Yu-gi-oh 5Ds: Rise of Darkness and Corruption (Athene/ImaginaryMuse & Razgriz)

"I ... huh? Really? You're ... okay with that?"

Honestly, it was one of the very last things Yuna would have ever thought Hotsuma would agree to. He was so fucking stubborn. Both as her normal self and Yukio, she had seen so many similarities between her and the other leader. So it wouldn't have shocked her if he just said something along the lines of "Fuck this place, we're outta here. Now!".

... So for her very ears to hear he was actually encouraging her to take the offer up?

Her head tilted back as Yuna let out a long, exhausted sigh. "I'm sooooo sick of feeling like a goddamn guinea pig," she started, hastily raising a finger before anyone could interrupt her. "However, if this is actually for something more useful and less ... creepy ... then fine. I'll try. But know my patience is wearing thin. If nothing shows up soon enough ... well ... I'll just take my chances and promised rewards anyway and get the hell out. I hope that sounds more than fair enough."

Naturally, the nurse didn't argue though, to be somewhat fair and honest, Yuna wasn't concerned about her response. Rather, it was the man towering over her, even if due solely to an adrenaline rush.

"Point made though, I suppose. The war we're gonna give Sector will need us to be able to function. So ... alright. Final answer locked in, I suppose."

Yuna would wait for the nurse to leave; not because she was ashamed. Far from it. But it really was no one's affairs to see any public displays of affection she gave Hotsuma. Only when she was positive about the coast being clear did her fingers lightly begin weaving through Hotsuma's raven locks. Her head weakly moved from side to side, "What went through my head, huh? Well ... it really was like drowning. But ... more like ... realizing you had been drugged and left underwater so long. When two and two add together, your lungs realize what they need, as does your whole body. Panic sets in so fast ... you don't give a shit if you're in an ocean, a river, or what. Anything around you? Who cares. I could have been literally surrounded by the most dangerous sharks and I wouldn't have given half a shit. Maybe a quarter though."

Yuna weakly chuckled at her own cheesy pun.

Her head briefly - instinctively - turned to look back at the heart monitor. She didn't want to somehow realize her waking up had been a dream. No, she wanted this to be real.

"I ... don't know why but .... this is literally the first time since I passed out after the duel between e and Aki that my consciousness returned. I ... I'm not sure why or ... anything. It was ... really fucking scary to know I was out that long and .... "

Yuna swallowed, feeling her words getting caught in her throat and all the courage she'd managed to grab drift away.

"I'm sorry. It probably isn't making sense. Even I don't get it, really. So .... they better hurry up and solve this puzzle. I was shitty with them, anyway. Heh. Go figure it'd come back to bite me in the ass."

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Like every other good thing, their private moment was forced to end. At least the nurse had agreed to give Hotsuma and her the requested half hour. Still, it didn't make Yuna wish any less her lover didn't have to be stitched up, re-hooked to IVs, put back in a new bed, and all that other shit.

But ... she knew they were right. If he had stayed in a hurt state, it wouldn't have been good for him either to risk his own life.

"I really fucking hope so," Yuna softly replied, her eyes slowly closing as she held Hotsuma's hand. "I don't wanna be forced to stay here just because something really .... fucked up happened with me. I may not have voiced my desire to get out as much as you, but I do share that same feeling. A bit more so than I have over the past weeks, now. I wouldn't be shocked if it was simply this place that sent me .... you know."

Yuna lazily opened her right eye, reminding herself of where exactly the "Call Nurse" buttons were before shutting it once more.

"For now ... may as well try to get some rest. The real and voluntary kind."

... Of course, the fact she had been essentially comatose for two and a half days made that a much easier said than done task. But it certainly didn't stop Yuna from trying, either. And in the end, that was all she was asking her own body and Hotsuma to do; to make an effort to gain some sleep.

Hotsuma was more than happy to see that Yuna went along with him; were this any other time, he would have inarguably said 'Fuck it', had them collect their winnings and leave on the spot. But with Yuna's trigger still being unknown, he wanted to make sure that she would be okay to leave...And if that meant spending a few extra hours having them be looked at...

To him it was worth it. Even more so since he wasn't all that great of shape either, and would allow his body to rest. And besides, they'd spent how long here? Another couple of hours wouldn't be anything difficult.

Or rather, so they might think.

"And trust me, Yuna...If the circumstances were any different, I would be 100% with you. You might not have said it like me, but I know you felt it. But after we catch some zees, we're gone. You can count on that." he replied, letting go of her hand and laying back in his cot. And for the next hour or so, he was sleeping contentedly.

Though, for some reason...He was feeling uneasy after that, making him open and rub his eye wearily. "Dude...If this is some kind of joke, I'm really not in the mood..." Hotsuma muttered grumpily to his Duel Spirit, but before the Emperor could reply his retort, he heard a voice cut through the silence...Outside of his head.

"Oh, it's no joke, Hotsuma-kun..."

At this, the young man's eyes shot open almost instantly; at the entrance of their room was a robed figure, his face hidden by a hood...But that voice was one he would never forget. "The fuck..." Hotsuma tried to shout, but soon felt something shove him hard against the wall, a loud pained cry leaving his lips. The fucker flipped his bed, throwing him off and onto the floor hard.

"I'll get to you in a second; you stole from me, boy, and that's unforgivable. But even worse..." he said, quickly turning his attention to Yuna, hands coming around her throat "Is the fact this little whore so willingly gave it up for you! If you like cock so much, my sweet, I'll give you enough to last ten lifetimes!"

"Yuna...!" Hotsuma cried out weakly, trying despite his heavy damage to summon forth his Emperor form...But something was blocking, in fact, he couldn't even feel his alter ego. Deciding to forgo it, he tried through sheer force of will to stand...But the pain was too much.

"Ah, ah, ah. No outside interference, please...This has been a long time coming, and I plan on enjoying every last second of it." Tokumo hissed bemusedly, pulling out a length of cord. And before Yuna might have a chance to fully wake up, he was on her, tying her limbs to the bed before stepping back to admire his work. "Yes...That look suits you perfectly. An angel for me to explore to my heart's content. Oh and don't about the nursing staff; they're...indisposed, at the moment." he then added on gleefully as he waved the short blade around in front of him, taking a few steps towards the young woman.

"Tsk tsk, Yuna; had I known you would come to love being fucked so much, I would have given it to you much sooner. You really hurt my feelings, you know. Giving your virginity to Hotsuma-kun like that, it's almost like you don't even care about poor little me." he teased, running the edge of the knife against her arm.

Leaning in, he would then whisper in her ear, "That's alright, I suppose; there's something to be said about a woman with experience. But first...I don't want anything numbing you from every little poke and prod I plan on giving you." Standing back up, he would cut each line hooked into her arm. First the saline, then the IV containing painkillers, and finally he would unplug the heart monitor before tearing the electrodes from her body.

"Now then...Let's get to know each other, more personally" Tokumo growled, failing to hide the hints of his lust as he began to cut the clothes from her body. Hotsuma tried to rise again, and managed to pull himself up over the bedframe. "H-hey, leave her alone!" Giving a frustrated sigh, Tokumo just said "One moment..." and without so much as a warning, stood and kicked the Disciples' leader square in the face. Knocking him flat on his back again, groaning in agony.

"Now then...Where were we?"

Whether it had been sheer will power or pure exhaustion, Yuna somehow managed to fall asleep. Well ... partially. She wasn't in a deep slumber, but it was enough that her hand fell out of Hotsuma's and slumped beside her bed. The rest was ... uneasy. Probably fueled on by the fact she had already been unconscious, and in such a forced manner for so long. It'd no doubt be a lot better if she knew she could wake up. Originally, she had intended to silence her nerve-wracking thoughts andd enjoy waht she had miraculously earned.

... But everything started working against her the moment Yuna felt something find her neck.

"Hmm?" she weakly groaned, instinctively jerking away from the foreign touch.

Something's off ... wrong. Hotsuma's humor can be dry, sure. But he wouldn't joke about hurting you like that ... so ....

The loud clattering of objects - including something that seemed heavier than anything else - made her eyes slowly begin to flutter open. "The fuck is going on?"

Her brain registering a rough and uncomfortable restraint of some sort binding her left arm down finally made her wake up fully. Her eyes blinked a few times, just from sheer disbelief. Her sight had to be toying with her. Right.

"You?" she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.

"GET THE FUCK OUT! NOW!"

The hell with worrying about the equipment. Realizing everything that had been happening and was going on activated an adrenaline rush in Yuna. She raised her arms, trying to get some good shoves in. Whether they were already bound or not didn't matter. Unfortunately, it was because of that very fact nothing was nearly as effective as it would normally be. "COWARD!" she spat angrily, lifting a knee up to try thrusting it up in Tokumo's gut.

"Hmph. If .. if you're gonna wield a weapon like that, don't make idle threats. I've survived much worse than a petty dagger like that."

It wasn't a complete bluff, though it was in some regards. All the same, it was true that even with the bravado Yuna was displaying, she didn't really want to push her luck with death. Not again, and definitely not with how recent the last encounter had been. At the same time, Tokumo was right; she didn't give even a tenth of a shit about him or his feelings. And the glare reflecting in her eyes easily revealed that much to be true.

Rose?! Rose, don't be quiet on me now, please! I need you!

It was ... interesting. Odd even. There were definitely times her spirit did seem to sleep - or at least remain quiet. But when something major like this occurred, it was typically her that would give Yuna a warning. So the cold shoulder treatment ... it was making her more on edge.

Rose? ROSE?!

"Oi, are you a fucking idiot?! WAIT!"

The needles were at least left in, which was a blessing in its own rights. And even without being able to see her pulse, her heart did continue to beat. For the briefest of seconds though, Yuna had temporarily forgotten she wasn't in such a bad state unplugging the monitor and electrodes would result in immediate death.

ROSE! SERIOUSLY, I FUCKING NEED YOU!

"C-Can't ... "

Rose? What do you mean?

