Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"Kagetsuna!" Kojurou winced a bit when he heard his sister use his birth name. Kita moved over happily, holding a wrapped bundle close to her; Masamune and Megohime close behind her.

Jin's heart jumped into her throat when she saw the bundle, moving away from Kojurou and toward Kita. "Is that..?" She moved over and took the small bundle, the baby boy staring up at Jin before letting out a cooing noise. "It's him..!" She breathed, eyes tearing up as she nuzzled her son.

"I took very good care of him while you were recovering, my Lady." Kita said humbly, "If it isn't too bold, I've taken to calling him Shigenaga. He seems to respond well to it."

Jin brushed some of the little whisps atop the baby's head with her fingers, staring down at the child. "Shigenaga..." She felt her heart swell and she nodded, looking to Kojurou. "It's a wonderful name." It was almost as if she was asking Kojurou his opinion, all without even saying so.

He smiled softly and nodded in approval before bowing to his sister, "Thank you so much, Onee-sama."
"Oh, it was no trouble! I missed tending to Masamune as a babe and Shigenaga more than met my needs." Kita smiled, "I can already tell he'll be a powerful warrior one day."

Jin nodded, unable to tell Kita just how thankful she truly was, bowing to her and thanking her repeatedly. Once greetings were exchanged, Jin's tiredness began to show through, worn out from the long ride.

"Come, let's get you inside." Kojurou said gently. Masamune watched Kojurou and Jin head in and he made a small noise. "At least they're ok..."

It took a few more days of rest before Jin was able to stay on her feet again, her appetite healthy and her strength returning. In no time she was able to feed Shigenaga from her own breast, taking him everywhere with him. She took him to the library, the fields, the paths along the gardens outside the Date estate, anywhere she could walk, she went.

Jin took notice immediately, ever since she had gotten her son back, she'd been on edge; nearly shooting Kojurou in the head with a bolt when he came to bed late one night, leading to her apologizing for quite some time.
She did her best to avoid the soldiers however, often only going out when she saw Date soldiers instead- them being more rough like bandits, but were actually quite kind -she stuck to the safety of their presence rather than risk being near the Toyotomi.
Taking the winding path through the garden, she enjoyed the warm light and cool breeze, the silence of being alone peaceful.

There were footsteps behind her, quiet but still noticed by her keen ears. There were maybe four men? None of them she could tell were Masamune's men, which made her hairs stand on end. Maybe they were just walking by? Maybe they would leave her alone?

Jin frowned softly, Shigenaga wrapped against her chest in a sturdy cloth was both a comfort and worry she carried around. Placing a hand over the cooing babes head, she slowed her pace, hoping the men would simply walk around her and on their way.

They slowed their pace as well. So they were following her. But why?
"Wonder what he sees in an elf." She heard one whisper. Were they judging Kojurou for taking her as his wife?
"Why'd you marry one of them? All elves I seen are harlots."

She felt her ears burn hot with embarrassment as she listened to them speak about her right behind her back; literally. Her frown deepened and she held onto her child tighter, picking up her pace and heading down the path once again.

Shigenaga could feel her distress and started to fuss. She wasn't much farther from the barracks of Masamune's forces; if she could just get there.
"Where ya goin', m'lady?"
"Don't you wanna spend some time with the men?" They called and whistled.

Jin kept her head down and her mouth shut, normally she'd do the same regardless, but now even more so. She wouldn't risk Shigenaga, not in a million years. Keeping her eyes forward, she kept a steady pace, ignoring the men.

"Don't be shy!"
"We don't bite!"
"Yeah, not very hard at least!" They cackled, moving to rush up on her. But they slid to a stop when one of Masamune's men came out of the barracks to see what the yelling was about. When he saw Jin, he waved for her to come to safety.

Jin felt relief flood her body, and she moved over to Masamune's soldier with a soft thank you. She cooed to Shigenaga to calm him down, glancing over her shoulder at Akihime's men. "Do not say word of this to Kojurou." She said quietly.

She shook her head, looking down at her son. "It will pass, think nothing of it." She looked up at the man. "Please."

"Thank you." She nodded, peering out the door to see the men had lost interest and had left. Bowing her head to him, she hid her goodbye before heading off once more; it was time for Shigenaga's nap. For days this persisted, leaving Jin either trapped in the Date estate or being forced to leave Shigenaga with Kita in fear of his safety. Still, she wouldn't be completely cornered. She often went on her early morning walks alone however, enjoying the fresh air as she wandered the lush garden.

They seemed to have waited for her, as soon as she began her walk she heard footsteps following behind her. But they didn't wait around and just taunt her this time. This time they actually grabbed her and shoved her to the ground.

Jin grunted as she landed on the ground, the men falling on her like wolves. When she felt hands on her body, she opened her mouth to scream, struggling against them, but a hand clamped over her mouth. Images of Mitsuhide flashed in her head and her eyes went wide, letting out muffled screams as she kicked and fought.
"Hold her still, dammit!" One man growled out after a solid kick to the gut.

"I'm trying, the bitch is stronger than she looks!" Another snapped as they struggled pinning down her legs and arms. They stripped her down but did not touch her, oh no. They put new clothing on her, much more revealing and immodest. They tried doing her makeup and hair but she struggled against them too much.
