Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"There you go, being rude again." She sighed, "You know I hold only the highest respect for you, and that I am only cruel because you are cruel to start. I have shown you kindness, have I not."

“Respect enough to hold me in a horse stall.” She hissed at her, clenching her fists. “What do you want from me? You’ve already killed me, and you’ve already killed Masamune.”

"I want to put our past behind us." She said, "I was young, naïve. Maybe a little power mad. But I'm older now, more mature. I have a country to rule over and I need your help to do it."

“The only thing you can do with my help, is go fuck yourself.” Megohime spat, turning her head away. “Get away from me, I have nothing more to talk about.”

Akihime made a noise and stood, "Very well. After your fight, I'll fill you in on the progress to restore Masamune's body. Whether you wish to hear it or not."

“Don’t you fucking touch him you whore..!” Megohime struggled to get up, but her badly mangled legs were still healing, which kept her down on the floor.

Akihime stopped and slowly looked back at her, "I told you that there is nothing you could do to stop me. If you wish to keep your last known husband as a bitter memory then fine. I'll leave him where he lies and he will become no more than food. But because you have been so rude to me, I think I'll watch you suffer a little more and bring your loving husband back for you as a weasel to hide in your fur."

Megohime screamed out of rage, anger she couldn’t stop Akihime, anger she couldn’t save Masamune, anger she was going to desiccate his corpse.

Megohime would spend a few more days in her cell, before she was finally taken out of her cell and dragged kicking and screaming, dumped into the arena, and left.

Megohime looked over her shoulder at Kojurou, watching him as he walked over to her, why had she sent out Kojurou?

"Katakura-sama," Akihime called, "Please enjoy this small moment you have with Megohime to express your feelings." Express his feelings? What did that mean?

Megohime staggered to her feet, slowly turning to face Kojurou. Oh yeah, how did he take Masamune’s death? Probably not well.

Kojurou's eyes were glowing as he glared across the arena at Megohime. He began to walk with purpose before bursting into a full on sprint, grabbing her tight by the throat and slamming her into the dirt with all his might.

Megohime cried out in surprise, eyes wide as she was slammed into the ground, the air being forced from her lungs. Immediately she grabbed his wrist, trying to pull it free from her throat.

"I told you to leave him be." He hissed, "I practically begged. Even my Lord demanded you stop. But no." His grip tightened, "You ignored the both of us and still you continued to free him. She was going to let him go. He would have been fine but you finalized his death!" He pulled her up and smacked her head into the dirt, "Masamune-sama is dead and it's all because you were too fucking selfish to keep a promise!"

Tears started to fall down Megohime’s cheeks again, she clenched her teeth to both keep from crying, and to make sure she didn’t bite her tongue off when he slammed her head into the ground. There was nothing she could tell him, no amount of apologizing could bring Masamune back, no amount of crying could show how much she missed him and show how much she regretted doing what she did. But she did anyway. “I’m sorry..” She whispered. “I’m sorry..!”

"Apologize to Masamune-sama's corpse!" He snarled, smacking her into the dirt again, "You will receive no forgiveness from me! I will never forgive such an act! I begged you!" He slammed her down again, "I implored you!" He grabbed her throat with both hands, "But you refused! Even Masamune requested you to stop! But you refused!" Kojurou was crying; furious and heartbroken.

She could no longer breathe, mouth gaping open as she struggling to take in a breath. “So...rry..” This was all she deserved, to die in the dirt, killed by her husbands retainer. She had betrayed Masamune, betrayed his wishes and disobeyed his command. She was a traitor, who deserved a traitors death. Still, even so, her body demanded her to struggle, struggle to live. She clawed at his hands, but his gloves kept his hands safe from her sharp nails, face starting to turn blue as she wheezed and gasped.

He grabbed her wrist and easily broke it before punching her as hard as he could. Over and over until he felt wetness in his glove, then he merely switched hands and punched her with the other. She caused so many issues for Masamune, he didn't understand why he kept her. She killed his son and disrespected him constantly. She was more trouble than she was worth. And now she wanted forgiveness for causing his death? No. There was no redemption for her.

Megohime’s head swam more and more with every hit, feeling her lip split, her nose break, even her cheekbone broke under Kojurou’s hard strikes. After about a dozen or so hits, she fell still, the only noise coming from her was the sound of bone against bone. She no longer struggled to free his hand from around her neck, completely still, body only jolting when he hit her. Was she dead?

He stopped, his breathing labored, hair falling unkempt and messy. He climbed off her, shaking his hands to try and ease the pain.
"Are you satisfied, Katakura-sama?" Akihime called. Kojurou shook his head before he sat and waited. Akihime smirked behind her sleeve.
"Do you think you will be satisfied~?" She asked. He took a moment before shaking his head again. Akihime giggled softly and relaxed in her seat. "Wonderful~"

The only noise in the arena was the gentle breeze and Kojurou’s breathing, Megohime’s dull eyes staring up at the sky blankly. It took some time, but after about ten minutes, Megohime’s bones began to pop, settling back into place and mending. She didn’t stir yet, eyes still staring blankly and her chest still. After about thirty minutes, she gasped, but remained still, the light in her eyes slowly returning. There were no bruises on her face, no gashes, only blood and dirt. When her consciousness. Did return, she looked around, seemingly dazed.

Kojurou rose and move over, slamming his heel into her chest as hard as he could. He continued to kick as much of her as he could, only seeing red anytime he looked at her.
