League of Heroes........Guardians of Earth (Darkkitten9389 & CrimsonMaster)

Scarlet Cat, along with the others who were still on their feet, knew that they couldn't afford for Armageddon to rise again. He was a beast that only a single being had been able to deal enough damage to take down and right now, both Armageddon and Brute were off their feet. She owed Brute so much for what he had done for her, to protect her and her unborn child. Brute had been willing to help her when she needed it most where Bruce had straight out refused because of Brute. She understood that Bruce hated having Brute inside of him and she understood why he hated changing, but she didn't think that Brute was as bad of a being as Bruce thought he was. As she kept up the rain, even though she couldn't physically see what Raven was doing, she could 'see' him because of her connection with the rain. He was moving over to Armageddon where he placed an energy transformer beneath the behemoths arm and then activated it. She knew what this device did and she was thankful for it as a bright light filled the area and then afterwards the form of Armageddon was gone.

With him gone, Scarlet Cat calmed the weather until the rain was back to where it had begun, falling at a light rainfall through which they could all see easily. With the rain slowed, everyone could finally see and it was revealed to everyone that Raven was there but Armageddon was gone. Seeing this, Scarlet Cat smiled to herself and she looked at her sons who stood near her, the woman able to relax a little before she heard movement on the other side of her and she turned in time to see her father shift and disappear from view. Then, with a strong gust, he attacked the villains, tossing them aside with ease and then focusing upon Apocalypse. He battered at Apocalypse until he was laying on the ground before Malcot shifted to a huge gorilla form and began beating on his enemy. While he attacked, Apocalypse's allied began to recover and they were about to attack Malcot when Raven ordered the heroes to attack.

Hearing Ravens battle cry, Scarlet Cat gave a snarl before lunging forward, shifting into her large tiger form and charging forward. Her massive paws beat at the ground as her powerful body surged forward at her enemies. The muscles of her back legs bunched together before she leapt into the fray, tackling Zorg hard and sinking her claws deep into him as she took Zorg down. Scarlet Cat was a force to be reckoned with in her own way.
 
Apocalypse always let his minions take care of the lesser beings. However, when challenged, Apocalypse was a powerful force to be dealt with. He wasn't weak, nor helpless. This was shown as he blasted Malcot off of him with his eye beams. Apocalypse growled out as he pushed himself up. He turned his attention onto Scarlet Cat, who had jumped on Zorg. The wizard had just turned his back, and was making a move to escape when the large Tiger knocked him down. Clearly, Zorg was at her mercy. The question was. Did Scarlet Cat have any mercy for the man who messed with her mind. Locked away memories, both good and bad of what happened during part of her life. While she was with Anton Rayne. Though Alexandria wouldn't have chose to have a child with Anton. She couldn't deny he gave her a wonderful son. Clearly, in Anton's case. Alexandria's feline side was wrong. Tristan was a fine young man who possessed great powers. The young man was also a magnificent lover to his mother. Both of Alexandria's older sons were great when they fucked her. She loved getting pounded by her male cubs.

Apocalypse glared at Scarlet Cat for a moment. Before she could do anymore damage. He blasted her with his eye beams. Knocking her off of Zorg. Apocalypse then pushed himself up to a standing position. He moved over, placing his right foot on Scarlet Cat's head. He planned on crushing her skull. That would be one injury her body couldn't heal. " I gave you the chance to surrender and kneel at my feet..........Now you......Your friends and family.......Your city and your planet will pay for your actions........Your power though great is nothing compared to mine. " Apocalypse spoke as a smile slowly came over his face. He was ready to crush Alexandria's head, then suddenly a huge black rhinoceros charged in and knocked him off his feet. The beast then took a position to protect Scarlet Cat while she was down. Alexandria would know the scent. Malcot had recovered from the blast and was protecting his daughter from harm. This led to the question. How truly bad was Malcot? He'd done some bad things in the past, but so had Alexandria. At one time. She even worked with the Nazis. Taking their gold and performing mission for them and LEGION. Perhaps Malcot wasn't as bad as some thought he was? He certainly loved his daughter.
 
All of her attention was on Zorg. Scarlet Cat had a very deep seated hatred and anger for the wizard. While she hated him for fucking with her mind and putting her under Anton's control, she hated him even more for stealing all her memories of her eldest child away from her. It was thanks to him, that she had been separated from her son for so long and because of her dormant feelings of loss for her son, the loss that she felt for not just Eric's uncle after his death, but the deep loss she had felt when she miscarried his child had been almost unbearable. So when she tackled the wizard, she went in with her claws completely extended. He had just turned his back and seeing this drove her on to tackle him, a snarl escaping her large form as she sank her claws into his arms. She had no plan to kill Zorg, but that didn't mean she wouldn't make him hurt for the suffering that he'd put her through. The only thing keeping her from actually killing him, was that he was part of the reason she had Tristan in the first place. Alexandria never would of chosen Anton as a mate and she still would never choose him. And in that, her feline side was both wrong and right.

Her feline instincts drove her towards males who would help produce strong, healthy cubs, but also who would be good mates. Anton had helped produce an excellent cub with her, but he would of been a terrible mate towards her and he had proven to be a horrible father towards her cub. When Apocalypse glared at her, Scarlet Cat had just begun to sink her fangs into Zorgs shoulder before he blasted her with his eyebeams. This knocked her off Zorg and she landed hard next to him, the hit having taken her a little by surprise. She then felt a foot pressing upon her head and she heard him beginning to speak and she growled, her tail lashing side to side. Before she could make any move to try to escape, Apocalypse was knocked away from her by a large black rhinoceros which moved to stand over her protectively. She turned her head slightly and looked up at the form standing over her before she slowly rolled over onto her giant paws and carefully slipped out from beneath the rhinoceros, her form brushing against Malcots as she pressed her nose against the underside of his chin in a form of thanks before she looked over at Apocalypse. She looked ready to pounce on him and tear into him as she had been ready to do to Zorg, but worse.
 
