Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Amaya almost appeared out of no where, and upon seeing blood splattered on her clothes, she rushed over. "Akihime-sama, are you ok?"

Akihime threw her arms around Amaya and just held her, fighting new tears, "I'm sorry..." She muttered, "She's right, it was my fault...please forgive me..."

Amaya wasn't sure what Akihime was talking about. "Akihime-sama, no, please." She said softly, holding Akihime and petting her hair gently. "Whatever it was, it wasn't your fault." She said gently.

She held her tighter, "If I hadn't been so stubborn before, you wouldn't have died..." She whimpered, "I'm so sorry, Ama, I never wanted this to happen to you..."

"Enough of that." Amaya pulled Akihime's chin up so she could look her in the eyes. "You did what you had to. I don't blame you." She gently brushed the tears away with her thumb. "Now hush, you must rest before the battle."

She nodded, "Right...you're right...I should go lie down for a bit. Make sure Ishida and his weapon are prepared, please.." She said, drying her eyes.

She gave a slight nod. "I'll take care of everything." She said softly, kissing the top of Akihime's head before shooing her off.

((Time for the plan!!))

Akihime would lead her army to Kai later that day, and though it took time to reach the province, they were still a formidable looking force. The soldiers didn't look remotely fatigued as they marched, Mitsunari perched on his horse as he rode behind Akihime, Tachi strapped to his belt in his weapon form. Citizens parted like the sea as they passed, watching in horror as the purple hued militia marched toward Ueda Castle.

Sasuke appeared before Yukimura, bowed lowly out of respect as usual, "Dana, I've been informed by my scouts that the Toyotomi army is marching on us as we speak." He said, "Akihime leads them."

Yukimura had hard slept a wink since word got back that Daihachi was captured and his men slain. He was in his full armor, all except for his helm, which sat on the table beside him. "Akihime..?" His scowl deepened and he looked down at the map that was marked before him. "Is Daihachi with them?" It was clear he was worn thin, losing his wife, then his son? Anyone would've broken far before that.

"Only if you have the strength. I can't afford to lose you too." He looked up at Sasuke. "Not again." He turned his attention to the map once more. "Send some of your men, scout the ranks of the enemy army one more time. We need to find my son. Have them pull back if it's too dangerous. I won't lose good men if I don't have to."

"Hai." Sasuke vanished without another word, telling his scouts to look for Daihachi. He went looking too, could never have too many eyes on the field. He scowled as he looked over the forces. Did she really bring her whole army with her? Was she planning on taking the castle or die trying? If her death was an option, Sasuke was more than willing to take it.
"Sasuke-sama," a young woman bowed carefully on a branch behind him, "we found Daihachi-sama. He's in the back of the forces, in chains. He looks like he's been tortured."
"Arigatou. Find the others and fall back. Wait for my order."
"Hai." She said and Sasuke returned to Yukimura.

Upon Sasuke's quick return, Yukimura stopped pacing the room and moved over to him. "Any word?" Yukimura could feel that something had happened out on the field.

"Daihachi is with them. He isn't wounded but there are signs of torture. We will wait to retrieve him, we don't know what Akihime has planned." He said, "But I know she isn't going to kill him."

Yukimura felt his heart drop into his stomach when he heard torture. "No, I'm going now. Ready the troops, have them on standby. I'm going to speak with her." He said, then put his helm on, gathered his spears and went to mount his horse.

Yukimura did infact show in a very short amount of time, worry lines sketched deep into his face as he slowed his horse and stared at Akihime, a pained look in his eyes. "Akihime.."

"Ohayo, Yukimura-sama.." She greeted with the same honeyed tone as she did before this all happened, "You look unwell, my husband...have you been sleeping?"

"Where is Daihachi?" He cut her off before she could speak another word. He was serious, he didn't even smile when he saw her, even though he wanted nothing more than to hold his wife again.

"Of course." A soft voice could be heard from behind Akihime's horse, moving forward with a chain in hand, and attached to that chain was Daihachi. Yukimura went rigid when he saw his son in chains.
"Release him now!"

"Tou-san!" Daihachi moved forward but was instantly tugged back. Akihime smiled sadly at Yukimura.
"I had such a grand plan for Kai, Yukimura-sama. My rule would be a kind one, and you would be the figurehead. Our son would be our top general of our army and everything would be at peace."

"And all you had to do was kill your way here!" He gripped the reigns of his horse tightly. "Let Daihachi go." He said lowly. "He doesn't need to be here like this."
