Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Nana wanted so badly to look for Motochika, but she could hardly walk with her injuries, so as soon as she was able to limp around without falling, she headed straight down the mountain in search of Motochika, worried beyond all hell.

Nana knew for a fact Motochika protected the entire forest around the mountain, and these men were definitely intruding. "Excuse me, I thought these woods were protected..?" She spoke up as she approached one man.

Nana got a sinking feeling in her gut, hurrying off without another word to the man as she broke out in a jog toward the village.

When she reached the town, she was greeted with a horrible sight. Motochika had been roped down on his belly, a dozen and more thick lengths of rope tethering him and keeping him in place. He was covered in open wounds, spears and arrows piercing into his hide and left there. A couple houses were destroyed behind him, but only those houses. He looked unconscious, or maybe just resting, his eye lids were closed but his eyes moved beneath them.

She nearly dropped to her knees right then, staring in horror at Motochika as he lay on the ground covered in wounds. "Motochika!!" Nana didn't even registered that she had screamed aloud, nor did she register that she was already running full tilt toward Motochika's motionless body, tears streaming down her bruised cheeks.

He forced an eye open, the other unresponsive, his golden eye hazily fixating on her. "Nana...? What are you doing here...? You should be home resting..." He rumbled weakly.

Nana dropped to her knees beside him, looking over his wounds as she choked back cries. "What did they do to you..?!" As quickly as she had gotten there, she began to pull at the stakes keeping the ropes in place, hoping to free him.

As feeling returned to his arms, he pushed himself up and snapped the rest of the rope holding him down. "It's free!!" An elderly woman screamed and Motochika winced, his head spinning. "Nana, go home.." He told her gently, "Please..."

"No! I'm not leaving without you!" She said sternly, getting to her feet. "You don't deserve this..! You do nothing but help people! You keep to yourself, and you only take what you need from the forest!" More tears spilled down her cheeks. "I... I love you Motochika..!"

He stopped. His ears were ringing but he heard her clear as a bell. He looked down at her with his good eye, "You...you what?" "Kill them both!!" Some of the men had come back and rushed at them with pitchforks and hastily made spears. Motochika crushed them under his fist without a second thought, gaze never leaving Nana.

"I love you." She repeated, wiping her tears away with her sleeve. "You're so kind; even after you're treated so unfairly, you still have no hatred for the people who hate you. People think you're a monster but you're not..! I love you, Motochika..!"

He was speechless, he had no idea what to say. He looked down at his fist and saw blood slowly pooling under and his eye widened. He looked back to Nana and frowned, "Even after rampaging through here, killing those who harmed you? These poor souls under my hand right now...and you still love me?"

Nana shook her head, she didn't care, even after rampaging and killing she still loved him. "Even after all of it." She said. "I forgive you, I'll always forgive you." To be honest, Nana felt the men Motochika had killed deserved it, Motochika had never harmed before, how was it fair they could make a spectical of him and hurt him simply because of their own fears.

"I...I don't know what to say..." He said. He smiled softly and pet her head gently with his finger, it was all he could do. "I love you, too, Nana..." The townsfolk look disgusted, grabbing their weapons again. "Kill them!! Both of them!!" Motochika's eye narrowed and he started to stand, though his legs shook, "Nana, please go home. I'll give you time. Go!"

"No! I'm not leaving you! You can barely stand!" She argued. "Come with me!" She wasn't about to leave Motochika, not after she had confessed her feelings for him, not after he returned hem.

"Go, please!" He snapped, looking back. He frowned, "Please...I'll be there soon...I can't have you hurt...not again..." "Get them!!" The townsfolk charged and Motochika sent them flying with a wave of his hand.

Nana hesitated before giving a nod, giving Motochika one last glance before leaving through the path Motochika had just cleared. Heading back through the forest, she ran as fast as she could, making her way up he mountain.

Motochika's furious cries echoed through the woods, the town leveled as he wiped all but the younger women and children from the living plane. He earned a few more gashes and wounds but he refused to let such close minded beings continue to live. They would continue hunting him and Nana if they were left alive. He panted hard and looked over the destruction he had created, his heart heavy. The children looked terrified but he crouched down before them, "I am so sorry for what I have done. But please leave and never return to these woods again." He sid calmly. They all nodded and headed off in a panic to the next town. He sighed heavily and stood shakily, heading back to his moutain.

Nana sat just inside the cave, keeping an eye out for Motochika's return. Her heart raced and she chewed on her lip, fists clenched tightly.

Nana instantly jumped to her feet, moving over to Motochika and looking over his massive body for wounds. "Let me clean you up, these wounds are festering and look about ready to be infected."

He nodded, following her and sitting down so she could clean his wounds. "I killed them," he said softly, voice heavy with grief, "All of them..."

Nana soaked a rag in water and moved over to Motochika, carefully wiping away the blood and dirt. "You had no choice.." She said softly, making sure to be as gentle as possible.