In their current forms. Both Alexandria and her father were dangerous and could hurt most anyone they faced. This wasn't the case for Apocalypse. He was a very powerful being. There were races who worshiped him like a God. Mostly because they were conquered by the space villain, and forced to worship him. He was powerful. On the level of power as Thundra & Stargirl. After being knocked away. Apocalypse landed hard on the ground. He rolled over, then pushed himself up. " I will break you both!.......I will crush the life from your bodies! " Apocalypse growled out with anger. Malcot snorted at his enemy. He then made a grumbling sound at his daughter. It was his way of telling her to attack. It was something Alexander would understand. Though they couldn't hurt Apocalypse with claws, fangs and horns. They could weaken him with their attacks. He wasn't invincible after all. Malcot began to move his large body. His huge feet pounding on the ground as he charged forwards. Apocalypse readied himself for the attack, but Scarlet Cat was also moving in. Though her form didn't have the mass her father's form did. Scarlet Cat's form was still packing some weight and plenty of power.

She Demon moved over to help Zorg, who'd been injured by Scarlet Cat. She teleported herself and her wizard master from the battle scene. Nightmare was being kept busy by Raven & Nighthawk. They were two of the few who could face this foe without fear of his mind powers. Their helmets protected them from his ability to control the minds of others. Apocalypse caught Malcot charging in. Grabbing onto his large head. The impact still pushed the villain backwards. The move kept Apocalypse from being ready for Scarlet Cat who was moving quickly towards her enemy. He could see Scarlet Cat charging towards him, but he couldn't let go of Malcot. Apocalypse fired his eye beams at Scarlet Cat. But, a shield thrown by Captain Liberty flew by, deflecting the beams away from Cat. Cap had timed his throw perfectly. The eye beams went back the way they came. Striking Apocalypse in his face. He cried out in pain while falling to the ground. Malcot was free. He shifted his form back into a large gorilla, but waited until his daughter finished her attack.
 
Scarlet Cats body was close to the ground, her belly just barely brushing the ground as she stared at Apocalypse. Soft growls left her as she watched Apocalypse roll over and then push himself up, her ears twitching as he claimed that he would break both shifters and crush the life from their bodies. As he said this, the feline bared her teeth with a snarl while her tail twitched with her anger. She heard her father snort and then he made a grumbling sound and she faintly growled in response before slipping out from beneath his large form. Veering off to the right, Scarlet Cat began to stalk Apocalypse. As she went on the move, so did Malcot as he began to charge their enemy.

Large paws carrying her quickly across the ground, Scarlet Cat watched as her father charged and was caught by Apocalypse, pushing him back a bit while she charged forward. When he looked at her and fired his eyebeams, she began to dodge it, but luckily Cap was looking out for her and he had thrown his shield to protect her. With a soft huff, she continued on, pushing herself faster while baring her teeth while she listened to Apocalpyse cry out in pain when his attack was returned to him and hit him in the face. When she was a couple feet from him, Scarlet Cat's back legs bunched up and then she sprung forward, leaping on top of Apocalypse's form. Her claws were extended and her jaws open as she flew at him. When she landed, her claws sank deep while she sank her teeth deep into his shoulder. While he was powerful, she still wanted to deal as much damage as she could on him after all that he'd done to her family and her loved ones. He'd been the source of so much pain and problems. With her teeth and claws still buried in him, she pulled away from him, leaving wounds behind and leaving an opening for her father to attack.
 
Apocalypse was feeling the effects of his own eye blasts. He suddenly felt Malcot once again jumping on his body. The large ape letting out a roar as he started beating on the downed foe. Apocalypse shook off his own attack and that which was being delivered by Malcot. He blasted Malcot with his eye beams, sending the gorilla crashing down to the ground. " You are nothing but flees to me! " Apocalypse yelled out. He then turned and focused his eyes on Scarlet Cat. " I will kill everything you love and care about on this pathetic world! " Apocalypse yelled out at Scarlet Cat. His eyes started to glow with power. Before he could strike at Scarlet Cat. Dak came flying in and delivered a right cross to the jaw of Apocalypse. The large being was staggered by the martians blow.

Suddenly Tristan appeared from the ground. He became a hard, solid metal form and staggered Apocalypse with another wicked punch. There was a gust of wind, then Apocalypse felt someone tapping his shoulder. He turned to find Stargirl had recovered and was now behind him. " Talk is cheap bitch! " Stargirl snarled out before giving Apocalypse an upper cut punch. The villain lifted off the ground like a rocket being launched into the sky. Stargirl then shot up after him. She grabbed him, and pulled him to the edge of space. Stargirl had the thought of just knock this piece of shit into space and letting him die. However, she knew her father wouldn't approve. Eric always said they were heroes, not executioners. Stargirl glared at the villain for a moment. She then punched him in the stomach. Leaving Apocalypse gasping for air. Even he needed to breathe. The air was super thin up this high. Stargirl then let go of Apocalypse. He started to free fall back towards the ground. Stargirl watched as the villain began picking up more speed as he fell towards the ground. She then took off after him. Slamming into Apocalypse. Using her speed and power to make him fall even faster. They appeared above the city like a meteor, heading straight for the ground. " Oh shit!........Everyone run! " Tristan yelled out as he transformed into a Griffin. He flew over and picked up Ghost and Whisper. Stargirl was coming down fast. Her target wasn't the ground, but a nearby building. She planned on driving Apocalypse right through the building. Dak transformed into a dragon to help pickup those who couldn't fly away. That building was going to come down hard after Stargirl crashed Apocalypse into it.
 
Scarlet Cat was circling back around for a second attack, watching as Malcot attacked Apocalypse. However, he shook off his own attack and blasted Malcot, sending the large ape crashing to the ground as he yelled out about them being nothing but fleas to him. As he focused upon her, Scarlet Cat's head lowered and she bared her long fangs at him again as he threatened to kill everything she loved and cared about on the world. This was met with a loud roar from her and she was about to charge at him when Dak suddenly appeared and delivered a right cross to the villians jaw, staggering him. After Dak hit him, Tristan appeared and delivered his own attack in the form of a metal fist. Next was Stargirl who had recovered and attacked as well. Seeing her daughter strike Apocalypse and launch him into the sky, Scarlet Cat slowly backed down and shook out her fur with a growl before padding over towards Malcot, standing near him while watching as Stargirl went after their enemy, pulling him higher and higher until she could no longer see him.

