Yu-gi-oh 5Ds: Rise of Darkness and Corruption (Athene/ImaginaryMuse & Razgriz)

Unaware of what was coming, both guards seemed content with the situation at hand. She had a weaker monster, and only two face down cards. They had stronger monsters, and more chances to defend themselves. One of them could be a Mirror Force or something; however, the Aliens guard knew his Yagan could return an attacking monster to the hand.

However, neither of them would think that she would be able to pull off the next move she would. Once Raigeki struck them down, their fields were both empty. And even though the guard to the left would have been able to take control of her attacking monster, it would be better for them to eat this attack...OR at least, that was their collective mindset.

"Partner, it's alright...We'll come back from this" said the Worms guard, the Aliens guard just nodding as she ended her turn, saying "I draw, I summon Alien-Monite in Attack mode. And thanks to its effect, I can Special Summon a level 4 Alien monster from my graveyard. Return, Alien Soldier!" And with that, he would have a Tuner and a Material...Something he would use to great effect.

"I'm tuning Alien-Monite to my Alien Solider! Base-Beast of the Empire, descend and rain destruction on this world! Synchro Summon! Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar!"

As he Summoned, a great shadow would descend over the battlefield. The colossal monster would hover just above where they were battling, its 'belly' lined with cannons and possessing an impressive ATK of 2600. "I then activate Ancient Ruins! I remove two A-Counters and Summon Alien-Monite from the Graveyard...Then I activate Gol'gar's effect! I return Ancient Ruins and add another A-Counter to Flowerknight. I then activate Brainwashing Beam, seizing control of your monster!" Flowerknight seemed to port over to his side, one of the floating aural coins disappearing as it was consumed.

And after placing it Defense mode, he would go to attack...Only to find another trap waiting for them. Wall of Thorns instantly destroyed his monsters, leaving them empty again....

Jack just watched as they received the reversal of the lifetime...And seeing this woman duel, he was starting to piece together what she was doing. Especially when she would run her fingers over her cards...

"A blind Duelist...And doing so well, too..."

And come the sixth turn, neither of them had anything left. And the only scratch they made was a 100 LP ding....And with Queen of Thorns on the field, they couldn't risk too much of their life trying to Special Summon. This woman had Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, as well as Mark of the Rose holding a Worm King hostage...This was too much. And despite them not having said a single derogatory remark, it felt like they were being punished...

Only for it to get worse as she managed to Synchro Summon a monster that made even Jack Atlas' eyes widen in surprise:

"Rend the obsidian darkness! Scorch Heaven and Earth! Isolated, absolute king!! Synchro Summon!! Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend!"

And once that monster was summoned...It was all over. The Worms guard was finished with his own monster, while the Aliens guard had his monsters incinerated by the titanic monstrosity. Leaving them both defeated and on the ground...Which meant Jack could come forward if he wanted...And based on what he saw, he now knew this was something he should have been involved in from the start.

"Tyrant Red Dragon...Is this an evolution of its power?" Jack commented, seeing the gloriously terrifying creature flex its wings before the AR systems closed out, signaling the end of the Duel." Interesting you have a card that I know nothing about...Just who are you? Especially considering your handicap, you have my attention." he then asked her pointedly, violet hues starting intently at her.

"Hmmm. So they really are meant to swarm."

It was more of a note and observation to herself. She wasn't looking or asking for confirmation, though Fayth certainly wouldn't object if they wanted to do just that. "That's honestly pretty intimidating. It really forces a duelist to think faster than usual. Alas, I'm not allowing you to get your way so easily in rushing over at me, let alone with my monster. Trap card open!"

Reaching down, Fayth quickly pushed on one of the buttons near the bottom of her duel disk, revealing on of the cards she'd set last turn.

"Wall of Thorns!"

... Not quite Mirror Force, but it may as well be. Honestly, the only real difference was Wall of Thorns worked only for plants, whereas Mirror Force could work with any type of card.

Unfortunately, with her Flowerknight having been taken hostage and forced on the other side, it meant her own field was temporarily empty. That was only fine for now, simply because of two reasons. She had other cards to ensure her life points remained safe. Two, she still had her set monster.

... Fine, three I guess, she inwardly corrected, knowing that even if push came to shove, she would be able to re-summon monsters and keep her field from becoming void again.

The first of her extra deck cards to arrive was Queen of Thorns. Tempted as she was to try using any of her XYZs, she decided against it. This was technically the Synchro Dimension, even if no one realized or knew that. Her deck already probably seemed incredibly out of place as it was. Revealing she had a completely new way of summoning would only add more suspicion on her.

And she had quite a bit as it was. No sense in making things too difficult for herself.

... It was true. The two guards were actually being decent, attitude-wise. While Fayth appreciated it, her deck didn't care. She often thought it had a mind of its own. That or Reiji would sometimes hack her duel disk to ensure she drew what she needed.

While the latter was a very real possibility ... nah. It wasn't Reiji's style. He held a sense of honor and dignity, both while he was and wasn't dueling. Knowing he was voluntarily helping her cheat would do little more than leave a very bitter taste in his mouth. She respected him too much as one of the strongest students in LDS, and he held Fayth in his own high regards despite her not being an official Lancer.

With that kind of mutual admiration and respect being shared, she knew he wasn't actually tampering with her deck. Although maybe he had found a way to somehow watch even from the long distance via the dimensions keeping them apart.

Her head shook as she barely fought off the urge to chuckle out loud and proceeded with her turns. When the sixth arrived, she hissed. "Oh dear. Well .... here goes. Rend the obsidian darkness! Scorch Heaven and Earth! Isolated, absolute king!! Synchro Summon!! Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend!"

The bodyguards hadn't apologized this entire duel for taking her seriously. That actually was a thing many of the other students in Maiami City often gave her ... probably because of the handicap.

Either way, Fayth honestly respected and liked that they didn't try to bullshit her or use petty excuses like that. Just not enough to hand over the win to them or slow her pace.

While Fayth's disk began deactivating and re-putting all of the cards that weren't in the deck in place, the sounds of footsteps caused her to turn.

So there was a third person ...

And the moment she heard the voice ... bingo. It was indeed Jack Atlas himself. He sounded the same ... interesting. Did this mean the other dimensions didn't yet acknowledge one another? Maybe. It'd make sense on how other things had stayed the same, such as him remaining in his royal position and whatnot.

"Something like that, yes. I'm not sure if it's officially deemed to be an evolution of your Red Dragon Archfiend, but it very well could be. I ... am assuming they're unconscious, first off. I'll give you the answers you want, but I'd highly prefer doing so in a more discreet area, if you don't mind. This isn't something that anyone I wasn't sent to find needs to hear. It actually could cause a huge panic and series of conspiracy theories. So ... would you mind leading us somewhere more suitable for this talk?"

Jack was still perplexed how this woman managed to get this card; he'd never stopped searching, never stopped trying to get stronger. And yet, here she was...Holding what was clearly a more powerful version of his own monster. And his only question was:

Where the hell did she get it?! If he couldn't find it, then how should she have been able to?

His thoughts were distracted, however, as she began conversing with him. Talking all cryptic, she would be able to feel he was getting annoyed; if there was one thing he despised, it was when people didn't get straight to the point. Crossing his arms in front of him, he just retorted, "Don't be coy; you didn't just run over two of my best associates for no reason. If you truly have something to say to me, say it here and now."

And as if on cue, his two guards seemed to stir, holding their heads as if they'd just gotten into a massive brawl. "Mr. Atlas..." said the Aliens guard, upon realizing their charge was here, the other hunched over as he added, "Apologies, sir...We weren't expecting that kind of deck..." Jack just snarked, "Be silent, it's clear she's using a prototype cardset." Both of them stayed their tongues, knowing that any further groveling would not be tolerated.

Turning his attention back to the strange woman, Jack would then state, "Now then...I believe you were going to tell me why you went through so much trouble just to meet with me? And stop being cryptic; I have more important things to do than stand here and be led around like a dog on a leash."

Fayth merely grinned as Jack demanded her not to be so coy with him.

Heh. Says he who tends to hold that exact same mannerisms to others. Ah, the irony.

While she hadn't personally met or spoken with the Jack in her dimension, she'd heard tons about his personality. It literally was the same ... which strengthened her theory about the dimensions not knowing of the others. Not yet, anyway.

"Fine. Okay, you're right. I definitely didn't come this way for nothing, I'll agree to that much." A light sigh passed her lips as she shrugged. Well .... she had tried to warn him. So if he was about to lose two of his best men because he refused to comply ... ah well. Fayth had most definitely tried her best to convince him otherwise. Then again, as a stubborn person herself, she could respect others who possessed the same trait. It was nice to have ... sometimes.

Others, it could definitely be a tad annoying. Still, she also understood why he was being so adamant on not guiding her to another place.

"Well then," she started, pausing to try to figure out how to begin delivering this message, "Here goes everything and nothing. My name is Fayth Milner. I'm ... not even technically from here. Nor am I from the Satellite."

That no doubt would sound weird, as there weren't exactly any other options. So ... remembering how irritated Jack had sounded, she began adding more. "I'm from the Pendulum Dimension where you actually exist in also. Don't ask how; I'm not a scientist. I just know what I have been told. Signs have steadily been showing in our dimension. What it essentially leads to is all the other places - including this, the Synchro Dimension - will merge into one very new, foreign place. What will become of it?"

Fayth shrugged.

"Unfortunately, even we aren't sure about that. But every day that's been ticking away, the worlds are getting closer and closer to uniting. Few people do, and most of us that do are in the Pendulum Dimension. Unfortunately .... the Academia is trying to declare war. So I was sent here in the stead of the individual who originally wanted to meet with you. I don't need to be a mind reader to know you think I'm lying. But go back to what you just said regarding my deck. It can't be a prototype; you should know this. By default, prototypes aren't official cards. Therefore, they wouldn't be able to be read properly on a duel disk. But everything - all the Sylvans - registered perfectly, didn't they? Why, Jack? Surely, you can put two and two together, can't you?"

Her own arms crossed over her chest as she hesitated, contemplating whether to go through with this or not ....

And finally decided that even if it was risky, yes. This was for the best.

Reaching down, Fayth pulled her extra deck out. "Standard, Fusion, Synchro, XYZ, Pendulum; those are the five dimensions that simultaneously exist. In case the Sylvans aren't enough proof ... here. These are XYZ summons."

