With all the Breen ships taken out, Lenara gazed at the viewing screen for a couple more moments, watching the scraps from the ships float through space before she turned her head to look at Kyle as the ship turned and left the area, returning to Federation space. With this win, they now knew that Lieutenant Commander Quinn's alterations to the ship had worked and they now had a way to fight back against the Breen. So they returned to Starbase 134 where Kyle reported to Admiral Price that the shield changes had worked and Admiral Price in turn ordered all starships to alter their shields the same way. While the starships were altering their shield emitters and Quinn was working with Romulan engineers, a war planning meeting was called. Both Kyle and Lenara attended this meeting. There were a number of admirals as well as starship captains.
During the meeting, several admirals and captains spoke of containing the Dominion, bottling them up in the Cardassian frontier and just ending the war that way. This brought a scoff from Lenara, the woman frowning at this and both she and Kyle spoke their disagreement to this idea. They both made their arguments to the rest of the room. At one point, Lenara even stood up and began addressing the entire room while she slowly moved around the table. She struck an impressive figure as she stalked gracefully around the table, her gaze moving from one person to the next while she spoke of the impressive ship building skills the Dominion had and she spoke of how, if they did barricade the Dominion into the Cardassian frontier, they would have perhaps five years of peace before the Dominion struck and then all of the fighting and all the losses they had already suffered would be for naught. "What would follow those five years of peace, would be nothing but a lifetime of slavery under the Dominion." she said. Not once did the woman raise her voice, yet the entire room had become dead quiet as they listened to her. She had captivated her both with the passion and authority she spoke with, and with her physique.
As she had walked around the room, she had seen how a number of the captains eyed her up and she knew what they were thinking. When she reached her seat again, she stopped and leaned forward, placing her hands upon the table while looking around her, stating that it would be best if now that they had an advantage on the Breen, they should push on. Force them to continue retreating and finally finish this war. After she finished speaking, Lenara lowered herself into her seat and turned things over to Kyle who stood and commanded the floor as he moved over to a large map of the Dominion withdraw. He spoke of a major attack on Dominion forces and pushing deep into Cardassian space. To not stop until they reached Cardassia Prime and ended the war. Lenara nodded in agreement with her captain, the confidence in her captain and the agreement that she had for what he said showing on her face.
