You stand behind an impeccably clean window many stories up within the the JoJo Headquarters building, looking out over the sprawling city. Without the sun interfering with your view, you can clearly see The Wall, despite how small it is. Buildings cover the landscape, and you can clearly see the Energy District nearby.

Next to you stands a man of razor-sharp uniform. You know him only as Mister Sir. His azure gaze is fixed on the Energy District, while his arms are behind his back. It seemed he was thinking of something before he spoke up.

"You're only alive because we think we can make use of you, little girl. Don't make us think otherwise." Mister Sir said while his gaze was fixed on the Energy District in the distance. "Your Godiver Code is 'Switch'. That is the name I will call you during your missions, and it is also the name other Godiver members will call you, should the rare occasion come where you are teamed with another."

Mister Sir turned away from the window with a reluctant gaze and walked to his desk near the back of the spacious office. He picked up something small and black, which you couldn't identify until he brought it to you. It was a very small firearm. One you had never seen before.

"This pistol shoots two completely silent rounds, and leaves no gunshot residue behind, although I expect you'll only have use for one." Mister Sir said with a firm voice and composure. "Bring back the extra bullet and you'll get a bonus on your paycheck. Failure will mean you're dead."

Mister Sir then walked back to his desk and placed the pistol upon a small box, then looked back at you, the same stern look on his face.

"This is your mission equipment. I expect to see every piece of it, short of the ammo, back in this box. If you survive." He said while motioning to the box with one hand. "You have two hours to get outfitted with this equipment. at the end said time, I will brief you. If you think you need practice, you can get some in the basement level with your spare time."

Mister Sir then walked around and sat on the comfortable leather chair behind his desk, and began typing on a keyboard while staring intently at the LCD screen in front of him.

"Questions?" Mister Sir asks you without stopping to glance at you.

You'€™re currently in the lunchroom, enjoying a meal of your choice. It's nothing fancy, but to you it is amazing. A definite change from the protein and electrolyte goop that you were force-fed three times a day. You probably would have tried to eat the ceramic tray if your only two friends hadn'€™t told you otherwise.

You'€™ve only made a couple of friends, due to the more popular students discovering your alleged past, but they know better than to bully you. These two friends you've made are fairly respected, due to having nearly won the Grand Melee last year against the lead student of your kendo class.

Tésíx (Tay-say), your first friend, is sitting across from you at the table you currently occupied, occasionally looking up from his food to give you a smile. However, there are times when you catch him deep in thought. During these times, his hazel green eyes seem to have a depressed air about them. Tésíx is very tall. Much taller than you, and his body, from what you'€™ve seen, appears to be athletically toned.

Atroku (Ah-troh-kew), who is more of an acquaintance to you, is sitting strangely close to Tésíx. You'€™ve heard some people speculate that the two young men are gay, whatever that means, but you know they both prefer women, having spent the most time in their presence. Atroku isn'€™t far off from your height, and is quite thin.

As the three of you enjoy your lunch hour, the air seems to tense, which is swiftly followed by the entrance of your kendo class leader, Seiji Mirocco, whom is also known as Kendo Girl. Seiji always carries her shinai with her everywhere, most of the time within a sword bag. Her stern, sometimes angry, face is occasionally frightening, especially during class, and she has also been known to get violent whenever she gets angry. Having entered the cafeteria, she scans the large lunchroom until her eyes fall on you.

Striding at a quick pace, Seiji maneuvered around tables and chairs until she reached you. Looking over at Tésíx, you could find a look of exasperation on his face, while Atroku'€™s seemed to bear anger. It was well known that Kendo Girl, for one reason or another, felt the need to issue tasks to others she considered to be of lower station than her. It was obvious she was here to do so.

"The three of you will be cleaning the dojo today. Don'€™t be late."€ Seiji said in a stern manor.

As she turned away, Tésíx chimed up.

"Oi. Aren'€™t you going to help, Kendo-san? I'€™ve never seen you in the dojo helping out, despite the fact you'€™re there every day, even during lunch." Tésíx said in a questioning voice.

Seiji paused at Tésíx'€™s words, and turned to face him after he had finished, leaning in toward him in an attempt at intimidation. Tésíx'€™s face grew stern, and he didn'€™t move.

"€œI leave the cleaning to the lowly trainees. I am a champion. Remember that." Seiji said to Tésíx'€™s face through gritted teeth. "And that honorific is 'sama'€™. I'€™ll always be a greater warrior than you."