Pulling a card and gripping it in between her fingers, Fayth turned it around. Unlike the other cards, this was one all black, including the border. At the top, the name of the monster read: "Alsei, the Sylvan High Protector".

"You probably noticed, but the name of each dimension is also a way of special summoning. I'm trying to seek out and warn anyone that exists in our world as well as another. You're one of those people ... and that's exactly why I'm here."

After she gave him what seemed like enough time to examine her card, Fayth turned it around and placed it back into her disk. She went silent, waiting to hear his thoughts on all she'd said.

Jack never moved, only continuing to stare at her as she finally delved into why she was here...Only to be surprised as she claimed to be from a different dimension of all things.

If it was from the Tops, he would have bought it. Even if it was another country, he could have bought that. Being from America or somewhere like that, especially with a name like Fayth, wouldn't be too much of a reach. But from a different dimension? If only her eyes could see the scowl that formed on his face; to think she was lying was an understatement.

Only when she finished, and he seeing these new cards - Pendulum and Xyz being two types he never even heard of before - would he bother replying to her at all.

"You say prototypes wouldn't register properly, but I happen to know Duel Disks can be hacked, modified. I can't imagine that someone with the right skillset would have much trouble allowing prototype cards to be recognized. And what better way to do it than in a Ground Duel? I don't know who exactly you were, or how you came to be in possession of these, but as far as I'm concerned, the Duel you just had is invalid...You're not worth wasting any more time on."

It probably wouldn't be too much of a surprise to her that he would think her a cheat, someone who used illegally obtained cards.

"Mr. Atlas, are you implying she cheated?" asked the Worms guard, Jack retorting as he glared at the man from the corner of his eye, "Have you heard of these Xyz or Pendulum cards?" to which his other guard replied, "Sir, to our knowledge, those cards don't exist." Jack just let out a 'Hmph' and turned his attention back to Fayth, "I guess I was wrong to consider you a threat. Anyone who doesn't use their own power is worthless."

"Unbelievable" commented the Aliens guard, the Worms guard adding "To bring such disgrace to Duel Monsters, she must be lying about being from Satellite too. Only such scum would resort to low measures like this." Jack just nodded in the affirmative, "Now then...While I would normally report such disgraceful tactics, I'm feeling merciful. Seeing as you're clearly not from here, dimension or otherwise, I'll give you this chance to leave. And for your sake, never approach me again."

"Sir, shouldn't we report her now?" asked one of his guards, Jack himself stating "I won't waste Sector's time on something as trivial as this...Now come on." Turning on his heel, he would then walk away from her...Not even bothering to give her a second look as he made his way back to his own 'castle'. Where he would gladly renown himself as the Duel King

It wasn't amazing that Jack immediately jumped to the 'I don't believe you' mindset. Rather, it was the logic - why exactly he refused to acknowledge her words may have held some truth - that took her aback. He wasn't wrong; Fayth knew he was right. Hacking duel disks was indeed very doable. Back in Maiami City, there were probably loads of people who had the potential to do just that. But to outright try to suggest she would do such a thing?

That was what made her scoff.

"Really, Jack? Really? You are right about me possessing fortes outside of dueling. But that most definitely is not one of them. Failing to acknowledge something you don't understand ... fine. I get that. But don't just throw over wild accusations like that. Especially without proof. I don't give half a shit if you're king here or not; even you have to follow procedures and heed by the same rules I do. That being said, if you're trying to legally threaten me, fine. But that's something I definitely will beat you in."

Fayth paused, repeating one of the last sentences that just passed her lips ... and then snickering as she continued thinking more and more on them.

" ... You know? That attitude is less akin to a king's and more similar to a tyrant's. A cowardly one, at that rate. You're no different back home either. Shame. But ... I guess you are whom you are. Selfish, naive, and refuse to even consider that someone just happens to know more than you about a particular subject. A child trapped in a young adult's body .... pathetic."

Sliding her feet along the ground, Fayth felt the concrete. She had noted that the path she'd walked down earlier had a certain feel to it. So once she detected where it was, she stepped down on the area, beginning to walk away. "Hmph. Don't worry. I have no intention to. I was just the messenger. That's why you aren't supposed to shoot them, as the proverb goes. You don't like what I got to say? Fine. But know it wasn't me that wanted to relay this to you. Unfortunately, they're busy with their own things and couldn't tell you themselves. You two are eerily alike ... "

The last sentence was mumbled under her breath. Her own "Hmph" passed her lips as Fayth began walking away, navigating herself to a small apartment she'd taken shelter in since arriving in the Synchro Dimension.

"The difference, though, is Reiji knows when to give people benefit of the doubt. You don't know jack shit ... heh. Figures."

A disappointed sigh now resounded, mingling in with the air. This was basically what she had expected ... but it didn't make things any less disappointing.

Ten minutes later, she finished her trek home, opening and closing the front door behind her. Plopping into the nearest chair, she tapped a few buttons and activated the phone function. Though she couldn't see the face appear, she knew it was Reiji simply by the greeting she received within mere seconds of the call being answered. "So? How'd it go?"

"How do you think?"

Now it was Reiji's turn to sigh. "I suppose it can't be helped. Even Yuya had to work on getting Jack to listen to him, and that took quite a while. Unfortunately, we don't have time to try to convert him." He pushed his red-rimmed glasses up, something Fayth detected with her ears. "At least you did what was asked of you. Come back over, then."

"With pleasure. Ugh. This is by far the worst dimension."

Her fingers lowered as she pushed down on the button again, ending the call. Reaching into a hidden compartment of her disk, she pulled out a card. Now this one was something Jack could have tried to accuse her of. He'd be partly right. It was fake ... in the sense of not an official playing card. But that was because it wasn't meant to be used in decks. It was how she got around and traveled through all of the dimensions. Holding it in between her fingers, she slid it into the middle trap and spell slot.

... But felt ... nothing?

"Hmm?" she questioned, tilting her head. Slowly, Fayth pulled the card out and re-inserted it ... feeling her heart beat faster as the same thing happened. Nothing. No change in how her body felt, no sensations to imply the device was working ... not a goddamn thing. "What in the fuck?! Don't ... don't tell me .... " After trying at least ten more times, all of which had the same result, Fayth felt her body begin to tremble. Her fingers hastily danced across the keypad once more.

"What's up? Did something come up?" Reiji asked, his tone holding a slightly taken aback one. Which made sense; Fayth didn't expect him to be called by her again, let alone so soon.

"It's not working!"

"What isn't?"

"My disk! It's not letting me return back!"

Reiji's eyes widened then narrowed. "Oh? Try again. Let me watch." Sure enough, even thirteenth time wasn't a charm. "Hmm," he mused, the sounds of him working on his own disk able to be heard. "Something is broken, it seems."

"With all due respect, that much is obvious. Do you know what exactly though?"

"Not yet. It'd be easier to examine if I were there. Unfortunately, the situation has ... gotten worse, as you can imagine. I can't get over here myself, nor can I really send anyone else who has the ability to help over."

Fayth felt her heart sink. "Not even Reira?" she asked hopefully.

"No. He's a Lancer. All of us are in the midst of preparing for battle."

"W-Well ... isn't there anyone who isn't a Lancer and is good with this tech shit?!"

Reiji shook his head. "No. I'm sorry. There are a few things I can do. One, you can wait and give me ... time. Anywhere from one week to a few months, and I can try to come over. I can't make any guarantees, as the ongoing frays will determine how fast or slow I can arrive, if even I can do just that. But your best bet .. is staying here for a bit."

"Stay? As in live here?"

"Should it mean anything else?"

"You can't be serious ... " Her fists clenched as Fayth angrily slammed her right down on the armchair. "What the hell am I supposed to do here?!"

"Adapt. You're smart, Fayth. And you're not weak, even with that handicap. You'll figure something out. I know this isn't your preference. I can literally hear it in your voice. It seems, however, this is the best choice. Certainly the faster one. What I can do is transfer you some money. I wasn't originally going to pay you because this was meant to simply deliver a message. Given how drastically the circumstances have changed, though, I can make an exception." Fayth heard Reiji tapping again, this time on a different keyboard, hinted by the fact the noise was slightly further away. Not much, but enough to know he wasn't using his duel disk, which suggested it was probably a laptop or computer of some sort. "This should be enough to last you a week to ten days. That's more than enough time to figure some way to earn your own income. I've given instructions for the bills to be folded in the usual ways when you withdraw it from your account."

" ... Alright. I understand."

"I knew you would. Just keep holding on, alright? In the best case scenario, you'll get money and I - or Reira - will be able to come over in time. For now, this is all I can do. I suggest come morning, you withdraw those funds and start planning as soon as we disconnect. Good luck."

Yet again, Reiji ended their talk. This time, he left Fayth in a very desperate and distraught state.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit ...

"FUCK!" she screamed out, relieved there were no neighbors for her to pester. The urge to shove the table down was barely fought off as Fayth angrily stood up and stormed to the bathroom. She doubted a cold shower would cool her temper down. But damned if she wouldn't at least try. Because ... something had to help her. And since it couldn't be Reiji, it would have to be something Fayth could do for herself.

Any further comments she made would be summarily ignored by him; in his eyes, she had cheated through the Duel and had lost any chance she had to try and talk with him further. And the fact that she defended herself in such a way was aggravating as well; how could anyone be proud of having to use such underhandedness to win?

He would need to do some research nonetheless, or at the very least ask Goodwin, to see if there was any possibility of them being real. As much as it pained him to admit it, his curiosity was piqued.

And it was this thought that made him leave his guards at the door of his apartment. And soon after dialing Goodwin's number on his phone, he was instantly welcomed by the very man he had hoped to reach. "Ah, Jack! Good to hear from you; your Duel was a hit as always! Still and always will be the King!" Rex complimented him, Jack noting the tension in his voice but leaving it alone. The man always had to deal with something, and it wasn't really his place to go prying if it didn't involve him. The King stayed silent for a moment before replying "Thanks, but I'm calling on more official business...I need some of your people to look into something, but keep it discreet. If it's not too much trouble."

Back in Satellite, Hotsuma and Yuna were settling back into the swing of things. Naturally, Hotsuma did lament the loss of his bed back in Arcadia; despite the circumstances under which he stayed there...The damn thing was so comfortable, and he quickly got spoiled on it. But he knew that coming back here was infinitely better than ending up a loyal lapdog to that asshat Divine.