"Sorry ... "

A confused look crossed her face. Rose's voice had been ... weak. Barely loud enough for Yuna to hear, and souding mainly like a Her head tilted in time to watch Hotsuma kicked down to the floor. But when she looked at her lover ... she began to add two and two together. Even from here, she couldn't sense the fiend in him, and he was as easy to sense as Rose on any other given day.

"What the fuck did you do?! Why can't we change?"

Yuna's chest rapidly rose and fell, her wrists pulling as frantically against the cords as she could. Damn any physical consequences that would probably result from this, and definitely damn this bastard towering over her. Of course, only damning him was far too simple. But ... it'd do, for now.

"You may as well just kill me, because I'm not giving you anything. You fucking hear me?! Not a damn thing!"

Try as she might to threaten him, Tokumo knew all too well he was in complete control here. And once Yuna was completely immobilized, he felt even surer of himself. Yes, she was going to pay for not letting him be her first...And no one, not even her precious Hotsuma, would be able to save her.

"Oh, I'm going to do much more than just threaten, my dear. I might have been playful before, but now I'm going to get serious." he replied, tracing the knife ever so slowly along her hospital gown...Before the first cut would expose her chest. "I'll admit I'd prefer them a little bigger....But there's something to be said about smaller breasts" he commented, fingers coming to touch down on the mounds.

"More sensitive, and best of all...I can fit it in the palm of my hand. Really feel every little bit of your delightful flesh" he commented, the thin digits gently closing on the peaks of her breasts. Giving them a small squeeze, he then said "Is this how Hotsuma touched you? Did you like his fingers on you like this?"

Leaning in a little closer, he then added, "But it's not enough for you is it? Well don't worry, I plan on giving you everything you could ever want and more."

Hotsuma squirmed on the ground, trying to get his bearings after the blow to the head jarred his vision; he couldn't feel the Emperor's presence, and trying to transform made painful shocks rush through him. His body convulsing with pain.

"I can't...why?"

....

It was as if someone was causing deliberate interference, making nothing but static resound within his mind. "The hell..." the boy groaned, trying to get up and help his lover. But he couldn't; his body was still too weak, and whatever was happening made transforming into his alter ego impossible.

"Emperor...Come on...Answer me."

"Som...conflic....Can't...."

Hotsuma couldn't figure out what was causing this; however, he didn't feel this bad until after Tokumo came to crash their little siesta. Which led him to believe this sonofabitch was doing something...But what?

As Yuna asked what he might be doing, Tokumo just grinned as he gripped her breasts harder. "Oh, now you care about what I do? Is that how you operate? Not caring about men until something happens to you?" he teased, bringing the knife into view once more as he placed the edge on the skin between her mounds, pressing ever so slightly to make a bead of blood appear.

It was here that he then lifted the knife up and licked the blood, letting out a small sigh, "Delightful...But as for why Rose is having a problem? I'm afraid it's a bit complicated...But let's just say I've found a way to counteract your little contracts. Rose is about as useful to you as a wet paper towel in a sneezing contest."

He then waved the knife around again, adding "But...That just means you and I...can have all the time we want. And it doesn't matter what you want, or what you're going to give me. Because I'm going to take everything I want from you."

He then made another cut in her nightgown, this time exposing her groin. "And I do mean everything, my dear..."

"Whatever," Yuna bitterly murmured under her breath. "I don't believe you at all. You're pathetic. Weak. Even more of a coward than I first thought. No matter the word you wanna use to call yourself, you don't scare me. Not for one millisecond."

... Watching the knife lower and get so close to her heart would have proven otherwise. That was, luckily, one of the only good things that came from him yanking the electrodes off her body and disabling said machine; because he couldn't tell as easily anymore. Tokumo would have to listen or detect her pulse the old fashion way. By the time he did that, it may seem like it was fine. Going at a more 'normal' pace instead of the slightly faster one that revealed how she was really feeling.

"Hmph, nope. Not even close, in fact. See, he did something you're failing to do. I'm not moaning. I told you I wouldn't give you any satisfaction. I fucking meant it!"

Yuna rolled her eyes, sneering cruelly as Tokumo continued fondling her breasts. "You're wasting my time. Even the strongest of aphrodisiacs will never make my body react in a positive manner. Have you never heard about how the body can react? If it wants something, it'll happily accept it. Likewise, it rejects and gets rid of anything it doesn't want. Right now is a perfect example; I don't want to give you anything; a soft sigh, a moan, nada. And that's exactly what you're going to get."

Yuna swallowed, watching the blade move close again to her flesh ... and actually cut it a bit. Her fists clenched as she hissed, latching tightly on her lower lip to hide any screams or whimpers that otherwise wanted to resound in the room.

"How ... I operate .... should be the least of your worries, brat. Just know I do what I want, when I want. Don't like it? Well --"

Yuna's expression shifted from a more neutral and irritated look to one of absoulte disgust as Tokumo drank some of her blood.

"Jesus, the fuck is wrong with you?! You sure you shouldn't be running a damn vampire deck? Heh. Maybe they'd be less likely to humiliate you, if nothing else, huh?"

Yuna's body began to shake a bit as her lower body was exposed. Her legs hastily shut, Yuna's head turning and burning slightly as he saw she hadn't bothered with any form of panties.

Definitely not for at least the several weeks they had been here, possibly longer.

Regardless, she was trying to keep him from being able to see her, especially in such a vulnerable position.

"Get away from me!" Yuna demanded. It was definitely in a slightly weaker tone; but the words held as much fury and venom as they had the first time she'd uttered them.

Indeed, Tokumo was starting to get a little aggravated that she wasn't quite reacting in the way he wanted. But this was just her playing hard to get; in time, she would come to love his touch. To understand that if she didn't comply, there would be consequences.

"Feh, vampires? Is that really the best you can insult me with? Those photosensitive little fairies can burn in the sun for all I care" he snarked; though he didn't say it, one of his first decks was actually a vampire deck. It had exceptionally draw power and play speed, but found they had very few beaters to attack with. And those that had higher strength were harder to summon than fiends...Plus their design was so cliche.

But when she trembled, that sick grin returned. "Ah, so this is how I get your attention. I should have figured really; you don't much up top, so it's better for someone to go down below." the man sneered, gripping her thighs and forcing them open to let him see her womanhood. Sliding two fingers against her sex, he gently teased the outer lips, occasionally pressing against the bead at the top.

"Fight me all you like, Yuna...But right now it's just you and me, and I've got nothing but time. And so long as you're tied up like that, so do you." he threatened, going so far as to slip two fingers inside of her

Hotsuma continued trying to push himself up, his strength still incredibly lacking but managing to get on all fours. His chest rose and fell heavily, the effort alone enough to make him winded. His vision still swam a bit from the kick, but he wasn't going to sit idly by and let him do as pleased! And if anything...It was starting to piss him off, because he'd caught more than one Sector pig pulling this kind of shit.

And eventually, he managed to get to his feet...And what came next would likely surprise both of them, even if only slightly.

"Get away from her!"

Hotsuma knew he had no real power here, so instead he literally just threw all of his dead weight at the sick bastard. A loud 'Oomph' echoed throughout the room as their bodies collided, a tell-tale clinging being that of the knife as it went skidding from his hand. Hotsuma tried to weakly grab Tokumo, his fingers barely curling around his throat when he felt a dark power from within the man. Their struggle lasting for a few seconds as he tried to do everything he could to keep this bastard from touching Yuna anymore.

'The hell...'

A powerful directed blast, however, interrupted his train of thought. The force made him fly through the opposite wall, the material crumbling on top of him. And when he stirred, Hotsuma heard the Emperor speak in that same static-y voice, one word coming through clearly:

'Con...ness..Neosphere

At first, Hotsuma didn't quite know what to make of that...But that dark surge he felt when he touched Tokumo was almost the same as when he would shift. And it was here that he put it together.

"Yuna...He...made contract...Darkness Neosphere..." he breathed out, his body slumping as the last of his energy made his voice fail him.

Tokumo, having stood up by this point, brushed himself off and retrieved, stating gruffly "Boy, you are really becoming a nuisance." Turning and giving Yuna a grin, "Guess the cat's out of the bag though...Your little boytoy is right, at least. I've made a pact of my own, and as you can see...I'm more than a match for one such as the Emperor now."

Grinning even more as he went right back to what he was doing before, "And...I'm willing to bet even dear Aki won't be able to match me. But in case she does try to interrupt...How about I just go right for the main course? After all, I could hear the two of you each time you bedded each other. Along with half of Arcadia, it was almost like you were broadcasting your 'availability'."

"No, actually. That is what's called an observation. If I really wanted to insult you, I'd actually try." Yuna shrugged her shoulders as best as she could, wincing slightly as the healed cuts and lacerations stung from the sudden movements, as well as lack of medicine. "You did something they typically do, or so the lore surrounding them goes, so I did a compare and contrast sorta thing. Fuck if I understand how you got into Divine's inner circle or whatever bullshit he wants to say it is. Here's a heads-up insult; I'm shocked because you don't fucking deserve anything; your powers, your deck, even just the ability to be here. I doubt your powers were natural, too. They were likely given by Divine or Aki, if not both. You literally, truly are as I thought and assumed; nothing!"

The tiniest surge of power flooded through Yuna as her body tried to force the change to occur. Though it didn't physically happen, it most definitely didn't stop Rose's voice from briefly fusing in with Yuna's.

"Oi! Get your hands off me! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

As her crotch was forcefully exposed, Yuna felt her face almost instantaneously become hotter. Mortified, and incredibly embarrassed. Angry noises - ranging from growls, whimpers, to even just muffled curses - repeatedly passed her lips as Yuna jerked roughly, trying to pull her legs back apart. She had been hoping the earlier implication about the staff being incapacitated had been but a bluff. Now, though, Yuna was starting to believe that may be true. And frankly, that scared her.

Does that mean ... Aki's my best bet?

Probably. Assuming she was better than the other doctors.

