"Perhaps we should start looking here?" Lea suggested, she was not one to leave things unexplored unless she was being pursued hotly. They looked more like wooden storage crates than treasure chests but one never knew, as they say one man's trash is a halfling's treasure!
When Lea's curiosity was satisfied, she looked up the staircase spiraling up to the next level. "Shall I lead?" She usually liked to be able to scout things out without the more...clumsy members of the party making a lot of noise. She shared Desira's doubts that the collar may not protect them here in the Sage's inner sanctum. Lea didn't really understand magic, but she did tend to recognize when things were not quite right.
She missed Jack's presence but understood his need to protect their escape. She looked to the cleric, hoping she would still stay close. She didn't want to test if she would still obey now that they were out of the maze. Oddly she was the only one remaining that she really trusted. Desira's impulsiveness made her nervous and of course Ariv was an unknown at least so far. But she had had good luck in companions this day, at least since the ill fated experience in the tavern.
