Rai chuckled standing up to put Mason in the pack and play for his nap. "You haven't noticed yet? Those two are tots a couple."

"Yeah. We met all of Rai's family." Peridot said.
 
"Kinda hard to tell since they really don't do much and that's me saying it," Amethyst pointed out before laughing. She was thinking before seeing Rai put the baby in for a nap. "What are you gonna do now?" she asked Rai.

"I meant besides that, like without Rai or I advising you," Steven clarified as they saw they managed to arrive.
 
"I could tell." Rai watched Mason for a bit to be sure he would stay asleep. "It's how Dennis and Sadie look at each other, how Ruby and Sapphire at each, how Steven looks at me, how Mason looks at chocolate chip muffins."

"Rai wasn't there." Lapis explained.
 
Amethyst quietly snickered when Rai mentioned how her nephew gazed at a type of muffins adoringly."Well, if you're sure. Never seen them fuse before though," she quietly noted before she went to Pearl's door.

"Hey P, don't forget that you usually go to have lunch with Diego soon," she quietly reminded her.

"I meant in general. Who else have you talked to town or done while in BEach City?" Steven asked
 
"Maybe they don't like it." Rai suggested. "I know I'm not that fond of fusion, just don't tell Steven I said that."

"Steven wouldn't want you to fuse if you didn't like it." Pearl said.

"It's not that I don't like it, it's that I have hard time not being in 100% control." Rai explained. "When I was younger I had a panic attack and it felt like I wasn't in control of my own movements and that scared me."

"I think pretty much everyone." Lapis stated.

"Probably." Peridot agreed.
 
"And you look like the type to go with the flow though," Amethyst commentd on how Rai did not like being in control. "I guess that means you're the bossy one in the relationship," she obviously joked before facing PEarl. "Say hi to Diego for me when you go to see him," Amethyst said to Pearl.

"Anyone in particular you see often?" Steven asked her as he looked around the garden. "What do you need help with?" he asked.
 
"I will." Pearl said as she left.

"I wouldn't say bossy." Rai stated. "I'd call it taking the lead, and it's not like I don't let Steven take control. I actually prefer he take control."

"The people that work at restaurants, mostly." Lapis said as she got baskets for them to gather the food.
 
"Bye Pearl," Amethyst said with a smile before stopping her and went to her. "Look, I'm sorry if sometimes I go to far with the jokes. But we only do it cause we care and we're all happy for youthat you found someone who cares about you. We like you fo you," she says to Pearl before she goes.

"Yeah, but he's not like that in terms of taking control like that. It's Steven after all. But if you don't like to fuse, just tell him. Or maybe just relax and go with the flow. It's Steven after all," she advised to Rai.

Steven helped Lapis and Peridot with the harvesting. "I heard from Peedee you were spending time in anaylizing TV shows with Ronaldo," Steven commented to Peridot.
 
"I've grown used to your jokes." Pearl said before leaving.

"But he likes to fuse and he's always doing things for me. If I have to be temporarily uncomfortable for Steven to be happy, I'll do it without question." Rai explained.

"That would be Peridot." Lapis said. "I'm not that big into social interaction."
 
"Hope she's not mad or anything," Amethyst said as she turned to Rai while looking a bit bothered. "The whole point of fusion is to be comfortable in being in one with your partner. Perhaps you should work with Steven in dealing with the problems both of you face," Garnet advised Rai.

"Outside of the mailman. You always like to talk to him," Peridot added. "Oh? Is he one of your new friends?" Steven asked her while he was helping.
 
"If it starts bothering me, I'll talk to him but right now I don't feel like it's a big deal." Rai said. "I think part of issue is that fusion just isn't something that I know much about. I mean my health teacher didn't really teach us about it but we spent three weeks learning about STDs and STIs."

"STDs and STIs?" Amethyst looked confused.

"Sexually transmitted diseases and sexually transmitted infections," Rai explained, "and as long as Steven and I are faithful to one another that's something we don't have to worry about."

"He's weird and dramatic." Lapis said. "But it's a good weird."
 
"Well, just be carreful and stuff. I imagine it's gotta suck getting sick from that stuff. Though I'm wondering if Steven's spit could test that, but I don't think you wanna try that," Amethyst joked with a smile. "Just be careful and be mindful," Garnet added to her with a smile.

"I'm glad you're making good friends," Steven told Lapis with a smile as he was going over to finish on some of the other stuff. "I caught Lapis practicing with him in stuff, she was just as dramatic as he was," Peridot said before giggling.
 
"To get an STD or STI you have to have sex with someone who is infected, and to my knowledge neither of us are infected." Rai said. "And as far as being careful, I have an app on my phone that tracks my cycle and tells me when I should avoid sex. I like it coz the way it says it is hilarious. It says 'go get you some' when there's little to no chance of pregnancy, 'no glove no love' for medium chance, and if the chance of pregnancy is high it says 'bitch you gonna get pregnant'."

Lapis blushed, saying, "I got caught up in the moment. Besides you're always saying I need to be more expressive with my emotions."
 
"And I don't think you think you're ready to have a kid," Amethyst said, smiling and even chuckling a bit at the stuff that Rai was talking about her. "I got a text from Steven. He says he will be almost finishing soon. Will you accompany him?" Garent says, referring to him going to help Peedee.

