School Rumble (Broom and I)

"Not bad," Kent complimented with a content grin, but his wrist twisted, and the ice shattered as the barrage came at him. His wind was his ally, and he had impressive control. He couldn't dodge all of them, his shirt and jacket sported tears as he weaved in and back out before he decided to meet her blow for blow, his fists battering away her rapid swings toward him as Daichi and Komoku's fight was a cascade of explosions around them.
--

Sejae shifted, grabbing her wrist and twisting, his fingers pressing into the soft flesh as he moved forward, his foot shiting behind her leg to trip her as his other hand immediately summoned a razor sharp point of ice, going for her throat in a warning.

Mei could hear the explosions but she was too busy focusing on Kent. He was quick, it was hard to get him to hold still. Even though she took that punch pretty well, she knew that it would be foolish to allow herself to get hit. Though she did notice that the wind current was snaking around him to aid his movements. Hmm, how well could he tolerate the cold, she wondered? Well, it was time to take a deep breath.

As soon as he went in for another punch, she slammed his hand to the side and immediately stepped in, getting so close that she could feel his breath on her face. Mei's lips moved in a sultry manner as she released her built up frost through her mouth. It caught in his wind, and suddenly a flurry of snow was surrounding him, disrupting his vision..and hers too. But Mei was just more interested in stopping it so she could get a solid hit on him.

******
She flinched in pain when he twisted her wrist, but she did not let that distract her. A quick snap of Amelia's free arm and she struck his forearm to the side, the blade narrowly missing her throat. This wasn't a pressure point, but it would definitely hurt immensely since she added a heavy dose of her spirit into the jab.

Kent's face went somewhere between surprise and confusion before the wind turned into a blizzard, staggering him back with a heavy grunt as he dispelled it quickly, shaking his head in surprise. Well, that was...different. Nothing that he was expecting Mei to actually do. "You fight different than I was told," Kent grinned in amusement. "I'm impressed!" She just up and took his advantage and made it more complicated for him to get in.
--

Sejae grimaced in pain, hissing a little as he moved with her arm. It wasn't a crippling of pain, however...it was because Dujae was ignoring the numbness and spinning forward with a powerful side kick to slam right into her chest.

"I'm not fighting to impress you." Mei told him as she slowly slid her sword back into her sheath, the snow in the air gathering and moving into scabbard. She was concentrating it all, like her mother had taught her. This was a far more efficient method of fighting, even though it was strange at times. "It's not too late to surrender, Kent. If you do, I will lessen you and Daichi's punishment."

********
Amelia couldn't do much. Her arm was still caught in Sejae's grasp. She took the hit directly, crying out in pain as she was launched off her feet and thrown back a few feet. He knocked the air right out of her chest. Crap, they were stronger than she anticipated...maybe if she wasn't alone...

She panted as she slowly rose up to her feet, though she was still smiling. She could take a few hits. "..Nice shot. You hit harder than I thought you would with a numb leg."

"Surrender?" Kent smiled, hand running through his well groomed hair. "Don't be so foolish, Mei! How am I supposed to understand your purpose if we do not fight? The true meaning of Turuga, of everyone's intentions can be explained through the honesty of a fight! Don't give up now! Your conviction is strong, I want to see more!"
--

"That's because I don't need to feel the pain," Dujae smirked. "Hey, bro...we should do this like we did that one girl in Red, back when we went to school?"

"Hm, good idea..." Sejae said, eyes narrowed in thought. "You get the back, I get the front?"

"Absolutely," Dujae grinned.

"You've got it all wrong. I am not giving up. I just won't feel bad now, hearing your answer." She moved her hand to the zipper of her skirt, slowly undoing it and letting fall from her shapely hips. Underneath it was a pair of black, jean shorts. They didn't do much to cover her flawless skin, barely coming to her mid thigh. "Okay. Let's try this again." She said slowly as she placed her hand on the sheath of her blade and readied herself for another charge. Stripping in battle probably seemed strange, but there was a reason for it. Her element would move more freely this way through her body.

**********
"So you two gang up on girls often, huh?" Amelia would have to play more defensively if she wanted to draw this fight out even more. But whatever they were planning, she didn't like.

Komoku got majorly distracted when he saw Mei strip down, and he suffered from a fist across the jaw for it. But...god damn.. When did she get so confident? He liked it, a lot. Kent rose a curious brow at that, not that he was...particularly complaining about the exposed skin either. Either way, he was willing to agree that round two should be more exciting.

"Let me show you a trick I learned," Kent smiled, clenching his fist a moment before letting out a jab...that sent forward a surprisingly fast burst of wind.
--

"Just the ones we think are cute enough," Sejae said, with a particularly charming -and sarcastic- smile. "What do you say, girl? You think you can handle both of us at the same time? I don't want to break you in half."