How that fuck-up was a leader was beyond him...But that was neither here or there, and currently he was playing a game of chess with his friend Yamichi.

Who, by the way, was absolutely destroying him.

"Man, Sos-eh, Hotsuma...Whatever happened to you over in Arcadia made you suck at chess. Check." the tech joked, Hotsuma chuckling as he moved his knight down three and left one to take the pawn that had deadlocked his king, "Ah, can it you wise-ass. You've always kicked my ass at this, but one of these days I will find a way to beat you."

However, Hotsuma would see that was a ploy...And soon Yamichi just pushed his rook forward and said with an all too proud grin, "Checkmate." And one look at the board would show he was right: Hotsuma was stuck, making the leader smile as he tipped over his king. "Well...You win, Yamichi...Least Duel Monsters I can still beat you at, so there's that." he commented, giving his number two a punch in the arm. Yamichi could only laugh, "Only because you have cards that annihilate the backrow like nothing else." At this Hotsuma snapped his fingers, "That's right...I've actually been meaning to make some changes to that; with everything that's happened, it nearly slipped by me. Imma go talk to Yuna real quick..."

Helping put the chessboard away, he then bade the young man goodbye and went searching for his lover...There was something he wanted to get started on soon as well, and wanted to see if she would want to come along for the ride.

When the next morning rolled around, Fayth immediately headed to the nearest bank after changing her outfits. Concept wise, it was similar; a matching lingerie set, jeans, a tank top, and a hoodie to keep her blindfold hidden away. When she could control the outcomes, one of the few things Fayth ever did was walk out an about in public. Unfortunately, she knew today was one of those rare exceptions. A very necessary evil that she had to endure. Fine. So be it. But she would at least exit her sanctuary with some precautions in order to make the awkward stares she would no doubt be greeted with that much more easier to handle.

Getting the money actually went much smoother than even she thought. Apparently, she had been expected, which made her smirk. There was only one reason she could think as to why that was the case. Sure enough, it was confirmed when she noted the bills had been folded in very specific ways. Small slips of paper were attached via a paper clip, labeled with the stack of which bills they were.

Nodding after counting and getting an exact amount on how much Reji had sent over to her, Fayth exited ... and felt just a bit lost. It was a lot. More than enough to ensure she could live without any financial troubles for at least one to three months, somewhere around there. Except ... that wasn't what Fayth wanted, even if Reiji seemed to according to the gift he sent over.

But then ... what do you use the money on?

For a while, Fayth opted to cautiously walk around the Tops ... not necessarily looking for anything in particular. And yet, she got exactly what she wanted. An answer of sorts. A way to guide her to figuring out how to spend her money. Apparently, a major tournament was going to take place here soon enough. The main prizes were, of course, money ... but also the chance to overthrow Jack. The latter, naturally, was a bonus. However ... she already knew exactly what to do. Even though the latter prize was indeed a bonus, it was one Fayth would happily indulge in. She was still pretty sour about how their talk had gone.

"Besides," she mused to herself, "I won't be seeking him out. Just the money. Can't get at me for that, can you? Heavy is he who wears the crown indeed."

It would have been very simple for Fayth to find a card store here in the Tops. But ... no. For the time being, she wanted to be as far away from that smug bastard of a king. So ... after finding someone who actually was heading to the Satellite, they agreed to help guide her safely there.

Within twenty minutes, Fayth arrived in the 'slums', more or less. This would definitely be a first for her; even in the Pendulum Dimension, she had never visited this area before. "Thanks. So, where are ... ??" Fayth clicked her tongue as a harsh dawning hit her. It seemed the moment her guide had finished with what they had been asked to do, they went on their own merry way. "Oh, yay," she sarcastically muttered, sighing softly. The Tops ... she had been living there, in truth, for at least a good week. That was more than enough time to figure numerous routes out and thus memorize where to go, especially if she had to leave her small apartment.

This? Well, for all she knew, it may very well be enemy territory. In fact, if half of the rumors were true, it probably was.

"How's your arm feeling, Yuna?"

It wasn't too unexpected that Hajime had been the first of her men to greet her. As much as part of her had been tempted to ask Hotsuma to sleep with her, they agreed to try to keep a somewhat professional appearance. Which, for the time being, meant waiting until either they got a place of their own away from Yomi or ... what was B?

Her hand waved through the air, dismissing the thought as she nodded. "Yeah. It is. Still stings a bit, but ehh. That's what I get for playing hard to get." She didn't really mean it, of course. But she was trying to jest, even at herself ... despite it being over a very grim situation.

"That ... wasn't from Hotsuma. Was it?"

Yuna raised an eyebrow as she looked up to the bluenette, "Who the fuck do you take me for? If it was, I wouldn't return with him. Hell, he may not have returned here alive if that were the case." Yuna sighed, finally beginning to eat from the tray of food Hajime had brought up. " .... I was trying to be discreet about why I used to be Yukio. There was an extra reason included with what I did say. We got found by two of Arcadia's members. One ... took a rather disturbing fascination with me. Before we left .... he almost ..... well .... "

Yuna paused, trying to find a better way to reveal the rest of the sentence. "Tell me, Hajime; how are women viewed for the most part here? You know of their fates, don't you?"

"Oh shit. I ... I'm sorry. But ... almost?"

Yuna chuckled, finishing another bite of food before resuming, "You are so fucking curious. Makes me wonder some days about you. Are you really this naive? Or are you just pulling my leg? Anyway, there was an actual person there who truly watched our backs. She arrived .... and killed him."

"Really? Another woman?"

Yuna quickly nodded, "By far one of the strongest I've met, both as a Psychic and a duelist."

Hajime whistled upon hearing his boss describe this unknown person. "That's crazy strong. I mean, you are yourself. And ... you're saying there's another female on par with you? Or ... is she more ... ??"

"In some regards, she probably is. Definitely with her own powers and abilities. Dueling though? It's very hard to say. I won when we did duel ... but barely. It wasn't easy."

"... Hmm? If she has your own powers, does that mean you have something of yours?"

.... Ooops ... Yuna inwardly cursed, realizing her error. That had been another thing the couple agreed to try to keep under the table, per se. Until the time was right, of course. It'd be too weird to just have any of them suddenly see either boss turn into a duel spirit without knowing why or how they could do that. "It's ... " She had been ready to say the simple lie of 'nothing'. Thankfully, though, Hotsuma walked in and spared her from having to do that. It was, without a doubt, her preference. If anymore lying or hiding had to be done, it was only when it was absolutely needed.

"I think I know what this is about ... so go on and say it. We promised to keep things discreet only when needed. If anything, this is something our guys should know we're thinking about ... assuming my mind jumped to the right reason you're here. So ... let me finish up and let's speak about this with all of your closest members. Seem fair?"

Poor Hajime looked confused. Yuna merely offered him a small smile; one that promised clarification would arrive soon and quietly worked on eating the rest of her breakfast.

Hotsuma walked in at a good time indeed; he'd managed to catch the tail end of their conversation, but it was enough to where he knew what she was about to say. Yeah, didn't need poor Hajime with that mental picture; it was hard enough to explain why they'd been taken. To think they'd both be able to actually transform?

He honestly didn't know if even his guys would be able to handle that; it was hard enough trying to skirt the subject. He'd told them what Divine had tried to do, but just said he wasn't sure if they even succeeded. Just that he and Yuna busted their asses trying to get out of there. Best they keep it on the down low for now, until a more opportune time would arise to properly inform them.

"Ah, yeah...Seems like you're a mind reader. It's exactly what you're thinking; figured we'd try to get ahead of the wave, as it were. Yamichi filled me in; the second wave of new Sector recruits is coming in...So I say we show those green little worms what it means to fuck with Satellite." Holding his own pouch of Beelze cards, he just grinned, "I think my buddy Syd will appreciate this gift; he's been itching for a way to get back at those dicks. And he'll love the irony all too much."

Regardless, he would let her finish...And would soon call a meeting with the rest of his group.

"Listen up, guys...We're going to be taking off for a little bit, but don't worry. We're not leaving Satellite; we have something more important, isn't that right, Yamichi." Poor Yamichi seemed about ready to jump out of his skin, but relaxed when he was told that his boss wouldn't be leaving. "Hotsuma, is this about Sector? What exactly are you going to do?" he then asked, Hotsuma just chuckling as he held up the remainder of the Beelze cards.

"My plan? It's simple; we give one of these to every badass that holds turf in Satellite. Sector wanted to use this as a weapon of war against us...Let's see how they like it when we open the floodgates on them for a change. I gave one to you guys for that reason as well...It might take some tweaking of your decks, but I know you guys are adaptable. You'll find a way to make this guy work for you."

Takeshi just chuckled, "Man...You are one crazy dude. Yuna, are you really going with this? I mean, I'm glad we're finally able to stick to those pig-headed bastards somehow...But if they get a powerful card like this, I don't know if Sector will even able to rein them in." Hotsuma just smirked, "All this time, they've called us all monsters. So I say we show them a damn monster...Who's with me?"

For the first ten minutes ... probably thirty ... Fayth felt like an absolute idiot. Her eyes would have been narrowed if they were still under the blindfold. In place of that gesture, she opted to clench her fists tightly. "Don't have everyone and everything fucking hate me at once," she bitterly whispered to herself, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself. "Okay. So you're lost ... in Satellite. Yikes. Well ... this place can't be full of only shitty people, right?"

Yet, the next few minutes almost started to feel as if her fears were becoming more and more real.

"Shit!" she hissed, quickly going silent soon after she cursed. Her lips pursed together as she turned her head around and broke off into a run. She wasn't alone; that much she knew for sure. Unfortunately, Fayth had only heard enough to detect someone was a few paces away from her. Who they were or even how many people was a different story. Normally, the lack of a D-Wheeler starting up would be a relief. But only the stupidest idiots would be the ones who didn't think or realize Sector could be walking around on foot. Same with gang members.

Just because one method of transportation was faster, that didn't mean it was the only one that could be used. Such a rule definitely applied to anyone who lived
in Satellite.

"Alright, Hajime. Come on down. I didn't think he'd be so eager to get working on this. My bad though. I should have know and figured that much."

It was a tease, and the coy smirk revealed that much to both Hotsuma and her own right-hand man. Already having a good idea of what to expect, she descended down the stairs, entering the living room and using it as a make shift conference room of sorts. She would stay quiet during mot of the talk and let her lover explain what they had agreed to do. Only after Takeshi curiously asked whether she would help out or not did the Yomi leader take her turn to reply.

