Tom nodded. "that is why we have... well, Thor, has started searching by line of sight. there will be minor distances in the local magnetic field." he admitted. "the closer you get, the more magnetized metal will react." he looked at Tony's chest. "you should probably stay away." he admitted. "i am unsure how the Aether would react to the metal in your chest and... well i'm sure it would be pretty messy." Tom admitted, looking a bit disturbed by the idea. "i won't touch it." Tom assured Tony. "i'm not sure what it does, but considering the location i think it would be best if i looked from a distance." he admitted. "ooh it's pretty!" Tom said, accepting a bag of Cotton candy, his eyes wide as he pulled out a tuft and slipped it into his mouth, sucking in it with a moan. "Midgard has the best, food, ever." Tom breathed before blinking at Tony. "i do not understand. what is a money and what does it have to do with cards?" h asked, looking confused. "is someone ill?" Darcy decided to take over, explaining about currency, which Aeser apparently didn't use, and what the green slips and the bank cards and credit cards actually where. "Steve?" Thor asked, confused. "you have made new friends?" he asked looking curious. "Steve is my twin brother. Alais is Tony's twin sister, and Jos is a horse. neither of us realized our twins where alive until about a month ago or a bit more." James explained to Thor who winced and nodded. that must have been terrible, thinking that your sibling was dead. his own twin was dead, as where most Asgardians. "Let us go then. the Aether seams to be holding steady." Tom admitted. "i have noticed no spikes at all, and there would be one if it attached to a human soul." Tom admitted, enjoying his candy of the cotton variety which he gleefully shared with anyone who wanted some. Steve was indeed at the Stables and Tom was quick to coo and chirp at the horses while Steve mucked a stable, instructed to do so by Alais so he'd stop fussing over her. it worked every time. "Eh!" Steve protested, glaring at Tom who was cooing at Jos, the horse whinnying. it wouldn't take Alais long to realize Tom and the horse where conversing. Allspeach was amazing.
