Office Romances don't work...do they? (Nightstalker x Candi)

Chris ate almost all of his salad mix before sliding the table back and taking out his wallet. Leaving extra for a generous tip he smiled into her eyes and spoke. "Ready to walk back to the hotel"

"Mm, yes. Thank you for dinner, Chris." She smiled and then got up, and slid out of her side of the booth, holding out her hand to him.

Chris smiled at her words, linking his arm with hers and softly kissing her cheek and the corner of her mouth. His words whispered as he guided them out of the dinner. "Claire my pleasure."

She walked back with him, staying close to him and holding his arm. "So, what now?" she asked, when they came back to the hotel.

Chris smiled as they entered the hotel, her arm linked with his as he leaned closer and softly kissed her cheek. His words spoken softly. "We could enjoy the bar and music for awhile, perhaps dance too unless you wish to do something else."

"Are you kidding me? I'd love to dance. I haven't been out for that in years," she said with a bright smile. "And we can do all of those things. They sound like a lot of fun," she said, glad to be with such a gentleman...and such a deviant at the same time. She kissed his cheek in return and walked with him to the area of the lobby that had a nice sized bar.

Chris heard the excitement in her voice, walking with her to the large lobby area. Guiding them towards the bar area he pulled up a stool for her and stood near her. Ordering something light he began to take in the ambience offered.

The bar was a nice size and richly decorated, though strategy was in place. There was a small dance floor where people could dance if they so wished to the music that played. At the moment, the music was rather generic elevator jazz. Claire ordered a light drink as well and smiled at him. "Well this is nice," she said when the drink came to her. "Are you excited for tomorrow?" she asked, a smile still on her face.

Chris smiled and took a few sips of his drink, eyes meeting hers. His words coming out slowly as one hand lightly rested on hers. "Yes and a little nervous too. First real trip for me."

"Don't worry. I'll be with you the whole time. Any time you're nervous you can talk to me or just hold my hand if you don't want to talk." She kissed his cheek and hugged him. "I promise, it'll be a lot of fun."

Chris smiled and returned the hug, fingers lightly caressing her spine as he reached for his drink and took a few more sips of it. His words spoken softly. "Thanks baby."

"Any time," she said softly. She smiled and let him go before she grabbed her drink and took another sip. "Excuse me," she said to the bartender. "If I wanted to dance with my date, is the music something that can be changed?"

Chris smiled and took a few more sips of his drink, excusing himself to the bathroom.

The bartender caught her words and motioned for the band to change the tempo slightly.

"Thanks," she said, finishing off her drink and paying for the two of them. She waited patiently for him to come back, still sitting pretty on her bar stool.

"I most certainly am," she said, taking his hand. She walked with him out to the dance floor and smiled as the band played a slow song for them.

Chris smiled and enjoyed her guiding them both out on the dance floor, one hand moving to her waist as the music played. His other took one of her hands as his feet moved slowly to the beat of the music.

She smiled and took his hand, the other on his shoulder. "I don't think I've danced like this since my senior prom." She smiled and swayed with him, moving her feet as well. "It's fun. I like this."

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, smiling. "I love you," she said softly. "I haven't had this much fun in a long time."

Chris smiled as their feet moved around the small dance floor to the music, fingers from one hand moving to her back as his lips softly touched her forehead, words whispered. "Love you more than anything else."

She smiled when he kissed her and just kept dancing with him. It really was amazing how much had been done to further their relationship in only a few months.

Chris smiled as they danced, his head moving some of the hair from her neck softly kissing it, his breath hot on her neck as whispered words flowed. "Claire my beautiful baby, I want to dance naked with you under a moonlit Hawaiin sky."

She blushed as she imagined doing just that, smiling as he kissed her neck. "I suppose we could do that," she whispered. "I can't wait until we're there." She smiled and kissed his neck softly. "We're going to have so much phone."

Chris noticed the reddening of her cheeks, hearing her whispered words he grinned and moaned softly as her lips made that soft contact with his neck. His own words whispered as his body danced closer with hers. "Neither can I."
