Regardless, she rushed to the beast followed by Polari. Using the Luma Shot, she shot the little guy to his the Infernizard on the side. Meanwhile, DK continued to cling to the corrupted pocket monster, gripping with one hand while the other constantly slammed down upon its head. These two things seemed to do little damage to it, but certainly kept it annoyed and busy to really attack Diego, who released his Stealth Burst into the air.

When it reached the sprinkler located up above, the Burst manifested and broke the mechanism into pieces, damaging the pipe on its wake. The water, now needing the release once the system activated at the presence of fire, rained down as a big torrent of water; right upon the Infernizard X...

The beast roarer and grunted while the water poured down its body. The flames it had accumulated became smaller, but not fully gone. Either way it seemed to really bother it while Donkey Kong leaped out of the way.

"That should do it!" Rosalina said with confidence.

...And then the water ran out.

"Oooor maybe not..." Polari replied.

The Infernizard roared madly. The water no enough to really damage it, as it still seemed as fire-spewy as before! That is for one minor thing...

Across its body Diego could now see that some the gooey gunk that covered its scales had been washed away, for the most part. Glowy cracks and scars were now visible across its body: One on the left side of its head; One across its stomach; One on its right leg.

Could these be weak points that they could get advantage from?!
 
Diego noticed the water fall on the Infernizard X for a little bit and while it seemed not to do anything, he noticed there were some cracks and scars.

"Guys! We may have gotten an opportunity," Diego shouted as he charging up a powerful attack. While he did so, he pointed at the various cracks and scars over at the Infernizard. In video game logic, that meant massive weak points. Indeed, Diego took a large opportunity to shoot a fully charged blast over in the creatures stomach.

"DK! Try and get the head!" He shouted to Donkey Kong.
 
As the energy blast impacted upon the Infernizard X's stomach, it let out a powerful roar of pain, backing a few steps back. It seemed videogame logic was on Diego's side!

"Ook ook!" DK cried loudly before leaping and grabbing upon the pocket monster's head once more. This time he slammed his fists upon the glowing crack, which quickly was making the Infernizard lose balance and then fall down with its maw slamming on the floor.

Rosalina took the chance and charged a galaxy shaped blast of energy before shooting it at another crack.
 
"It's working! Those cracks on it are weak points," Diego said to them, relieved that he was right. And indeed, he saw Donkey Kong go over and lay those mighty meathooks onto smashing over onto Infernizard. Furthermore, he saw his princess go over and used her powerful capabilities.

All the while Diego was charging up his own powerful charge shot and he fired it at another crack.
 
((So the first DLC fghter got revealed for Smash...that was an unexpected choice for a third-party character XD))

The Inferlizard was moving back more and more with each hit. The combined might of the three heroes and the exploit of its weak spots was clearly doing a number on it. However, it was not like the beast was going without a fight.

Charging some more flames, it then spewed a rain of fireballs upon our heroes. Managing to hit Rosalina and make her drop to the ground, following by a swipe of its claws which pushed DK away off its head.

The Infernizard then attacked with a tail swipe. It was getting desperate, as it seemed to be really getting weaker, but that also means it was getting angrier.

“It’s working! We got it on the ropes,” Diego said before he saw the Infernizard began lashing back with desperation. When it knocked Rosalina to the ground, Diego dove in to rescue his princess and bring her to safety, dodging fireballs.

Though he did get knocked into the wall by the tail.

“We need to keep going, but being careful,” Diego commented as he fired a missile attack over onto the crack of the Infernizard
 
((I don't know much about Persona, but I'm happy for the out-there choice. Can't wait to see him in action))

"Right..." Rosalina said, taking a look at the beast as she got up. "Hm..maybe we should all attack a single area at the same time. That should finish it off!"

The Inferlizard roared while DK regrouped with the two. Diego was given the task to plan their attack...
 
Diego nodded as he was charging an attack. Diego then noted the spot on the tummy. It was a classic spot and it was wide open. However, he also realized he needed to disorient the Infenrizard even more in order to get them the best opening.

"All righty guys. Attack the stomach once I disorient him," Diego said as he finished charging his attack.

He then fired a missile into the Infernizard's face crack to cause it some damage and cause it to go back. Leaving its gut exposed.

