Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Megohime scoffed, but knew it was probably true to some extent. "Ugh, she's the worst." She grumbled, settling in against him and resting her eyes.

Megohime enjoyed the feeling of him playing with her hair, letting out a soft sigh. She enjoyed the silence with him, hoping it'd last forever.

She shitted a bit and laid her head in his lap, resting on her side. "Oh I'm not a child." She muttered. "Just keep playing with my hair." She grumbled.

Five more days of Kojurou being in Osaka, and it was bordering almost a month that Jin was in a coma.
"Katakura-sama!" A healer came rushing over to Kojurou, face pale and eyes wide. "It's Jin-dono!" They gasped out.

"She's woken up!" She reported, turning and hurrying back to Jin's room, opening the door to Jin's room and stepping aside so Kojurou could pass. Jin was indeed awake, actually sitting up in bed. She turned to look when the door opened, eyes widening when her eyes landed on Kojurou.

His breath caught in his throat. His eyes burned but he fought the tears that pooled at the corners. "Jin..." He breathed and moved over quickly, carefully - gingerly - embracing her and resting his head against hers.

Jin felt tears of her own slide down her cheeks, and she slowly wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders. She let out a shaky breath and buried her face into his shoulder, body shaking as she started to cry. "Kojurou..!" Her voice was nice to hear after so long, he had almost forgotten it.

Jin looked distraught already, shaking her head. "He took him...! My baby... Our baby, he's gone!" She looked crushed, tears flowing steadily down her face.

So the child was theirs. He looked relieved, which would have been unsettling if he hadn't spoke next, "No, he's fine. Your son is safe in Oshuu with my sister. He's beautiful, Jin..."

Her breath caught in her throat and she nearly broke down crying again. "You have him?" She embraced Kojurou again, lip trembling as she grinded her teeth. "Thank the Gods!" She whispered, her joy overwhelming.

She nodded her head and wiped away her tears. "I'm ready to go home now." She said, eager to see her son again. She didn't want to wait, not one more night, she was ready to hold her child again.

He nodded and helped her out of bed. He thanked the healer and helped Jin out of the room and toward the exit. He wanted to avoid talking to Akihime as much as possible, which made him walk a little too quickly to leave.

Jin did her best to keep pace with Kojurou, but her legs weren't as strong as she thought they were. Stumbling, she fell to her knees with a small gasp, quickly getting back to her feet. She wasn't entirely sure why Kojurou looked so worried, but she assumed he had a good reason, so she said nothing of it and continued to follow him.

"It's alright, I'm just not up to full speed yet.." She said, holding onto his arm. "I can keep up." By the sound of it, Kojurou had good reason to leave.

He nodded and got her to the stables at a decent pace, pulling her up front and riding back to Oshuu. Akihime watched with a glare from her window; first Tenkai betrays her, then Daihachi goes missing now Kojurou leaves without so much as a thank you? How rude.

It took the two of them about two days ride to reach Oshuu, Jin nodding in and out on occasion as they rode.
"Hey." Megohime had been staring out the window rather than help Masamune with papers, having been taken a break. "They're back." She sounded shocked, looking to Masamune. "Kojurou and Jin."

"Really?" Masamune moved over to try and look out the window with her. Sure enough, he could see Kojurou helping Jin carefully to the estate. Masamune seemed to perk up a bit at the sight of his dear friend, "I'll go get Kita." He said and left quickly.

Megohime followed after Masamune, also glad that Kojurou had returned.

Jin still had to lean on Kojurou, a bit weakened by the ride from Osaka, but she was glad to be home at least.
