He didn't look much older for a man in his late thirties. But his chest ached when he saw her. She hadn't changed at all. She was still so beautiful. He had to look away. "Dammit." He muttered.
She felt her face flush hot as the memory came back, and as Masamune's heart ached at the memory, so did hers. "I was hurt... And I was selfish.. And stupid." She felt tears swell in her eyes.
"Clearly." He stated firmly, shooting her a light glare, "He was my son. I know what I did to you was wrong, and I know I hurt you, but Hidemune didn't deserve it...!"
"She couldn't have gotten very far. There's no way Hidemune could have sent her away, he had no idea you were coming." He said, brows furrowed in confusion.
"I mean, if you want me to sound cheesy, I could say it's cuz we're destined for each other." He told her, smiling faintly, "I need to move on, and now is as good a time as any."
