School Rumble (Broom and I)

Jana patted Justin's back with a faint smile, nudging her head. Well, this should be...interesting, shouldn't it?
--
That fucking hood rat actually got him. Ugh...he couldn't believe it. Zhao had returned to their home with a grimace, his shirt stained red. The stab wound was nothing...too serious, but it was in the worst place.

"Zhao!" Shi said in surprise, rising off from the couch. "Kitten! Get the first aid kit, quickly!" What in the world...!?

Kitten didn't hesitate at all, but she had never seen Master Zhao bleed. Not even once. She was at his side with the first aid kit, a worried expression on her face. "What happened..who did this to you?" She desperately asked, feeling anger boiling to the surface. Whoever did this would pay. She hated seeing blood..she hated when things she cared about were hurt.

"That rat of a boy, Sejae," Zhao growled in annoyance, eyes narrowed. "He stabbed me in the chest!"

Shi blinked curiously, brow furrowed. "What? How? How did he find you?"

"I wanted to see him myself," Zhao mumbled. "To see what Kitten was so interested in."

"What..? But.." Kitten felt that anger disappear. Why would Sejae just stab him in the chest? She didn't feel like he was that type of person..to just attack for no reason. "Sejae just stabbed you..?" She asked in disbelief. Not that she didn't believe Zhao..she just didn't understand why. If he could tell how strong she was, then surely he wouldn't have wanted to mess with her Master...

"He did, I defended myself." Zhao grumbled. "They're coming, Kitten...we're going to need your help."

"I still don't know how they found out," Shi mumbled, hand running along Kitten's hair. "We'll sort that out later, Kitten...I promise. But right now, we have to make sure we get away."

Kitten felt a pain in her heart, but all she could do was just nod her head. "Okay..." She weakly said before she heard the door bell ring.

This was a lost cause...everyone had either run away or they were locked up. But Kokoro wouldn't let Mei have her victory. Even though she accidentally fell for Adam..she couldn't abandon this mission. She would see it through. Adam would have found out anyway..probably wouldn't forgive her either. So..she'd make sure she stayed loyal and finish her job. She sighed as she stood outside Shi and Zhao's door, hoping they hadn't already left.

She was one of the few they had actually trusted with their location..because she wasn't dumb enough to get herself caught.

Zhao glanced at the door warily, but nodded for Shi as he headed over to open it. To his relief, it was Kokoro.

"...Well, at least someone has stuck around," Zhao muttered bitterly. "Someone of good breeding, for once."

"Amelia sends her regards..she'd be here if she wasn't locked up along with Kent and Daichi. Julianna had enough respect to at least warn us about Mei's discovery, thanks to her father. But I doubt she'll be joining us." Kokoro said, casually handling the large hammer on her back like it was as light as a feather. "Are you going to attempt to hide?"

No," Zhao muttered. "Because of that rat attacking me, they'll be coming after me anyway..." Zhao said, rising up. "This solves our trouble, any rate...all of them together will make this easier."

"Well, knowing my cousin we'll be heavily outnumbered. She'll probably bring the best." She at least expected Emma to be here. Li? Who knew..she never could get a read on that woman.

"It's no matter," Zhao smiled, hand on Kitten's head. "We have more than enough power here, don't we, Kitten?"

"...Yes, Master Zhao." Kitten spoke softly. She didn't..know why she felt so sad. But, she wouldn't let anyone hurt Zhao, so she would fight as hard as she possibly could. "I won't let them hurt you..."

Kokoro gave Kitten a stare before she nodded in agreement. She never did seem like much of a threat...until she fought.

"Good girl," Zhao smiled. "We can do this, Kitten...you have faith in us, don't you?" This was no time for doubt, why did this girl not trust in what he said?

"I do.." She was quick to answer, but her words were hesitant. She just..didn't believe that Sejae would attack him on his own. He knew who she was..he knew she attacked Mei, and yet he just let her be. It didn't make sense at all, not in the least...

"We will discuss it later, I promise," Shi murmured, nuzzling against her neck as his hands slid along her stomach, starting to glow. "Now let me in, sweetheart...then we can fix everything..."

Kitten looked at Shi and nodded before closing her eyes and submitting herself to him. When they discussed things..it always made sense. So this time wouldn't be different..would it?

Kokoro watched in minor curiosity. How did he do that technique, anyway?

It was almost erotic in display as he slid his hands along her breasts and slid his body closer, and...he just sort of sunk into her body, his arms extending to hers as they seemed to tighten and relax in unison. Her eyes glimmered faintly before they took on an unmistakable duality. Zhao nodded at Kitten, and then to Kokoro. "Well, I hope you're ready then..." Zhao murmured. Because he could already see the van coming down the street, and Komoku had leapt out halfway through. Tch, rabid dog...so this was the wolf pack, was it?

He was a wolf of his own.

Kokoro slipped the hammer off her back and then walked out of the house. It would be...annoying to fight inside. She needed room, the street was a good place to start. And the moment that van stopped and Mei slipped out, her red eyes were lock on her.