"NOW" Diego shouted as he led the charge to attack the creatrue's gut. He fired his attack at close range both for maximum damage and to minimize the chance of Rosaluna and Donkey Kong getting hit.
 
They all attacked in unison. Rosalina & Polari attacked with a fully charged Luma Shot and DK with a fully charged punch. This, alongside Diego's own charged blast impacted upon the stomach of the Infernizard with great might. The beast roared loudly before collapsing down with a softer growl. ITs many eyes closed, apparently KO'd. A light was then enveloped while his body transformed inside of it.

As the flash of light vanished, a loud growl was heard, but one much less freaky and distorted. Charizard stood up from the ground, now back to its normal form. A Charizarite X rolled across the floor before stopping halfway through the arena. The bindings made for the mutated monster no longer fit the fire-type Pokemon, which allowed him to simply shake them off. He looked around, apparently confused.
 
Diego was breathing heavily, panting at the intense fight before seeing the Infernizard X began transforming. He returned back into a normal Charizard. In fact, it was the playable Charizard. He couldn't help but smile at him as he saw him shake off his bindings. Diego approached Charizard, hoping his childhood obsessed with Pokemon would pay off.

“You doin all right?” Diego asked Charizard as he picked up the Charizarite Z. “May you please fly us out of here so we can stop that horrible jerk?” Diego said to Charizard as he offered the Mega Stone to it with a smile.
 
The Charizard appeared upset at his mutation and imprisonment, but appeared to not hold any grudges against Diego & Co. He gave a heartfelt roar, as in relieved to be back to being himself. The Mega Stone seemed of no interest to him, at least as far as it looked. Perhaps it wasn't even his and just was in the vicinity when he came into contact with the strange goop which, by the way, had already vanished into particles of light.

The fire-breathing Pokemon appeared to be in good terms, expanding his wings as it invited Diego and Rosalina to ride on him. The two jumped on while Polari hovered nearby. DK didn't need the aid as he quickly started to climb up following a mighty leap. It was better this way as the big ape'd probably put too much strain on Charizard's flight.

The group emerged from the pit to the awe and cheer of the patrons. "You did it! Well done!..." Said Pauline happily. Daisy cheered after, "Woohoo! You guys are on fire! Way to go!"

The Kremlings who were holding both girls looked at eachother with their best "Oh crap" faces before releasing her and making a run for it. The ones holding Diddy also went to run, freeing the lovable chimp who clapped with his feet in cheer.

A nearby cowardly Klump pulled on the emergency switch and opened the main gate before starting running. "W-where are you going!? Defend your King, you imbeciles!!" Exclaimed K. Rool at his runaway minions from behind his throne, having seen our heroes triumph against such a huge beast. He then gave a quick "yelp!"When he saw Diego, Rosalina and DK now on the ground walking towards him.

Donkey Kong slammed his hands together, ready to beat K. Rool up, but then the cosmic princess stopped him. "DK, I think you should skip this one out. I'm sure Charizard here has some unfinished business to deal with K. Rool here..."

"Chaaaarizard!!" Charizard roared in anger, charging up flames upon his maw before releasing a powerful Fire Blast. King K. Rool tried to make a run for it, but it was too later; The Fire Symbol of flame hit him straight upon his back and sent him flying, even breaking through the roof.

"I'L HAVE MY REVEEEEEEEEENGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The kingly croc was shot into the skies before disappearing as a twinkle.

As they watched him go away, DK turned to our hero to happy congratulate him, giving him a good hand shake and a pat on the back. Of course this being Donkey Kong, Diego was shaken rather heavily by his strength even if well-meaning.

Rosalina couldn't help but giggle. "Thank you. You helped us a lot too, DK. I'm glad you're ok"

The big ape then pulled out a banana and gave it to Diego. "I guess he wants to reward you. In his own special way I suppose" The cosmic princess said followed another chuckle.

That when Diddy leaped in and jumped on his best pal's back, the two dancing in happiness at being reunited once more.

"Everyone is getting their belonging back thanks to your efforts." Pauline said, walking on the scene with Daisy next to her. "You guys really give that guy what he deserved! And everyone is getting their stuff back so mission accomplished. We even got one of those Kremling guys to actually help with re-opening the vault.

