Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Megohime let out a strangled scream, lurching forward; blood spilled from the wound in her chest, covering Masamune’s arm as she slumped forward against his arm, gripping his clothes. Her whole body was tense, electrify running through her at the same time, making it feel like she was being cooked from the inside out.

He pulled his claws free and held her, his chest aching and tears falling from his eye, but his expression never changed. Akihime pouted, obviously this wasn't as fun as she had thought it would be.

Megohime merely slumped forward against his chest, struggling to take in a few breaths before falling still. He had run his claws straight through her heart, killing her nearly instantly, dead in his arms.

He laid her down gently in the dirt and placed her hands over her stomach before returning to Akihime. Said mage was disappointed but said nothing when Masamune returned. She stood and began to leave, Masamune following her closely.

Megohime woke with a start, sitting up quickly and looking around. Hours must’ve past, rain starting to fall lightly; her muzzle had been put back on, and her meal removed from the arena. Masamune and Akihime were gone as well, leaving her by herself once again.
She felt numb, and though the wound in her chest had completely healed, it still felt like she had been punched through, heart heavy.

With Masamune now a living weapon, would they still be able to talk to each other telepathically? It was still technically Masamune, his soul was the same. Would the collar even allow him to answer? Akihime said he was still coherent.

”Masamune..” She felt silly trying to speak with him, two living weapons couldn’t communicate, right? ”Can you hear me..?” Even if two living weapons could communicate, surely the collars would stop them, right?

Megohime hadn’t even realized she was crying, sitting out in the rain. ”Yeah, it’s me... God’s, it’s so good to hear your voice..!” She sounded tired as well, having only eaten once in the past week alone, and slept only a few hours, excluding the time she spent unconscious from dying.

"It's good to hear your voice, too...everything is so fuzzy...I can hardly think straight...what happened...? I'm not a skewer anymore..." He felt like he would fall over if his body wasn't forced to stand all the time.

Megohime scowled softly- he deserved to know what happened. ”That witch turned you into a living weapon... I’m sorry.”

Megohime couldn’t say she wasn’t happy Masamune would be with her forever, but something about it still made her heart ache. ”Where are you now? What do you see?”

Megohime scowled under her mask. ”You should conserve your energy... You may be immortal, but you can still die in all the ways a human can...” She found a spot under the skybox that was a bit more sheltered from the rain, sitting down and waiting.

”I’m going to gut her, just hang in there.” She was shivering, the rain was really coming down, and it was cold, the wind picking up.

"Not like I can go anywhere..." He replied with tired amusement, "I'm so sorry for what I did, Mego...you know I would never mean to hurt you..."

”I know, I’m not mad at you... I’ll always forgive you..” Days would go by, and it seemed like Akihime had grown bored with Megohime for the time being. She was back in her cell, Akihime’s soldiers playing with her once again. One group was particularly ruthless, finding joy in seeing how many things could be stabbed into her back before she died. Hands shackled to a metal post that stuck out of the ground, kosode pulled down off her shoulders and around her waist, she was forced to kneel on the ground. They had left for now, leaving her with the objects sticking out of her back; wires, nails, daggers, meat skewers, even forks- anything that could be stabbed into her was. They stuck out of her back and sides, up her shoulders and all the way to her wrists, some even going straight through her arms.

((Wanna bring in Ko~?))

Kojurou came in with some food, it wasn't human meat but he figured Megohime couldn't really be picky with the selection at this point. When he saw all the sharp objects stuffed into her back like she was some kind of pin cushion, he sighed and set the tray aside before moving in to remove everything as carefully as he could.
"Are you alright, Megohime-dono? Are you awake?"

Megohime was awake, unfortunately, trembling hard in agony. When Kojurou entered the cell, she turned her head to look at him over her shoulder. Her face was ashen, and her eyes tired, that horrid leather mask still locked onto her head with a heavy padlock. She gave a hesitant nod, groaning when he pulled a dagger from her shoulder, blood seeping down her back. Though her wrists were shackled, she was still able to move her hands, pointing to a ring of keys hanging on the wall, car from her reach, but still in her sight.

Once her wrists were free, she shakily pulled her Kosode back over her shoulders, stiff and in pain, but she would be fine. She pointed to one of the smallest keys, then turned her head so he could removed the lock.

Megohime nodded. “Yeah.. Thanks.” She rubbed her jaw gently, glancing at Kojurou once more. “Thanks for taking all that shit out of my back too..”