"Kokoro.." So it really was true. Mei glared at her cousin, feeling a rage boiling inside of her. Did she just use Adam to spy on them?! That was just low. But..first thing was first. "Where is Di Zhao and Di Shi?!"

"Patience, Mei," Zhao smirked as he walked out with Kitten. "We're all here, after all."

"Good," Komoku growled. "Because I'm going to pound you into the dust for jumping Sejae, you fucking coward!"

"Please," Zhao muttered. "As if I would even waste my breath on someone like him?"

Kitten twitched at Komoku's accusation, but she couldn't think right. The only urge she had was to just jump on Komoku for threatening Zhao. She started to move forward, crouching into that feral stance Mei recognized. Shi was inside of her...she could tell by her eyes, somehow.

"Normally I would ask people to surrender before I capture them, but you don't get that choice, Di Zhao. You've manipulated too many people to do your dirty work, and you pissed off the wrong guy."

"Oh please, none of us were manipulated." Kokoro commented before smirking a little. "At least not the smart ones. Catalina, thought you'd be clever enough to hide just like the others..."

"Pinche puta." Catalina simply replied as she leaned against the van. "I just came to watch your defeat. So I can tell Emma she doesn't need to worry anymore. This isn't my fight."

Komoku moved forward towards Kitten, eyes narrowed as his nostrils flared up a moment.

"...My fight isn't with you, girl." he muttered. "I promised Sejae I wouldn't lay a hand on you, so why don't you pull that disgusting chink out of you and step aside, so I can kick the ass of the people who really matter?"

"Hmph," Zhao muttered, summoning a spear...of pure spirit energy. Jana blinked a little in surprise, drawing her swords. Oh boy...this was going to be rough. But her blood was burning, and it was hard to stop the grin on her face. This was the guy, huh...? Not for much longer...

A faint look of surprise came across Kitten's face. Sejae asked him not to hurt her? No..she couldn't believe a word anyone said...she might have trusted Sejae a little, but she trusted Shi and Zhao more. She dashed forward immediately..no time to think. Just attack..the quicker the battle was over the faster she could get back to peace. She started with a high kick towards Komoku's chin. She was fast..but Mei was certain Komoku could handle her.

"Jana...Kuki. Be careful." Mei muttered before she drew her sword slowly and then looked towards Kokoro as she slowly started walking towards her. "Why, why do you hate me?" She demanded, staring at her cousin. "Why did you use Adam? Just to hurt me?!"

"Yes." Kokoro simply said before she lifted up the huge hammer, straight above her her head. "And now I will hurt you for real..."

Dujae was the first one in, unsurprisingly...he ignored all of them and went right for Zhao. He broke into a sprint and spun around, his leg a veritable whirlwind of fire that Zhao avoided, the wall of his house cracking under the impact. Komoku growled, weaving back to catch her ankle. "Don't make me a liar, Kitten," Komoku muttered. "Don't make me tell Sejae that I had to hurt his friend, because she wouldn't listen. I don't want to do that. I'm givin' you one last chance."

"You're a bad liar," Jana muttered to Kokoro. "A worse liar than Mei." She knew the look of a girl who was into it, even if she refused to act like it.

Kitten glared at Komoku, growling a little. "Don't talk to me..I'm not going to fall for your tricks..." She seemed like she was struggling to talk..it was hard when Shi was inside of her. But for some reason she was doing it now. Every time Sejae was mentioned she just..she felt doubt. She pulled her ankle free, but she didn't back off, she just let loose another flurry of kick towards him. She wasn't worried about Dujae, he was weak. This was the one who was a threat and she wouldn't let him get passed her.

Kokoro scoffed and then swung her hammer down, the impact so hard it created a crater in the street. "Just hurry up and come at me. I stole Adam from you, Mei. When I fucked him he still had feelings for you, but now all he thinks of is me. But I don't give a shit about him." She lied as she started walking closer to them.

"Don't make me do this. It's not too late. I don't want to fight you." Jana was right..she was lying. She really did like Adam...Mei could see it when she said his name. Komoku only mattered to her now..so her words didn't anger her. It just made her want to help Kokoro even more.

Komoku took the hits, arms up in defense as they slammed against his arms. "Tricks!?" Komoku growled. "You want to see a trick!? HOw about the one that fucking snake pulled over you! It doesn't take a genius to realize that Sejae ain't scary because he's just strong! He's scary because he's smart! So why would that fool attack Zhao if he wasn't going to hit you!?"

Zhao swung his spear, and Dujae blocked it with an upraised leg. Zhao's brow arched curiously at that, but he didn't budge. "Your brother fights different," Zhao mused. "Cleaner."

"Yeah?" Dujae muttered. "Nothing about you is going to be clean when I'm finished, buddy." he growled, shifting the spear with his leg and launching a bolt of fire with a sharp kick from his other. Zhao dodged, grimacing when the pain in his chest kicked in, and Dujae advanced. His kick was high, and the arc of flame slammed right into Zhao's chin as he staggered back with a pained grunt. He couldn't believe that...!

"Adam's been happier lately," Jana told her as Kuki moved around to the side, blade not drawn yet. "More focused. I don't think he'd like to hear about this...and if you put your hammer down, he won't have to."