"Yes. Even while I still pretended to be Yukio, this was something we agreed on long ago. This plan has been an inevitable one, really. We just haven't had the time or resources to execute it. But now .... well .... things have changed. This is definitely the best opportunity. So, we may as well use it while it still remains. Hell, even before I allied myself with Hotsuma, I fully intended to liberate everyone from the Facility one of these days."

"Are you mad?!" Hajime had finally seemed to find his last straw. He'd tried - the poor bastard really had - to stay silent.

But ... Yuna couldn't blame him. It was a fair reaction, and exactly why she chuckled instead of scolding him. "Maybe a small bit," she confessed, "But ... really. Most of the 'crimes' people who have been sent there aren't legitimate. They're for petty shit. From existing to being a duelist. What kind of fucking prison is that, huh? It's not a true one. And so, as far as I'm concerned, no one deserves to be there."

"W-Well ... " Hajime slowly nodded, understanding where Yuna was coming from. "Okay. But ... what if you two get caught in there?"

Yuna gripped her lower lip, needing only about twenty seconds to conjure an answer, "As long as it's after getting everybody else out, fine. I'll accept that. Should that happen, you will be in charge until I escape. Trust me, we've thought this through for quite some time. And even if they didn't mean to, those idiots at Arcadia actually helped us out. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?"

Hajime pondered this over and finally nodded. "Okay. Then I'll help out as well. I'm in with you guys."

Yuna grinned, flashing a sincere smile over as she heard her right-hand man continue to prove why he had earned his spot. Perhaps Hajime was a bit naive. But compared to most of the other members of Yomi? No one was nearly as devoted and loyal as him, and it showed.

Needless to say, Fayth was dead-on; she wasn't alone, and she happened to be in a particularly rough area of town. Not because of Sector Security, but because of a Duel Gang that happened to control this part of the city.

And she would see that she was right smack in the middle of their territory, the Ambulators...Less organized with their strongest member Kiryu currently incarcerated, but still a force to be reckoned with all the same.

"Oh, well...Look at this, we have a lost little lamb".

And Fayth would soon find herself encompassed on all sides by a group of three young men, dressed in long black coats and equally dark slacks and shoes. A handy choice of clothing since they were always moving about. Causing trouble for Sector whenever they saw fit, and by whatever means they found necessary.

"You look lost, young lady...Maybe we can be of assistance?"

"Man if this works...Sector's going to get so pissed." Yamichi remarked, a bit in awe that both leaders were planning something so daring. The Facility was thought to be virtually impregnable. Nothing got in or out without the say-so of both Goodwin and the Warden's authority. If they felt bold enough to go after Sector like that, whatever this Arcadia place did must have really been something.

"Well, this is just the first step; gotta keep these clowns busy somehow. And what better way than to have the other gangs start causing them problems?" Hotsuma grinned, the group laughing; yeah, it was good to have things back to somewhat normal. Made him (and deep down he had a feeling Yuna felt this too) that much more glad they busted out of Arcadia.

"Wait...But how are you going to get them out? You'd need to be on the inside to make that happen..." Takeshi asked, Hotsuma giving a slight knowing smirk, "I was just about to get to that. I do have a plan for that myself...But I have this distinct impression no one's going to like it. Especially with what Yuna just said."

Turning to his lover, he then said with an all-too-serious tone, "And Yuna, what I'm about to propose is going to make me sound like a madman...And I won't be surprised if you catch me across the face with that wicked left hook of yours." He crossed his arms, having a feeling that with their recent stint in Arcadia that this might get a bad reaction.

"If we want to break into that fortress, we'll give them a reason to arrest us. That'll be our in: We pull the Trojan horse trick, and cut our way from the belly of the beast itself. And break everyone out from the Facility all at once."

Takeshi and Yamichi almost immediately exploded in "WHAT?!" Hotsuma held up his hands defensively, trying to calm them down, "Look, I know it's not ideal...And given what we went through, I was definitely hesitant in thinking about it. But she's right, they DID help us...Enough to the point where I know this will work. Sector's beccoming too fortified for us to be patient and try to get one person out at a time...And if this does work, they'll have to scramble everything they've got..."

He then raised a fist and clenched it hard, adding firmly, "And that's when we make the push, and swallow Sector in the tidal wave that pushes them out of Satellite for good!"

What had seemed originally like one set of footsteps revealed themselves to be three. Fayth lightly latched onto her lower lip as she glanced around. She didn't need her sight to confirm she was surrounded. In fact, this was honestly one of those moments where her handicap was a bit of a blessing. Sometimes, it was the things people did see that were more terrifying than the unknown. Granted, it could work the other way around but ... she had adapted, for the most part. And usually, it was hard to make her on edge.

This, alas, was one of those exceptions. There was a reason; an annoying but true one. No one had helped her learn properly any martial arts. Reiji had originally been working on it. The moment she was robbed of her sight, though, he changed his mind. It wasn't meant to be a decision made out of disrespect; quite the opposite. Knowing that the rest of her senses - hearing in particular - would be more keen, he had been concerned her body would be too sensitive to pain and react badly.

Should have fucking been more adamant about that. Shit!

"N-No, I'm --- "

... Who are you kidding? They can probably hear how false you're already sounding.

Taking a slight breath, Fayth begrudgingly gave an affirmative nod. "Okay. Fine, a bit lost, yes. That is true. But I'll live. I'm a fast learner." There. Now she was being more honest ... no doubt a dangerous thing in circumstances like this. But it would have been even worse if she'd been foolish enough to go through with the lie. So maybe this would make it easier for her?

... Had they not gotten their decks ready? That was ... weird.

... Fuck! You don't have your Sylvan deck with you! It's back in your apartment!

In her haste to retrieve the money Reiji had sent and get a new deck, she completely forgot not only her deck, but her duel disk. Fayth's heart sank as she realized the only method of having a slight chance to defend herself way gone. Far away, at least. "You ... probably have better things to do. So I'll let you get on with the rest of your day." Pivoting on her feet, she attempted to duck under the arm of the man who had been behind her.

"Yuna?! He's joking, right?! Please tell me you two have a smarter way of doing this!"

Yuna merely smirked, moving her head slowly from side to side. "Sadly, no. But stop and think about it for a second. How do you expect us to make progress on our self-declared war versus Sector if we keep running away from them, hmm?" The response Yuna had expected surrounded the entire Yomi base; silence. "Exactly," she added in a very certain tone. "Point made I'm guessing, right?"

"W-Well ... I mean yes, but ... Yuna ... are you sure?"

Yuna crossed her left arm carefully over her chest, flashing everyone a look that dared them to throw over an alternative way to go about this plan. Again, no one spoke up. When someone did, it was Hajime groaning while rubbing his forehead. "I don't like this. You just got back, Yuna. And now you're about to put yourself at risk so soon?" His head bowed slightly, "You've got far more charisma than me. I don't know if I can even try to take over. I barely did while you were at Arcadia!"

"You just said it though. You did succeed in that." Moving two fingers under Hajime's chin, she tilted his head up, forcing him to make eye contact with her brown eyes. "You'll be fine. But like I said, we're not gonna stay inside the Facility for long. That I swear."

"How? How can you be so sure, though?"

Yuna's grin merely widened as her fingers left Hajime's jaw and wagged two fingers in front of his face. "A good magician never tells their secrets. Same policy here. Just trust me when I say we've secured a way to leave. And should we fail in making them run completely out of Satellite, we will make sure of one thing. After everyone's out, we'll get rid of the Facility for good, be it by burning the place down or something else! Never again will anyone have to worry about that bullshit prison. No one. Even if Sector remains, they'll be drastically weakened, both physically and with their morale boost of sorts. They may as well be gone after we're done with them, should they try to linger around."

The man behind Fayth just chuckled as she tried to move away, catching her as she would try and make her exit. Twisting her arm behind her back. "What, not even a thanks for the offer? Just gonna brush us off?" said the male, a good head taller than her and much more burlesque. "Tsk, tsk...Women are so rude these days. Especially those uppity Sector bitches...Think because they have a badge and a fancy D-Wheeler they're such hot shit." piped in the other,
the apparent leader chuckling "Now now, I'm sure she's just not used to men being so forward with her."

Giving Fayth a sick grin, he would add "Isn't that right, sweetcheeks? You're going to show me and my friends a good time if we help you out, isn't that a fair deal?"

However, they would hear a loud roar of a D-Wheeler squealing up behind them, an all too familiar face. "I'm not entirely sure what's going on here, but you three have about ten seconds to explain." said the spiky-haired male, one of the group proclaiming, "Ah crap, it's Yusei! He's the one that got Kiryu locked up!"

The leader of the group snarled, "This ain't any of your business, Fudo...So beat it before we have to hurt you." Stepping off his D-Wheeler, Yusei would just cross his arms in mild annoyance, "You blame me for Kiryu's imprisonment, but that's not how it went...Even still, you know as well as I do that I can hold my own. So again...Explain yourselves. Now."

Hotsuma was a bit surprised she didn't punch him across the face; after all, they'd just escaped imprisonment and now he was proposing to the entire haven that they were going to willingly. But then he remembered that they did gloss over it back at Arcadia; still, he didn't remember expressly saying what he had in mind.

But then again...Maybe he didn't need to. He and Yuna, even when she was masquerading as Yukio, usually understood each other's objectives. And this was one that they both had in common. And to him, at least, it was worth being imprisoned again...If only because he would be doing such on his own terms.

"Hotsuma...I don't know about this..." Yamichi remarked, Hotsuma giving the nervous young man a hair-ruffling "Don't sweat it...We'll be in and out before you even notice we're gone. Trust me, Sector's not gonna know what hit 'em..."

Flashing his lover a knowing smirk as she made her own points, he then finished with, "But hey...We're not going just yet, so we'll be around for a bit. Even so, we do need to get these copies of Beelze handed out. Who knows, maybe we'll get a chance to test them out."

Handing a few more copies of each card to the rest of his guys, he would go on with distribution instructions. "Takeshi, go meet with the Skull Flames; you used to run with them before you joined up, so you'll be able to get in past his group. Give Enjo, Sect, Genji and Shiri a copy; and tell him that if he gives you any shit, he'll have to answer to me." He then gave four cards to Yamichi, "Talk to Hiru and his guys over in Sector E; I don't know if they'll want to use this card, but they might know some others who could use this in their deck.