So then ... just hold out until she finds you?

In concept, it sounded easy. But truthfully, it was anything but that. Yuna was already beginning to feel weaker each time a struggle failed. The restraints on her wrists were definitely not helping out; not one bit. And ... how long had it been since Tokumo waltzed into her and Hotsuma's room? Ten minutes? Maybe a bit less?

"Hotsuma?!"

Her head lifted, the weak "Oomph" managing to drag her away from her thoughts as she saw her lover had mustered enough strength to slam his entire weight against Tokumo. It wasn't much for a reprieve ... but it was something. Enough for Yuna to re-close her legs and turn her head. Slowly, she began attempting to bite at the hemp keeping her bound, figuring that until Aki arrived - if she even did - getting a head start would be for the best.

"Figures," Yuna bitterly murmured whilst still working on the rope, nodding and acknowledging she heard Hotsuma revealing the very secret she'd sensed and detected earlier. "Of course he can't do anything on his own. Noooo. Had to resort to using a demon. Hmph."

Yuna panted, scoffing as her head plopped back down on the pillow. Her wrists were beginning to ache, the pain getting worse now that the lack of pain killers was registering to her body. Still, she didn't just give up either. No matter how hard or often her body was shaking, the young leader was doing her best her foe from getting any immediate - or at least easy - access to her most intimate areas. "You may as well get the knife and heed my earlier words; because you're really not going to get any second of pleasure from this. Last chance to give you a warning before you waste your time and effort."

Hotsuma's body barely twitched as his consciousness faded; in truth, it was a wonder he was even still alive with how much punishment he'd endured. But as long as Yuna was in danger, he wasn't going to just lay there willingly.

"Emperor...Come on, this sick fuck's going to do something to Yuna!"

...

And again, nothing but static...And try as he might to move, he was simply unable to do so. He could hardly even see or hear, let alone try and intervene again on his lover's behalf. Which meant he would have to just lay there...And stew as this perverted fuck did god-knows-what to Yuna.

And Yuna's comment about his ineptitude without assistance definitely got under his skin. Enough to the point where he brought out the knife again...And jammed it right into her shoulder, barely missing the axillary artery and striking her main muscle. A wound that was grievous, but not completely fatal.

"How's that, you mouthy little bitch!?" he snarled, literally twisting the knife and making it dig around inside her, crimson seeping up from the incision and running down her skin. "Did this take a demon? No, this is all me, Yuna! And I can do so much worse, so I highly suggest you watch your tone." Withdrawing the blade, and being incredibly slow in doing so, he would tease her again by licking the side.

Going back to her front, he would undo his robe before going to wrench her legs open once more. Letting her see his completely naked figure, as if he had come this way just to be ready with her. "But I will get pleasure out of this, Yuna; the REAL question is if you will or not. I personally don't care either way...After all, you and I both know how this is going to play out."

His manhood was already erect, quite eager to plunder the hole that Hotsuma had stolen from him...Well now, he was going to make her his! Even if he had to use every last bit of force to make it happen!

"Are you ready, Yuna?! This is where I make you mine!"

She knew the smirk that spread over her face was very risk and even more misplaced. But the hell with everything; this building, what was about to happen, and the pathetic excuse of a 'man' hovering over her. The dagger really was a bluff, for the most part. Yuna didn't doubt he wouldn't use it; but it wouldn't be anywhere lethal. Not unless he wanted to test himself and his speed ... but nah. He didn't seem like the type that would take that kind of risk. If anything, he wanted to indulge, and be slow in this. That was what the expression in his eyes and body language all but implied, anyway.

"AHHHHHHH!!!"

Alas, the difference in knowing he could use it and expecting him to was huge. Since Yuna didn't honoestly think he'd follow through with the latter ... it took her off guard, and further amplified the pained scream. Her entire right shoulder spasmed violently, the muscles twitching every few seconds as a pool of blood began forming on her sheets. The removed IVs made each second the blade stayed buried in her flesh that much worse, that much more painful, and her tears sting her eyes more.

"You son of a bitch!" Yuna half-whimpered and half-whispered, panting frantic breaths through her nose. Her body stayed still, as it first looked like Tokumo was going to keep the weapon in place. And a good part of her wished that had been what he ended up deciding to go along with.

"MMMMMM FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"

Hotsuma! I don't know if I can hold on! I feel like I wanna faint ... if not worse ...

Given the state she had just come out of, there was such a thing. It wasn't easy to envision or imagine, but it was most definitely a possibility all the same. Weak groans would be the only reply Tokumo would get as Yuna's eyes started to open and close. A new series of REM cycles

Her first sign, in all honesty, had been when the room both Yuna and Hotsuma were sleeping in felt ... odd. Foreign. Different, even. There was literally nothing; no aura of any kind. Good, bad, or otherwise. And that had been what made her get up and begin taking the elevator down to the halls of the infirmary.

Any extra proof came when she saw the numerous bodies. Most were unconscious, thankfully, but there were a few unfortunate doctors who had been outright murdered.

Now, the tell-tale scream she recognized as Yuna helped her run down the halls, stopping outside the room. She didn't need to look in; the voice that she could make out was all Aki needed in order to know what to do.

"Normally, they say third time's a charm. For you, Tokumo-kun, that will not exist."

A quick movement of her hand later and even Hotsuma - despite being in an awkward position on the floor - could see the rose tattoo appear on Tokumo's face.

"Unfortunately for you, whatever deal you made to obtain this power works for psychic energies. What I do with things on my disk, however, is not the exact same thing. It may be fueled by it, yes. But you didn't have it go so far as to affect our own technology, it seems."

Knowing she was in no peril, Aki took her own turn to go a bit slow. Not too much, though, seeing as the couple would need to be patched up pretty damn quick. But enough to force Tokumo to wait, to simply guess on what would end up happening.

It may have been easy enough to determine.

But by this point, Aki didn't care.

"Yuna felt the effects of this very card the first time around. Hotsuma was the second. But now .... it will be you who gets to see how truly devastating Mark of the Rose can actually be. Drop the knife, Tokumo."

The weapon wouldn't even hit the floor. Before it could, Aki's right hand extended and quickly grabbed it, gripping it tightly.

"You killed Jun, didn't you? Take three steps back."

The moment Aki heard the forced confession and saw him comply, she nodded. "We figured as much. Now that the mystery has been officially solved though ... "

Anyone watching would miss the next few seconds, lest one managed not to blink. One ... two ... three stabs in the dead center of his stomach. Even if Aki had missed the heart, she made sure to get every other organ in reach. Definitely one lung if not both, numerous capillaries, tendons, ligaments, and that wasn't all of the damage. Any bones or ribs that were protecting Tokumo were definitely pierced ... with some of the most lethal accuracy. And no doubt from one of the last people anyone would have assumed capable of murder, even with a perfectly justified reason.

"Burn in hell, you fucker!" Aki murmured, literally spitting on his body as it slumped down to the ground, the blade remaining firmly implanted in his midsection.

"Hotsuma? You think you can wait a bit? Yuna's bleeding pretty badly and ... until a professional comes in, I need to make it stop."

Tokumo grinned malevolently as she screamed, "Oh yes, dear, that suits so much better! Scream more!" It really was an orgasmic sensation, hearing the vibrations of her screams resonate through his body. Oh yes, this was even better than he'd hoped! And to think he was just getting started!

He could hear Yuna's screams to Hotsuma, the boy laying unconscious, and he just grinned "Hotsuma can't help you, Yuna...He's nothing less than useless to you now, and no one is here to save you!" However, he had no idea what was coming down the pipe...or rather who. And just what was falling towards him, talons sharp and ready to steal him away.

His body froze as he heard a familiar voice, one that he was sure he would be able to counteract...And then he felt it. Even stronger than before, that familiar burning on his left cheek. But then it spread, sending fire through his body as her Mark seized complete control. Himself awake and alive while the possession happened.

"H-how....You shouldn't...." Tokumo stammered, trying to resist; how was this possible!? Psychics shouldn't have been able to manifest their abilities when he was like this! But then he heard her command, his fingers loosening from the blood-stained weapon before feeling it be taken from him. His blood ran like ice as she then commanded him to take a step back; there was nothing he could do, even as he tried to resist answering her question.

'Y-yes...I kill...I killed him...Bitch!'

He knew he was sunk now, and that wasn't all. Sharp pains ripped through him, Aki's Psychic energies shattering through him as his own knife penetrated him. Feeling his organs burst, one by one, his bones break apart before her attacks subsided, leaving him wheezing and shaking before his influence fell away. Letting Hotsuma and Yuna breathe more easily, especially the former.

Hotsuma took a sharp breath, his chest rising and falling as he felt energy rush into him, likely his alter ego. 'Ma-make sure she's alright...I'll be good' he whispered hoarsely, coughing every now and again as he tried to push himself up.

"Boy...Let me assume control...Neosphere needs to be taught a lesson in respect"

Hotsuma didn't even fight it this time, letting the Emperor fully take over...That gleaming purple metallic plating springing to life as he would go over to Tokumo's barely-alive body. Kneeling over the weakened and paining male, the Emperor raised his right arm...And slowly began to unbuckle the armor.

"Neosphere...Your host is defeated." he said, undoing one strap of the bracer, adding "I will give you one chance to hand yourself over peacefully" And right as he finished that sentence, the bracer came off...Revealing the Emperor's right forearm bleeding black blood...Or at least that was what it looked like.

"You know who I am...You know this power all too well. Even a beast of the darkness such as you is not immune, and you know it does NOT take resistance kindly." he explained verbally after seeing Neosphere stay silent, the tides of black ooze beginning to shiver and pulse before they seemed to come to life, wrapping around Tokumo's form before three tendrils of the dark mass would penetrate Aki's stab wounds.

