Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Masamune's expression didn't change, but Megohime could feel her body tingling with his determination. He lowered his gaze and exhaled softly. "The things I do for you." He muttered before he forced her into her blade form and launched at Akihime as fast as he could. He barely managed to get the point close to Akihime's skin before she stopped the blade and shattered it like glass. Masamune's eye widened, his lungs freezing.
"Mego..."
"I'm absolutely disappointed in you, Date-sama. Now your wife is dead along with your land." Akihime stated before she moved and touched his chest gently. Frost crawled slowly across his body and Kojurou tried to get up quick enough to stop her.
"Masamune-sama!" He yelled but Masamune was frozen solid by the time Kojurou got to his feet.

The only sound was the metal pieces of Megohime raining down on the ground at Akihime’s feet, the hilt of Megohime still in Masamune’s frozen hand.
“Shigenaga, stop!” Jin’s voice broke the silence, or rather, brought Kojurou’s attention to the loud thundering of many feet behind him. Shigenaga had rallied Masamune’s men, who all were rushing to Kojurou’s aid.

"Tou-san!"
"Don't come any closer, Shigenaga!" Kojurou yelled, making the young man freeze and the Date army to skid to a stop behind him. Akihime looked and smiled darkly.
"Ora~ how handsome you have become, Shigenaga-kun~ I remember when you were just a small little babe~" She stated. Shigenaga glared at her before looking to Kojurou.
"We can still win, Tou-san! The odds are against her!"
"She destroyed Megohime-dono with just a tap of her nails, Shigenaga. There is nothing we can do now..." Kojurou said, sounding defeated.

Jin moved through the sea of Date men to stand in front of her son, frowning softly as she looked upon the frozen Masamune, and shattered Megohime. “Kojurou-sama..” She looked from Akihime to her husband, as if asking what they should do.

"You will all come and join me in Osaka. Any disagreement will be met with death." Akihime stated firmly, "And I promise you, I am not against the idea of a mass culling."
"Tou-san?" Shigenaga looked to Kojurou, surely the brave Right Eye would go against such a dictatorship. Kojurou pushed himself up, his body still stiff from the attack that nearly took his life.
"Do as she says..."
"Katakura-dono!!" Masamune's men argued in unison.

Jin’s frown deepened, and she looked to her son, already he stood taller than her, and he wasn’t even twenty yet. “Do as she says.” She said firmly, looking to the men of the Date army; she absolutely appalled the idea of surrendering, but if it meant her son would live, she’d do it in a heartbeat.

Akihime had some of the soldiers carry Masamune and one carry Megohime's shards. Shigenaga helped carry Kojurou to the stables.
"You have a plan, right, Tou-san...?" He asked. Kojurou said nothing and it made Shigenaga dread the worst.

Jin simply obeyed as she was told, helping her husband walk, all while checking his wounds. “Before we depart I’d like to get a better look at your wounds.” She said softly to Kojurou, worry clear in her eyes.

He nodded and moved to sit down.
"Everything alright, Katakura-sama?" Akihime asked. Kojurou nodded slightly.
"Hai...Jin is just checking my wound."
"Ah, of course. We will leave when she is done." Akihime said.

Jin was deeply unsettled with everything about Akihime, they way everything was so nonchalant while Masamune was frozen solid and Megohime in pieces, it made the hair on her neck stand on end. She listened to Kojurou’s heart, which was beating a bit too fast, and even checked his chest to make sure he wasn’t too badly hurt. The flesh looked red and tender, but other than that, it wasn’t anything critical. “You shouldn’t push yourself too hard, your heart rate is increased, which I would say would be normal, but you weren’t all that active, so it’s not exactly normal.” She said as she buttoned up his shirt. “Take it easy, please?”

"Of course." He replied, "I will do all that I can to stay safe."
"Are we ready?" Akihime asked. Kojurou stood and saddled his horse, exhaling softly.
"Hai... Akihime-sama."
"Wonderful~! Let's be off!" Akihime smiled.

((Sure!))

Masamune gasped loudly like he had been held under water, body shaking from the cold that thawed off him. He was in a cell by himself and he couldn't see anything. "Mego?" He called out but received no response, "Mego, can you hear me?"

Nothing. Dead silence in both his head and in the jail he was in. Maybe Akihime hadn’t recorded Megohime yet, maybe she never planned on doing so. Regardless, he was alone, not one of his own in sight.

Megohime woke slowly, almost more like coming out a daze than waking from sleep. She opened her eyes and looked around, momentarily confused. What was going on? Where was she?

Ah, that was right. It all came back to her now. She tried to sit up, only to feel the tightness of ropes around her body, and a cold metal around her neck. “What is this?” She growled out, unable to move, arms tied behind her back, no, to her back; even her ankles were bound.

"Just some odd things left behind by Hanbei-sama. I've tweeked them to fit my needs. As for the rope, well, I wanted to test it out. Something new and fun, I suppose." She answered

Megohime should’ve been able to easily break the rope tied around her, with one simple flex of her muscles should have torn them all free from her body, but they didn’t budge. “What the hell is this?” She repeated. Either the rope had been enchanted, or her powers were gone.

"Fascinating, isn't it? Hanbei-sama made the collars for the Living Weapons we already owned, dampening their powers and throwing them in to fight the soldiers unarmed to punish them. I find them more useful as a means to make more compliant companions. Like you will be soon enough." She replied.

“Kiss my ass, I’d never be your companion!” Megohime snapped at Akihime, brows furrowed with anger, and straining against the rope.

"You won't have a choice." There was no homey in her tone, no smile on her face. She was cold. Uncaring. "I have something to show you - once you've calmed down of course."