The last unclaimed copy he kept for himself, "I'm going to meet with Syd; if anything will step up his ability to hijack Sector's D-Wheelers, it'll be this card. And this way, the chrome-dome can't ever say I didn't do anything nice for him."

.... Hooooooly shit ....

When her head bumped into the man's chest, she took note of the difference, as well as how high his voice came from.

Motherfucker! Yep, should have been way more adamant about those goddamn self-defense lessons. Well ... they haven't found the money at least. Humor them long enough?

... Long enough for what? Who was she kidding? Only in children's stories and shit did heroes arrive at the best possible second. That wasn't going to happen, and that was the exact fear Fayth continued to note as no additional noises resounded in her ears. Her heart pounded frantically as she pulled and yanked at her arm, wincing as she only earned more and more pressure on her joint. But honestly? That was fine. As long as she didn't cave into these bastards before anything overly dire like death may arrive, she could live with herself.

"I don't owe any of you a goddamn thing! Definitely not some sort of a .... display or whatever you're trying to imply!"

And then .... there it was. The loud, distinct revving of an engine. Her heart soared, even stopped for a few seconds.

Oh yes! Please gods yes! Don't let that be Sector, please!

It didn't sound like it. In fact, hearing these men able to dictate the name of the person who rode up and was about to intervene made Fayth that much more certain it wasn't someone from Sector.

But then ... was this the kind of man who had a good or bad reputation? That was one thing Fayth found herself wondering about. With the way they were speaking about this Yusei, he came off as a really tough individual. When all was said and done though, would he have any ulterior motives to try to use against her?

That was what made Fayth the most anxious, truthfully. Because if he did ... she'd have an even harder time dealing with him than these mere street punks.

Still, he's the best opportunity you've had thus far, so ...

While the others were distracted, Fayth raised her foot and slammed it down hard against the boot of the assailant still holding her. "Let go!" she growled, jerking again at her hammerlocked arm. As glad as Fayth was that neither her money or blindfold had been discovered, she still didn't want to push her luck.

That would be exactly what would happen if she gave these men too much more time.

Yuna looked down at the remaining Beelze cards while Hotsuma reassured everyone they weren't going to declare war against Sector yet. Whereas he negotiated and dealt with other gangs, she hadn't really done much with them. Originally, it had simply been a mere choice. A decision to avoid them to keep away from trouble.

However, the moment she took up the persona of Yukio, it then was to be damn sure no one discovered her true identity.

Now, however, that fear was gone. However .... these extras weren't cards she could use. Well, she probably could with a bit of tweaking. The better wording, thus, was Beelze wasn't something her deck needed. And therein laid the main issue.

There were others who could use these. Considering what she had just said not long ago about no one deserving to be locked away, it seemed only fair to help assisting any future arrests before they went against Goodwin and Sector.

"Hajime? Take these. Go with Yamichi. If any would work in your deck, secure them now while you still can. Otherwise, aid out in distributing those."

When he looked hesitant to accept the task, Yuna sighed softly. "If it really makes you feel better, run right quick to my room and grab it from my drawer. You know where it is. I doubt you'll need to use it, buuuuut ... "

"You know how fickle they can be. Yes. Sorry, but yes. I would rather take that with me. Thank you."

Within three minutes, he returned. Anyone that took notice of his movements would see him tucking a pistol away in the back pocket of his denims, concealing it by draping his shirt over the firearm.

"Alright then. That's settled, so .... "

Her head turned as she looked over to Hotsuma, "I'm going with you."

He would note that wasn't a question, but a matter-of-factly spoken statement. "I'll take it easy on the arm and shit. But no way am I just going to stay here and risk dying of boredom. Nu-uh."

Yusei stepped off his D-Wheeler, waiting with growing impatience as the three men stared at him. "Well? You gonna say anything?" he then asked, hands clenching at his sides.

And when this girl stepped on the guy's foot, he let out a small shriek of pain. "You fucking bitch!" he bellowed, raising a meaty arm up and backhanding her as she tried to wrench away. And making Yusei rush into action.

Before the big lug even knew what hit him, his chin was the receiving end of a vicious left cross. Knocking the taller and beefier male on his ass, eyes clenched in pain before the two others shouted and rushed to avenge their fallen comrade. What ensued was extremely reminiscent of a bar brawl, fists and feet flying at fleshy targets in a fast-paced and furious flurry.

One of the Ambulators was knocked out cold rather quickly in the fight, his eyes rolled up as blood trickled from his nose where Yusei's fist had broken it. The other two, however, were putting up more of a fight. The bigger one, his left eye already swollen, had grabbed Yusei from behind and tried to put him in a headlock; however, the spiky-haired male would mimic Fayth and stepped on the same foot before elbowing him in the gut and then finishing with a hard right uppercut.

His friend, however, had grabbed an empty garbage can and used it as a makeshift weapon, striking Yusei in the back and making him fall down. "Fudo, you might have been a bitch against Kiryu, but without your punk ass Enforcers you ain't shit! Now we're gonna get some payback for what you did, asshole!" the shorter Ambulator growled, already moving to make another move against Yusei as the bigger one stood up, rubbing his chin and trying to clear the haze from his eyes.

Hotsuma just watched on as Yuna would give Hajiime her own set of Beelze cards, stating that if he could use them he should. "Better see if you can; we could have gotten more, but we needed to get out before Sector caught us on the wrong side of the tracks...As the saying goes." he replied to the blue-haired associate, seeing him re-emerge some time later concealing a side-arm.

"You sure he knows how to use that thing?" he joked, knowing full well that Hajime could take care of himself if things came down to it. The fact that he helped hold down the fort while they were imprisoned proved that much.

However, he turned his attention as his lover demanded to go with him. "I had no intention of excluding you; as a matter of fact, I was just about to ask if you wanted to go along. Best both Yomi and the Disciples be represented, after all."

And moments later, they would both be riding off to where Hotsuma had last remembered Syd to be hanging out at. It was over on the East Side, near the coast of Satellite that faced the greater expanse of the ocean. The building they were holed up in was run-down, not thatit was any surprise he woudl chose such a location. And fitting to his wares, he chose an abandoned garage.

And once the both of them were inside, they would see the true extent: Young men and women in mechanic coveralls worked with wrenches, blowtorches and other tools to take apart and rebuild these D-Wheelers. Unseen to them both, a separate bay in the back would be used as a massive painting center. Offering a number of choices in both color scheme and custom designs for the discerning Riding Duelist.

"Hey, Sosuke!" Syd shouted, arms spread wide as the two embraced in a friendly manner. "Syd! Still going strong with the chop shop, eh?" The bald-headed man just laughed and patted him on the shoulder, "Man, chop shop sounds so dirty. What you see is a finely tuned machine, and I still make a pretty penny either scraping the junkers or selling these beauties to Satellite's best and snootiest."

Waving his hand, "Anyway, what brings you and your lady friend by? Mind, uh, introducing me?" Hotsuma laughed, "Well...Remember that favor you did for me a few years? Well, let's just see if..." He paused to furbish his last free copy of Beelze before continuing, "This can settle the score."

Syd's eyes widened as he took the card, "Oh shit, this is real?! Where did you score this?!" Hotsuma just snickered, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you...Let's just say it took a lot of bullshit to get it. But you gotta promise me, if you use this...You only use it against Sector." And then it was Syd's turn to laugh, "I wouldn't have it any other way...Unfortunately, I can't use this. Based on this, I need a DARK Tuner...All my Tuners are either EARTH or FIRE. That being said...I think I know someone who can use this, but since you meant this for me...Just want to make sure it's alright to hand it off."

"I said let fucking go!" A shocked gasp finally passed Fayth's lips as she felt the harsh slap land against her face. Just as painful as that would be the slight tug against her joint as this Yusei figured forced her assailant to let go. The coercion and abrupt act of her arm being released - though clearly in a very reluctant manner - had made it almost feel as if the socket had damn well been dislocated had her captor put more effort and strength into the hold.

What the fuck are you waiting for?! Go! Run!

Without seeming to miss a beat, two answers entered her mind. One, she had been seeking a guide out to aid in leading her to a card shop. Two - and the most important part of this current situation - she couldn't just leave Yusei.

Well ... she could.

But it wasn't in her nature. She wasn't a coward. Granted, she wasn't much of a fighter, either.

Can you even do anything? she pondered, quietly listening to all the voices. Each man had held a distinct tone to them. As such, it was becoming relatively easy to determine where Yusei was ... or at the very least, where he was near. This way, there would be no "friendly fire" in hurting the wrong person. As her head finally stopped spinning, Fayth turned her head. Even as she slowly sauntered towards the gang members, she had no idea if anything she was about to do would matter or not.

But she'd be damned if no one could try to accuse her of not making an effort with helping Yusei.

"FUCK OFF! LEAVE US ALONE!" she snarled, not speaking until after she gripped a handful of hair. Hopefully it was just one of the punks and not Yusei. But according to where everyone's voices had come from, it should be. Plus, going off statistics, there were three of them and only one potential ally. That meant she had a 1 in 4 chance of royally fucking up. It wasn't much. More than 0%, yes. But not so high that she was too worried about having found the right person.

She began yankng the person - hopefully - off of Yusei. When Fayth mustered as much courage as she could conjure, she hurled the figure against the nearest alley wall, not overly caring if their back or face would impact the brick wall first.

As long as the message was made crystal clear - and she hadn't made a really bad error - anything that happened after were things Fayth didn't overly worry about.

"Yes," Hajime swiftly replied, flashing a coy smirk to Hotsuma. "It is true. Many have called me a 'pretty boy'. I most definitely am; not even gonna try to sugar coat that. But I'm a very lethal, competent 'pretty boy' when I need to be." Offering both leaders a wave farewell, Hajime would disappear from sight after Yamichi finished the last of his preparations.

"Damn straight you weren't gonna leave me," Yuna half-jokingly muttered back, grinning as she stifled a yawn, getting up when Hotsuma was ready. In truth, part of her wouldn't have minded assigning today as one of her few 'lazy' days. Now that she knew Hotsuma had other plans, however, she didn't want to indulge in that. Those could always be scheduled, anyway. And really, the truth of the matter was Hotsuma always made fair points just like she did.