After the two were out of sight, Scarlet Cat changed back and she huffed softly while standing next to Malcot. The woman still hadn't turned back to her red-haired form that so many were familiar with. Instead, she was back in her natural form once again. She was waiting for Stargirl to appear again. And when Stargirl did, she was coming back towards the city at a high speed with Apocalypse in tow, both of them hurtling towards earth like a meteor. It didn't take Tristan's announcement to get Scarlet Cat to move. She could see what was coming and she shifted once more. This time to a similar dragon form that Dak transformed into and she snatched up her father and she helped pick up a couple of those in the area that couldn't fly away and she took off with them.

When Tristan picked her up, Whisper gasped as she was lifted, but her gaze moved over everyone. She was worried that everyone who were their allies would get to safety, but there was one person in particular that she worried about. After a bit, she finally spotted him. Scarlet Cat had snatched Black Tiger up and was getting him to safety. Seeing this, Whisper was able to relax before turning her attention to the destructive force that was Stargirl and Apocalypse coming towards earth.
 
Raven & Nighthawk looked up at the sky as Stargirl came down very fast. " Oh! She's not! " Nighthawk said, disbelieving what his eyes were seeing. " Oh she is!......Grab someone and go! " Raven shouted as he flew over and grabbed the body of Image. Nighthawk picked up She Beast and took off after his father. They reached a point, several blocks away from what would be the impact zone. Stargirl had done a similar move with Armageddon, but with Apocalypse she'd gone higher and was moving faster towards the ground. Four, five even six booms were heard in the sky. This was Stargirl breaking the sound barrier and creating sonic booms as she moved faster towards the ground. Then suddenly, there was the impact. Stargirl drove Apocalypse through a large building. They crashed through each floor until the stuck the ground. The impact created a huge earthquake which would have destroyed large parts of New York, but Tristan, Scarlet Cat and Malcot, who recovered from the attack stood ready to absorb much of the energy.

Using their powers. The three shifters channeled as much of the impact energy away from the city. Sending little shockwaves out in all directions. This would keep the damage to a local area. Near the building which had collapsed on itself. The building tumbled down, sending dirt and dust into the air. Raven then asked Scarlet Cat to clear the air so they could move in and find Stargirl. " We just bought ourselves a building. " Raven said to Cat as she worked using her air power. He wouldn't let the people who pay taxes suffer for the loss of this building. Eric would buy it from the owner himself. The group of heroes waited until Scarlet Cat had cleared the air before they moved in. There was only rubble left from where a 40 floor building once stood.
 
Scarlet Cat landed not far from where Nighthawk and Raven landed, setting her father down as she gazed up at her daughter, watching the teen fly closer and closer to earth with every passing moment. When there were multiple booms heard in the sky, the shifter made a sound while shaking her head, her wings twitching as she folded them against her body. Then there was the impact as Stargirl drove Apocalypse into a large building. When they hit, a huge earthquake began to shake the ground and Scarlet Cat instantly knew what to do. She knew that this could possibly destroy large parts of New York, so she tapped into her earth powers and she began absorbing a lot of the energy. Her son and Malcot joined her and they worked together to keep absolute destruction from hitting New York.

They sent smaller shockwaves in different directions. While there would be tremors still felt all around the area, it was nothing as bad as what it could of been without the three shifters there. After a while, everything calmed down and Scarlet Cat once more changed her form back to the human one and she stood next to Raven as he asked her to clear the air so they could move in and find Stargirl. With a nod, Scarlet Cat began using her air powers to clear the air of dirt and dust. While she did this, she heard Raven say that they just bought themselves a building and she chuckled with a nod. "Indeed we did." she said gently. "I'm sure we can think of some use for the land." she told him as she finished clearing the air. Once it was done, they began to move in to search through the rubble left behind from the 40 floor building.

When the others began to move in, Whisper insisted on going with them. She would be able to help with her powers to move things if needed. Scarlet Cat was going to say no at first, before she finally relented and agreed to let the young woman go with them. "You must be careful though." she told the girl barely out of her teens. "Stay close to one of us." she told Whisper and the girl nodded. Whisper walked at Scarlet Cats side, the two of them heading for the site where Stargirl had landed.
 
In Washington D.C., President Gates could no longer see what was happening in New York. The tv news channels had lost the live feed they were getting from the city. Gates didn't know what was going on. But, he still had the briefcase and the launch codes to wipe out New York and as many of the superheroes as possible. Gates waited and watched for the live feed to return. In New York, Scarlet Cat had done her work. The area was clear of all the dirt and dust created when the 40 floor building was brought down. The heroes then moved in to find Stargirl. As they approached the rubble, Raven began scanning for signs of what happened to his daughter. There was a low rumbling sound coming from the debris. Raven told everyone to be careful. Suddenly some of the rubble started to shift, falling to the street. The reason for this became clear when Stargirl appeared. A little dirty, but otherwise unharmed by her actions. She was dragging Apocalypse behind her by the collar of his clothing. Once she saw her family, friends and fellow heroes. The teenage superhero tossed the villain at Scarlet Cat's feet. " The bitch wasn't as tough as he thought he was. " Stargirl huffed. She then began brushing off her costume. Stargirl said he was still alive, just knocked out.

Raven knew they didn't have time to relax. Not just yet. The battle of New York was over, but the heroes hadn't won yet. Raven turned to Whisper, who had done what Scarlet Cat had asked. She stayed close by. Standing beside Black Tiger. Raven asked if Whisper could effect President Gates from here? He knew how her powers worked, but he didn't know how far she could extend her powers. It was possible the girl needed to be closer to Washington. " Gates is standing by ready to launch nuclear missiles against us.....He must not know what's happened or the missiles would already be on their way.......We have to keep him distracted until we can arrest him. " Raven spoke to everyone gathered. He was ready to play their ace in the hole. This is when they needed Whisper's powers. Raven had a plan to get her closer to Gates, if that was needed.
 
