Ancient Ways

She gave a nod, smiling. "Asur will be going down for a nap or bed shortly, hes getting fussy, so ill help get him to sleep and maybe take a small nap myself, if i can... ok? And be safe while your gone, ok?" she said, looking at him seriously, leaning up to kiss him quickly
 
Aten looked down at her for a minute "Just what are you worrying about im sure the panthers will understand that were just passing through, I have a decent relationship with them, I need a chat with them anyways." Aten gave a little giggle as they reached Bura's house knocking on the door being polite. "So i'll come back here as soon as I've finished ok?" Aten said give her a quick hug and a kiss.
 
She gave him a smile and a kiss. "Its not the panthers im worried about love..." she said, obviously still a bit untrusting of other humans... Sei opened the door and welcomed Azura in, offering aten in... Azura went straight for the couch and crashed onto it, Asur coming over and crawling up on it to snuggle with her
 
Aten watched as she took her spot on the couch "Ill be back soon don't you worry" Aten made his way into the forest headed south not sure just how close they would be, he would just keep walking this way in hopes of finding them soon.
 
The boy was fairly south, but still within the forest. He was trying to move a rather bulky cart through denser thickets and failing... He sighed and sat on the ground, looking around, just incase the shadow cats came looking for him to eat...
 
Aten finally made his way and found the boy sitting on the ground and gave a little chuckle "Having a little problem are we? I've come from the village to give you a hand." Aten said walking over to the boy "So how long have you been trying to pull this thing?" Aten said grabbing hold of it and giving it a little tug.
 
The boy gave a grateful smile "Ive been trying to get to that village for a day now, and i cant sleep incase the panthers come after me... So im very tired and i cant move this acrt through these trees at all... " he said with a sigh. He was very grateful for the help, so he got up next to Aten and started tugging the cart as well, it making its way easier through the trees...
 
Aten stopped for a minute and place the boy on top of the cart "Ok you sit up there and i'll pull and don't worry about the panthers I can deal with them should they come" Aten resumed his pace tugging the cart having no problem at all it wouldn't be to long til they reached the town.
 
The boy gave a nod and a yawn, and kind of fell over on the cart so he was laying down, fast asleep... The whole trip would take about an hour. The panthers stayed away, but watched of course, and when he finally got to town, the woman was waiting, and the group of them took the cart from him and tugged it fast to the house, as fast as he was moving it, the four of them. She came up to him and smiled thanking him and turned to run back inside with the woemn who were starting to unload the cart.

Back at Buras, Azura was fast asleep, curled up with Asur in her arms, Sei folding laundry next to them, smiling, Bura in the back chopping wood for the fires.
 
Aten made his way around town looking for a place that would be able to plan the house constructions and found the place after 20 minutes and came back out with a map of places still available so he would be able to take Azura around looking later. He made his way back to Buras and headed inside not knowing Bura was out back "Still sleeping I see?" Aten said quietly as to not wake them.
 
Sei smiled and got up from her laundry to go to him "You want her to get up?" she asked, quietly so as not to wake them.. Azura gave a small stretch and snuggled a bit with the child, who gave a happy coo and grabbe dher hair as he slept, neither of them waking at all
 
"No no thats fine let them sleep they could use it, after all wouldn't want them waking up all cranky now would I?" Aten gave a little quiet chuckle "So where's Bura?" Aten asked looking around not seeing him anywhere in site.
 
She directed him to the back yard "Hes cutting wood for us, in the back, while the baby sleeps..." she said, giving a smile, heading back to her laundry. They were still passed out.

Bura was chopping a chuck of wood, in one sweep cleaved it in half and set the halves in the stack, grabbing another and doing to same
 
Aten made his way to the back and quietly snuck up behind Bura before he was about to take a swing at the wood when he grabbed the handle and watched his arms chop with an invisible ax. Aten didn't say anything and waited for him to clue in what had happened.
 