Atroku moved to stand, but Tésíx put a hand on his chest, staying him. He trusted you to keep your cool in this tense moment, despite how pleasing it would have been to gang up on her.Seiji merely glanced at Atroku before returning her icy steel gaze to Tésíx, which then switched to you.

"And you!"€ The indignant young girl began. "€œWearing a hat everywhere is disrespectful, especially in the dojo. I expect you to take it off the next time you are in class. Don'€™t be late for clean-up."

Seiji then made her way out of the cafeteria, the eyes of the remaining students within upon her. Tésíx merely sighed before shaking his head and taking another bite of his chocolate pudding. Atroku, however, had only one word to say.

"Bitch." Atroku said calmly after crossing his arms.

His crimson gaze fell upon his juicy half-eaten burger, which he then scooped up and took a large bite from. Tésíx removed his spoon from his mouth and pointed it at you.

"Don'€™t worry about the hat thing. I'€™ll talk to Roukoro-sensei about it." Tésíx said in a confident tone. "I'€™m sure he'€™ll listen to me. But, why do you wear a hat all the time? Is something wrong with your head?"

Atroku didn'€™t seem to pay any mind to the question. He was busy eating his burger.

Your current possessions:
3 sharpened pencils
1 pen
1 Endsville Central High School female uniform

Re: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

In hindsight, there were many ways in which she could have done this. Ways that wouldn't have put her in the situation she was in now. How did that saying go? Passion negates rational? Touma always thought that the saying was complete and utter bull, up until she found herself a victim of passion. Had she been thinking clearly, she would have just done the logical thing and tried to get a job with Jojo like most of the normal people in Endsville did. They were the biggest employer, they paid well, and with her parents as recommendations, it wouldn't have been that hard to secure a job there.

But her curiosity got the better of her. She wanted to know things, she had to know things. It became an obsession, a needless thirst for answers that could only be quenched when they were found.

Some good that ended up doing her. Here she stood in the office of someone called Mister Sir - what the hell kind of name was that anyway - who made it clear that she would have been killed already if they hadn't thought her to be useful in some way. Jojo he must have meant. Honestly, there were a lot of things about her current position that she didn't understand.

The last thing she remembered, she jumped off the back of the transport that she boarded and tried to sneak into the restricted area's of the wall. Then, she remembered a black bag being pulled off of her head and being escorted here in this office.

Now, this man she had never seen before was telling her that she had a code name and handing her a gun. Paycheck? Failure meant death? Mission equipment? Briefing? Practice? The conversation was one sided, mostly because she could only make out every other word in between the sound of her heart pounding in her ears. Questions? If she asked all of the questions that were running through her mind right now, they would be here until this time next week in a most exasperating question and answer session that she was certain would result in her being murdered by the man out of sheer annoyance.

Touma shook her head numbly.

Her chocolate brown eyes slowly looked down at case in her hands. She knew that the pistol that he had been holding was inside of it. It held two shots. Silenced. Extra pay for returning with one bullet left in the gun? Pay for what? What mission? What the hell was happening here? What else was in the case she was holding? She definitely needed to get out of the office and some place where she could think in peace. Some place where this questionably named Mister Sir wasn't. He said he would brief her in two hours. And that she could practice if she needed. Practice handling the fire arm? This was the first time she ever held a gun in her life, much less seen a pistol like this one.

"None," she barely managed to say.

For now, she was at the mercy of Jojo, of Mister Sir, and whatever the hell Godiver turned out to be.

Re: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra sat at the lunchroom table glowing. Lunch was one of her happiest times of day. She had a beautiful bowl of luscious fruit. The food at the school was indeed far from extraordinary but compared to the grool she was fed it was like taking a bite of the purest of substances.

Sephra enjoyed the occasional smile she received from Tésíx, and the company of both of the boys that shared her table. They were both handsome, and kind to her. Plus they didn't poke at her about where she came from. She smiled back at Tésíx and popped a scrumptious little grape into her mouth She knew how some of the kids felt towards her. She could feel the staring eyes of those who knew her secret. She heard whispers every time she walked by. Sephra was glad to have such an understanding friend like Tésíx, and Atroku simply didn't seem to have much interest. Which was great for her.