The group all moved in to find the teenage superhero, all of them keeping their eyes and ears open for any sign of Stargirl. Raven was using his scanners to search for the girl while Scarlet Cat was reaching out with her senses in an attempt to locate the girl. As they were searching, a low rumbling of the debris beginning to shift could be heard and Raven told them to be careful, all of them becoming on guard as they listened. As the rubble shifted, Whisper used her powers to guide it gently to the ground so it wouldn't kick up as much dust as it could of. Suddenly Stargirl appeared, the young woman a bit dirty but unharmed, and she appeared while dragging an unconscious Apocalypse behind her. Seeing her daughter, Scartlet Cats eyes lit up before she watched as the girl tossed the villain at Scarlet Cat's feet while claiming that he wasn't as tough as he thought he was. After this, the shifter stepped over Apocalypse's body as if he were just a piece of trash in the street, and moved over to Stargirl, cupping her face in her hands and nuzzling the blonde's cheek affectionately with a faint purr. "That's my girl." she murmured before grinning at the teen.

By this time, Whisper had edged over to Black Tiger and was standing with the man who had taken care of her when she'd been in a medically induced coma after having undergone neural surgery and then he had taken care of her after she was woken up again. When Raven turned to her and asked her if she could effect the President from where they were. Several of the others turned to look at petite, quiet girl and she got a little nervous under all their gazes. Not everyone present knew exactly what her powers were. What everyone had seen so far was that she did have the ability to move things with her mind, but what they didn't all know was that her powers were greater then that. Her powers were those of telepathy, telekinesis and she had the ability to alter peoples perception of things. Before Raven and Scarlet Cat saved her, she had been forced to use her powers in ways that ended up causing a strain on her brain which caused an aneurysm. If it wasn't for the heroes, she'd be dead.

Whisper gently bit her lip as she looked around and then looked up at Black Tiger for a long moment, one of her hands going up to the scar that was hidden beneath her long hair. She knew that he worried about her pushing herself too much too soon. Finally she looked at Raven again and answered him with a slight nod. 'I can, but it would be easier if I were closer.' she replied through a telepathic channel that everyone would be able to hear. 'It would lessen the strain that such a feat would cause. But I will try if you wish it.'

Turning from where she stood with Stargirl, Scarlet Cat turned to look at the young woman. She knew that despite how frail the girl looked, she was a powerhouse of mental power. If the girl were trained by Xander back an the Institute, she could possibly even rival his powers. "We should get her closer." she told Raven. "Perhaps some of us could run a distraction while you take her closer?"
 
Stargirl gave her mother a sly smile as she spoke. Few knew how close they really were. Besides being family, they were lovers. Tina loved it when Alexandria would become a huge male tiger and fuck the teen with her huge cock. It was something Alexandria had done several times, and would gladly do again or her daughter. Though they weren't related by blood. Alexandria accepted the teenage girl as one of her cubs. Since then, Alexandria's pride had grown. She had a wonderful family which would continue to grow. She was carrying the newest member in her belly. Another wonderful child given to her by Eric.

After listening to both Whisper & Scarlet Cat. Raven agreed to move the girl closer to Washington D.C.. He didn't wish to put her at risk, or let her get hurt in anyway. Raven already had a plan, just in case one was needed. " No doubt Gates is watching the tv news.......None of the news channels has a live feed from New York......That will all change and we'll be facing nuclear missiles. " Raven spoke. " I want Gates to think that Apocalypse has defeated us......I want him to see what he really wants........Our bodies laying around the feet of Apocalypse. " Raven added before he continued with his plan. He asked Stargirl to fly Whisper to Washington. Raven wanted Scarlet Cat to go along. " With Whisper distracting Gates......You and Stargirl can place him in custody before he gets the chance to launch any missiles. " Raven said to Scarlet Cat and soon to be wife. They had a recorded confession from Apocalypse which said Gates & Dr. Lynch were acting under his orders. Doing illegal experiments and created super powered beings for Apocalypse. " What are we going to do about him? " Black Tiger spoke up, asking about Apocalypse. " He's not from Earth.......I doubt there is a prison that could hold him for long. " Black Tiger added. Raven already had a plan in mind.

Fresh out of his energy transformation devices. Raven asked Tristan to fly back to the cave and pick one up quickly. With a nod of his head, Tristan changed into a gust of air. He was gone within a second. Stargirl came over to Whisper. She told the petite girl, there was nothing to worry about. They would be in Washington before she knew it. Stargirl then gently picked Whisper up into her arms. The teenage superhero then looked to the sky. She lifted off quickly, before heading for Washington. She knew Scarlet Cat would be right behind her. It was now a race against time. Raven knew the live television feed could return at any moment. All the live feeds had been knocked out after the impact of Stargirl slamming Apocalypse into the ground. To give them an edge. Raven contacted James in the cave. The faithful family butler, along with Angel & Richard were told to stay in the cave during the battle. It was a safe place and provided them a way to escape should the heroes lose. Raven asked James to set up a jamming signal over the city. They needed to keep the tv news channels from regaining their live feeds from the city. At least for the next few minutes. The clock was running as James worked to block any signals from leaving the city.
 
Scarlet Cat saw the sly smile that her daughter gave her and chuckled while finally pulling away from the blonde. Ever since replying to Black Tigers summons to return to New York, her family and her pride had grown impressively. She had plenty of people who loved her, supported her and took care of her when she truly needed it. She had a man that her feline had chosen as her mate, a man that she was actually going to marry soon, and she had a daughter and three sons already with another child on the way. Despite everything going on with the government and with Apocalypse, Scarlet Cat couldn't think of a time when she was happier.

Raven agreed to moving Whisper closer to Washington D.C.. He wanted Stargirl to get Whisper there and for Scarlet Cat to accompany them so that when Whisper distracted Gates, Scarlet Cat and Stargirl could place him into custody before he had the chance to launch any missiles. Apocalypse had already confessed to Gates working with him, acting under his orders and doing illegal experiments and creating super powered beings to work for Apocalypse. Then Black Tiger brought up the topic of what they should do with Apocalypse and several of them looked at the still unconscious being laying on the ground. Black Tiger stated his doubt of a prison being able to hole him for long and Scarlet Cat nodded absently. However, Raven, as usual seemed to have a plan and he asked Tristan to fly back to the cave and pick up one of his energy transformation devices.

