Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"So we're going to talk to him..? I don't think I'm very good at talking.." Minehime muttered.

Minehime followed after Hidemune, the frown on her face showing that she was upset. "Why would we have to do that? I thought he was our friend..?"

"He's...um..." He had to think of a way to word it, "He is but not a very good one. Sometimes, he does mean things to keep us from doing what we need to do to help our people. He makes new friends. New friends that don't like us. We have to make sure he stays only our friend."

Minehime didn't seem satisfied with his answer, but only cast her gaze down and kept her mouth shut. Following his lead, she kept pace with him, even with her short stature and limp.

Minehime shrugged her shoulders, not looking up at Hidemune, then taking his hand. Minehime disappeared and Hidemune was now holding a dagger, which hummed softly.

The little dagger was warm against his side, and though he wasn't talking to Minehime, he still felt her presence.

Minehime was silent the entire time until they reached the castle, when she finally returned into her humanoid form beside Hidemune. "Is this it..?"

Hideaki was a short and stout man with pudgy cheeks and a stag beetle helm. He carried a large hot pot on his back, and no one knew why he did this; people assumed he just wore it so he could make food at anytime. He shook when Hidemune approached, "O-Oh! Hello, Hidemune-san! What brings you here?" He asked. Hidemune made a noise, "You allied against us, Hideaki-sama. Hideyoshi-sama has sent me to discuss matters with you."

Minehime gazed at Hideaki silently, standing halfway behind Hidemune as the two spoke. She glanced around, then between the two men; this was the man they had to speak to?

"O-Oh, yeah...about that..." Hideaki sputtered nervously, "Y-You can go ahead and tell Hideyoshi that I'm done working for him...!" "I really wish you would reconsider, Hideaki-sama." Hidemune said firmly, making Hideaki even more nervous, "You know that Hideyoshi-sama is not a man you say no to."

Minehime could feel the tension in the air, it made her nervous. Squeezing her eyes shut she held onto the pant leg of Hidemune.

"I'm fine..!" She said quickly, jumping a little when he spoke to her. She didn't want to make him mad or make the wrong decision and mess things up; she wanted to go home, but at the same time, she wanted to just vanish.

Hidemune frowned before returning his attention to Hideaki, "I do not wish to use force." He said. Hideaki gulped and tried not to cave, "M-My foot is down, Hidemune..."

Minehime clenched her fists, keeping her eyes down as tears swelled up in her eyes. Please, just listen to him.

"Then I am sorry it had to come to this." Hidemune gripped his sword and Hideaki gripped the hot pot on his back in fear. "N-No, please! You don't understand!" "Then please help me to."

Before Hidemune could draw his sword, a deep gash opened up on Hideaki's chest, blood seeping from the wound. Minehime brought her arm down again and another gash opened on his chest, leaving an X shape on his torso. Again and again she attacked him, tears streaming down her cheeks and her expression twisted and unreadable.

Hidemune couldn't register what was happening until Hideaki was on the ground in a puddle of blood, sobbing and choking. "Minehime-dono, stop!!" Hidemune rushed forward and grabbed her firmly, "That's enough, Minehime-dono!"

Minehime froze, breathing hard as she looked at Hideaki, then turned her head to look at Hidemune. She still had a steady stream of tears going down her face. "I'm sorry..!"