"Wait, you did...?" Asked Rosalina.

"Hey there." Klubba made his appearance, hard to not be noticed being a big crocodile man with a huge club and all. "Eh, I was never keen on this whole casino idea anyways. He explained, "Besides, ya guys kicked my boss' tail so there goes my paycheck. No grudges tho, I was barely gettin' any coin from him anyways..."

"So, what are you gonna do now?" Asked Daisy.

"Well the kid there kind of put my mind into perspective. Maybe I should go out and get some education myself! Who knows. I'm sure there's plenty of places that big guy like myself is needed, right?" Klubba said.
 
Diego was happy to see Charizard all better and he helped Rosalina climb onto him while he saw Donkey Kong began climbing up the side of the wall. Before long, they ended up back on the ground, triumphant and Diego was all smiles. They really saved the day and he saw everyone was okay. He smirked when he saw the Kremlings and the rest of them began retreating once they saw the whole jig was up. Diego just smirked watching them run off before he faced King K. Rool.

Before he could go and make good on turning the fat gator into various suitcases and purposes or before letting Donkey Kong beat his insides into soup, hw saw his princess stop them and let Charizard handle the rest. Diego smirked viciously as he saw the Pokemon glare soothingly over at King K. Rool before blasting hi away with well a Fire Blast.

"That's that," Diego said with a smile before he was manhandled err apehandled by the appreciative Donkey Kong. He shook back as well as he could with the great ape. He happily took the banana before giving a bro-fist to DK.

"Well, glad we were able to help the Kongs though I figure someone will get them back home safely along with everyone taking the rest of their stuff here. I wonder what will happen to the casino itself and the rest of the machines," Diego couldn't help but ask in general, but his gut feeling told him Pauline would take care of it. He did not how though. Maybe she'd have it be redecorated and repurposed in New Donk City?

"Education is important. Heck, probably take some of the money or stuff from the casino and use it to go to technical college. Big strong guys like you are always needed in things like landscaping, construction, metal working, stone working or of course serving as guards to deal with malevolent forces. Plus, the money goes in to really help you in the long run, such as when you're too old to work or if you want to start a family, have a reliable way to take care of them," Diego explained to Klubba, hoping more of his advice would help the big guy out.

"Though we should all get going too," Diego said before he smiled "Hey DK! Need your help," he said before he led the small group to where the Grand Star was.

"We also came to get this back," Diego said, ready to get the star back for Rosalina.
 
"Hey thanks, kid. I think I will" Klubba said giving Diego a thumbs up.

"Don't worry. I know some people that cane take all of this and put it to good and lawful use." Explained Pauline. "And don't worry about DK and Diddy. i'll give them a ride back. They are the types to travel a lot after all."

Of course, the big ape proved of big assistance of breaking the Grand Star out of the generator it was previously attached to. As our hero took it to Rosalina, the princess waved her wand and made it disappear into a beam of light, which was launched into the skies; Sent back to the Observatory.

"We helped a lot today. We got the Grand Star, rescued Miss Pauline and Miss Daisy, saved Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong and a lot of folks got their money back. I'm sure that and Kash's debt being erased marks a job well done." Polari stated. the last bit catching Klubba's attention.

"Waaait a minute...Ya guys know Kash!?" The big hulking Kremling exclaimed before laughing, "Oh man, me and him go way back!! If ya two would have told me Kash sent ya, I would have lettin' you in no problem!"

"Whaaaa!?" Exclaimed Rosalina. That mean her entire sneaking around mission and Diego having to explain that whole story to get in was somewhat for nothing?

The cosmic princess let out a defeated sigh. "So I had to wear this embarrassing outfit for nothing? Oh my stars...."

"Aww, relax Rosy" Daisy said in a peppy tone as she gave her a pat on the back. "You couldn't have known that before. Besides, that outfit looks AMAZING on you! You look super hot in it!"

"D-daisy!!" Rosalina exclaimed back, face bright red which only made the brunette princess chuckle.

"Hey I'm just telling the facts here. I think you should keep it!" Daisy replied, followed a grin, "Besides, you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend! See, this is why you should keep in touch with Peach and me more often."

"Besides, he is a total cutie~" She then gave Diego a playful wink and a surprising pat on the rear.

