School Rumble (Broom and I)

"Shi and Zhao, and I have no idea who is who." Kent murmured. "That's all I know, and that's probably all you'll be able to find out, I doubt anyone else knows more than that...believe me, I tried looking. I just know these guys are serious, Mei. I agree with what they're doing, but I don't know what limit they have." he said, glancing to the door as it opened, and Jana appeared, taking in a mouthful of air. Had she been running, she couldn't tell.

"...You got a second, Mei?" Jana murmured. "It's important."

Mei looked back at Jana and then rose from her seat. "Jana..of course." She turned back to Kent. "I believe you...thank you for the names." Even if she couldn't do much..that was something. "I'll come up with a punishment for you and your friends later..."

She left the room and then closed the door, hearing it lock automatically. "What's the matter, Jana? What's going on? Are you alright?"

She handed her the paper, eyes determined. "...Justin found Blake," Jana murmured. "I'm going, now...I figured...I mean..." How could she word this, exactly? It was a moment of vulnerability she didn't like remembering, but Mei had been there. She had been her hero when she needed it most, she needed her there, too.

Mei looked at the paper and then narrowed her eyes. She was surprised that Justin of all people had found someone she couldn't..perhaps he was more useful than she ever thought he could be. But that was a thought for another time. "You don't have to say anything. I'm going with you, Jana." Mei would always be there for Jana, just like she had been there for her.

"...Thanks," Jana smiled, hand on her shoulder. "C'mon, then...I want to finish this mess so I can get back to real work." She didn't run away from her fears, she hit them head on, preferably a lot, and with fire. Lots of fire.

...Mostly fire.

Mei smiled and then held her hand for comfort. "Gladly, Jana. I want to watch you destroy him..." Mei walked down the hall with her, towards the exit. When she saw Justin waiting outside, he gave her a smile. "Justin..I can't thank you enough for finding him for us." Mei told him, which really took Justin by surprise. Was this really the Ice Queen? Thanking him? Why did she look cuter that he remembered?

"N..no problem, Mei. Geeze, I heard the rumors but didn't think you changed this much." He stated with a grin. "It's a good change, you're definitely leader material." Mei sighed softly, her cheeks blushing a little at the praise. Sheesh. She really was cute now.

"She's great," Jana grinned, arm around Mei's shoulder. "Of course, I always knew that...you people are just hopping on the bandwagon like a bunch of posers," she sniffed, holding her close. "I had her first, you know."

Mei sighed a little but she had a content smile on her face. Justin was glad to see that those two were still close if not closer than before. That was good, that meant Jana always had someone to be there for her.

"Well, let me just call us a taxi or something," Mei began as she pulled out her phone.

"A taxi for what?" A voice came from behind her, which caused her to jump and nearly drop her phone. Justin suddenly reached out and caught it. It was just her mom, why was she so jumpy?

"Thanks Justin..." Mei mumbled as she took her phone. He got faster..and he was already pretty quick the first time she met him. Mei sighed and turned to face her mother. "Not my place to say." This was Jana's business. If she wanted to tell her mother, she could.

"Don't play so coy, Megumi," Melanie sighed as she walked behind her with a faint smirk. "You know you want to find out, stop acting like you're not..."

"Justin found Blake," Jana murmured. "...And...I um..." Mei, Justin? Yeah, she could ask them...her adopted Mom, and Mei's mom?

"Hush, girl...course we're coming along," Mel grinned, arm around Megumi's neck. "God knows you kids need some elegance when you're out dispensing justice."

Justin wasn't surprised to see his Master. She did give him a ride here after all. He never told her why exactly, he just told her it was serious. So she took him here. Though Mei's mother...well that was a surprise. Why was she dressed up like a nurse?

"We also need a ride. But we will handle everything else." Mei assured as she looked at the two rather suspiciously. She didn't have time to think about their shenanigans, though. They needed to get this bastard.

"Of course." Megumi answered as she nuzzled into Mel. "We know you kids can handle it."

"This is your party, hun," Mel told Jana with a smile. "Megumi and I are just going to be there to make sure that bastard doesn't escape."

"Thanks, Mom," Jana smiled brightly. Now? Now she felt like she could take on the world. "...And thanks for taking care of Justin."

