changing the covering on it before throwing the towels down over it, his words spoken softly. "Oh I am sure I can and will. Now relax and I will check on our meal."

She nodded and closed her eyes, resting on the couch. "Okay, Chris. I love you." She smiled wrapped one of the towels around herself as he waited. As she waited she started to drift into a light slumber. With a little smile, she waited for him to return, so happy that they were here.

Chris heard her words and smiled widely, a spring in his step as he returned to the kitchen briefly. Whistling he took some food out towards the back leaving Rex outside before returning to serve up their meal. Setting the plates down along with some juice for them both he softly kissed her forehead words whispered. "Hope you have an appetite worked up."

She laughed at his comment and leaned against him. 'It's hard not to with you," she said, kissing his cheek softly. Claire smiled at the food and sat back up, so ready for this meal. "It looks wonderful," she said, picking up her fork.

Chris's face lit up with a combination of a smile and grin at her words, sliding his left arm around her back as he started to eat some of his food. Taking a few sips of his drink he softly brushed lips across her cheek, words whispered. "Love you so much."

"I love you too," she said softly. And with that, she started to eat the wonderful meal he'd made for them. "Mmm, delicious," she said with a little smile. "You have certainly outdone yourself."

Chris smiled and ate quietly, occasionally taking a sip of his drink before finishing both and standing up slowly from the lounge. Entering the kitchen he washed and dried the plates and his glass placing them back neatly on the shelf.

Claire finished eating shortly after him and managed to find the strength to get up and take her dishes to the kitchen as well, the towel staying around her.

Turning in the kitchen as he poured a small glass of orange juice for himself, downing it then washing the glass up he smiled and scooped her up into his arms. His lips softly kissed hers then forehead as he carried down the long carpeted hallway to the bedroom, entering before lowering his body to place her into bed. His words softly spoken. "This is where you shall stay and rest."

She smiled as he scooped her up into his arms and kissed her softly, then carried her to their bedroom. As he set her down, she held a little tighter to him. "Alright, I'll stay here." She looked up at him and watched him carefully. "But what about you?"

She nodded and smiled softly. "I love you, Chris," she said with a little kiss, closing her eyes. "Hurry back, okay?" She smiled and then started to drift off, her long day and the sex having gotten to her.

Chris made sure the house was fully locked up and all gates secured as he left Rex with some extra food. His eyes took in the kitchen as he stood in it, drinking some juice before washing the glass and heading to the bedroom. Stripping down he slid under the covers, his eyes closing as he continued to think on the wedding. He could not wait for that day to get there.

Claire nuzzled against him as she slept, her body drawn to his warmth. She dreamt of him and their new life together. It would be so happy, so balanced. So much better than before. They were dancing in her dream. Dancing at their wedding. What a beautiful picture it was...

Chris moved only slightly in his sleep feeling and breathing in her presence close to him, turning slightly his left hand loosely rested on her hip as he fell into a deeper sleep. His own visions were of the wedding night with the extras he had been planning.

Early that morning, Claire woke again, sitting up in bed as she saw the sun. With a yawn and a good stretch, she slowly got out of bed, remembering that she was still naked, but for the towel that had fallen off of her. She picked it up and took it to the shower with her as she started to get ready for the day.

Chris heard and felt her body move from the bed, blurry blue eyes watching her leave for the bathroom. Easing his body up to a sitting position first he yawned a few times before stretching his long muscular arms above his head. Cracking his spine a little he left the bed, putting on his robe and walked down the long stretch of floorboards to the kitchen, coffee freshly brewing soon after as he began to squeeze the oranges out.

Claire came out from the shower not long after, smelling lovely and dressed in a purple and blue sundress. She kissed his cheek as she came into the kitchen. "Mmm, good morning my love."

Chris smiled softly, the quick kiss to his cheekbone area drew a soft moan to escape his lips as he drained the pips out of the orange pulp to just the juice. Setting the juice and coffee down in the middle of the table he turned the stove off, taking the pancakes off the heat and serving them. "Hope these are tasty, haven't tried making them in ages."

She smiled. "Well they look wonderful." While she was near the fridge, she grabbed the butter and syrup, bringing them to the table with her. "So, what's on your agenda today, Chris?" she asked, sitting at the table.
