Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Amaya suddenly went rigid, then limp, collapsing to the ground and convulsing, a bit of foam coming from her mouth as she seized.

Amaya was still shedding tears as she convulsed, and even after Akihime administered the potion, it took her a few minutes to fall still.

She sighed softly and cleaned the throth from Amaya's mouth before resting her head in her lap, petting her hair gently, "What am I going to do with you...?"

Amaya's eyes were completely lifeless now, but she still drew breath; staring blankly up at the ceiling and breathing slowly.

Amaya would remain in this state for weeks, having to be completely taken care of by Akihime. The entire time she only stared blankly ahead of her, not even reacting when Akihime fed her - or at least tried to. After an especially long day for Akihime, Amaya had been left all on her own for the evening, meaning when a portal opened up beside her, no one was there to keep her from wandering in. Amaya did tend to wander in this state, but Akihime often kept her in bed; this time there was no one to stop her when she dissapeared through the portal, and vanished.

When Akihime returned to tend to her companion, she gasped in horror when she saw Amaya was gone. She rushed out to hunt her down, panic hammering in her chest.

Amaya stood in a long corridor that she didn't recognize, but with her consciousness floating ina sea of calm deep in her head, she didn't mind too much. Walking down the hallway slowly, her bare feet made soft noises on the stone floor, only dressed in her nightgown.

Amaya paid no mind to anyone, simply walking without a purpose or destination, almost like he was in a trance.

Amaya looked lost and empty, swaying slightly on her feet as she slowly brought her gaze up to Masamune's face. Did she know this man? Yes. Wait, no? He was speaking now, it all sounded like it was coming through an ocean of water, so she simply stared. What was he saying? He seemed mad, had she done something wrong? Yes. No? Yes. She didn't know. Amaya gave no answer to Masamune, staring at him blankly with her mouth slightly agape.

He grabbed her wrist roughly and dragged her away, down to the dungeons where he shackled her to the wall and left her there as he thought of what to do next.

Amaya didn't struggle one bit, stumbling after him quietly, sitting on the floor of the cell once she was chained. Like before, she simply stared blankly ahead, saying nothing.

The woman chained to the wall seemed to be off in her own world, but she actually answered him. "Kai.." She murmured.

"No.." She still didn't meet Masamune's eye, staring off at the far wall, her eyes half-lidded. Her wounds had been healed by Akihime, but it was apparent she had been in a recent, rather rough scuffle of sorts. Her head was too clouded to focus, even saying simple answers used a great deal of concentration, and in her head, she wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, just another voice asking questions.

She was silent for a while, but it didn't seem like it was intentional, almost like she had spaced out once more. "Gone.." Perhaps she didn't know? No, she had to know, she was Akihime's righthand man, she knew everything Akihime did. She had to be lying, there was no way Akihime would go through all that trouble to take a part of Megohime, only to turn around and toss it away.

She gave a small nod, blinking slowly. "Gone.." She repeated back to him; Akihime must've done something to Amaya to keep her from talking if she had been captured, but she had been this way to start with.

Amaya turned her head finally, slowly looking to Masamune, looking up from his feet, all the way until she finally met his gaze. Her eyes were hollow, empty and without light. Megohime glinted in Masamune's hand, silent the entire time Masamune spoke, not even speaking to Masamune.