As the vibe in the room grew tense Sephra looked up only to see that Seiji was looking directly at her and making her way to their table. Her gaze then quickly switched over to Tésíx and Atroku with a bit of aggravation. She watched the way Seiji spoke to Tésíx and the way he reacted.

There was a slight twitch under her hat as her ears moved but, no one was paying attention to her now. And when the burning contact of Seiji's eyes fell upon her she cocked her head very slightly to the side and, holding back a vexed attitude she innocently responded to Seiji's initial statement to her with a confidant "Yes?"

Sephra disregarded the self-righteous girl's demand modestly to keep herself from snapping at her and responded again, just as innocently "I'm never late Miss Seiji." Sephra smiled slightly until the bratty young girl was out of sight. And directly after Atroku said his short piece, almost cutting him off she scoffed and angrily complained about her. "Do you think her parents know how rude she is? Honestly, she's one to talk about whats considered disrespectful.."

Sephra was taken aback slightly by Tésíx's question. She hadn't expected him to ask. What should she tell him? The truth? That was absurd, what if he didn't understand? Sephra blushed and quickly raised her pen to Tésíx's spoon. "Lower your weapon, Sir." She said in a playful tone buying her time to think of an adequate response. She then returned her pen to it's resting place and popped another sweet grape into her mouth, swallowing it promptly. "It was a gift from someone very dear to me. Someone i don't see anymore. it's not something i openly discuss.." Sephra took solace in knowing she hadn't lied to her friends; Lizzie was dear to her, and she didn't see her anymore.

Sephra was ready to clean the dojo. She was happy to 'work where she played' so to speak. And cleaning with friends made it all the better. She needed to let her ears and tail have some fresh air though and, like she said, she was never late. So, she would simply need to leave lunch early to go to her room. She finished picking at her fruit and gathered what little items she had. "I need to head back to my room really quick, there's something i wanted to do before lunch is over." she said as she looked up at Tésíx and Atroku. "Hopefully i don't run into Seiji again."

"Good." Mister Sir said simply.

He took his hand off of his keyboard long enough to point to his metallic office double doors.

"The elevator is passed those doors. take it to the basement. You don't want practice, Switch. You need it. Now go." Mister Sir said in a tone edged with irritation.

He brought his hand back to his keyboard and began typing once again.

Tésíx found your deflection humorous, and began attacking his fruit cocktail instead, but, when you changed the tone to something serious, he listened intently, making eye contact with his entrancing hazel-green eyes. Even Atroku found your words to be of slight interest.

At your desire to leave, Tésíx stood, and Atroku followed suit.

"I don't think it would be a good idea for you to go alone." Tésíx said in a low tone, his face possessing a serious look. "People are still kinda' unfriendly around here. They will be until we set Kendo Girl straight."

Atroku remained by Tésíx's side, silently looking at you with his eerie crimson gaze.

This situation was of minor concern, since some of the lackeys of more popular girls would bully you if you were away from Tésíx for too long. Nothing serious had happened in the past, but things have gotten pretty heated at times. You might say it was a matter of time before someone decided to start swinging on you.

Re: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra looked at Atroku, and then at Tésíx. How was she going to get around telling her friends about her hefty secret? She wanted them to know but, she didn't want them to reject her. She didn't want to be suspicious. Maybe they wouldn't mind knowing. She smiled and nodded slightly. "You two are welcome to join me, if you'd like."

Sephra fixed her uniform as she stood, inconspicuously of course. She was very irritated with the way her body cramped from hiding under her clothing. She would like so much to run around with her tail and ears exposed. Sephra continued to hold a smile while she faced the boys. After all, she did enjoy their company very much.

She also questioned Atroku's obedience and almost dependence toward Tésíx. Although, she kind of depended on him herself. She thought for a moment "I wonder if he likes being depended on.." The thought only lasted a second before her mind returned to concealing her wonders. "I'm sure they wouldn't tell anyone.." She said aloud before she realized words were actually coming out of her mouth. Thankfully, she had said it quietly.

Reassurance would have been nice. She wanted to lighten the burden of no one knowing about her, but she needed to know there wouldn't be an issue. As they began on their way to her quarters, without looking either of them in the eye, she asked playfully "Hey Atroku, Tésíx? Can you guys keep a secret?" she smiled as she turned around and walked backwards, her head cocked to the side slightly awaiting a serious response.

Omerta

It seemed that Tésíx and Atroku didn't hear what you whispered, since they made no response. They took their trays with them, dumped the remains in the trash can, and set them aside before following you.

