Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Jin felt tears of rage and embarrassment slip down her face, the entire ordeal was unbearable. Being stripped in front of men other than her husband, the clothes that were put on her revealing amounts of skin she'd only show her husband. One of the men hissed in pain when she bit his hand, making him draw his hand back instinctively. Jin started to scream the moment his hand was away from her mouth, making the man panic, and shove his leather glove into her mouth to quiet her. She struggled to spit out the leather, but it was only further secured by a cloth gag that was tied around her head, keeping the gag in place. She suddenly stopped struggling, eyes staring ahead blankly as she let her mind wander, away from what was happening, then men who were humiliating her, none of it was real, she wasn't real.

After a while - though it felt like the blink of an eye - she found herself in the estate in front of the door to hers and Kojurou's bedroom. The soldiers knocked on the door and bolted, laughing like giddy children proud of a prank. The door opened and a barely awake Kojurou stared at Jin in confusion before his eyes widened. "Jin...!" He took her hand gently and carefully pulled her into the room, carefully removing the gag in her mouth.

Jin felt like she was still in a daze, kneeling on the ground with Kojurou at her side. Her face was stained with poorly applied makeup and tears, and already bruises were forming where the men had grabbed her to hold her down. She could tell Kojurou was speaking, but it sounded like she was submerged in water, she couldn't understand.

He frowned softly, his heart always aching when she dissociated. "Jin...? Can you hear me...?" He asked gently, carefully holding her hand, "I want to get you into some better clothes, is that ok...?"

She gave the faintest of nods, her eyes still transfixed on the wall ahead of her. It always did take her a while to come back to reality when she did dissociate, but the sound of Kojurou's voice always brought her back.

He nodded and went slow, stopping whenever she flinched or whimpered before he got the inappropriate dress off and slowly helped her into one of her dresses. He got a damp rag and gently wiped off the makeup, "What happened...?" He asked softly, worried.

She didn't want to tell Kojurou, she didn't want him to worry, and yet she wouldn't lie to him. She couldn't; she wouldn't have done this to herself. "The soldiers.." She whispered. "In the garden."

"Black armor, not blue." She was often vague when her mind wandered, but it was pretty clear what she meant. Toyotomi's soldiers. Jin looked beyond tired, slowly moving to rest against Kojurou's chest, clutching at his clothes like she was going to die; she was terrified.

Jin fell asleep eventually, mentally exhausted. Why had those soldiers done this? They had never terrorized anyone before, even the elven servants. Of course, they weren't Ancient Elves, but elves none the less. Jin would need her rest, but she'd recover again, she always did when she had an episode.

The morning was relatively peaceful as Kojurou left the estate, the soft chatter of the different soldiers and workers as they started the days work. Everything seemed normal, as if his wife hadn't just been disgraced in a monstrous way.

The farmers and workers greeted him happily and he waved in return before heading into the housing provided for Akihime's soldiers. He was indiscriminate in his beatings, knocking each and everyone on their ass and nearly killing a few.

Most of the soldiers were confused by Kojurou's attack, some begging him to stop, others trying to flee or fight back, but all of them received a thorough beating.

Jin had woken after resting another two hours, leaving her bed to find Shigenaga and Kita before going to find Kojurou. She rocked the young boy in her arms, him fussing a bit, perhaps he wanted to see his father.

A soft knock came at the door, and Jin entered, closing the door behind herself. She frowned when she looked at Kojurou and saw bruises and cuts on him. Moving over, she gently touched his cheek. "What happened to your face?"

She glanced at his bloodied knuckles, knowing such a thing wasn't true, but she wouldn't push any further. "Shigenaga was restless and doesn't seem to want me." She said softly. "Let me hell with the paper work." She offered.

He glanced at his son before looking back to his wife and nodding, moving to take Shigenaga and rock him gently, "Did you sleep alright?" He asked, tone gentle

"Hai, thank you." She moved to sit at the desk, reading over the paper before signing it off and moving to the next one.

Jin couldn't help but smile a bit, putting another signed paper in a separate pile. "It was rather surprising when I found out."