Them coming back and seeing the base fortified meant Sector hadn't found it out. Or, if they had, they at least failed to force their way in.

Either way, keeping the remainder of these Beelze cards would be too easy of a way to push their luck. She and Hotsuma would both need to be in the best physical shape when they blew their war horns versus Sector; or in the best possible condition, at least. Getting into too much trouble not long after escaping from Arcadia would not be a way to go about succeeding in that endeavor.

"Alright then. Ready when you are."

All the way there, Yuna would keep her healed arm wrapped tightly around Hotsuma's waist. Just as a precaution. She trusted him completely. Herself? Not nearly as much as her lover's ability to drive. A small smile crossed her face as she found what could easily be labeled a haven for D-Wheelers. Although Yuna always took damn good care of her own ride, it would be nice to know in case something did happen to it, she could have a back-up plan.

Given this seemed to be a very personal errand, confirmed with how she heard Hotsuma speak to this Syd, Yuna opted to stay quiet. She did, however, grin and at least introduce herself .... mostly. "The name's Yuna. Yuna Takeda." She purposely kept out what she actually did, and that she was the person in charge of Yomi. Given it seemed he knew Hotsuma as Sosuke, however, she doubted her lover would care or mind that.

The rest of the exchange would be silent on Yuna's behalf ... up until Syd finally relayed his one issue about Beelze.

"If his deck really does work that way, I don't see why not. That's another good reason I didn't take any for myself; I don't have any Dark Tuners. And even if I did ... it ruins my theme I've got going."

Of course, if he wanted to take precautions - getting a definite name or idea on who would receive and use the last Beelze - Yuna would more than understand. But she would otherwise leave the verdict completely up to Hotsuma.

Yusei grunted as he tried to stand up, looking behind him to see the Ambulator that had hit him from behind was walking up behind him. 'Freaking coward' he thought...Unaware of what was about to happen next.

Only when this strange woman started helping him did he manage to push himself up. And together, they would manage to fight off the attackers. Nothing without getting a few cuts and bruises of their own. "Bro, take him and let's go! This ain't over, Fudo!" And with the biggest guy carrying the one that Yusei laid out earlier, they took off. Leaving him alone with this woman.

Letting out a sigh, Yusei just said as he rolled his shoulders, "Well...Not exactly something I expect to happen every day." Turning to the woman, he gave a small smile and stated, "I'm being rude, aren't I?
Name's Yusei Fudo, as you heard them say. Sorry about that...Ambulators aren't the worst gang in Satellite, but they're a crude bunch." Extending a hand in greeting, he then asked, "I don't think I've seen you around before. Are you alright...Well, otherwise alright, I mean?"

"Smart lady; powerful as this card is, it seems hard to work with unless you have a deck for it. A pleasure to meet you, Yuna." Syd replied as he shook her hand in return, coming across as friendly for the most part. Part of it was because she clearly was a good friend of the Fiend; and even though his gang wasn't one to be trifled, he held respect for those that didn't take shit from Sector.
"But seriously, unlike you, Sosuke...I don't use Fiends. Lucky for you, I know someone who does."

"Syd, I figured as much; I just thought someone of your tenure would benefit having this card in your possession. Give those fucking pigs something to think about next time they try to shut down your operation." Syd just laughed, "Hey, speaking of which, either of you in the market for a new D-Wheeler? You heard about the WRGP, right?" At this, Sosuke raised a brow, making Syd just grin even more, "World Racing Grand Prix? Come on man, they just announced it over the radio this morning! It's the biggest tournament of the fucking year! You know how much a custom D-Wheeler will go for? We'll be rolling in cash! And the best part? I don't even need to source the machines; I got a perfectly good supply just across the bay."

Hotsuma just rolled his eyes, "Let it be you that turns a Tops event into your own cash cow...The ever-hungry opportunist." Syd just shrugged, "Hey, not my fault those trust-fund babies can't keep a proper eye on their rides. And besides, I got guys over in the Tops that would pay out the ass for these babies. Hell, I already got orders even though the tourney's not for another couple of months. Like this one, come here..."

He would lead them down a level, where there was a D-Wheeler painted in shining black, edged in lines of brilliant crimson. "Got this little number on special order...Guess how much? Two million yen!" At this Sosuke let out a cough of surprise, "Two million yen?! The fuck do these clowns get all that money?" Syd just chuckled, "Does it matter? And the sale amount's about three million, but I pay a third to my distributors, you know? Even so, that's twenty grand we get to split, my man. I'll send a couple stacks your way once the sale's done."

The Disciples' leader just smiled, "Now, about this guy you were giving Beelze to...He's on the level right?" Syd paused, crossing his arms "You serious, man? You think Imma let some Sector cocksucker get his grubby mitts in my business?" Hotsuma held up his hands, "Whoa, Syd, dial it back...No disrespect, just want to make sure we know who we're giving this card to." Syd could only rub his head, "Yeah I know...Even so, he ain't here right now. Mind if I hold onto this until he gets back?"

Hotsuma just nodded, "Yeah sure...But can you at least give me a name?" Syd just replied, "Soichi Kazama...Says he likes to be called Kaz for short. Picked him off the streets, said he was trying to get away from the North Side and all the Security pricks patrolling there. And yes, I checked him out...He's clean."

He then turned his attention to Yuna, "And Yuna, if you ever want an upgrade, I got the tools and the guys to make your ride into a real mean machine. Consider it a token of thanks to your buddy Sosuke...We're tight, he and I. And if you're not with Sector, you can call me a friend."

"GET OUT! GO THE FUCK AWAY!" Fayth repeated, throwing any and every kind of attack that came to her mind. From the rather simpler thoughts like straight punches to trying to execute a more professional-esque maneuver. As long as it could give her even a chance of getting out of this fight alive - and mostly well - Fayth didn't stop. She used her hearing to her advantage, paying careful attention to make sure her attacks never went in Yusei's direction -- or that they missed him if she had to risk it due to the proximity of the other assailants.

"Good ... riddance ... " she panted, slumping against the wall as they finally wised up enough to run and leave them alone. Her head tilted up as she lightly patted her pockets, letting out a sigh of relief when she felt her money hadn't been pick-pocketed.

"It is over. Right?" she finally asked, weakly smiling as Yusei spoke to her. It would have been just as easy for him to leave her behind, more so now that the fray had ended. But she was glad that hadn't been the case. Fayth knew deep down the only reason she got out of that wreck was because he had arrived at literally the best possible moment. Otherwise .... well ... she didn't dare think on what could have happened.

"N-No. Definitely not from around here. You ummm ... really saved my ass. Thanks."

Her hand waved through the air, dismissing the technical fact that he was indeed being - by the standards of etiquette - a tad rude, yes.

"Don't worry about it. I'm not exactly being very lady-like by cursing, now am I? Given how you just helped out, I can endure a bit more 'rudeness', so long as it's not past a certain extent. Anyway .... fuck. Whew. Save for a bit sore, yes. I'm pretty good, all things considered." Straightening herself to a more standing position rather than leaning, she lightly raised her hand and moved it ... until it lightly bumped into Yusei's hand instead of mere air. Her own gently wrapped around it as she shook his hand, taking note of the fact his grip was firm, and his flesh was a bit calloused.

"You feel more like a mechanic than a brawler. But if I'm wrong, feel free to ignore that. Sometimes I do over analyze people. So ... before they decided to play the roles of stalkers, I was kinda looking for something. Card shops; there are some here I'd assume, yes?"

If he hadn't picked up on her condition from how she managed to find his hand, he would be able to see the blindfold now. In the midst of Fayth throwing her attacks, the hood had fallen back. With her attention being on the fight and adrenaline rush, she hadn't noticed and realized yet that at last that much had happened.

Yuna smirked, stretching her own hand out and returning the gesture. "Well, I hope I'm smart. It's one of the few things you kinda need to survive in this shit hole, ya know?" Her hand lightly fell back at her side. It was really tempting to wrap it around Hotsuma's waist.

She probably would have .... had he come here for any reason except business.

But it was because he was here for a 'professional talk' that Yuna restrained herself from doing so. She temporarily pretended Syd was one of Hotsuma's direct members, and thus gave a more competent look as opposed to indicating they were way more than simply partners-in-crime.

Admittedly, Yuna's attention was piqued upon hearing about the WRPG. Her head slowly moved from side to side. "The what?" When she heard the response, her tongue clicked in annoyance. "Fuck. I don't know if my arm's gonna be well enough by then. I'll need both hands to steer. I'm sure I could win that with almost no trouble." Her head turned as she gave Hotsuma a coy smile. "You'd be the only worry, really. Assuming you joined, that is."

Turning back to Syd, Yuna's mouth opened as she started to decline the offer of a new D-Wheeler.

However ....

"Not a new one, but maybe I missed something? I usually keep all my parts and shit in pretty good shape. But we just ... got out of a really shitty place. It's where we got the Beelze cards from; I'll drop that much of a hint. Long story short, I don't know if they tampered with our rides. They say no, buuuuut ... I'll believe that when I see it. So perhaps some sort of an inspection? Making sure only things that need to be there are? Yeah. I could definitely do that much."

When Syd double checked to see if she was actually aligned with Sector or not, Yuna snickered lightly. "Sorry, sorry. Just trust me on this; if I were with those fuckers, I'd be waaaaaay smarter about letting anyone see me in public. And while I may look 'normal' due to my outfit, anyone with half a brain knows that doesn't mean shit. Nah. I'd rather die before joining their forces. You don't have to worry about me being with them. Not as a willing helper, anyway."

"It's no problem...Just glad to help out." Yusei said, attributing her near miss of his hand to exhaustion at first. After all, that was a rough fight they got into; and though he could hold his own, it was still a 3 v 2 against some fairly tough opponents. "I don't know about mechanic, but I do spend a lot of time tinkering with my Runner..."

He trailed off as this young woman would face him more directly, letting him see that which she normally kept concealed by the hood of her jacket. He was at kind of a loss for words, and he would give her quite the noticeable pause. He didn't want to make a rude statement, but at the same time he couldn't help asking, if only because it made the Ambulators' deed even more unforgivable.

"I know...It's probably none of my business, but...Are you blind?"

Adding on more tactfully, "I'm really sorry, that came out wrong...I just...Well, with how you moved you could have fooled me. If you want card shops though...Yeah, they're here. But they're not the typical card shops like in the Tops; and let's just say that the dealers aren't exactly trusting of new customers. I can take you to one, if you like."