"Perish the thought," Dujae said dryly. Feh, this girl was nothing compared to his Bear, he felt like just kicking her hard would send her knocked over.

Mei didn't have much time to react, she drew her sword and out of her sheath again came a frigid blast of cold. As the two forces hit each other, it created a shockwave that was strong enough to send her skidding back. Snow started falling from the sky, more cold made her shiver..she was starting to get goosebumps..her skin was becoming deathly pale.

This was good. The cold felt really, really good. She almost didn't mind having all this skin showing. "Nice trick." She commented as she charged at him. The snow seemed to follow her like a magnet. She was absorbing it. Not doing so would be wasteful. Once she was close enough, she decided to mix it up. Instead of slashing with her sword, she sent her leg up to do a graceful somersault kick.

************
"Eh, don't worry about me, just do whatever you want. I want to see all your tricks." Ameliea said with a smirk as she stood there, cocking her head to the side. She could waste time.

Kent weaved out of the way just barely, the trail of ice making his skin crawl before he took advantage of the unique position he was in to strike. He focused all the wind he could manage in a few seconds and swung up. "Time to bring the hurricane!" he grinned eagerly, his uppercut starting a massive torrent of wind that spun in a narrow tunnel. This was an incredible fight! Mei was so much more dynamic than what he was told!
--

"Suit yourself," Sejae said as they moved in together. Sejae took in a breath, and blew out a mist of ice. Dujae moved forward, a lazy kick of fire kicked up a spray of steam. It obscured vision, but it also gave an interesting benefit. For starters, steam could be heated...or chilled. That gave them options. But right now, the option was to keep her on her toes. Sejae made the air cold, the mist turning into a sprinkle of snow as he advanced forward, his fist letting out a burst of ice.

Mei was really glad she was wearing shorts and a tight shirt, but she probably should do something about being caught in this torrent of wind. Before she could get carried too far, she closed her eyes and then shot an ice pillar to the ground, letting it crawl all the way up to her thighs. That kept her grounded enough to resist the wind, but he would likely use that moment to counter attack. She had to be ready.

********
Annoying...Amelia could barely see. Though she did notice the sudden temperature drop, and she hear the burst. She moved out of the way, though she knew the other one would probably try to strike at her soon.

She wished Daichi and Kent would hurry up...she couldn't deal with these two alone for much longer. But for now, she decided to follow the direct that the ice came from. She couldn't win anything if she didn't attack.

Kent moved toward, the wind simply seemed to ignore him as he rushed forward in a wide swing, coming from the extreme left to right to strike across her face. She was stubborn, and a great fighter! He knew this was the right choice!
--
Dujae didn't attack from behind, or the side...he was actually right in front. The cool hair immediately turned wet as fire ignited on his feet and he spun in a roundhouse, a brilliant arc of fire cutting through the snow while Sejae was already moving from behind, ice settling on his knuckles to strike at her back.

This was going to hurt, but Mei would take it. She knew he would counter attack, and so in one fluid movement, she manipulated the ice she had use to hold her. To Kent, it would probably look like she was just letting him punch her. But as his fist met with her cheek, the ice around her feet went on the offensive, turning into a blunt pillar that struck him hard in the stomach with immense force. That punch sent Mei to the ground. It hurt. Really bad..ugh, she was seeing stars.

*******
She saw that fire coming a mile away, what she didn't see was Sejae coming at her from the back. She hissed in pain as she was struck from behind and then whirled around for a counter attack. "This isn't fun anymore." She hissed as her hand, glowing with spirit energy, shot out to jab him in the chest.

Kent groaned in surprise, jerking back as he hit the ground with a wheeze of pain before he rose up carefully, hand on his stomach. He...didn't see that coming. He exhaled a little, shifting his stomach.

"I'm honestly impressed," he admitted. "I had heard you were a difficult opponent, but this?" he smiled. "You completely shut down my offense! No wonder you're the commander of the DC! Your position is well earned!"
--

"Not supposed to be," Dujae said, now behind her as his kick slammed against her temple in a burst of fire. At the same time, Sejae slammed his knuckles against her ribcage, jamming his other set of knuckles into her arm joint.

Mei rose up, slowly as she regarded him. "I told you I'm not fighting to impress you." She said, her voice a bit ragged as she moved her sword back into her sheath. "..But you can take a hit, I'll give you that."

**********
Amelia cried out in surprise as Dujae's foot met with the side of her head. Sejae's blow was what did her in, surprisingly. She dropped to the ground, but she didn't lose consciousness. She just couldn't move, no matter how much she tried. Eventually she gave up and started laughing weakly. "You two fight dirty..that's hot."