"I'm glad you were all able to make more friends," Steven told them with a smile before chucklin at Lapis' blush at it. "Yeah, be more yourself," Peridot noted as Steven was almost done. "I also heard you say you were gonna be part of a play?" she asked Lapis
 
"Definitely not ready for a kid!" Rai said. "Probably not but it depends on when Mason wakes up. After he wakes up, I'll probably have to change his diaper and if Steven isn't back by then, I'll probably go up."

"Yeah, it's just some stupid play but it should be interesting." Lapis said.

Pearl went into Rai's family's bakery/deli and got a sandwich and green tea before heading over to the bookstore.
 
"Well it does look like Mason may wake up soon," Garnet points out, potentially using her future sight regarding this before Amethyst sighs a bit, worrying now a bit about Pearl. "Hope Pearl is all right," Amethyst notes a bit worried.

"Well, you do sound excited though," Steven noted with a smile. "What is it about?" he asks her.

Diego was organizing the bookstore and he was feeling very happy. However, he ehard the door open and he looked to it. "Hey sweetie," Diego told her with a smile before he looked worried. "What's the matter, sweetie?" he asked
 
"If Pearl isn't okay, Diego will make her feel better." Rai said as she went into the kitchen to make some lunch for her, Mason, and Steven.

Lapis shrugged, "animals I think."

"I found out that Steven and Raiden are intimate, and it made me think about us." Pearl said. "They have the risk of Raiden becoming pregnant but that's something we'll never know."
 
"Do you need any assistance?" Garnet asked Rai as Amethsyt settled down for a nap to help clear her head.

"So you're gonna dressed up as an animal?" Peridot asked her while Steven was wondering what sort of play it could be. "You don't look that excited... or are you just embarassed about being excited openly?" Steven asked her, concerned for Lapis' wellbeing.

"Well, we both agreed it was for the best not to try for a child because you didn't want to vanish, though when we both made it, I didn't expect us to become intimate," Diego said before he went over to embrace her. "I don't want you to feel guilty," he told her with a smile.
 
"I'm just gonna make a couple of sandwiches, and pack some ham for Mason." Rai said pulling everything out. "It's not that difficult, so I got it."

"I'm more nervous than anything." Lapis explained. "I've never done anything like this."

Pearl hugged him back. "I don't want to be the reason you don't become a father," She rested her chin on his shoulder, "but I also don't want to put that kind of guilt onto a child. I know Steven feels like it's his fault that Rose is gone and I can't do that."
 
"You're going to take Mason with you while helping the Frymans?" Garnet asked them as she put a blanket on Amethyst so she could sleep easier.

"I'm sure you'll do fine, Lapis!" Steven said with a big smile before hugging her. He remembered back when she was taller than him by quit a bit and now he was even taller than his dad and able to give big bear hugs to ehr and the rest of the Gems.

"You have done plenty of practice and have optimal chances to succeed," Peridot added.

"Whatever happens, we'll figure it out. One day at a time, okay sweetheart?" Diego told her with a smile before he kissed her.
 
"Yeah, Mason likes to help. My dad got him a toy toolset for his birthday, and he loves to play with it. Surprisingly he's only gotten in trouble once when he hit Sadie with the hammer, since then he hasn't hit anyone. He was not happy about being put in time out." Rai explained as she finished a sandwich and put it in a bag.

Lapis smiled and blushed a bit. "Thanks guys."

Pearl kissed him back and went back to hugging him but didn't say anything. She was honestly considering the possibility of conceiving a child and that scared her.
 
"I imagine Dennis and Sadie will encourage that aptitude for wanting to help people," Garnet comments as she observed Rai prepare lunch for herself, Steven and Rai. "I imagine you will remain his favorite aunt," she noted.

"When is it so we can go see it? Will it be here on the beach or at the new Beach City theatre?" Steven asked her.

"Thanks for bringing me lunch by the way," Diego told her with a smile as he noticed the food. "Is that from Rai's family's diner?" he asked her
 
"Most likely, Dennis is pretty good about setting an example for him even with Mason not even being a year and a half yet." Rai smiled as she made the second sandwich. "Hopefully I will, I've been the one aunt that's spent the most time with him. I even helped Sadie when Dennis had to go back to work and she was nervous about being alone with Mason."

"There isn't a set date yet, and we're trying to reserve the theater." Lapis explained.

"You're welcome." Pearl said before unpacking the bag of food. "I got you a cheeseburger with onion rings."
 
"It will be good practice when you decide to have children of you own with Steven," Garnet told her with a smile as she went over to help Rai put away the stuff. "I'll finish cleaning here. You go and meet up with Steven at the place," she said.

"Well cool! Good luck!" Steven told her with a smile before he went over to the two and hugged them both. "Glad I could help, but now I gotta go to help, Peedee," Steven said before he was running toward it.

"Thanks sweetie. You're the absolute best," Diego told her with a smile. "How else have you been doing?" he asked her with a smile as he led her to the breakroom.
 
Rai blushed a little when Garnet mentioned her having children with Steven. "Okay." She put the food that were in plastic bags in her backpack before going and getting Mason's stroller. She made sure she had enough diapers and such before placing the diaper bag in the carrier under the stroller. "Okay, Mason, time to wake up." She gently picked up a still groggy Mason from the pack and play before changing his diaper and putting him in the stroller. She quickly went to the bathroom to wash her hands.

"Bye, Steven." The two Gems said as they waved.

"Not much else." Pearl said. "We talked to Steven and Raiden about being safe and that's about it."