Hotsuma and Syd both laughed as Yuna declared she would be able to win the WRGP no problem, the latter replying "Well, good to see not all the backbone's gone in this warzone. You picked a hell of a partner in crime, Sosuke" Hotsuma could laugh in return, "Yeah, I sure did...Definitely glad we met." Giving her a sly wink at her statement, he would then state, "I dunno...I think I'd have a bit of trouble; if this is as huge as Syd's saying it is, the competition would be insane."

The bald man would just cross his arms, "Well you know, I'd join in their tournament...Unfortunately, my ugly mug's wanted for god knows how many counts of grand larceny. And maybe some counts of assaulting an officer..." Hotsuma replying with, "You think I'm Mr. Clean? Moment I show up, those dicks'll be waiting with the cuffs and pitchforks. I know those assholes are all too eager to see my ass thrown in the Facility."

As Yuna would take him up on his offer, Syd just asked, "Well, sure...Like I said, I can make your ride one mean machine. You got it with you?" Hotsuma just shook his head, "Nah, we both rode here on mine; having a busted wing isn't exactly conducive to good riding, you know. But tell you what, you keep the shop open, I'll drive it over here when we get back." And after the two leaders would shake on it, Syd just said, "You got a deal, Sosuke...But try to make it quick, yeah? We normally shut down before dark; don't want the sounds of grinders and torches drawing too much attention, yeah?"

Syd just nodded, and soon enough the two lovers - unknown to Syd and his gang - would be on their way back to Yomi. "Sorry if I stepped over the line there...Just figured it would be best if I took your Runner over to Syd's shop and let you rest up. And don't worry; I might not know all the ins and outs of how these things work, but I have a pretty good idea of what goes where."

Flashing Yuna a grin, he continued as they would arrive back at Yomi, "And I know Syd, he'll do good on his word. Hell, I might even see if he can squeeze some time to make some upgrades on mine later on."

Fayth smiled, glad to hear her senses were still as keen as ever. Her touch was usually used when dueling, something Jack had noted. Trying to determine traits from an actual person was, for one, something that Fayth didn't often do. Only when it was necessary. And if only to wash away the last bits of doubt as to whether Yusei was a truly decent person or not, it had been why she bothered doing so. Two, more importantly, it was much harder to accurately perform. His hands could have been in their state for a number of reasons, ranging from more simple, medical ones to partaking in something else besides tinkering.

The mini-celebration became short-lived, however, as Yusei's response slowed ... and finally came to a complete stop.

" ... What is it?"

Had he heard something she missed? It wasn't something that often happened, but it wasn't impossible either. When Yusei spoke again, she almost immediately regretted asking what made him stop temporarily talking. Although ... to be somewhat fair, it sounded like he would have done so regardless. It was only a matter of time and, alas, an inevitable question that everyone always asked the moment they picked up on if this was even a possibility or not.

I know...It's probably none of my business, but...Are you blind?"

Fayth's heart stopped as she raised her hands quickly up. When they noticed the hood was down, she let out an irritated sigh. "Shit," she muttered, slowly nodding as she pulled the fabric up. "I ... yes. I am. That wasn't their doing, if you're trying to figure that out. I've.... been like this for about a year or two."

In all honesty, it was never the fact she was blind that bothered her. It was how it had occurred. It had been done in the most brutal, unnatural possible way. A few Sector agents had been led to her no thanks to the Obelisk Force. When she was cornered and refused to betray Reiji and where he had been hiding ... they literally yanked her eyes out. Upon finding out, Reiji agreed to take responsibility in any shape or form.

Hence one small reason he was able to send money over with no real troubles. He owed her for the display of loyalty Fayth had shown him. It seemed only right that Reiji could continue assisting in the most effective ways possible.

"Ummm ... good. Okay then."

Her face burned, mainly from annoyance more than herself, as well as tinges of embarrassment. Fayth's main saving grace was that at least Yusei hadn't seen behind the blindfold, nor tried to make her take it off. In fact, only Reiji knew what was under the cloth, as he had been the one to find Fayth after her brutal blinding.

"I probably will be able to hear you fine. But given the recent run in ... excuse me."

Fayth walked forward and, once she detected Yusei's jacket, lightly grabbed onto it. Now the new set of crimson painting her face was fueled on by a bit more embarrassment. She probably looked like a sibling holding onto their elder brother ... maybe? They weren't twins in appearance, but it could be a believable lie if they so desired ot use it. And according to his voice, he didn't sound much older than her, if he even was. One to two years at most, otherwise there was a good chance they were the same age.

"So umm ... we're going on your Wheeler, huh?"

... Of course, ya dipshit. You already tried walking. Look what that almost earned you!

Fighting off the urge to smack herself upside the head, Fayth followed Yusei, holding tightly onto his shoulders when they arrived in front of his D-Wheeler.

Yuna immediately teased Hotsuma the moment she heard him actually hesitate on even wanting to join the WRGP. "Oh-ho, what's this? Has the Fiend of Satellite actually admitted he's scared of something? Now that's amusing to even think about!" Sure, he had his points. The competition would have a very high chance of being as fierce as Hotsuma implied. Still, that had never stopped him before. And at least in that regard, it truly was an intriguing thought to ponder on.

The rest of the exchange went smoother than Yuna could have ever guessed.

... Not that she doubted Hotsuma. Everyone she didn't know, though, was a different story.

But hell, not only had she found a different ally, but it was one who was a damn good mechanic!

"So why did you never tell me about Syd way sooner? I mean ... like I said, I keep my ride in good shape. Still, that sorta information would have been amazing to have much sooner." Yuna smirked as she wrapped her good arm around Hotsuma's waist, purposely avoiding any overly intimate spots. Barely, though; only a good few inches were keeping her hands from trailing just a bit too far south. "No though. You didn't step over any lines. Don't worry about that."

Leaning forward, Yuna snuck a quick kiss, landing it against the nape of Hotsuma's neck before sitting back down in the seat.

"I'll let you focus ... for now."

Hotsuma would practically be able to feel the wink as they drove away, reaching the base of Yomi soon enough. "Hmmm," she mused, taking note of how quiet the interior was, "Think that means they're all still out and about? And if so ... how should we kill time?"

Yusei had figured the Ambulators weren't responsible; cruel as they were, they didn't often cause that level of damage unless they absolutely had to. And their biggest had proved he could subdue her with relative ease; who knows what they might have done if someone, even if it wasn't him, hadn't intervened.

Only when she grabbed his jacket did he break from his train of thought, a soft smile on his lips as he replied, "Yeah, we'll be taking mine...The place I'm thinking of is a good ways away from here. Shouldn't take too long though; I know some shortcuts we can take."

Once they were both situated, Yusei gunned the engine of his Runner and roared through the streets of the Satellite District. He could only wonder what this girl was doing here; being a woman here was bad enough, especially with Sector around. Add in total blindness? Yusei had to credit her for her strength to come here of her own volition.

It wasn't too long before he found a place that dealt in cards; much to his own credit, the place seemed dilapidated, run down. However, like most good hideouts, this was a ruse to hide the secrets within. This was a place where if people wanted cards without getting noticed by Sector, they could get them.

"Yusei! Been a while since you visited poor old me!" said the shopkeeper, Yusei just chuckling and replying honestly "Sorry...Been a little busy as of late." The shopkeeper just smiled, "Ah, no worries...Whose your lady friend though? I don't think I've seen her around before." The young man just stated, "She's looking for a card shop...And if you could help her out, that would be greatly appreciated."

The shopkeeper just leaned forward on his elbows, "Well now, depends what she's looking for...And as pretty as you are, young lady, I'm afraid it's cash only. I'm sure you can understand." Yusei just narrowed his eyes, "I don't think she's like that; if she asked me to help her find one, I'm sure she has the funds somehow to pay you." The shopkeeper seemed to back off, "Oh no no, I wasn't implying that, my boy...It's just that Sector's been snooping around, and some of their agents have tried using those credit things. Trying to make a paper trail against me and all that, it's also why I don't give receipts, haha."

Naturally, Syd was laughing his ass off when Yuna teased him about the hesitation; it was good to know that he was more focused on making money than actually trying to make any moves against Yuna. But Syd, even though he wasn't a class act, never really got in trouble for that; his was always stealing shit, be it Duel Runners or even Sector firearms.

"Not that I didn't trust you...It's just that it's always good to have a fall-back in case shit goes sideways, you know?" Hotsuma replied to her question; true, he could have told her about it, even when she was Yukio. Even so, he was more invested in harassing Sector and giving the 'boys in blue' the beatdowns they deserved at the time, so him telling her just slipped his mind, really.

Only when they got back did he make his own suggestive advance, his hands gripping her rear and pulling her extremely close. "Well...I certainly have an idea for that..." he leaned down a bit, whispering into her ear...Only to pull back and touch her on the nose. "But, you'll have to wait...Gotta get your Runner over to Syd's before he closes up for the night."

Making sure to grab his tow cable out from inside the walls of Yomi, he gave Yuna a hearty wave and took off, the sound of his engine dying off as he went further and further away; and it would be a little while before he would back. Stowing his own D-Wheeler in the safe spot it had always been in, out of sight in case Sector came snooping around.

"I'm back" Hotsuma said, having only been gone for about half an hour as he slipped into her room. "Syd says your ride should be ready tomorrow afternoon...And that you'll like the upgrades he did to it." Giving her a sly grin, he then added on, "So, since we seem to have a little alone time, what exactly did you want to do?"

On the way to the card shop, Fayth stayed silent. Partly because it wasn't in her to prod for personal information, and also she simply needed to focus on her goal. She had few doubts getting to the card shop would be an issue; it'd be after that, more likely than not. From returning to her hidden home in the Tops to ensuring her deck was ready within a few days and that was just a small part of her to-do list. It was actually much longer than usual. And all just because her Duel Disk suddenly decided to fail ... at least with teleporting her back.

When the D-Wheeler finally stopped, she found Yusei's sleeve and walked alongside him. Her empty hand, meanwhile, stretched out beside her. Any wall or surface seh brushed against was noted. It helped her get a visual idea on how big or small the place may be, which would make navigating around this shop much simpler.

Anyone else probably would have relied on a guide or assistant.