"All part of boxing," Kent said with a charming grin. "Alright, Mei...you win this round." he said with a faint sigh, scratching his neck. "Shoot...I didn't think I'd actually lose..."
--

"What is it with this place and crazy women?" Dujae said dryly as the two of them looked down at her.

"Don't ask me, you're dating one of the craziest," Sejae grunted, leaning down to lift her up. "Alright, hot stuff...you're under arrest and...whatever else we're supposed to tell you. Put your hands behind your back," not that she had much choice, considering Sejae forced them on her back and cuffed her with ice.

Mei raised an eyebrow at that. She didn't expect him to give in like that, but she wasn't going to be complaining. He wouldn't be the first to give up after experiencing what she could do. "Smart." She responded as she walked closer to her. "Put your hands behind your back, Kent." She glanced over to Komoku and Daichi. If it lasted this long, they must have been pretty evenly matched.

******
"That's cold," She whined when she felt the ice around her wrist. Eh, she didn't mind if they arrested her. She wondered how Kent and Daichi were fairing..guess she'd find out soon enough.

Daichi's eyes narrowed at his opponent, who hadn't stopped grinning since they started fighting. He had to admit, he had fought many strong opponents...but there was something different about Komoku. He had no formal training, that much was clear on simply how he stood like some war mongering thug, his fighting stance was not one at all...yet he didn't need it. His blows were like taking a brick to the body, and Daichi's faster reaction time was the only thing that had kept it even. They had spent a while circling one another, throwing out attacks to get the other on the defensive.

He was a remarkably patient fighter, for someone who seemed to have a temper of a rabid dog. They moved forward again, in the most brutal form of dancing possible. Every action, there was a reaction. No blow was wasted between either of them, Daichi attacked, Komoku parried or blocked. It was a consistent display of give and take, explosions littered their duel.

"C'mon," Daichi growled, swinging out a hook that Daichi avoided with an almost casual weave underneath before he surged up, his palm slamming into Komoku's jaw with a horrible boom. Komoku staggered back, and Daichi was on him. Every hit was focused and precise, one in the chest, another in the stomach and a third slammed into the side of his ribcage. Komoku let out a groan of pain, the crack was audible as he stumbled back with a spit of blood.

"Ooh...now we're talking," Komoku grinned wider. "Come on...I can smell that animal in you, Samurai. Let's see some teeth, let's hear you ROAR!" he said, energy rippling off Komoku's battered chest in waves, his muscles tightening. Daichi narrowed his eyes, letting out a focused breath.
--

"Holy shit," Dujae muttered as they joined the group of them watching. Quite the crowd had formed, Komoku seemed to be an endless sponge of adrenaline. No matter what you hit the bastard with, he just kept coming. It had been quite some time since Komoku had gotten so excited, the energy from the both of them was coming off like a heat wave. Dangerous and capable of going off at any moment.

Mei cuffed Kent, and she stood there with a faint grimace as she watched the two fight one another. Daichi had an advantage of speed and skill. Komoku had endurance, however. And strength. She knew no matter what the outcome was, Komoku would need medical attention after this. While he looked like he was having fun, she couldn't help but worry for him.

"Come on, Daichi!" Kent said. "Loosen up! You're way too stiff! You gonna let that two-bit street rat beat you up?!" Daichi's expression settled into a grimace, fingers tightening a moment. It wasn't that...it was just-

"Yeah," Komoku grinned, slamming his fists together with a faint rumble of energy. He was practically glowing, grinning from ear to ear like an excited child who had found a toy that couldn't break. "What's up, Sushi-breath? You can't handle this? Too scared to get into a real fight? One that makes you wonder if you're going to die? Am I making you piss down your leg?" An insufferable, dishonorable dog of a warrior was so potent? How was that fair?

"Don't let that pile tell you anything!" Kent groused. "Come on, Daichi! Let loose! That idiot wants a fight!"

Daichi let out a long, drawn out sigh before he relaxed his posture...not his expression as he rolled his shoulders. He glared at Komoku, and on a secondary notion...glared at Kent too.

"...Oh boy," Sejae mumbled. Just like that, the air got thick with tension.

"You bark all day," Daichi muttered. "Time to muzzle."

"Ooh, tough words," Komoku purred, curling his fingers at him with a smirk. "Come on, big boy...shut me up."

"Gladly," A faint shift of his foot, and he was gone. Komoku must have seen him, because he prepared a second before Daichi appeared in front of him. He blocked, the explosion was massive, crumpling the ground underneath. Daichi's eyes were wild, his expression focused and calm as Komoku never lost that grin. He shifted forward, swinging at his face as Daichi weaved to the right and connected with a solid blow to his cracked rib. He let out a growl of pain, but not before he slowed him down with a quick kick to the shin. It shifted Daichi back, long enough for Komoku to wind up and swing, his arm went from one extreme left to the right. Daichi's face jerked almost painfully as the explosion rocked across his cheek and sent him sliding sideways.