Upon being questioned, Tésíx and Atroku looked at each other. Tésíx had a smile on his face, while Atroku had a slight smirk. It seemed they had secrets of their own.

"You can count on us, Sephra. We know what it's like, living with secrets." Tésíx said in a genuinely sincere and confident tone.

Atroku nodded to you before giving a fierce stare at a couple of jocks passing by.

It seemed that your secret would be safe with your friends. The three of you exited the main building, took the usually shortcut through the courtyard, entered the girls' dorm, and arrived at your door. As the three of you walked toward your door, you noticed a couple rather rough looking school girls. They seemed to be waiting for you, but quickly decided to abort mission once they noticed you had back-up. Upon seeing this, Tésíx motioned Atroku toward them, and the crimson-eyed young man strode quite quickly to catch them. Grabbing them by the necks of their uniforms, he turned them around to face him, and from what you can tell, he whispered something that put angry looks on their faces, before shoving them off.

Atroku then turned around, looking at Tésíx while brushing his hands off. Tésíx nodded with a serious look on his face.

"Is this your room?" Tésíx asked as he motioned to the door.

Re: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra smiled as she led the boys to her room feeling a small portion of the weight lifted off her chest. Maybe she would only tell Atroku. He didn't talk much anyway. Doubtful that he would care though. She was eager to tell the boys.

Sephra noticed the girls waiting for her and was instantly thankful for Tésíx and Atroku accompanying her to her room. She watched the motions Tésíx made toward Atroku curiously. And as she watched Atroku, having no idea what he said, or his intentions, she asked "Tésíx? What did he tell them?" She was a little suspicious of nice the two of them were to her. But, friends are supposed to be nice, right?

Sephra looked at Tésíx with a raised brow and watched the two of them as she opened the door to her room. "Yeah, this is my room. You're welcome to come in i should only be a few minutes." She left the door open and hurried into the bathroom and removed her hat. Yelling hastily to them on her way into her room "Shut the door behind you, please!"

It felt amazing to have her hat off and let her ears wiggle freely. She didn't feel too comfortable letting her tail free with Tésíx in the other room. She shivered as the fresh air blew against her ears and scratched behind them gently before putting her hat back on and leaving her bathroom. "Okay, i'm ready."

Omerta

"Don't worry about it. He's just taking out the trash." Tésíx said in a slightly amused manner.

Both Tésíx and Atroku entered your room behind you, closing the door when they entered. Clearly, your room is meant to house two people, and contains two if everything; desks, dressers, beds, etc. However, due to the attitude of the more popular students, you don't have a roommate, which has been heavenly for you.

Tésíx took a seat on the vacant bed, while Atroku inspected your room. After entering the bathroom and letting fresh air to your ears, you could hear a sniffing sound, as if someone was smelling the air.

"This room smells just like you, Sephra. It's very unique." Tésíx's voice came through the door.

At this statement, you knew Atroku was shaking his head.

After exiting the bathroom, you found Tésíx looking out of the window with his arms crossed, while Atroku sat on the vacant bed, his legs crossed in an almost feminine fashion. At the sound of the bathroom door being opened, Tésíx turned, a look of expectation on his face. It returned to normal when he saw that your hat was on.

Re: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Without a word, she turned and left the office. Once she was through the metallic double doors and in the elevator, she let go of the breath she had been holding. A slender finger pressed the "B1" button in until it glowed. The doors of the elevator closed after about ten seconds, and the ride down began.

Touma ran a hand back through her short, dark brown hair and sighed. "Geez. . .that guy was such an asshole," she muttered, leaning back against the wall of the moving cage. Her mind attempted to make more sense out of the things that she had been told, out of what happened, and what was happening, but it was hard to completely comprehend. All she knew was that she had a gun in a case with a bunch of other things. whatever was in this case, she would have to outfit herself with. And, she needed to get acquainted with the pistol she had been given. So, what exactly was she now?

Surely she wasn't a cop. Nor was she a member of the security forces. They didn't have lame code name's that sounded like they came out of an 80's science fiction comic. "I need to stay calm and figure out what exactly is happening. He said they think they can use me for something. And I was given a gun. One I have a couple of hours to get used to using. There are very few reasons I could need to learn how to use this thing. None of those reasons seem remotely good. But. . .whatever I end up doing, I'm going to have to do to keep myself alive."

Staying alive was the only thing that she could really hope to do right now.