"Don't sweat it," Mel grinned. "Kid still has some rough edges...but no worse than when I let you go, I think he's ready to be a big boy now."

"Alright then!" Jana said, smacking her fist into her palm. Not even Mel and Megumi's weirdness could get rid of her burning spirit today! "Let's go catch that creep!"

The ride over to the slums of Red was longer than Mei would have liked. Ever minute dragged on. She was quietly burning with rage. He thought he could get away with this...she'd never forget his smug face when that girl came to save him. But this time, she wouldn't let him slip away.

They parked a few blocks away. They didn't want to alert him. Justin knew exactly where they were going so he led the way. He stopped in front of a particularly old looking, ranch style home. The lot was filled with overgrowth, and the only clear walkway path was the driveway. "We're here." He told them. He would let Jana take over from there.

"Good," Jana said, slipping out of the car. "Mei, get the back. Justin...get the left. Mom, can you and Megumi get the right?"

"Of course," Mel murmured, slipping out with her as Jana moved up the worn path. She thought a lot about how she was going to do it...but she settled on what she did best, direct and violent. She was a Red girl at heart. There was no being 'the better person', here. It was proving a point.

Mei did exactly as Jana asked, following Justin while her mother and Mel split off.

Blake was highly unaware that there was anyone at his front door, considering he was just..sleeping in a pile of old linen. Like he normally did during the day. He wasn't expecting any company. However, the sound of his phone going off woke him up. He grumbled but didn't even move to get it. Probably one of his sisters bothering him.

Jana waited until everyone was in position before she simply kicked the door down with an explosive burst of fire, the shitty wood splintered when it slammed into the wall and Jana drew her blades, fire roaring off of them.

"Knock knock, you rapist fuck!" she spat, stalking into the house.

He couldn't ignore that. By the time he scrambled to his feet, she was already in the living room. Her blinked a few times as if he didn't recognize her. But then his memories slowly started to recollect, and he went as pale as a ghost. Wait..did she come here alone? No..she wasn't stupid. "How the hell did you find me?" He growled.

"I smelled the disgusting odor from Central," Jana growled. "Round two, you little shit. Just you and me, you're not running away."

Blake stared at her for a moment before that surprised look came off his face and was replaced with a grin. She wanted to do this one on one? He could do that! "Alright, but if I win I'm going to use your body as a meat shield for whoever else may be standing outside...I'm not fucking going to jail, bitch!" He dashed over to grab his weapons and then faced her with a smirk. "Better finish me fast, my sisters hate it when I don't text them back."

"Don't worry," Jana purred, her blades going orange hot. "This'll be done faster than that limp dick you keep trying to pass off as pleasurable, the drugs felt better than you did."

"You certainly weren't complaining about it when you came all over my cock like a horny bitch!" Blake growled as he made the first moving, charging at her like a bull with a crazy look in his eyes. He wasn't afraid of her! Even if he was alone..he could do this without anyone's help...

Even if he hated being alone.

Jana's eyes narrowed as she waited, shifting her posture like a predator ready to pounce. She surged forward in a burst of flame, orange hot swords thrust out straight head before she went low and spun. She'd burn the fucking house down before he escaped, so he couldn't hurt anyone else!

He met her attack head on, the sound of steel clashing together as he glared down at her. He could feel the heat coming from her blades, but it didn't deter him. Instead, he pushed forward in attempt to overpower her while he tangled her feet with his shadow.

"Not this time," Jana growled, fire roaring at her feet to scatter light in every direction as she pushed forward, slamming her knee into his gut. "Where's all your friends now, Blake!? They get tired of you pawing at them like some disgusting pig!?"

He yelped in pain when her knee connected with his stomach, instantly pulling away as he raised his blades in defense. Her words gnawed at him, he seemed to be getting nervous and the sharpness in his eyes went away for just a moment as he was reminded that he was alone. However, it came back just as soon as it left. "Fuck you. I don't need anyone...I can do this by myself!"

"No, you can't." Jana said simply. "That's the pathetic thing, I was afraid of you...but I have no reason to be. You couldn't even take me without drugging me, you can't hurt me when I'm clean." Jana muttered. "How does that feel, you little shit? Where are all those girls? Why don't they care? Because you're a freak that needs help."