With Tristan gone, it was time for the three females to move. Whisper turned when Stargirl approached her and she swallowed a little nervously as the blonde told her there was nothing to worry about. She gasped when the other girl lifted her up into her arms and in a rare occurrence, she spoke out loud. "I suppose now would be a bad time to state that I'm afraid of heights?!" she said before crying out and wrapping her arms around Stargirls neck as she took off into the sky, her words trailing off in a cry of slight fear. This brought a brief sound of amusement from Scarlet Cat and she grinned while looking off after the girls. Her gaze then turned to Black Tiger, grinning at the man as if she knew some kind of secret. She then shifted into her air form and took off after the two younger women.

The three women raced across the sky, all three of them knowing that they were racing against the clock as they flew towards Washington, D.C.. Whisper was clinging to Stargirl, her face pressed against her neck while her eyes were squeezed shut tightly. Her long white hair getting tugged out of her hoody by the strong wind. Whisper had never been so high up in the air before nor moved at such a quick speed. It left her a little breathless. However, she knew that this was necessary in order to stop the man that wanted to destroy so many good people. As they closed in on Washington, Whisper began to reach out with her mental powers, searching for the President. With so many in D.C., it took her a little time, but she began to narrow down her search the closer they got to the white house. Finally, she was able to pinpoint the man and the moment she felt her mind touch his, Whisper eased into his mind with relative ease. And just in time.

Just as she did so, the live feed from the city returned. As the live feed started, it showed Raven and the others standing around an unconscious Apocalypse and they were reporting on how the heroes had yet again taken down a threat to the city. However, this wasn't what Gates would see. Instead, Gates would see just what he wanted to see. With the use of her powers, Whisper made it so Gates saw his master standing victorious over the bodies of the heroes that Gates despised so much. Many of them broken and bloodied. Mean while, Apocalypse's allies were standing tall at his side while the villain gave a speech on how the heroes had stood no chance against him and that Raven and Scarlet Cat's band were no more.
 
Stargirl couldn't help but smile as Whisper hugged her tightly. Keeping her face hidden as they flew quickly towards Washington D.C.. There was no danger to Whisper. Stargirl wouldn't let anything happen to the sweet little woman. The teenager thought the petite Whisper was rather cute. She wouldn't mind spending some time alone with her, or even with Whisper & Black Tiger. Stargirl knew what a fine looking older man Black Tiger was. In his alter ego, as Doctor Alvin Simms. He cared for all the medical needs of the Reed Family. Black Tiger was left wondering what that look Scarlet Cat had given him was for? It was the type that said Cat knew something. This puzzled the older man. He and Whisper had become very close, since she came under his care. They had in fact become lovers. This was something that Black Tiger hadn't shared openly. Yet, it seemed that Scarlet Cat knew more then everyone else did.

Tristan entered the cave. He found James, Angel & Richard were still safe. Tristan transformed into his normal form. He grabbed one of the devices Raven had wanted. Tristan then changed into an eagle for the flight back to the city. He took the device in his talons and took off. Meanwhile, Stargirl & Whisper quickly closed in on Washington. The closer Whisper got, the easier it was for her to reach out with her mind. She searched and found President Gates. Whisper then planted a false image into his mind. Allowing him to see what he wanted most to see. This would keep him distracted. Stargirl landed just outside the White House. She placed Whisper down, on the sidewalk. Giving the petite girl a clear view of the great American symbol. " Wait right here.....I'll be back. " Stargirl said before she took off again. Flying over the fence and towards the building. Stargirl knew Scarlet Cat would be right behind her. The teenage hero smashed through a side door. Not far from the Oval Office, where Gates was holdup. Several men tried to stop Stargirl, and though she wasn't going to hurt them, she wouldn't let anyone stop her. Guns were fired at the teenager, but guns were useless against her. Stargirl grabbed several guns, and twisted them before telling the agents to stand aside. The men knew better then to really mess with this girl. A gust of wind blew passed everyone. Heading straight for the Oval Office. Stargirl then followed.
 
That Scarlet Cat knew that Black Tiger and Whisper were intimate shouldn't be too surprising. He knew of the shifters abilities, both shifting and animalistic. In her animal forms, she could smell her friend all over Whisper, just as Whisper's scent could be smelt on him as well. And it wasn't just a normal body scent caused from being with someone for an extended amount of time. No, what she could smell on them were the pheromones caused from sexual encounters. Scarlet Cat was happy for her friend and for Whisper, as she knew that the young woman was a good, kind girl who had been mistreated most of her life because of her powers. The two seemed happy with each other and that was all that mattered.

Whisper knew that there was no danger, but she was still terrified of heights. Whisper was soon enough set down outside of the White House and she looked up at the white building while listening to Stargirl tell her to wait there and she nodded. "Please hurry." she softly told Stargirl. The young woman was nervous about being left alone in an unfamiliar city. Especially since people with powers were being searched for by the Government. Soon she was left all by herself as Stargirl and Scarlet Cat disappeared into the White House and Whisper kept her hold on Gates.

Stargirl was correct that Scarlet Cat was right behind her, the woman still in her air form following her daughter right into the building, only taking a moment to ruffle Whispers hair and making the girl smile before the shifter head into the White House. Inside Stargirl was taking care of the men with guns and the gunfire was beginning to draw Gates attention, but Whisper re-enforced her hold on him, making the noise less noticeable. She wanted to keep him as distracted as possible so that Stargirl and Scarlet Cat could get to the president in time. Inside, Scarlet Cat passed her daughter and head straight into the Oval office where she threw open the doors with a gust of wind. Before Gates could do anything, Scarlet Cat appeared before him and punched him in the face, her fist connecting hard and fast, knocking the man back away from the desk where the suitcase sat.
 
Black Tiger hadn't thought about Scarlet Cat's amazing ability for scent. Though, it wouldn't come as a surprise once he knew the truth. As Doctor Simms. He'd been a close friend and personal doctor to Alexandria for many years. Despite how close they were. Alexandria & Alvin never had sex with each other. This might have been an oversight on Alexandria's part, since Alvin would make a great lover. He was someone she trusted with her life, the lives of her family and the secrets they all had. Perhaps Alexandria would be willing to join Alvin & Whisper for an evening of fun? The worst she could say was no. But, knowing the type of person Alexandria was, it was doubtful she'd turn down the offer.