Still blushing, Rosalina looked at diego. "I m-mean...I guess I ...could keep it. If Diego likes it." She muttered, her blush increasing.
 
"That's good to hear," Diego said to Klubba with a big smile before looking relieved at what Pauline said about the casino and the Kongs. And of course, the great ape was more than capable in helping Diego to free the Star and thus further restoring his and Rosalina’s home.

“Well, we didn’t know if you knew Kash or if you were in his good graces,” Diego answered automatically before he realized what was said and he was processing everything. Would’ve made things a lot easier.

Also, he blushed in agreement on what Daisy said in regards to Rosalina lookin attractive. Her lovely curves and outfit and it was just... oh wow. Diego’s blush intensified with Daisy’s comments on him.

“I do,” he muttered back before sighing. “We should all get going and get plenty of rest,” Diego said with a relieved smile before his hand went to hold Rosalina’s hand and squeeze it with a loving smile.
 
"Well, good luck on your stuff. I'm picking my dress and get going." Daisy said.

"You don't need us to get you a lift?" Asked Rosalina.

"Nah, it's fine. I'm heading to a particular place anyways. Don't wanna bother you two." The brunette replied, "I gotta speak with a certain someone about the bad intel I got. I have a piece of my mind to give to her"

She waved and ended with a, "Let's meet again some time, tho. See ya!"

Charizard, however, appeared to stay in place next to them. "Hm, seems Charizard here doesn't really have a place to go." Polari commented. "what do we do, Mama?"

"Hm, I guess we could take him with us...we'd have to ask the Lumas to build him a place to live. "Rosalina replied, "What do you think, Diego?"
 
“Yeah, that sounds like it would be okay!” Diego agreed with a smile as they were all heading back to the Obsevatory. He gave Daisy a good-bye hug as everyone was going their seperate ways. When they were back on board, Diego began heading to his room.

“I’m gonna shower then probably rest. Had one heck of a long and rough day,” Diego said as he felt tired. However, ideas of Rosalina were still in his head and he wondered how Wii was doing.
 
With the choice taken, Charizard roared happily. He seemed glad to be needed, or at least have a place to go. Diego still pocketed the Mega Stone since you never knew if it could come in handy one day. Rosalina smiled and , after giving her own good-bye hug to Daisy, beamed them all back to the Cosmic Observatory.

The cosmic princess stretched a bit now that they were back home and also headed to prep herself to bed. Diego took a nice shower and change into comfier clothes, but the lingering thoughts on some of the lewd aspects of this last adventure continued to linger within him. Before long, he found himself still exiting his room. Not feeling very sleepy just yet.

As he gazed at the Observatory, only a few Lumas remained up while others headed back to their own small pod planetoid, which was bigger on the inside, to sleep. Looking all the way up he noticed something; It seemed the Lumas finally finished repairing the Garden Dome up there, with a teleporter that took all the way over there.

Multiple ideas came on what he could do, as sleeping didn't seem a priority right away. He could feel himself still with energy, if not a bit pent up. What would he do?

> He could go check on Rosalina and spend some time with her after all what happened...
> He could check on Wii Fit Trainer. Probably doing pre-bedtime exercises at the Terrance Dome...
> He could go speak with Kash after the accomplished mission. Let him know the situation with K. Rool has been done with and maybe get a few items...
> He could go take a bath at the Fountain Dome's spring pool to relax...
> Or he could go check up the Garden Dome, as curiosity struck when he could swear he saw soemthing sparkling inside last glance he gave before leaving on his mission.
 
Diego had a good day and he was happy that he was able to accomplish a lot of things and help a lot of people. Plus, they got the star and the Garden was up. Of course, he was still not tired and was wondering what to do for the day. Plus, he wanted to spend more time with Rosalina.

He fell in love with her more by the day. How princess of the stars and wanted to spend more time with her. Sure he could check up on Kash or Wii, but he wanted to be with his girlfriend.

“Hey sweetie, how are you doing?” Diego asked Rosalina as he entered her room.
 
Diego headed to the Bedroom Dome that acted as Rosalina's private room. Moving the curtains at the entrance, he soon walked inside calling for her, but then was frozen at what he had found.