Tokumo weakly screamed, writhing ever so slightly as the Emperor's influence began to overtake him. Whatever Neosphere's complaints were, it would seem neither of them would be able to enjoy the fruits of their contract...However, once Neosphere had been all but taken, Tokumo would find his body somewhat rejuvenated. Not enough for him to be anywhere near mobile...But enough to where the momentary numbess had vanished...Meaning he could feel everything, and be alive long enough for the end he wouldn't see coming.

"Why..." he choked, the Emperor replying as he stood back up, the black tendrils covering the exposed limb once more with the metal plate, "Because...Much as I would love to wring the life out of you as you are now, this is not my bid for vengeance. I don't personally care that you harmed my vessel; I care only that another demon is trying to encroach on MY domain, and that you're aiding and abetting that beast. But now that Neosphere is mine...I'll leave your ultimate fate to the woman you were about to assault."

And right as he finished saying this, the Emperor released control, Hotsuma slumping to the floor once more right as other medical and security staff rushed in. The doctors that Tokumo had killed were taken away, and those that regained consciousness began going to the other rooms. Most, however, would rush right towards Yuna and Aki...Effectively taking over where she'd done a decent job in stemming blood loss, as well as security personnel addressing Aki to get more information on the issue.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DAMNIT, URGH! GET AWAY FROM ME!"

Yuna's fists tightly clenched, her teeth biting again into her lower lip. This time, though, it broke through and drew a bit of blood. Much as she tried to hide it, her body shuddered and shook.

Goddamnit. God-fucking-damnit! This is ... really gonna happen?!

It seemed as much, and made the rest of the tears Yuna had been desperately trying to hold back freely fall down her face. Her eyes tightly closed, as she seemed to resign herself to her fate. This bastard was going to get exactly what he wanted, even though he definitely didn't deserve to have sex with her.

It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not FAIR! DAMNIT!

... When the feeling of her lower lips being spread by Tokumo's shaft didn't register, Yuna slowly began to open her eyes. Did he change his mind?

... Who are you kidding? This is Tokumo; he's not gonna do that.

So ... what had happened?

A long sigh of relief resounded from Yuna as she saw Aki behind Tokumo. "Oh thank fucking god," she muttered, rapidly breathing, switching if it was through her nose or mouth. "Thank you. Thank you, Aki, I really ---"

Anything after that vanished from Yuna's train of thought. Her eyes widened as she watched Aki stab Tokumo once ... twice ... thrice. All without much of a second thought.

"He deserved it, Mistress. He's too dangerous to spare, anyway."

R-Rose? You're okay?

"Of course. I was just ... prevented from really speaking with you. Now that he's dying, though, the powers have drastically weakened, as has Tokumo himself. The pact is more or less broken, and I can emerge if you so desire."

... Emerge? For what?

As if on cue, the Emperor declared he would leave what ended up happening to Tokumo's life up to Yuna. Her head quickly moved from side to side, "Nu-uh! No! I -- not like that! It'd be in cold blood!"

Killing in self-defense was one thing, but .... this wasn't what it would be classified. Not to Yuna, anyway.

"Let me do it, Mistress. If he pulls through, he'll hunt you down."

So? I'll be outta here by then. No, Rose. No need to. I can't imagine he'll pull through.

"And if he does?!"

Rose, please no! Do you not understand?! It may be you who kills him, but it'll still be in my body! Please don't!

It would have been simple for Rose to argue she could have changed forms, thus making it her appearance and not Yuna's. Even still ... the spirit knew its owner was otherwise right. And before she could muster the last bits of courage to take control anyway, the doctors rushed in. One of the ones overlooking Tokumo knelt down, placed two fingers on his right wrist, and shook her head from side to side. "He's dead," she stated in a matter-of-fact voice.

"Hmph. Be grateful for that declaration. Very well. I'll get some rest then; I suggest you do the same soon enough."

No sooner than Rose uttered those words did Yuna merely lay on her bed, panting and breathing heavily.

Oh no! Not again! I ... I ...

"Yuna? Yuna?"

As her body gradually began comprehending a soft, feminine voice, her hazel eyes began to flutter once more. An exhausted but still very conscious Aki was sitting beside her. "Don't worry," she reassured Yuna, "It wasn't for that long this time around. Only a few hours. But you did pass out again."

Yuna grimaced, feeling irked about hearing that news. She'd never had an issue with passing out before; where the fuck had that come from, besides out of left field? "I see," she weakly replied. "I ... really. Th -- "

Aki moved her head from side to side. "I've had the green light to do that for a while. Just no reason. I'd suggest thanking him but ... well ... his body is being dealt with at the moment. Probably burned ...I know not and, frankly, don't care. The moment Hotsuma wakes up, you two can leave if you both feel well enough. Otherwise, it's advised to wait a bit longer."

Tilting her head, Yuna saw Hotsuma had been put back into his bed. Like herself, the IVs were re-inserted into his own flesh. He was asleep; or at least that was what it looked like from Yuna's angle. So unless he was simply feigning sleep, that was what Yuna was otherwise seeing. " ... Alright. I hate it, but I get the feeling we're gonna wait a bit more since our rest was ... interrupted." Slowly, the black-haired duelist began to shut her eyes. Yet, her ears remained alert, ready to react if she heard Hotsuma speak up quick enough.

Otherwise, she would give in and go back to sleep a third time.

At least in this instance, it wouldn't be from fainting or passing out, which was a blessing in its own regards. All the same, it was annoying for Yuna to sleep so many times in such a short time span.

Hotsuma was indeed knocked out, the IVs in his arm slowly dosing his body with medications to let him heal once more. Given his surge he somehow managed to call forth to get that creep away from Yuna, if only for a few moments, he was understandably exhausted and beaten. Especially with him having been literally thrown through a wall into the adjacent room, it was a wonder he wasn't more beat up.

Still...He slept soundly, but his mind was still active...Within his own head, he found a version of himself floating through empty space. Dressed as he was in the real world, but soon found himself standing before the Emperor.

"The hell is this..." Hotsuma muttered, the Emperor laughing "I don't know myself...We're not in the physical world, if that's what you're wondering. But I suppose this is fortuitous. You should see what our combined efforts have yielded." At this, the Emperor's body seemed to glow and pulse, black waves rolling off his body before an aura that looked just like Darkness Neosphere. "Ok so...You, what, absorbed the guy or something?" The Emperor sneered, "It is much more than simple absorption, whelp. I have taken Neosphere completely. The beast's essence, soul and conscience are mine to command...If anything you should take a look at your right arm."

Hotsuma did so, seeing a dark blotch sitting in the middle of his forearm. "The fuck, when did that get there?" The Emperor just replied "Our bond grows stronger by the hour...The power that allowed me to take Neosphere was called forth because you wanted it to. Even if you might not have realized it."

Hotsuma, of course, was still confused, the Emperor adding "Our beings are becoming closer to being synonymous with each other. I will be you and you will be me...And our power will be unrivaled." Hotsuma just waved his hand, "I don't care about power. I just want Sector gone, living in Satellite's hard enough."

At this, if Hotsuma could see the Emperor's mouth, it would be a sinister grin. "And I'm giving you quite a large hint...But perhaps your reckless behavior is making your brain slower than usual." Hotsuma just shrugged, getting a bit annoyed with the Emperor's cryptic talk, "Whatever, can this just be over? Much as I thank you for stopping Tokumo, I do need to rest."

And with that, he turned to walk away...But not before pausing and saying "Still...Thanks. Even if you didn't intend to save her, you did." And the Emperor remained silent as his host's thought-form faded, the world falling to black as true slumber resumed

And as night fell, their bodies would recuperate from their injuries; Hotsuma and Yuna were given a fresh set of bandages, and the latter's stab wound was properly redressed after checking to make sure the stitches still possessed their integrity. Thankfully, they were self-dissolving sutures since they were to return to Satellite.

"Are you sure you two don't want to stay another night? You've been through so much." asked a doctor, making Hotsuma crack a smile and replying "Thanks but no thanks...We really, really need to get back." The doctor just nodded, "Of course...Be well you two."

And with that, the duo would ride the elevator to the top of the building. "Good god...We're finally leaving. Can't even imagine what the others are thinking; let's just hope they don't have the impression we abandoned them." he said to his partner in crime, letting the cart carry them up higher and higher...Before long arriving on Divine's office floor.

Who they happened to run into as soon they would step out, a familiar redhead at his side. "Well now...I was honestly expecting you both to want to rest more, but I suppose there's none for the wicked." And with that, he would hold out two leather holders, the clasp undone to reveal their prize:

Beelze...At long last.

"And because of Tokumo's...actions...I hope you don't mind that I've added an additional copy to each one." Divine then stated matter-of-factly, Hotsuma letting out a 'Hmph' as he took one, "Don't think I'm grateful; that sick fucker nearly raped Yuna. If Aki hadn't stepped in..." At this he paused, his hands clenching the pack before taking a deep breath and staring Divine right in the face.

"As far as I'm concerned...Everything you've done has been nothing but one fuck-up after the other. And you hide behind bullshit excuses everytime something doesn't work out!" Hotsuma then shouted, hate in every syllable. Divine seemed a bit taken aback by the outburst but just held a neutral expression, "Even your contracts? Those seem to work well enough to me." At this Hotsuma just pointed at himself and Yuna, "Only because we busted our asses to make them work!"

He would eventually calm himself though, feeling his body tremble; god the urge to punch this dick in the face was unbearable! "Well...If there's nothing else, then I suppose this is goodbye. You'll find your D-Wheelers in the lowest sublevels; the guards will open the doors to let you both out into the streets." Divine then replied, holding a hand out as if to offer a formal goodbye. Hotsuma just stared at it for a moment, but just turned his attention to Aki.

"I do...owe you thanks though. Really, if you hadn't come..."

When Yuna woke up, the very first thing she would notice was her arm in a sling. A precaution, according to the multiple nurses and doctors. She could still drive her D-wheeler, though more caution would be needed should she actually choose to steer with only one hand. It was because of that possibility that they recommended somehow towing hers while riding with Hotsuma. But, in the end, they were leaving that end verdict up to her.

"I see. Thank you."

