Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"Gods, where is she...?!" Akihime had practically torn the estate apart looking for Amaya, only to find no sign of her. She was growing actually rather terrified for her missing companion, which was concerning for her personally because she had never felt this worried for Amaya's safety before. "Ama!! Ama, where are you, stop hiding!!" She called.

There was no response, Amaya always had responded immediately, no matter where she was, she always came straight to Akihime when she called. Not this time. There was no Hide or hair of Amaya, almost as if she had ceased to exist.

"Amaya, this isn't funny! You come out of hiding this instant!"
"Lost your toy, priestess?" Sasuke's voice sneered. Akihime turned sharply and glared up at the assassin.
"What did you do to Amaya? Where is she?"
"Haven't seen her. But she'll be a little less willing to do what you ask now."
"You detestable, disgusting, dung mouthed maggot. If Yukimura wouldn't grow suspicious of your absence, I'd have your head on a Gods damned pike." She spat.

"Akihime-sama.." One of Kai's elderly house keepers approached Akihime with a cloth-wrapped bundle in hand. "This was asked to be delivered directly to you... from whom I'm unsure, he wouldn't say, and wasn't presenting their clan on their clothing." He held out the bundle, hands shaking slightly.

Akihime didn't like the sudden tenseness in the air. She gingerly took the cloth and thanked her softly, cautiously unwrapping the cloth. Her heart was pounding in her ears.

Wrapped inside the cloth- no, the blood-stained cloth - was a severed arm, a pale, thin severed arm. A message was carved into the forearm: "Return the shard." Worse yet the severed arm clutched something in its hand; white hair and two severed pointed ears.

Akihime screamed and dropped it, falling backward hard on her rear. Sasuke moved and covered it quickly before looking back at Akihime. Her eyes were glued to the cloth in raw horror, body shaking hard. "A-Ama...no, what...what has happened...?"
"What shard do they mean?" Sasuke asked firmly. She looked up at him before realization lit up in her eyes. She shot up and rushed off, "Yukimura-sama!!"
"Leave him out of this!" Sasuke sneered, chasing after her.

Yukimura had just finished up a meeting with the leader of one of the villages of Kai when he heard Akihime calling for him. He excused himself and headed toward where he heard Akihime. "Akihime-dono? Is everything alright?"

"Date has taken Amaya and has done something most barbaric! Amaya has gone missing earlier this week and he has her, he sent me her severed arm and her ears demanding something of me that I do not have! I don't even know if he will return Amaya to me, I'm so scared, I don't know what to do!!" She actually began to sob, though Sasuke didn't buy it.

Yukimura felt sick to his stomach, there was no way Masamune had lost his way so badly he'd commit such a villianous act. But he had done this before, perhaps he was on a downward spiral. "You're sure it's Date?"

Amaya lay on the ground of the prison cell unmoving, covered in blood and barely conscious. Her arm had been severed just below the shoulder and was hastily tied off so she wouldn't bleed to death. A puddle of blood formed beneath her regardless, the stump left unprotected or even properly treated, and her hair had been butchered, most likely from when her ears were removed; those were also left untreated. Her eyes where half-lidded, showing her weakened state as she lay helpless on the floor.

"I'm positive, I can feel his energies on the cloth, he has her, Yukimura-sama, he has my Ama!" She cried.

The dungeon door opened and steps made their way slowly to Amaya. Kojurou moved over with medical supplies and began properly treating the wounds his master inflicted on this shell of a once proud woman.

Yukimura scowled hard and nodded. "I'll gather a small force," He looked to Sasuke. "Sasuke, scout ahead, find out where Amaya is being held."

Amaya didn't move, even when Kojurou begain to treat her wounds, only making a soft moan of pain every so often. "Akihime... sama.."

Sasuke nodded and vanished. Akihime covered her face as she cried. She had never felt this distraught in years, she hated it, it was such a disgusting feeling. It made her feel like she was made of sludge and muck. "Oh, my Amaya..."

Kojurou hesitated for a moment before he resumed cleaning the wounds. He didn't speak to her.

Yukimura put his hands on her shoulders, squeezing them tightly. "We'll get her back." He said softly, then hurried to gather a small platoon of men to ready themselves to head to the land of Oshuu.

Akihime changed out of her regal robes and into something easier to run around in before heading off to get a horse ready to follow Yukimura to Oshuu.

Yukimura felt conflicted, Masamune and him were good rivals- even friends, he knew Masamune to be an honorable man, but his actions left a bitter taste in his mouth. The ride to Oahu was mostly silent, only did the silence break, could the tension be felt. Yukimura found Sasuke in wait to report in by the time they arrived, Yukimura dismounting his horse and moving to Sasuke.

"Everything is pretty quiet, dana." Sasuke reported, "Masamune is in his study and his Right Eye is down caring for Amaya's wounds." The assassin watched as Akihime marched out from the small platoon of warriors to the Date estate and made a face. "And there goes the witch."

Yukimura shot a glare at Sasuke for the witch comment, but proceeded to hurry after Akihime. "Akihime-dono, wait, storming the castle isn't safe..!"

Akihime stopped and turned to him, "I understand that you are worried about me, and yes it is indeed very dangerous but I will not let you get in the way of my rescuing Amaya." She said firmly.

Yukimura frowned a bit, but nodded. "Alright, we'll get her back." He said, grabbing his spears and following her inside of Masamune's castle.

"I understand, and I promise you, I'll return her to you." He said, leading his platoon into the castle with Akihime. "Let's head to the prison cells, we should secure Amaya immediately, ill confront Masamune-dono once we have her."

"Thank you..." Akihime muttered. As they moved through the castle, people were scrambling about to try and get Masamune. Kojurou finished tending to Amaya's wounds, sitting back to make sure he didn't miss anything.

As soon as Kojurou finished tending to Amaya's wounds, the door to the cell opened up, many different footsteps entering as Yukimura made his way to the cell where Amaya was being held. "Katakura-dono.." Yukimura gave a slight nod of his head, but his face was stern; he was here on business. "Please relinquish Amaya-dono to us."

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I cannot." Kojurou replied, standing and editing the cell, "Please take your small army and leave before Masamune-sama declares war. And he will declare war."