Unfortunately, Fayth had about as much pride as Jack. Truthfully, she'd hated the fact she was carrying Reiji's money. But she could accept it simply because the circumstances called for it. It was one of those 'necessary evil's. Having to ask Yusei every single thing she needed to know?

Not yet.

So, until then, she'd try to adapt on her own despite her handicap.

"I need to ... build a different deck for the upcoming tournament. Money won't be an issue."

Reaching down, she pulled out the separated but copious amount of money, allowing it to be seen for a good thirty seconds before pocketing it away.

"I'm assuming you somehow split all the cards up by something, be it element, type, archetype, or something else, yes? It'd make figuring out which cards to purchase that much simpler, but I can figure something else out if absolutely necessary."

Yuna shrugged, deciding Hotsuma's concerns were more than fair enough. Betrayal was rather common, particularly within gangs or other groups that supposedly had a large amount of 'allies' or 'supporters'. The more she thought on it ... yeah. It was just a tactic that he'd gone through with to ensure things stayed smoothly even if at least one factor or individual screwed him over. And really, she would have done the same if it felt necessary.

Her tongue traced over her lips as she felt Hotsuma teasing and fondling her rear ....

Only to pull back as quickly as the gestures had all began.

"Awww~" she half-pouted, clicking her tongue in light annoyance. "You're making up for that when you get back. Just so you know." Hotsuma would note that wasn't a question nor even a suggestion. More akin to a full-fledged order.

By the time he returned, he would notice a huge difference in the way Yuna looked. Her hair was still a bit damp, indicating she'd recently taken a shower. But the biggest change - likely - was what she was now wearing. And given they hadn't confirmed they were completely alone, it was no doubt a rather bold move to see her in little more than a very revealing negligee.

"Well ... " she stated, moving her hands down and pointing at herself - namely the outfit, "I do hope I've given you a good enough hint on what we can do. But god help me, if I have to spell it any further, I'll smack you upside the head."

Pivoting on her feet, which were temporarily adorned in a pair of slippers to avoid having her feet directly touch the dusty floor, she began walking towards her room. Every now again, she made sure to purposely sway her hips ... adding extra incentive just in case it was needed.

Both Yusei and the shopkeeper seemed quite taken aback as she showed them the amount of money she was holding; with that much in her pocket, she was certainly from the Tops. She had to be, as she didn't quite have the look of running with the Duel Gangs that nestled into every dark nook and cranny in the Satellite. Now Yusei was curious; the Tops had plenty of good card shops, so why risk coming all the way here just for cards?

Still, the shopkeeper wasn't about to complain; this meant all the more reason to charge top dollar for his cards. After all, getting them into the Satellite was no easy feat; ever since those damned hooligans poked Sector in the ass, the cops had been crawling more fervently over every inch of the island. And despite how many places there were, there were also only so many places to hide.

"As a matter of fact, I do; helps me keep track of inventory, you see. I also have them sorted by rarity, but that's more for market value than anything else to be perfectly honest." he replied to her question, crossing over to the other side to start pulling out certain stacks of cards, laying them face-up for her to peruse. And he knew Yusei; a good kid, even if he landed himself on Sector's bad side more than once.

"Thankfully, I just received a new shipment of cards, so I'll have a larger selection this time around...What'll it be, miss? Machines? Dragons? Plants?...Yes, I see it. You're a Plant user, I can tell." he then asked her, a small smile on his face; Plants weren't something that were often used, but could be surprisingly lethal in the right hands.

Hotsuma let out a low whistle and chuckle as he would find his lover dressed in rather provocative clothes. Especially since neither of them knew if everyone was gone, this was exceptionally bold of her. Even more so considering she had just revealed to everyone in Yomi that she was a woman.

"Well, I was thinking of Dueling...But this is definitely a more enticing option." Hotsuma playfully teased, knowing full well what she was offering; of course, it was something he had hinted at before leaving. But even so, it was nice to see she wasn't totally against it...Especially since she was wearing that little number.

Following her into her room, he took off his jacket and tossed it aside, closing and locking the door before sliding up right behind her. Hands coming to rest on her hips, he leaned down and kissed the side of her neck, whispering heatedly into her ear, "I can't help but wonder where you pulled this little number from...It's almost like you wanted someone to see you like this..." He then pulled her waist back, letting her feel the growing arousal pressing against her backside, "I'm just glad it was me."

Giving her a teasing nip of the neck, he then finished with one hand coming up to clasp over her breast, fingers gently working the mound and saying, "How's this for making up, hmm? And don't worry...I'm not going anywhere the rest of the night. All the more time for us to enjoy our freedom."

"Great. That sounds perfect."

Indeed, the rarity was but a bonus. If she got things that were deemed to be 'harder to find' than others, so be it. But she intended to look at chemistry. Seeing what cards could work with one another and support each other rather decently. Sometimes, it wasn't the really shiny cards that were the best ones, but the surprisingly common ones. The kind that most people would just ignore or turn a blind eye to, thinking them to be useless.

Ah well. She'd find out soon enough how this deck would end up looking -- to an extent, of course.

Small tinges of red flooded her face. Fayth wasn't used to being read so easily in any aspect. But somehow, she was practically an open book to almost everyone she met in this dimension. It was an odd feeling. Something in between vulnerable and impressive all at once. "Normally, yes. That is what I typically use. However, that deck has been temporarily misplaced. Hence why I said I needed to build a new deck."

It was a white lie. The truth was she knew going into the tournament with her Sylvan deck would earn Fayth nothing but tons of trouble. For an array of reasons. She had decided to transfer certain cards to that deck, which would probably be implied by the fact she wouldn't buy an entire set of 40 cards. Still, a good chunk of her deck - about 90 or more percent - wasn't going to be used. Jack had leverage, knowledge that Fayth couldn't afford to have used against her.

So if she went and played with a perfectly 'normal' and legal deck, she'd be fine. Jack wouldn't be able to do shit to her.

"I do, however, still have some spare cards in my place. And ... I'm thinking they'd work best with .... "

She paused, trying to determine what would be a good match. She'd narrowed it down while Yusei drove her here. Admittedly, Dragons had been one thing she considered. Star Eater would fit in with no troubles. But ... no. They were an over-used type. Fayth wasn't like that. She preferred challenging herself in any way that could be done.

"Fairies. Angels. Whatever you want to call them. I think I'll go with those."

"Hmph. I find that hard to believe. We had to do too much training and dueling at Arcadia. You really want to do more of that after we just recently earned our freedom from there?"

A smug smirk crossed her face as she entered her room soon enough, removing the slippers off her feet. Her head started to turn, but stopped as she felt a light yet firm grip around her. Her grin widened as she chuckled softly. "If I had to be perfectly honest," she replied, making sure to be sincere but very careful on her answer, "Sometimes, yes, I did want to be found out. It was kinda a relief when you walked in on my actual self, in a way. It was getting old ... and the bandages? Ugh. Don't get me started on why those were such a pain to deal with."

And yet, there was so much more.

... But she couldn't confess it. It'd come off as a pretty horrible thing to say. It would have been true, too, which likely would have made it worse for her.

So Yuna simply opted to relay a confession she felt confident Hotsuma would understand and not care about.

"Mmmmmh .... " Yuna moaned, eliciting a content sigh as the soft kisses and gropes to her breasts started up. "Definitely a nice start. Just like you said though; I intend to enjoy every second of this as well." Carefully, Yuna lifted her arm out of the sling, setting the bandage aside. Her right arm stayed dangling at her side. Meanwhile, Yuna's left snuck behind and, after a bit of feeling around, lightly wrapped around the hardening member prodding her rear. Her hands began lightly trailing along the clothed member, giving it even more stimulation so that when all of the clothes were removed, there would be no doubts Hotsuma's body would be as ready as Yuna's.

"Fairy-types, hmm?" the shopkeeper queried, rubbing his chin in thought as he stared at this young lady. Interesting she would change archetypes so quickly; most duelists he'd known stayed with that archetype for the duration of their careers. Even if her deck was misplaced, he would have thought she would go with what she'd known.

Oh well, he was more than happy to assist.

"Interesting choice...Fairy-type monsters aren't the usual choice for most, but they can be surprisingly effective with the right cards. One moment" he then continued, going to the back of his shop behind closed doors. Yusei took this time to talk to Fayth more personally, "Just a fair bit of warning. I get you were trying to show you're good for the money, but this shopkeeper's a bit of a scam artist. Now that he's seen how much you've got, he'll try to seriously upscale the price." he spoke in a low tone, honestly warning her of what the man was going to try even if she might have already suspected.

But not long after the shopkeeper left did he return, carrying another few stacks of cards and after putting away the ones he had displayed, he laid out some of the ones he had gone to take from the backroom.

"Well, here are some I have..." he started, motioning to his left. "Shining Angel is a good run if you have other monsters you can summon. Like Radiant Jeral." Pausing for a moment, he then continued, "If you're looking for Tuners, I suggest either Herald of Orange Light as it can double as a hand-trap. Or if you're looking for flexibility, there's the magic card - Lightwave Tuning. Makes any level four LIGHT monster a Tuner for that turn."

He then motioned to the other set of cards, "These are the some of the other Spells and Traps that Fairy users run. Valhalla, Sanctuary in the Sky, Divine Wrath." Making one last motion, he pointed to a specific monster card. "Athena...An exceptionally powerful monster. I would recommend pairing her with Nova Summoner and Airknight Parshath, especially if you decide to end up using the Sanctuary in the Sky field magic."

Giving her a slight smile, one of knowing that she would make him a deal of money today, he then asked "I'll be right here if you have any questions, young lady."

Hotsuma just laughed, "Yeah, but at least with the two of us it would be for fun...Nothing like that dick Divine was doing. But...As I said, this is a pleasant - and better - alternative." Continuing his touches, he gave a low groan as her free hand started to stroke him over his jeans.

"Guess I'm still a little over-dressed, huh...Lemme just fix that." he added, taking his shirt off and throwing it aside. Letting her feel his bare skin against her back, and his hand drifting lower between her legs. He'd take care to avoid going too rough; her arm was still healing after all, and there was little doubt he could easily injure it again if things went too crazy.

"I have to say, I am glad we did come clean about each other though. Not just for this, I mean...though I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a nice bonus" Hotsuma whispered into her ear teasingly, his hand near her breast coming up to help her slide the negligee off while the other near her sex slipped two fingers inside, starting to help stimulate her as well.