Yuna waited for everyone to leave before getting changed into her casual outfit. Hotsuma had already finished with that and, frankly, she didn't wanna take too long nor make him wait forever. All things considered, Yuna succeeded in her endeavor rather quickly.

.... Although it wouldn't be without uneasy feelings. Her head whipped around not once, but a few times. She had almost sworn a presence was nearby. Watching her ... but that couldn't be whom she originally assumed. No, Yuna had watched that fucker die.

So ... someone else?

... In the end, she decided as long as nothing happened, it didn't matter. Thus, even though the feelings made her a bit nervous, Yuna otherwise ignored them. Soon, her feet guided the duelist - seemingly on their own - out of the room and found Hotsuma patiently waiting. The two entered the elevator together. At first, neither said anything. t would be Hotsuma that broke the silence. Yuna smiled happily, eager and content to hear those three words.

"We're finally leaving."

"Yeah," Yuna agreed, eliciting a relieved sigh as she leaned against the railing behind her. "Finally in-fucking-deed. When we do get back ... I think I'll finally be able to give you the pendant back. I'd say you've earned it now. I'm just making damn sure - for now - that's a wise choice."

... It couldn't have only been Aki who greeted us? Damnit ...

Her eyes rolled as Divine greeted them with what she was almost positive to be the lamest set of words. "Us? Wicked? Hmph. Hardly. Not even by Sector's standards, I doubt."

Yuna would have been perfectly fine had Divine simply handed over the Beelze cards. But ... no. He couldn't just do that, of course. No, the idiot had to try to be elegant, poignant, some bullshit like that, and add very unneeded words.

" ... Do you think we give a fuck about an extra one being put in? Let alone for that reason? Jesus, dude. You legit need to learn when to shut up. How are you the leader, anyway? As far as I'm concerned, this place should be Aki's, not yours. She's got her role and dueling all down pretty fucking well; way more than you."

Even though she could have gone on and on ... there was no point. Besides, Hotsuma was saying anything else Yuna otherwise would have made sure to tell Divine. "He's right, you know. You have been doing exactly that. But ... whatever. All that's done is done. Good riddance."

Gripping her holder and tightly clenching it in her left hand, Yuna began walking towards the sublevels ... only to stop and look back at Aki.

" .... Yeah. I ... thanks, Aki."

The truth was, the sensation Yuna had felt earlier while getting changed had been Aki. She didn't really understand it herself, but she felt compelled to watch Yuna from a distance. She could have gotten closer and known Yuna would have been perfectly fine and safe if Aki showed herself. But ... something held her back. And now, that same unknown factor was making Aki feel .... weird. It was .... difficult to explain.

All she knew was looking into Yuna's hazel eyes was very hard for the red-head to do. It was even more tempting to latch onto Yuna's arm and beg her not to go.

... But she couldn't. Nor would she resort to that. Yuna had beaten her, fair and square, and thus won her freedom. Yet, that wasn't all that was bothering the natural Psychic; she just wasn't understanding a large majority of everything racing through her head. "Of course," she managed to answer, keeping her voice in the typical, calm tone. "It really was no trouble. Yuna?"

What have you done to me?

Much like how both of their spirit forms kept certain thoughts hidden, Aki blocked that one out from everyone. She couldn't find it in her to ask that question; definitely not in front of Divine, and even less in front of Hotsuma. So instead, she came up with something else the raven-haired teen was owed. "I never did get to tell you this due to unfortunate circumstances, but ... there was something unique found in your blood tests. It's ... literally nothing any doctor has found before. But ... I'm wondering if that may have contributed to your coma and passing out episodes."

If Yuna was going to leave, so be it. But Aki felt obligated to inform her of that very vital bit of information.

Indeed, the news made Yuna frown slightly. "Unknown, huh? Story of my fucking life. Of course I get some unknown sickness or whatever." An irked sigh passed her lips before she started to shrug, but quickly stopped herself the moment Yuna's body made her remember her right shoulder was healing up. " ... Hmm. I mean, if none of your people could place a name or exact status on this condition, I doubt I'll be able to get helped for it. But ... thanks for the heads-up. I definitely appreciate that."

"No problem. Take care ... both of you."

Offering Hotsuma and Yuna a wave, Aki pivoted on her feet and began walking quickly to her room. Good-byes had never bothered her before. But for some reason, this was damn well nearly killing her. She couldn't be around Yuna - or any of them really. When was the last time she felt this weak and frustrated? To a point where she cried because of these same emotions? Probably years. Either way, she didn't want anyone seeing her eyes start becoming moist, nor the drops begin to stream down her face as she made her exit.

Though Yuna couldn't deny she was curious about noting Aki's suddenly abrupt and very hasty nature, this wasn't the moment to dwell on it. Her head merely turned back around as she resumed walking to her destination, letting out a happy giggle as her D-Wheeler came back into view after the couple was let in by the same guards Divine spoke of.

"Fuck and yeah! God, I almost forgot what it looked like! So ... how do we wanna do this, exactly? Driving with one hand isn't usually a smart thing to do, but ... I don't think we have any of our towing devices. I don't, anyway."

Hotsuma just grinned as Yuna laid into Divine too; served this fucker right, with how much shit they put them through, this place could burn to the ground for all he cared. The only person he'd really feel bad about losing was Aki, but even then that wouldn't be too much of a loss...With all the shit she did not just to him, but to Yuna.

So much so that he didn't even bother acknowledging whatever Aki might have been feeling; he was so focused on getting out of here that he just went straight down. Grinning as Yuna reacted excitedly to see their D-Wheelers. He wouldn't bring up what he did hear; if she ever did fall ill, Satellite and Yomi had their fair share of places she could be taken...Of course, he just hoped they would be able to help her.

But they couldn't worry about that now; he needed to make good on his promise to get them both out of here.

"Ideally, you'd ride with me; because you're right, driving with one hand isn't exactly smart. Especially if we happen to run into our favorite group of people." Hotsuma replied, one of the guards adding, "We have a tow cable you can use; just make sure you go slow, otherwise the cable might come unlatched." The Disciples' boss added, "Yeah, sounds good...Thanks."

And with the two of them hooked up, and Hotsuma helping Yuna onto the bike, the two would be let out onto the street...A door opening from an underground parking entrance, finally free. Finally able to actually feel the fresh breeze against his skin, the wind fluttering his jacket.

"Ahh...Smell that, Yuna? It's freedom...We're out of here, and we're not coming back to this shithole any time soon." he grinned, revving the engine and taking off down the road. Not so fast that it would jar his lover, but fast enough so that they would have a good pace set to make their trip home as short as possible. As they rode, he would then ask, "I know this isn't the best time...But I wonder, how you gonna break it to everyone? About you being Yuna, I mean? I mean, whatever you choose, I'll stand by you...But I think with everything that's happened, might be time to wipe the slate clean, you know?"

And a short while later, their ride into Satellite had them busting out of the pipeline entrance; thankfully, no Sector goons were there at this time. Must have been the middle of a rotation or something...Not that it mattered, because minutes later, they would arrive back at the abandoned warehouse that was Yomi. He would circle a few times first, just to make sure Goodwin's 'men in blue' weren't watching the place.

"Hot shit...Feels like forever since we've been back. Let's just hope the place didn't fall apart." he whispered, killing the engines after parking the bikes back in their usual spot. "Man...We need to be careful, no doubt our guys will be on edge. We did hammer some sense into them, enough to be wary if anyone went missing."

Slowly making his way up to the slab of corrugated metal, Hotsuma would knock that secret knock, the door rattling a bit as he made his presence known. If one listened closely enough, they would hear the tell-tale clicks of weapons being loaded. Even more apparent in the dead of night, it was clear they had their guard rotations set.

Letting out a small sigh, he then said, "Well...Let's just hope that no one's around to hear this."

It wasn't something he liked using; but in these circumstances, there was no other option. "Hang on..." he muttered to his partner, he then said to his partner,

"The cup overflows with the blood of our kin, for we protect that which is most sacred."

And once he said that, there were hushed ramblings and scurried movements, even a noticeable voice as the doors were undone. Soon enough, he saw a pair of eyes peek under the door...And Yamichi's voice broke out, "Shit, it's Sosuke and Yukio! Get them in here now!" And when the doors were opened, Yuna and Hotsuma were let inside...Back inside friendly territory, and being death-hugged by Yamichi, who was clearly relieved by the boss' return.

"Sosuke, shit man, what happened!?" he then heard Takeshi ask, Hotsuma replying, "I wouldn't even know where to begin, man...It's been a rough couple of weeks."

Yuna merely groaned at the thought of running into Sector. "I swear, if they really try to pull anything ... I'm gonna start wondering if we pissed off some god or whatever. Really though, I'm sorta hoping to avoid trouble, for once. I've had more than enough the past few weeks. You have too, yeah?"

Hopefully he'd agree with that and simply speed away from them should those fuckers try to appear out of literally nowhere.

Rather than panicking about that what-if, she listened to Hotsuma's agreement on how they would get back. She only needed to really hear the reply that she should indeed go with him. Yet, half-way through her movements, she damn well nearly stopped. Normally, Hotsuma did have a tow cable. But ... he hadn't brought it. Not for that last mission. They had been ambushed, for once. Let alone taken to a place where they wouldn't have normally needed such a device."

A relieved sigh passed her lips as the guards gave them one to make up for Hotsuma not having his with him.

"Thank you," Yuna stated, bowing her head before getting on Hotsuma's bike and wrapping her left arm around his waist, adding a bit more strength since her right was still in the sling. And, according to the doctors, it'd be best to leave it there for at least three more days, if not a week.

"Mhm. I've never been so happy to be out in the roads or streets before. Holy fuck, this feels great."

Her head fell upon Hotsuma's back as she steadily began to relax and calm her body down. Finally, there would be no more worries about unneeded agony, let alone in any form or fashions. No more risk of torture, rape, none of that. She could be back in their haven, their sanctuary. And god was she ready to see everyone!