He swung, and when he realized the wood didnt split like usual, he looked behind him "Shoulda known itd be the Phantom of the Sands" he said with a smile, sighing. "So whats new? Azuras in there sleepin.. Cutest little thing, her and Asur... Makes ya wonder whats really in that kids head... and hers too!" he chuckled
 
Aten gave a little chuckle remembering some of the nights she woke up screaming and what not "Im not sure you wanna know whats in her head maybe his but not hers" Aten gave a kinda half hearted smile as he handed Bura back the ax. So hows the life of freedom is it everything you wished it would be?
 
He gave a smile "Its better in the sence that i have my family back, but... man this free life thing is boring! My father before me was a worker, and he died a worker! and here i am, choppin wood! Dunno... its nice to have Sei and Asur with me again, but i also want to go around and see new things, ya know?" he sighed and took the ax back, chopping the wood. "And why would you say we dont want to know whats in her head? It cant be too bad... well i take that back. She not only sees the worst of us all, but also of herself as well.... hm.. ill take your word for it. But i think id be neat to hear what its like for Asur to think... i wanna know how he thinks, so i can catch him before he runs out without his pants again, gods that was embarassing..." he said chuckling, chopping another wood bit
 
"Well I know it must be a little hard on your sex life to I don't know how you control your urges so well, god knows I would have killed Azura by now is she was human, but if you want you could always train me like you were going to that could be some fun" Aten gave him a little smile not wanting to tell him the dangers of being able to hear others thoughts.
 
He chuckled "Youd be surprised what that woman can live through! But i will say that yea, it is hard sometimes, but he safety comes before anything in my eyes, and my heart, and yes, even my loins... So i take it you were a little rough with Azura? Im surprised a small thing like her could take that power, but she seems well enough... Do you plan on having a family with her? Itd be interesting, considering there arent many Daemons left, i hear... becoming very rare... but right, lessons... uh.... well what have you amanged thus far?" he asked, blushing a little, leaning on the ax
 
Aten laughed out hoping that he hadn't woken them up inside "You know I was sure if she was going to be able to take it either but she seemed to like it alot and it only appeared as if she was a little sore the next day, not that we basically didn't sleep through that part of that day. Anyways as for training I think i've learned alot I can run at top speeds that most people cant see and not worry about hitting anything since my eyes adjust to it, strength is ok I just need more stamina in that so I figured transplanting the forest would help with that and my sense of smell is off the charts, that is of course when im awake enough to notice what im putting in my food." Aten gave a little smile quickly remembering that day. "So what do you think I need to learn?" Aten said while leaning on his invisible ax mocking him a little.
 
Bura smiled "Hows your hearing? And your pain tolerance? And are you fast enough to run over water? What about you sense of timing? Direction? Balance? Not everything is in strengths as well. One demon may be able to stop an arrow with his hand without a scratch, but scream, where another demon can get shot, and not flinch. One can hear a pin drop in the desert, while another can hear the moving of the trees. Its all about what the purpose of your training is, rather then the training itself you see?" he said, smiling
 
Aten gave a little chuckle over all the questions "Lets see my hearing is ok in the desert I would need to learn to sort out noises and break them up to understand what they are, and I could run over water but only if I have a small running start first, as for the desert well thats my home land I know when anything goes on there." Aten gave a little smile looking at him so anyways should we leave that girls here and go train for a bit?" Aten said with a devilious smile.
 
He smiled "Yea, the wood can get done faster with two people anyways. Grab your gear and lets get going!" he said grabbing a staff and heading into the forest a bit, out of range of just about everything.
 
Aten laughed and grabbed his invisible ax and threw it over his shoulder and followed Bura into the woods "So why all the way out here? If we train here wouldn't it disturb the panthers?" Aten said looking around
 
He chuckled "if we were disturbing the panthers way out here, more of us would have fallen to them a long time ago... no this place is outside theyre breeding circle, but its still theyre territory. They wont bother us, and if they do you can always talk em out of anything, right? But first off, what kind of hand to hand combat training do you have?" he asked, getting into a very solid stance, meant for power and accuracy
