Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Akihime screamed and slammed a massive ice spike straight through Nana's chest before shooting another and another until she couldn't fit any more into Nana's body. Motochika moved and rushed at Akihime but she merely sent him flying with a huge bolt of lightning.

Nana collapsed to the ground, eyes clouded and unmoving. She wouldn’t be able to recover until the spikes were pulled out of her body.

Akihime crawled to Amaya's body and pulled her close, petting her hair and cooing weakly as she rocked back and forth slowly. Motochika shook the daze away and looked over at her, frowning softly before standing and moving cautiously to grab Ren and Nana and leave the arena.

Ren groaned when he was lifted off the ground, black and blue and covered in blood. Nana would be fine, she only needed time and water, but Ren was completely human, would he make it?

"Can you hear me, Ren? You ok, lad?" He asked gently. The soldiers had no idea what to do without Akihime screaming orders so they just let Motochika pass as he made his way to the Fugaku. Those of his men that did survive were locked up in the Fugaku's brig, waiting for their executions.

He moved to Nana's pool and frowned at how nasty it was. He couldn't put Nana in that. He set them both down gently and moved to free the others, barking at them to free the Fugaku and set sail. They agreed and Motochika started the engines so he could start up the filter in Nana's pool to get it clean, using the scrub mop to get any stuck on gunk. He didn't notice the Fugaku was moving until he moved to change the filter for a new one, the water clean and blue. He removed the spikes and set Nana in the water, "When Nana wakes up, she'll heal you, lad. I'll get you patched up til then." He said and left for the sickbay.

Ren could only look at Motochika with his one good, albeit bloodshot eye, a soft groan in response. Poor boy, he couldn’t even move. Nana sunk to the bottom of her pool, a small amount of blood tinting the pool.

Ren winced everytime he was touched, letting out a moan of pain, by the feel of it, nearly all of his ribs were broken, and possibly more. “... so sorry... I’m sorry...” He wept, tears leaking down his face.

"No, no, sshh...hey, don't cry, lad. If anyone should be apologizing it's me. I had no idea what she would do to you. You didn't do a damn thing wrong, lad. I'm just glad we got you out alive." He soothed.

“I told her... I told her everything, I turned traitor to you.. I’m scum who sells out his family...” He wheezed, shaking his head. “Gomenasai... Gomenasai...!”

”Motochika..?” Nana was awake again, the water stirring before she popped her head out of the water, looking like she’d just woken from a nap.

He looked over and smiled, "Nana..." He muttered before looking back at Ren and gently picking him up, "Can you heal him? He can't move, everything hurts he says and I've cleaned all I can.."

Nana’s eyes had returned back to normal, no longer looking mirror like, but they still darkened when she saw Ren. ”I won’t. Throw him overboard.” She hissed.

The sea started to grow choppy, Nana baring her teeth. ”It’s completely his fault. I won’t heal him!”

"You and I both know the horrible things Akihime is capable of..." He frowned, "Nana, please...let him make amends...he wishes for forgiveness.."

The sea grew nearly hurricane rough, then slowly died down, Nana turning her back to Motochika and moving to the far side of the pool. ”Get him clean clothes then put him in my pool.”

Akihime held a very privet funeral for Amaya, cleaning her and preserving her and making her look as beautiful as she always had before she was entombed. Yukimura was given his own room to recover in, though she knew his mind was too broken for him to ever awaken. She didn't care to make herself look beautiful or elegant anymore, leaving her hair down and only wearing her night robes where ever she went. She had nothing now, except her baby Okane and Sayuri; where ever the little owl child was always hiding at least. When she wasn't in her extravagant throne, she was in her room caring for her child. She couldn't bring herself to do much of anything nowadays, which left Mitsunari in charge and allowed Yoshitsugu some freedom. Whenever the two walked passed her or ended up in the same room, she would do nothing but stare at them with dull auburn eyes before continuing her walk around the castle. It was a relief to Yoshitsugu, if nothing else.

Sayuri did the best she could to care for Akihime, all of Akihime’s handmaidens foo frightened of her at this point to go near her. She doted on Akihime, making sure she ate, brushing her hair, and even helping her bathe when her moods hit a low point. She stayed by her side, quiet but comforting.