.... Or .... was she?

The timing was definitely crappy. Unfortunately, Hotsuma had a good point. How should she bring up that Yukio had always been a woman?

" .... I guess .... I'll just need to be honest from the get-go. No sense in bullshitting them about it. From there ... we'll see how many it bothers, I guess. I'll either lose half or more of my supporters, or they'll stay."

Within minutes, the two found themselves back in front of the hideout. Yuna swallowed, slowly getting off Hotsuma's D-Wheeler as she walked up with him. She had a speech already rather firmly implanted into her mind. It was saying it that would be the hardest part ... which was exactly why she wanted to hurry up and get inside. Except, it obviously wouldn't be that easy, proven by the sounds of guns being loaded and cocked behind the door.

Still, it made her smirk.

"You taught them really well, I see. Now what, though?"

Thankfully, he had his own code. That was what she assumed the odd, religious sounding words were, anyway.

... Yep. They were. Otherwise, the door wouldn't have opened. They would definitely have been shot. "Hey, Yamichi. Excuse me. I'm gonna let you all catch up. I ... have some news about Yukio for the others."

Now that they were no longer in the dark, Yamichi and Takeshi would realize they had seen Sosuke - Hotsuma, technically - beside a woman, not a man.

Moving her tongue over her lips, she then let out a long, loud whistle.

Not even a full minute passed by before Hajime bolted down the stairs. "Yuki --- ohhh?"

A knowing smirk crossed Yuna's face as she looked right into her right-hand man's eyes. "Get the others. I want everyone to be around when I relay this news."

"R-Right. Okay, okay ... " Hajime's head tilted as he tried to do a double take. But that glare ... he knew that expression! Even as he turned and began gathering the others, Yuna could practically hear the gears turning in his head. He had figured it out, or at least she was pretty sure that was the case. So now, it would boil down to how everyone else would handle this revelation.

"Hey, Yamichi...It's alright, bud. I'm back, and not going anywhere just yet." Hotsuma tried to console the clearly over-anxious tech, only receiving a slug in the shoulder as a reply. "You dick, you couldn't find some way to contact us!? Eleven days, Sosuke....Eleven fucking days! We thought...We thought..."

It was here that Takeshi stepped in, "He means we're glad you're back, boss...But still, I kind of share his view. Things were tense with you and Yukio gone..."

However, things kind of escalated as the light more clearly showed features of Yukio that no one had seen before...Gone was the hardened face they knew. Even though nothing much had really changed physically about Yuna, something about her seemed off.

Even to where people started talking...Much as Yuna would have suspected they would.

"Hey, wait a minute..."

"That's not Yukio! That's a fucking girl!"

"Who the fuck is that?! A Sector spy!?"

Almost immediately after Hajime had left this little struggle broke out, Takeshi and some of the other Disciples getting more and more pissed...Unless a hard right hook laid the brown-haired male on his back, a low pained groan left. Hotsuma's arm stayed extended for a moment before flexing his fingers and retracting the limb, his underlings and some of the resident mainstayers of Yomi staring at him in shock.

"I've had enough of that shit...And I'm sure as hell not taking it from my own guys!"

Needless to say, Hotsuma had rarely raised a hand against his own...So for him to do so, and without any provocation against him, was definitely a surprise. Yamichi just stared open-mouthed, trying to form words but them failing him; what the hell was going on, even he had no idea...

Sosuke had a reason for doing that, right? RIGHT?!

"Oi, listen up now...My friend here's got something to say, people." the Disciples' boss started off, letting all the attention focus on him for a moment before continuing, "And whatever might come of it, I don't want any flak whatso-fucking-ever! Just listen until the end, that's all I ask. And if ANY of you try anything stupid, you're going to be on the receiving end of a severe asskicking! Got it?!" Hotsuma challenged; no one there was really keen on fighting him. Most just looked confused as to why he would make such a statement.

And it was here that Hotsuma would stand down...And let Yuna make her identity known, if she so chose.

As quickly as he'd left, Hajime soon returned with the almost three dozen other members behind him. The almost exact same confused and angry replies echoed from the others, some being voiced in the form of insults and others in what Yuna could only classify as "inappropriate types of praise".

"Ummm ... the fuck?"

"Hot but .... that's definitely not Yukio."

"Why do we gotta listen to this chick exactly?"

Many heads turned as Sosuke - to them, that was who he was - hinted this woman actually had something to say. So apparently Hajime hadn't been lying when he mentioned there was a female who wanted to say something involving Yukio. Most of the figures shrugged, but all laid their eyes upon the foreign figure.

Yuna quietly walked up to the table, lifting her head high. She took a moment to glance down at each and every face, all but a very small handful of them being given very stern, sharp glares. "You know," she spoke, immediately reverting to her male mindset and voice as she spoke, "Your pessimistic attitude is exactly one reason I pretended to be a man. Because you're proving an old theory I've feared for so long; women aren't accepted here nor in the Tops. Not as duelists, not as individuals, not as much of anything or anyone! Just ... simple lays, huh?!"

Eyes widened and faces almost immediately paled. Only Hajime's expression turned to one of relief. Granted, there were still the faintest hints of shock and a small dose of confusion ... but he was otherwise obviously glad to see the leader back and alive.

"Yet ... I understand that, when all is said and done, it doesn't change what I've done. I deceived you all. Including Sosuke and his men. But I want it to be known that I did have full intentions of making this confession. It also would have been a lot sooner, had me and Sosuke not been captured by those Arcadia bastards and were kept there for almost two whole weeks. Because of the fact I made my own error at all, I'm going to offer you all a chance to walk freely away. If you want to turn your back on me, do so now. However ... "

Yuna quickly raised her right index finger up, signaling there was indeed a catch to this deal.

"You will leave with a few things. Your dignity in tact, no ill will or hopes of trying anything stupid against me, and - most importantly - you will take our location to your graves. If I find out anyone who leaves reveals that to Sector or anyone that doesn't need to know, make no mistake. I will come after you personally and remedy that mistake. I won't like it, but I will most definitely do it. Is that clear?!"

Yuna swallowed, seeing everyone reply with quiet, affirmative nods.

... Amazingly, however, the number that did turn their backs wasn't nearly as large as Yuna had inwardly prepared for. Hell, it wasn't even a third, or even one-fifth of the group. Four; that was it. She only lost four from revealing her true identity, which made her smile. If the loss was that low, obviously she'd been doing something right.

"Now ... for a happier note. Consider this your reward for your loyalty; though in truth, you would have gotten this either way. It's just a bonus of sorts."

Yuna grinned as she lowered the leather case down and slowly opened it, revealing the Beelze cards to everyone.

"Oh my god! Yuki -- umm ... "

The words were uttered by Hajime himself, who was helping show off the prizes to the other members.

"Right. I suppose if you're gonna adjust to this new version of me, may as well make the proper introduction to you all. It's Yuna, not Yukio, Takeda. You're welcome, ya brats. I'm only partly kidding. Really though .... I want one last thing clear. Not one day went by that you guys weren't on my mind, along with how to break this news to you. So don't even try to say I'm selifhs or whatever the fuck. And no, I'm not a tsundere, either. Kuu, maybe, but that's very different. Those who've done their homework will know I'm not just making that up."

Sure enough, the joke did earn several chuckles, including Hajime's. Yuna smirked, happily smiling with them before cautiously getting down from the table and walking beside her lover.

Hotsuma kept quiet as Yuna would make herself known, spilling everything about her secret identity to the crowd before. Much like he suspected, there was some backlash from her being a woman.

Should he have been pissed that Yuna didn't tell him? Maybe. But he wasn't, and he was expecting his guys to follow through as well. Unfortunately...One of the newly departed would be one of Sosuke's own men. A white-haired brown-eyed young man named Gin, someone who had come into the group as part of another gang.

"Sosuke...I won't lie man, I'm pissed. If she's this dishonest, what else is she lying about?" Gin asked, to which Hotsuma replied, "She's got damn good reason, that's all I care about. And if you're not cool with her doing that, then...Well, I guess I know where you're going." At this Hotsuma stepped closer, "But know this: What Yuna said applies to you as well. If I find out you ratted our location to Sector, if I even think you betrayed this place..."

And pausing to grip Gin's shirt and yank him closer, he just whispered in Gin's ear, "I will find you, and make no mistake, I will bury you...Understand?" before shoving him back. Gin wiped off his front, "I won't...But be careful of her, Sosuke...Nice rolling with you." And with that, Gin would leave with the other disenfranchised...Leaving Yomi and Hotsuma's crew one person smaller.

"I know that wasn't easy, Yuna...But I think it's for the best that we put everything on the table." he replied, Yamichi and Takeshi both coming forward. "Yuna, huh? Well...Can't say I saw this one coming." replied Takeshi, a stern silence holding between them. Something that had Hotsuma a bit worried, but before long the young man holding a hand of his own and adding "Glad to finally meet the real leader of Yomi. If Sosuke's cool with it, I am too."

Something that made the Disciples' leader sigh in relief, "Hey, Takeshi....Sorry about punching you..." But the guy just waved his hand "Don't worry about it; I wasn't exactly the most accepting at first...I was angry, but after Yuna talked about it, I can see why she did it."

Yamichi nodded, "And don't worry...We're not going anywhere, Yuna. You got our support." Takeshi's attention, however, focused on the cards that Yuna was handing out. "Hey, Yami...Isn't that the card you showed them?" Yamichi's eyes lit up as his eyes went to where his comrade was looking, "No way, you guys got it?!"

At this Hotsuma just grinned, "Hey now, don't I'd forget about you guys. Since you stuck around, you'll get to see what Gin missed out on." At this he pulled out his own leather pouch, showing the mini collection of Beelze cards. "Hot shit...How many are there?" Hotsuma just chuckled, "13...12 if you count the finder's fee I took for the effort." Handing out one to each of his guys, he knew they would be that much stronger.

