The cavern widens out considerably, and as they pass the lip, there is the sound of rumbling waters, as up ahead, the creek is joined by another, and there may be more then one, if the subtle differences are anything to go by. Still, it is still dark, aside from the light from the pod, and there is nothing obvious right away.
Still, from what can be heard, one of the tributaries is likely on your side of the creek or river, which could pose a problem soon enough, given that the creeks swelled by nearly ten feet from one tributary alone!

The cavern opens out, to almost sixty feet wide, the stone a simple grey. The water expands and stretches on as far as the light can reach, and swells in size, as it is fed by three additional waterfalls, making their way down from the height, almost forty feet up. And on the ground, though still somewhat distant, and only close to the water, is a form of soil, small plants already growing within, spouts pushing up.