He dug his heels in, ducking a half inch as Komoku's punch brushed past his cheek, splitting the skin in spurt of red. He surged into Komoku's body, his palms slamming into his gut as Komoku recoiled from the explosion and slid back. This was a fight. This was something Komoku could do all day.

"Yeah, that's fucking it!" Komoku grinned, blood lined across his teeth as he rushed forward, catching Daichi with a feint of his left to slam his fist into his jaw. Daichi staggered back and Komoku was on him, his straight kick slamming into his chest as Daichi rolled in pain, stopping and sliding on his feet as his snarled in fury, blood running down his lips. He would not let this mongrel beat him!

Daichi let out a brutal roar, slamming his fist down into the dirt as the ground crumpled, and a blast of energy rippled through the dirt. Komoku rushed forward to meet it, that grin of his wild as he focused his energy around him. It was a crazy plan, but it was going to work...it was just going to hurt like hell. He met the shockwave head on, the explosion was loud...and kicked up about six feet of smoke and dirt...but a half second later, Komoku was coming at him like a barely controlled freight train.

"Nice trick!" he snarled, his clothes tattered and shredded. "Now it's my turn!" he roared, his hand positively rumbling with power as Daichi's eyes widened in complete shock. How in the...!? He didn't have time to put up much of a defense, but the time his arms were up, Komoku's fist was already dead onto his face. The speed he was going, plus the explosion sent Daichi sliding back with a pained howl, slamming into a nearby tree as Komoku hit the dirt face first with a pained laugh.

The tree cracked, and fell backwards as Daichi...started laughing too. It was the most awkward, choking, crying laughter that Dujae and Sejae had ever heard.

Mei didn't understand what was so funny. Honestly, it was a gruesome scene. It looked like..the fight ended in a draw. Neither of them looked like they would be getting up. Mei had never seen Komoku this ruthless. He had gotten much better since the last time they fought. She jogged over to his side and knelt down to get a closer look at him. Mei didn't care about the crowd, she wanted to see how bad Komoku's injuries are. "You're really something..." She muttered to him as her eyebrows furrowed with worry. She would deal with the arrests later, she needed to make sure he was..going to be okay until she could get him some medical aid.

"Ah...I haven't fought like that in a long time!" Komoku laughed, rubbing his neck as he sat up with a faint stretch. "I think I broke a rib, though."

"You think?" Dujae muttered incredulously. "You just dealt with fighting some kind of firecracker, you big idiot...and you THINK you broke a rib?"

"Well...yeah," he mused, shifting a little. "...Bah, I'm fine. Nothing some rest won't fix."

Mei sighed and shook her head. Well, she wasn't worried if he could sit up. His pain tolerance was much higher than hers was. She sighed softly and then looked back to Kent. She saw another student handcuffed, one she could only assume had started trouble with Dujae and Sejae. "Let's get these three back to Central, and we'll get you fixed up, Komoku." Right after she put her clothes back on.

Komoku eyed her a moment, standing up with a faint grin. "Yeah, sure..." Damn, she looked hot after a fight. All that sweat on her skin, all that calm, cool demeanor still bubbling from the rush of adrenaline...mm. Perfect. No better way to see her. "Let's get back, then."

Those clothes were coming off immediately. As soon as he had the chance.

Getting Kent, Daichi, and Amelia back to central wasn't too hard. All of them seemed fine with being in cuffs, which was strange to her. Then again, it was in their nature...taking it easy anyway. Three new students..she hoped at least one of them talked. She was certain all of them were apart of the four Nicholas mentioned, the question is..where was the last one? Who was it?

That could wait though. The three were separated and put into different rooms. She would give Kent a visit just as soon as she made sure Komoku got to the nurses office. If it were anyone else, they'd probably be in the hospital.

Mei could tell Komoku had his eye on her, and she had to admit, she was in the mood too despite her swollen and bruised cheek. However, she would take care of that later.

But to her surprise, the nurse wasn't in the infirmary today. No. Instead it just had to be the one person in the world she didn't want to be around while she was with Komoku. It was...her mother. With big smile on her face. No. Anyone but her, excluding her father.

"Oh dear, what's with that face, Mei? Didn't you know I'm a substitute nurse here?" Megumi asked as her eyes settled on the reason why she was here in the first place. He was...her daughter had good taste in men.

"...Who is this lovely vision, Boss?" Komoku grinned widely. Oh my. Between the two of them, Komoku was rock solid as it was...this was just a horrible tease now. "You hiding pretty girls from me, now?" Oh, wait...a faint little twitch of the nose confirmed it. Ooh, hello Mei in ten years. Rawr.