"I guess you guys are going to hand out the rest to the other gang leaders, Sosuke?" Yamichi then asked, Hotsuma nodding, "Yeah...But hey, look, I don't want you guys calling me Sosuke. Not my name....It's Hotsuma. Hotsuma Oboro." Both Takeshi and Yamichi seemed a bit shocked, but didn't say a word.

Giving his lover a grin as she stood beside him, he just finished with "And trust me...that's the last of secrets. But once we get the other Beelze cards out to the other gangs, you can bet we're going to kick some serious Sector ass."

*Meanwhile, in New Domino*

The arena was alive with activity, spectators packing the stands as eager Duelists fought for the right to call themselves 'Duel King'. And one such obstacle was against none other than the current King, Jack Atlas.

Of course, he didn't get all this way by luck alone; going into his Extra Deck, he pulled out two Dragon cards that held his road to fame: Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend. His two powerhouses that had all but annihilated all competitors before him.

And as his talent would imply, it was none other than the giant red Dragon - the pride of his deck - that would deliver the finishing blow. The other young Duelist had no chance, falling on his ass as his LP dropped to zero.

"The King wins again, folks!"

Jack didn't show a hint of emotion at the crowd's cheering, only straightening the long jacket before making his way off the arena floor. There were still several more Duels before he would compete again...

Unaware of who it was he was going to meet.

Yuna silently stood next to Hotsuma, watching the Disciples and Yomi groups distributed all of the Beelze cards. She had partially expected more to walk out, and Yuan would only be somewhat right. It was only a single person. One of Hotsuma's to be precise. The lack of a distance made it easy for her to hear Gin's thoughts ... and she barely fought off the urge to roll her eyes.

Look here, you little shit. I only lie when fucking absolutely needed. I otherwise take no joy in doing so ..

... But it wasn't one of her men. It was one of Hotsuma's. And if only for that reason, she kept quiet.

A small smirk crossed her face as she heard that her lover would be enforcing the stipulations Yuna gave her own ex-followers. It wasn't too amazing, but it was nice to know they were still on the same page about most issues and thoughts. After all the trials and various forms of torture, she would have understood perfectly if some of Hotsuma's trains of thought had changed in any form or fashion. "Yeah ... trust me. I knew it'd be hard since I took up the persona of Yukio. But fuck, I'm glad I had this talk. It really was something I wanted and needed to do."

Lowering her left hand, Yuna carefully removed the pendant from around her neck and handed it to Hotsuma.

"Here you go. I did promise to hand this back so .... all yours again."

Yuna swallowed softly as both Takeshi and Yamichi walked forth to speak with her. With them being two of Hotusma's closest men, it as a bit more nerve-wracking than when Gin up and left How would these guys take her reveal?

The answer was much better than she would have expected. "Whew ... heh. Thanks, you too. I definitely appreciate the support." Yuna's grin widened as she accepted the handshakes, lowering her hand when each respective gesture ended. "Indeed though. I can safely say we're done with secrets for now."

This wasn't to say she didn't believe in policies such as 'don't ask, don't tell', mind you. There were simply some things Yuna preferred to try to keep discreet. One would be her actual status with Hotsuma. So unless he felt fine revealing they were lovers, no one would hear it from Yuna.

... Except maybe Hajime, if only because she knew she could trust him. Not now though; it most definitely would not be something her blue-haired comrade would hear anytime soon. It would definitely come later.

Jack Atlas; the name was a familiar one, though not at all for the reasons anyone would dare assume or even believe. Although she looked pretty normal for the most part, anyone that knew seventeen-year-old Fayth Milner would know she was anything but a normal teenager. Far from it, to be completely honest.

.... He sounds the same as in our world, though, she mused, noting the way he spoke. Despite her lack of vision - no thanks to the bastards back in her dimension - even Fayth could tell this Jack was very much the same in his own regards. His voice was smug. Confident. He seemed to hold himself in a pretty high standing, or that was the impression she got.

Her head lightly shook. That was neither here nor there at the moment. Right now, she had a far more important priority; she needed to figure a way to speak with him. Preferably alone.

... Of course, trying to do anything aside from dueling with this world's "king" was a much easier said than done task. But that was why she hadn't just lunged forward and offered to fight him. If he took note of her, so be it. She would let Fate bring them together ... at least until she could determine an appropriate course of action to take.

For now, Fayth slowly wove through the crowd, using the announcer's voice to steadily proceed closer and closer to the front of this massive audience.

There was only one time that Jack did pause, and that was when he stepped down from the arena floor to look up at the crowd.

So many people...All here for him. And yet...Somehow it didn't feel like enough. His mind flashed back to the times where he sat in that old theater, on that rotted crumbling throne. His aspirations to be a King...the King.

And while his time here had certainly helped vault him to that position, he still felt like there was more he could do. That he should...Of course, he was cognizant that there were a fair share of Duelists that sought to dethrone him.

And they would fall under the power of his Dragons...Today proved that much.

However, as he started to walk again, his eyes saw someone. Not anyone remotely familiar...And yet he felt something. Like he should know them...And for a few moments, their gazes - not known to him the nature of the watcher's handicap - would meet.

Upon noticing this, one of his detail came forward - a man of medium build with dark black hair dressed in a grey business suit and matching red tie, eyes shaded by dark glasses - and asked "Mr. Atlas, is everything alright?" Jack broke eye contact and just said quietly, "There's a person in a black hooded jacket. When she leaves, tail her and keep me informed." The guard took note of the tone and nodded; that meant he figured this one a suspicious individual and if needed, get rid of them.

And with that concluded, Jack told them would retire to his little retreat away from the arena...Leaving two of his direct 'guards' to deal with this unfamiliar yet familiar face. Unknown to them, he would watch how this person Dueled...Get a better idea of who this individual was.

And once Fayth would be alone, she would find herself confronted by the guards. Both of them already sporting Duel Disks, clearly intent in a two-on-one Duel. "You there...Identify yourself" said the guard on the left, his appearance identical to the one that had talked to Jack prior.

Throughout her life, Fayth had self-taught herself certain rules, if one could call them that. Proverbs, sayings more or less. The moment she was forced into her blinded state, Fayth made damn sure to apply a few more specific ones to her daily life. The primary one that she now always used was the simple fact eyes would always be upon her. The real thing Fayth always had to distinguish was how the stares felt. Ones filled with emotions such as lust or anger were always the worst.

Anything else was tolerable. Usually, anyway.

Even though Fayth was surrounded by tons of other individuals, she felt that one single set of orbs looking directly at her. Her head lifted as she returned the gesture as best as possible. All the while, she tried to pinpoint what emotions the person studying her possessed at that moment.

Nothing. Rather, Fayth couldn't pinpoint those answers out.

Hmmm. Either they're very strong, dangerous, or both...

It was probably C. Anytime answers such as "all of the above" or "none of the above" appeared on tests, they tended to be the correct responses.

Fayth swallowed nervously. Something hinted this staring contest of sorts was happening with a very important person. Ah, if only she knew how accurate and ironic her answer was. It was literally the very individual she had been wanting to speak with.

As quickly as the anxiety flooded the young foreigner, it all left swiftly. Now relief was swarming through every inch and nerve of Fayth's body and muscles. As far as she could discern, who ever had been looking at her had their attention elsewhere. Unfortunately, today hadn't gone exactly as Fayth had desired, which caused her to lightly click her tongue.

"Tomorrow," she simply muttered, turning and walking down an alley that led to her place of residence. "Hmm. I think I better see what Reiji-san meant about maintaining control in and out of duels. You could have gotten what you wanted if -- "

What anyone else would have described as a "barely audible" noise loudly echoed in her ears. Footsteps.

Sure enough, the last shreds of doubt disappeared as an unfamiliar voice abruptly demanded she reveal her name.

"Hmm? And why should I do that? I've done nothing wrong. Or are you about to tell me there's some bullshit curfew now being enforced in the Tops?"

It wasn't only a way to stall. This was Fayth taking heed of the advice Reiji had given her. By taking control of the conversation, she would allow herself to hear what she wanted to. Any answers she got - assuming they spoke back, that was - would help her realize if she was talking with Sector officers or ... other individuals. Normally, Fayth wouldn't hope for the latter.

This time, though, she was definitely making an exception. This would get incredibly ugly if her luck decided to betray her this fast. Fayth was sent simply to deliver messages to very specific people. Nothing more, but certainly nothing less. Either way, Reiji also made it perfectly clear that if Fayth could help it, trouble was to be avoided, not confronted.

Hence why she was hoping these weren't Sector bastards; because it would be laughably simple to go against Reiji's warnings.

"If you must insist, however, what about an exchange? That seems fair enough, don't you agree?"

As Fayth would return their statement with one of her own, both of the men seemed rather non-chalant; in fact, they had expected her to be confrontational to a degree. Of course, neither of them knew exactly what she had endured; and being not Sector, they only quirked their brows as she mentioned a 'curfew'.

Also, her manner of speaking was odd..Almost like she had no idea who she was speaking with. Was she being deliberately daft, or did she think them undercover police or something?

"While there is a curfew in place, it is not our place to enforce it. You have attracted the attention of Jack Atlas, young lady; he gave us clear orders to follow you. And hearing you talk about this Reiji-san and maintaining control, only confirms he was right to be suspicious of you. And whatever your intentions, it was enough to have him send us out to keep a tab on you until such time would be appropriate to confront you."

The other guard chimed in as she spoke of an exchange, "Exchange, you say? I doubt you have anything we could possibly be interested in. Now, you will explain who you are and what you wish with Mr. Atlas...Or suffer defeat by us." However, his friend seemed a little more willing to listen, "Hold on...I get the feeling she doesn't actually want to cause trouble."

Stepping in a little closer, he then asked, "You wish for an exchange, yes? As you might imagine, it takes a lot to attract the attention of the Duel King. Whatever that might mean, if you're willing to divulge your identity and intent, we might be able to see if Mr. Atlas is willing to at least listen to what you have to say."