President Gates had been fooled by the image Whisper provided him. It was everything he every wanted to see. All the heroes appeared dead. All broken and laying at the feet of Apocalypse. Gates began dancing a jig while watching what he assumed was a real television news broadcast. The newscaster spoke of how Earth's heroes had been defeated. The only thing which would make him even happier, would be dancing a jig over the bodies of Scarlet Cat & Raven. Gates became aware of some popping sounds. Almost gunfire he thought. This started to draw his attention from the false image. However, Whisper tightened her hold on his mind. Gates was cruel, wicked and a terrible man, but he was weak willed. He was an easy target for someone like Whisper. The doors to the Oval Office burst open. Taking Gates by total surprise. Suddenly, Scarlet Cat appeared, delivering a powerful punch which took the man off his feet and threw him backwards. Gates was knocked away from his desk and from his briefcase. The case which carried the device which could launch all the nuclear missiles America had. This case was often called "The Nuclear Football". The punch brought Gates back to reality. His eyes opened wide after seeing who struck him. " You can be here!.......You're dead!.......I saw you on the news! " Gates shouted out. His disbelief was clearly written on his face. He then looked towards the television. The image on the screen was no longer the same. It now showed a close up of Raven and the others gathered around a fallen Apocalypse. The news showed Tristan arriving back with a device. Raven then took the device and placed it under the body of Apocalypse. There was a bright light as Apocalypse was transformed into energy and stored inside the device. " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! " Gates screamed out while reaching his hand towards the tv. As if he could save Apocalypse from his office.
 
The moment Scarlet Cat hit Gates, Whispers hold on the president failed and she knew she wouldn't be able to regain it easily. But she knew that she wasn't necessarily needed anymore to distract the man. So she slipped her hands into her pockets and just waited for her friends to return to her. Meanwhile, Scarlet Cat stood over the president after hitting him and she glared at him as he looked at her with wide eyes, her hate for the man showing as he began shouting at her, declaring that she couldn't be there because she was dead and that he had seen her on the news. The shifter placed her hands upon her hips and softly growled at the man as he looked at the tv which now showed a much different scene then what he had been celebrating moments ago.

She was quiet as he watched the fallen villain get trapped within the device that Tristan had fetched for Raven and she felt a sense of relief wash over her in knowing that the villain was trapped. Her gaze then returned to Gates and she moved to stand between him and the desk where the briefcase sat, turning her back on him long enough to close the briefcase. "It's over, Gates." she told him while turning around again. "Apocalypse has named you as one of his partners in his evil scheme. Everyone will know what you've done before they day is out." She shook her head while looking at the man. As much as she hated Gates, she knew that if he hadn't been so hateful towards those who were different and had been accepting, he could of been a decent president. Gates was a charismatic man and he knew how to drive people. However, he had been an evil man and wanted to destroy people like herself and Raven.

"You should give up and come quietly." she told him while leaning against the desk, waiting for Stargirl to join them. She didn't want to hurt the man any further then she already had. He was defeated and soon enough he would be in custody.
 
Scarlet Cat was right. Everyone would soon know that Gates had been in the pocket of Apocalypse. Using tax payers money to fund the secret project to create an army of super powered people under the control of Apocalypse himself. Even now. Raven had James release the confession made by Apocalypse. Every high ranking member of the government, every member of the press got a copy. The police departments in Washington and New York got copies. It wasn't long before social media started sharing copies of copies. Gates' career as President was over. Stargirl entered the office. Moving to join Scarlet Cat where she stood. The two women looked down on Gates. He still looked at the television. Disbelief was still written on his face. Gates couldn't understand how they lost. The thought of losing seemed impossible. Scarlet Cat & Stargirl waited until someone came and picked Gates up. That happened when some FBI agents arrived and placed him into custody. The two female heroes were now free to return home. Stargirl said she would go get Whisper and meet Cat back in New York.

Moments later, the teenage hero appeared from the White House. Gliding through the air before touching down softly near Whisper. " It's over Whisper.......We won because of you. " Stargirl spoke softly with a smile. She then leaned down and kissed Whisper on the cheek. Whisper had helped to save a lot of people today. Not only the lives of heroes like Raven & Scarlet Cat. But also so many people in and around New York City. Millions could have died if Gates had launched missiles at the city. Whisper kept that from happening. Stargirl then asked if Whisper was ready to go home. She promised this trip would be slower and not as high up. Stargirl easily picked Whisper up in her arms. She then remarked how cute Whisper was. Giving the petite girl another kiss on the cheek. Stargirl then gently lifted off the ground and started for home.
 
While watching the defeated man continue to stare at the television screen, Scarlet Cat shook her head before glancing over as Stargirl entered the room as well. She gently smiled at her daughter before they both looked at Gates again. "Oh how the mighty have fallen." she softly murmured to the teenage hero. The shifter then hoisted herself up to sit upon the edge of the desk and she glanced around the oval office, a smile tugging at her lips before she glanced at Stargirl again. "I have a story to tell you about this office later." she told her daughter, a gleam in her bright eyes. It was a look that usually came to the woman when she told her daughter about her many escapades from her past. While her family knew all about the dark portions of her past, she'd not told them every little bit about the rest of her life. Not because she didn't want to, but because there was just so much to remember and tell them. The two women waited together until someone came to arrest Gates and that came in the form of a couple FBI agents who showed up and took him into custody. With the president arrested, they were now able to return home. As they left the white house, Stargirl said that she would get whisper and meet Scarlet Cat back in New York and the woman nodded. "I'll see you both back in New York." she told the blonde before she changed. This time, she took on one of her avian forms and took off into the sky, wanting to enjoy the more leisurely pace that the bird form offered her.

