I had instructions to install with custom partitioning, so that I wouldn't overwrite the /home directory, and would therefore save my bookmarks, passwords, all that stuff.

All well and good... assuming I know how to get to the point where I'm supposed to specify not to overwrite the /home directory. If I can't figure out how to do that, how much good is that little instruction supposed to do me?

I hope it's fixed by Monday, because I have to leave town on some of my holiday visitation! Them having wireless in the house is great, unless I can't connect to it!
 
I want to kill. My insurance is getting jacked up again, they did the same thing last year.

I will not be renewing my coverage.
 
They are immune to laws keeping them from price fixing or abusing the consumer. The whole industry can do that anytime they want so, of course, they do, like a fast food restaurant in an airport. Where else are you gonna go? Hence the current efforts to reform the system.

I hope you find competing coverage that's equivalent, Nihil. Or you could move to Canada! You're already comfy with the weather...

I start Monday at 8am ^.^ I'm so fucking excited!
It's only a four month job (tax season), but it's fucking IT!
 
Well MM, what I can do is switch to the insurance my job provides. It's shit compared to what I have currently; but it's a lot cheaper.

Only downside is that it's pretty much a given that should I need real medical treatment I'll be out a couple thousand before the insurance kicks in.

I may like my co-pay that I have currently; but not for 400.65 quarterly.
