Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Amaya landed on the ground with a thud, wheezing and coughing before getting back to her feet. "Don't touch her!" She coughed, trying to get back to Akihime.
"No! No! No!" She screamed, pulling hard against the chains, kicking and thrashing at Sasuke. "She's a good person! She is!"

The man unsheathed his sword and Akihime gasped as he advanced on Amaya. "No!! Spare her, please, she's all I have left!" She begged. The man looked back, "Mages deserve nothing but death." He stated before turning back to Amaya. Akihime clammered to her feet, "Stop!"
"She beats you, insults you, uses you for nothing more than her own personal gain! How is that good?!" He snapped.

"You don't know what's she's done for me! You know nothing of the pain she endured for me!!" She screeched back.
Amaya had acted without thinking, punching the raider before her with all the night a scrawny orphan girl had, her white hair and soot-streaked face making her eyes look all that much more crazed. "Akihime! Run!" She punched the man again, willing to give her life to give the young girl a chance to escape.

"No, I won't leave you!" Akihime cried, shaking in fear. The man only stumbled before returning Amaya's punch with one of his own, sending her flying backwards. He advanced on her again, blade raised high. "STOP!!! LEAVE HER ALONE!!" Akihime yelled and the man suddenly burst into mush, blood spraying all over Amaya and Akihime. The young priestess had used her first ever offensive spell, an unstable wave of magic that did more than the intended effect. The other raiders stepped away in fear before running.
"I know that at this point, none of it matters anymore! Not to her!" He growled.

"You're wrong! You're wrong! You're.." Her body went limp and her head lulled forward, she was unconscious. Too much strain had been put on her and caused her to blackout.

Sasuke sighed heavily and sat against the wall, waiting for her to return to consciousness. This was so difficult, he was contemplating just giving up. But he needed to know everything about Akihime so he could have Yukimura remove her from Kai, or give him permission to kill her. He rubbed his face, exhausted from all the work.

Akihime sat on the porch of the estate, trying to figure out where Minehime had gone. The only resonance of the legendary blade she could feel was Megohime herself; whoever had Minehime had her well hidden.

Akihime felt a gentle hand on her shoulder, it was Yukimura, and he had a bit of a worried expression on his face. "Akihime-dono? Are you alright? You don't look well." He stood beside her. "Is something wrong?"

She looked up and smiled softly, "No, Yukimura-sama just lost in thought.." She said, gently placing her hand over his, "I hope I didn't cause any worry...!"

Yukimura's cheeks flushed, but he didn't pull his hand away. "Of course not!" He said gently. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

Yukimura felt his heart skip a little as it began to beat faster, nodding quickly. "Of course..! I would love to give you company..!"

She giggled and pat the spot gently beside her. He was so sweet it made her teeth rattle in her head; how could someone be this blissfully naive all the time? He had to grow up eventually, right? "So, anything on the agenda today?"

Yukimura took a seat and shook his head. "Nothing. Everything in the villages of Kai have been peaceful ever since you got here."

"I'm always happy to help.." She replied sweetly, "I'm just glad you're letting me stay here...I thought for certain you send me away by now.."

"Of course not, Akihime! You've become a good friend of mine, you're welcome to stay at the Takeda estate as long as you like..!" He smiled softly.

Yukimura's face flushed and he looked away. "The Takeda estate is in need of a new Court Healer..!" He said quickly, clearly flustered. "I-If that is what you want then you may do so..!"

When Yukimura turned to look at Akihime in surprise, their faces were mere inches apart. "A-Akihime-dono..?" Their faces were so close, and leaning in slightly, he kissed her.

Yukimura gently cupped her cheek, kissing her for a moment longer before pulling away. "I.. I feel the same way, Akihime-dono.." He breathed softly.

((Time for the plan~))

After the sun had set, Yukimura and Akihime ate dinner and talked for a while longer before Yukimura finally retired to his bedroom.
Elsewhere in the Takeda estate, Amaya had long since regained consciousness, and had been undergoing torture for hours. The battered and bloody woman sat unmoving, her eyes lifeless, yet she still drew breath. "No more... Please... no more.." She begged weakly, pain radiating throughout every inch of her body.

"Yes, anything- just... no more.." She had been subjected to enough mental and phisical anguish that she had finally cracked, nothing more than a broken soul.