Mean while, Whisper had stood and watched from outside the gates of the whitehouse as several cars showed up, speeding up and soon several people rushed into the building. A brush against their minds told her that they were FBI and they were there to arrest Gates. This made the girl smile and a couple minutes later she saw a bird fly away from the White House and head off in the direction of New York. Moments later, Stargirl joined Whisper and the young woman looked up as Stargirl touched down near her and she told Whisper that they had won because of her. After Stargirl kissed her on the cheek, she blushed and bowed her head. Because of how fair her skin was, the blush blossomed brightly on her pale face, staining her cheeks pink and she shoved her hands deeper into her hoody's pockets. "I just did what was right." she softly said before looking up at the powerful teen through her eyelashes.

Whisper was a beautiful young woman with an air of innocence that seemed to hang about her despite how intimate she and Black Tiger had become. "Doctor Simms told me once, that what we do shouldn't be based on whether or not it's easy, but on whether or not it is right. Because what is right, isn't always easy." she told Stargirl. After she was asked if she was ready to go home, Whisper nodded before smiling and blushing just a little brighter when Stargirl promised that the trip back would be slower and lower. Shortly afterwards, Stargirl lifted the girl into her arms while remarking on how cute Whisper was and giving her another kiss on the cheek. The girl made a soft sound of embarrassment, and she buried her face into Stargirls neck, but this time it wasn't from fear.

The girl wrapped her arms loosely around Stargirls neck as she lifted from the ground and started them towards home. Whisper looked like she was in her mid to late teens, but she was actually a bit older then that. She didn't have the best childhood, as most of it had been spent in labs where people poked and prodded at her, putting her through terrible tests to try to figure out the extent of her powers. Of course, she had eventually rebelled against the 'hero' group that she'd been forced into and she aided Raven and Scarlet Cat, who in turn saved her life.
 
Stargirl agreed with Whisper. She did what was right. The teenage hero also agreed with what Doctor Simms told Whisper. It was his words of wisdom he shared with her. Still, Whisper had done a great job. The heroes may have won without her, but their victory would have been much harder. Whisper came through when she was needed most. Just like a true hero. As they flew away from Washington. Stargirl told Whisper, she should be proud of her part in this fight. She said the pretty petite girl had an amazing gift. One which she could use for good, and not because someone controlled her. Whisper was now with people who cared about her, not those looking to use her for their own reasons. Stargirl then spoke of how she would enjoy getting to know her better. The teenage heroes mind was open. It would only take a brush from Whisper's mind to know how much better Stargirl wanted to know her. Stargirl was very open sexually. She wouldn't mind joining Doctor Simms & Whisper, if that was something they both wanted.

It took longer for Stargirl to return to New York. She promised an easier flight for Whisper and that's just what she gave her. They soon touched down, not far from where they took off from. Most of the heroes were still gathered around. Raven had Nighthawk fly Image back to the cave. His arm could be reattached and Image would be right as rain in no time. A great victory had been won by the heroes. However, that victory did come at a cost. As impossible as it seemed. Doctor Baxter had died. Brute had suffered a major brain injury from the battle with Armageddon. He changed back into Baxter before the injury could heal. Doctor Baxter would received a heroes burial. He died saving not only New York, but the entire planet. The mark of a true hero.
 
Whisper smiled gently, but almost sadly when Stargirl told her that she had an amazing gift which she could use for good. 'I like helping others.' she told Stargirl, falling back to her usual form of communication using her telepathic abilities. 'But my powers... they are as much a curse as a gift. Doctor Simms told me that the strain caused by my abilities to alter others perception of reality will one day kill me.' This was something that Whisper hadn't informed any of the others when she agreed to help with Gates. Simms had known of this possibility and it was something that Whisper would always worry about. The strain using her telepathic and telekinetic abilities was much less then that of her third ability.

As she spoke to Stargirl, Whisper could read some of Stargirls feelings and a couple of her errant thoughts and it peeked her curiosity. It would be something for her to perhaps bring up with Doctor Simms later after they had returned home.

Back in New York, Scarlet Cat had gotten there first and she arrived to bad news. They had lost Doctor Baxter. During his battle as Brute against Armageddon, the wonderful doctor had suffered a major brain injury and Brute had turned back into Baxter before the injury could heal. Scarlet Cat felt horribly guilty that Doctor Baxter had passed. If she hadn't of pulled him into the fight, he would of died. But at the same time, if it hadn't of been for Brute, they all would of probably been dead by now. The shifter knelt at Baxters side and pressed a soft kiss against his forehead while thanking both him and Brute. She softly murmured that Baxter would now be at peace.

After Stargirl touched down with Whisper, the young woman softly grasped the teens hand and led her over to a pile of rubble from the fallen building. 'I need your help.' she told Stargirl. 'We can't leave her.' Buried beneath the rubble, carefully incased in a telekinetic bubble, was the body of Sorceress. Whisper had been looking after her body, not wanting the beautiful, kind woman's body to be left to the whims of the villians.
 
Stargirl didn't know until Whisper had told her. Using her powers would one day cost the petite woman her life. Stargirl felt terrible, but she also had hope. Stargirl knew her father was one of the most brilliant men on the planet. Eric always said, technology can do anything. Stargirl wondered if her father could do something to help Whisper use her powers without worrying when and if she would die. After all, Eric had created special ear devices to help control Alexandria's hearing. He also created special types of contacts to add Alexandria's vision. Both devices were linked into and controlled by Alexandria's thoughts. Eric had also helped to create a special visor for Blaster to wear. Allowing the girl to see normally until special contacts could be made for her as well. Stargirl planned on speaking with her father and asking what they could do for Whisper.

In the heat of battle and with everything that happened. Everyone had forgotten about Sorceress. She'd fallen during a point in the battle, before everything went to shit. Stargirl was surprised when Whisper grasped her hand. She was then reminded about what happened. " Oh my God!.......You're right! " Stargirl exclaimed before she began moving the rubble from the area Whisper had been protecting. The teenage hero called out to the others, who had been gathered around where Doctor Baxter laid. Raven rushed over, looking down with a solemn look on his face. He knelt down as the protective bubble disappeared. Raven gently touched her face. Remembering all the times they encountered each other. How she was always there with words of wisdom, to help guide the hero through his life. Raven still didn't know how Sorceress had given her life force to save his life a while back. Scarlet Cat would remember. It was her wish that Sorceress made could true.
 