Jack Atlas, meanwhile, was listening to this exchange from afar; he stayed probably about fifty paces behind his guards. It was true this woman was a strange one; and he wasn't sure why he felt a connection to her. However small it might be, he didb't like leaving things to chance.

Speaking into a small comm device disguised as a cufflink, "Challenge her to a Duel if she doesn't comply, you two; I don't know who she is, but there's something off about her."

... So some sort of martial law is set here?

What other explanation was there for a curfew? Few others were even starting to come to Fayth's mind. By now, she was grimacing slightly. No wonder Reiji had sent her here; things were as bad as he'd hinted. Alas, she couldn't tamper with any of the situations here. Just by simply leaving her dimension and coming here, she was already taking a huge enough risk in itself. Messing with things here would be as intelligent as a complete amateur trying to go back in time and alter history; not at all a good idea. This was essentially one of the very parallel universes she now officially existed in.

The thought of what could end up happening made Fayth shudder slightly.

... Fuck. I must have failed to sense or hear them when I was talking about Reiji. Damn ...

Luckily, it wouldn't mean jack shit to them. Still, that was an issue in itself. "Hmph," she finally murmured, tucking some bright blonde strands of hair away. "So you're bitching at me for mentioning a comrade? Also, can you prove what the mini-rant of control was directed towards? Hmmm? I can say without a shred of doubt it wasn't directed at whatever you guys are thinking. I've got better things to do, and you both probably do as well." If she could have made the gesture, Fayth would have rolled her eyes. with or without the blindfold on.

However, given those were gone, she was forced to do something else ... such as click her tongue in disdain.

"No. I refuse. My identity and intent are mine and mine alone to know. I'm glad to know I easily got the attention of whom I was hoping to seek an audience with. That being said, I will give a few confessions away for free. I do indeed have some things to say to him. That being said, the keyword right there is just that; they are all to be relayed to Jack and no one else. Even if you two could figure a way to defeat me, I wouldn't say anything, including what you so desperately want. So .... I'll make an all or nothing wager. Beat me, and I'll cooperate. If you lose though? Well ... "

Fayth shrugged.

"We won't have much to speak about, will we?"

Her left arm raised as she activated her own duel disk. "He doesn't have to listen, and in truth, a lot of me doesn't expect him to pay heed to it. But that's fine. I'm simply a messenger. Once I relay what I need to, what he does with that knowledge is completely up to him. But I do hope he eventually wises up as opposed to being his usually stubborn self. I don't just spout bullshit, even if that's exactly what it'll no doubt sound like." Whereas she hadn't meant for these men to hear Reiji's name, Fayth allowed that much to be purposely heard.

From what they had hinted about him, he was already the same in a few regards; stoic, and - even here - still the Duel King. Those two facts gave Fayth a pretty decent idea of his mannerisms, even if she was otherwise a complete stranger to this dimension.

"So, since you two were going to go through with this anyway, name your conditions. This going to be two on one at the same time or different ones? I care not, truthfully. It won't change the outcome."

Resting her fingertips gently atop her deck, Fayth waited to hear the answer these guys would give, as well as who would be going first. She couldn't help but smirk when it was declared she would go first. "So be it. Just remember; that's what you chose, not me. Draw!" Her fingers quickly rolled across the top portions of her cards and her grin only further spread. "Very well. I summon Sylvan Flowerknight in attack, whose effect I will choose to activate. I'll reveal the top card of my deck. If it's another plant-type monster, it goes to the grave. Otherwise, the card will go to the bottom of my deck."

Ignoring any snickering or insults that she may be greeted with, the new card flipped, showing it did indeed fulfill the conditions of Sylvan Flowerknight.

"Perfect. I now activate Solidarity and end my turn."

Suddenly, the formerly 1800 attack point monster jumped to 2600, already surpassing most summonable creatures. The single turn alone made it painfully clear Fayth was not about to make this duel an easy one. Even against two opponents at the same time.

Both men seemed unsurprised that she was reacting in such a hostile manner; if Jack Atlas had asked them to keep tabs on her, then it likely meant she was trouble. And judging by how she was getting so defensive about talking to him and only him, they knew this was where they earned their money.

Be it an assassin or an overzealous fan, they were hired to protect him. Not that he was weak, but there were enemies that couldn't be seen. Enemies where services such as theirs were needed.

Jack Atlas, meanwhile was listening to her talk; what did she need to say to him that was so important? Admittedly, his curiosity was piqued...Now to see if she had as much skill as she did stubbornness.

"Since we'll be dueling, this will be a Battle Royale style duel with the rules of a team handicap. No one may attack until all players have had their turn. My partner and I will share a pool of 8000 LP, and you will have the newly implemented 8000 for yourself only." stated the guard to her left, both of them activating their Duel Disks.

"If you manage to defeat us, we will leave you be and if Mr. Atlas wishes to speak with you, you will be contacted. If you lose, however, you will be barred from speaking to Atlas or going anywhere near him again. Violating this will mean a direct report to Sector Security and transport to the Facility for a detention of indeterminate length, just so you're aware." replied the second guard, answering her question of conditions. It seemed just like her, they weren't treating this lightly.

However, both the guards and Jack himself raised an eyebrow as she summoned this 'Sylvan' monster; they weren't aware of this archetype. Was this a new release test or something? It wasn't unheard of for Industrial Illusions to do a trial release for certain Duelists, but usually there was a warning ahead of time.

She would find no disdain; one thing they were different about than Atlas was that they just Dueled and made no remarks about their status. If anyone could call them driven, it would be an understatement.

"My turn, I draw! I summon Alien Soldier in Attack mode. When I control an Alien monster, Special Summon Alien Hound from my hand. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, your monsters gain 2 A-Counters!" Two coin-like apparitions would appear over Flowerknight's head, their surfaces glowing a ghastly green. Continuing, the first guard then said, "I remove those A-Counters to Special Summon Alien Revenger in Attack mode!" At 2200 ATK, it was still currently weaker than Flowerknight. "I then activate 'A'-Cell Scatter Bomb, destroying my Alien Hound and placing A-Counters on your monsters equal to its level! Which means Flowerknight gains three A-Counters! As my last move, I play the Permanent Magic: Ancient Ruins - Code A, place two cards face down and end my turn!"

"My turn, I draw! I activate the Permanent Magic: Worm Call, allowing me to Summon a 'Worm' Reptile monster from my Deck in face-down Defense Position. I then summon Worm Xex in Attack mode and activate its effect. When this card is Normal Summoned, I can send one Reptile-type 'Worm' monster I control to the Graveyard. I choose Worm Yagan!" This was followed by the first guard declaring, "To my partner's effect, I chain the Permanent Trap: Damage = Reptile!" This definitely earned a smirk from the second guard; there was a reason, after all, why he and his partner were hired as a team. And besides, Atlas had the funds to pay for it.

"When Worm Xex is the only monster I control, I can Special Summon Worm Yagan in face-down Defense mode!" A second monster would appear next to the ugly worm-like creature. "I then play the Magic Card: Double Summon, I release Worm Xex to Advance Summon Worm King!" And for Fayth, this would likely be problematic for the moment: With an ATK of 2700, she would need something much stronger or a Spell card to get rid of it. "I then play two cards face-down and end my turn!"

Jack just watched and listened on; these two were already off to a strong start...And if this unknown woman attacked, and they had in place what he thought they had...She was going to be in trouble.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, rules. Blah, blah, blah, blah, confirmations. And then their part of the deal, which only made Fayth smirk slightly. "I hate to break it to you guys; but regardless of the outcome, I am finding and speaking with him. It's all just going to be whether this is done the easier way or the harder one. But ... otherwise, I accept."

While the two bodyguards took their turn, Fayth's head turned slightly. Her eyes narrowed - appeared to be doing just that, at least - beneath the blindfold. There was a third presence not too far away. ... Was that Jack himself? There were few other people she could think of that would be around. Given the distance away from these two, it made the most sense that it should be Jack. But Fayth also knew it very well could be someone else.

By the time they both finished, she let out a long whistle. "Well then ... I suppose I should be glad we agreed to make the duel this way. That would have been pretty troublesome otherwise. Unfortunately ... I came very perfectly prepared. And according to the hand I have, my deck is making sure my efforts aren't going to be in vain." Running her fingers once more over the top of her hand after drawing, Fayth smirked. While keeping the others hidden in between her left fingers, her right middle and index gripped one ... and slowly turned it around, exposing what she was playing in front of the small audience. Including Jack; she just didn't know it was him she was detecting.

"Raigeki ... activate!"

The lightning bolt struck true, landing on each alien and worm, thus making them disappear. It never ceased to amaze Fayth that such a useful card was practically forgotten in her dimension. Even Reiji himself didn't use such a strong card.

... Then again, he didn't need it. And this was, for her, a bonus. Not a necessity, despite how it otherwise looked. But during times like this? Oh, it most definitely helped out. Immensely.

"Now that that's done, I summon Naturia Cosmobeet. I then -- "

That was as far as Fayth got before one of the opponents flipped over their own set down. It was at least tamer than she had thought, which was a blessing in itself. But it was still annoying in its own rights.

"Quick-Spell activate! Book of the Moon! Your monster is immediately flipped face-down!"

Fayth merely chuckled, accepting the move with no real problems. Why? Because, truthfully, it wasn't a huge deal. A nuisance, no doubt. But all she'd said so far was the honest to gods truth. Her deck was like a venomous carnivore that had been depraved and famished for quite some time. Now that it had the opportunity to feast upon these two prey, that was exactly what it intended to do. "Very well then. That's fine. I can adjust. I'll set two of my own spells or traps face down. Sylvan Flowerknight! Direct attack!"

And in that instant, one quarter of their combined life would vanish. Just like that.

"Turn end. Jack may be the King here, but I'm not just some mere peasant myself. That being said ... good luck! You're definitely gonna need it!" Her grin spread further across her face, in a very knowing - almost mocking - smirk. One that dared them to try to deplete any of her life points.