Whisper had come to terms with the eventual loss of her life to her powers. They had already almost killed her, but Doctor Simms had saved her through surgery. But the threat was till there. The strain on her mind would take her life. She just hoped that if she died because of her powers, it was while helping others. She could feel Stargirls surprise when she grabbed her hand and pulled her over to the pile of rubble. That Whisper had been able to hold the protective bubble around the magic users body even when she'd been taken all the way to Washington, D.C., spoke of how strong she was despite how she fragile she looked. With Stargirls help, Whisper began moving some of the rubble, but the teen moved most of it before calling to the others.

The two were soon joined by the others as they all moved to join the two young women. As they approached, everyone saw Sorceress's form being revealed from beneath the rubble. Whisper had kept not just rubble from touching the woman, but the dust and dirt from the battle hadn't touched her. She still looked as if she'd just recently fallen. With the rubble cleared away completely, Whisper used her powers to carefully move Sorceress' form away from the debris before finally letting the protective bubble fall away, allowing Raven to kneel next to the woman and he touched her face. While he did this, Scarlet Cat watched. They had lost two wonderful people during the battle that day. All thanks to Gates and Apocalypse. Scarlet Cat could remember how Sorceress had appeared to her when she and Raven had been trapped and the woman had saved Ravens life. And today she had saved Scarlet Cat.

Finally, after everything she'd done that day, it was beginning to catch up to her and Whispers energy was draining quickly as she moved to stand with Black Tiger, leaning against his side while gazing sadly upon the beautiful woman who had passed away. "She died saving my life." Scarlet Cat said from Ravens side, kneeling next to him and resting her hand upon his shoulder.
 
Raven bowed his head, as Scarlet Cat spoke of how Sorceress saved her life. " Yes....She did.......We must always remember the sacrifices made by Sorceress and Doctor Baxter this day.......They gave their lives for us all. " Raven spoke in a somber tone. He then rose to his feet, turned and looked at Whisper. His mind was the only one the petite girl could reach. His helmet protected his thoughts with a type of jamming signal which kept those with telepathy out. Not everyone who used this type of power was good. " Thank you Whisper.......Thank you for being there when we needed you most. " Raven spoke while holding out his hand towards her. Stargirl wanted to speak up and tell her father about what Whisper had said, but she held her tongue. She thought this wasn't the right time. Stargirl knew how bashful the young woman could become. As Raven spoke. Black Tiger put his arm around Whisper and pulled her closer to his body. He cared deeply for her, and she knew this.

Raven had the bodies of Doctor Baxter & Sorceress removed from the site and taken to the Hall of Heroes. The following day, as construction started to repair and rebuild the damaged parts of the city. The heroes gathered to bury to of their own. They were laid beside the bodies of other fallen superheroes. Raven said they were now gone, but they would never be forgotten. People wondered if the heroes would reform the league. The law which had ban them, was lifted. The heroes were no longer under the control of the government. Raven wasn't sure what should happen with the league. He planned on sitting down with Alexandria and talking it over. Until then, the heroes would work on their own. The family group, led by Scarlet Cat & Raven would continue working as a team. That much wouldn't change. After a few days, everyone's moods became lighter. They were putting their grief behind them. The Reed Family still planned on having their special gangbang with Angel. It was just pushed back because of what happened. It would take place at the end of the week. Tina finally approached her father & mother with what Whisper had told her. She asked if there was anything they could do? Eric felt it was possible, they could be able to help Whisper. He would need to study how her powers worked. He would need to see her brain as her powers were active. Eric could take scans of Whisper. He would then have a better idea of what could be done. Eric suggested they call Alvin and invite him and Whisper to the manor for dinner.
 
As Raven spoke, Scarlet Cat gently squeezed his shoulder, nodding slowly as he spoke of how they should always remember the sacrifices made by Sorceress and Doctor Baxter. She then stepped back as he rose to his feet and he turned to look Whisper. Everyone else turned to look at the young woman and she blushed as she became the center of their attention as Raven spoke. However, Black Tiger wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close, his embrace comforting to the tired woman and she snuggled into his side while smiling gently at Raven. "I couldn't just stand by while everyone else came to help." she murmured in reply to the man. She tipped her head up and looked at the strong black man holding her close, a small affectionate smile upon her face. Whisper and Black Tiger made an interesting pair, as different as day and night, but they went well together. Once everyone turned their attention elsewhere, Whisper softly told Black Tiger that she was tired and a mild headache was coming on. This was something that happened when she pushed herself a bit too much. Once they were home, Whisper would probably take some medicine and sleep for the rest of the day.

When the bodies of Doctor Baxter and Sorceress were to be moved, Scarlet Cat stepped forward to transport Sorceress herself. The bodies were returned to the Hall of Heroes. The next day, the heroes gathered to bury their own, Baxter and Sorceress being buried next to other fallen heroes and Raven said a couple words before they were laid to rest. She and Raven knew that others were wondering about the League and if they were going to reform once again. There were no answers to that question yet. But with the law banning the heroes lifted, the heroes would once more return to patrolling the streets, with Scarlet and Raven's family continuing to work together.

Of course, over the next couple of days, their grief began to pass as they put it behind them and they once more fell back into the swing of things. There were things that had been pushed back that the Reed family had to take care of, such as the welcoming gangbang for Angel in order to officially welcome her into the family. Because of everything that had happened, it had been pushed back. Angel understood of course. She was one of the most understanding and caring people that the Reed family ever met and it was thanks to her abilities. Of course, at the end of the week, Tina finally approached them and told them about what Whisper had revealed to the young woman about her powers. Hearing that there was such a threat to the young womans life from her own abilities concerned Alexandria. Especially since Whisper never said anything about it the other day. Eric said that there might be something that they could do to help Whisper, but he would need to study how the girls powers worked.

When he suggested they call Alvin and invite him and Whisper to dinner, Alexandria nodded and told him that she would call Alvin herself, which she did. Alexandria made a call to Alvin and told him that she and Eric wanted to invite him and Whisper to dinner that weekend.