Dudeguy

Cheesy elevator music played softly as the large elevator descended quickly, passing the lobby and descending into the basement. You feel the inertia of the elevator slowing quickly before stopping completely. Before you, the doors slide open, and a large man of obvious African-American descent stands just beyond the doors. You cannot see his eyes beyond his sunglasses, which, for one reason or another, he's wearing inside. He's wearing a JoJo elite guard outfit, signifying that he has seen Hell and lived to tell of its glory. His tall, wide demeanor, covered in rippling muscle, told stories of his obvious strength.

And yet, the only thing he held was a clipboard and a pen.

"Hey there, little... er, person. If you don't mind, could you give me your name, please?" The tall, muscular man asked, his voice low and husky, yet friendly and warm.

In this area, you could barely hear popping noises coming from behind the doors this man appeared to guard. It was a room big enough to rest comfortably upon the chairs lining the walls within. Upon said walls, were hearing apparatuses obviously designed to block noise, each bearing a number.

Re: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

It wasn't that often that Touma ran into someone who made her feel small. This was, unfortunately, one of those times. The man easily towered over her nearly food, and had to be twice as wide as she was. Yet, he didn't seem to be a bad person. He appeared to be much nicer than anyone she had seen here at the Jojo building yet. Especially the one who sent her down here.

"Katsuragi Touma," she replied. Hearing her speak, it wouldn't be easy for him to tell that she was in fact a young woman. Her voice was just deep enough to be questionable, her body slender yet solid enough to look as if it could belong to a young man, and the fact that she was wearing a simple pair of jeans, a pair of sneakers, a shirt, and a light jacket over it which hid her chest didn't really help either. And her name? Gender neutral. Unless he was specifically told otherwise, chances were he would question who he was looking at all day long.

"I was sent here by Mister Sir? Maybe. . .I'm listed as. . ." there were so many reasons she didn't want to say the codename she was given, but that was the name that she was told she would addressed as by the other members of the group. Whatever group that was. There was that, and the fact that it sounded rather. . .corny. Maybe she could get it changed one day? Maybe she was being far too optimistic. ". . .Switch."

RE: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra looked at the two with yet another curious look. Humans don't smell things that loud. She brushed the thought away and cleared her face. Standing in front of the two boys she sighed heavily and put her hand on her hat. "You have to promise me you wont tell anyone, okay?" Her heart was pounding with excitement and anxiety. No one but Lizzie knew. She didn't have anyone to confide in about it. Sephra hoped with her entire being that this wouldn't make things weird for her friends.

"Well, here goes." She didn't really intend on waiting for a response, so she slipped off her hat. Her eyes were closed tightly, not wanting to see their expressions. Her ears were slack in an embarrassed manner but, when she opened her eyes they perked up a bit. She looked at Atroku first, her ear twitching slightly. After having exposed her ears to the boys she smoothed her hair to keep it from looking too much like it had been hidden under her hat even though that was clearly the case. Sephra then removed her glasses and rubbed her eyes slightly. "I don't need those either." she said in a bit of a playful tone.

Sephra rocked back and forth on her heels to her toes putting her hands behind her back. And looked the two boys over, chewing on her lip slightly. "So, what do you think?"

The large man some would consider to be a giant scrolled down his clipboard with his pen, mumbling your name as he did so.

“Ah. Here we go. Katsuragi. Ain’t nothin’ here ‘bout the name Switch though.” The unnamed guard said in his gruff, kind voice. “It says you were issued your own set of P.P.E. though.”

At about this point, it occurred to you that Godiver wasn’t something that JoJo shared with all of its employees. In fact, Godiver was likely an organization secret.

The tall, gruff man proceeded to your right, toward what looked like a nondescript door, which almost seemed to blend into the wall. He entered through the door, and closed it behind him. A moment later, the wall next to the door folded up on hydraulics, revealing a small service desk. The unnamed guard waved you over with a couple fingers while simultaneously looking under the desk for your equipment.

“Hmm… Alrighty. Here it is.” He said before putting a small black box on the desk. “Take a look.”

Upon looking at Atroku, he had a raised eyebrow, out of curiosity for your words. His eyes then narrowed upon witnessing your closely guarded secret. Atroku closed his eyes and shook head, which then snapped to Tésíx, who had a completely different reaction.

“Sweeeet…” Tésíx exhaled, his eyes wide with surprise, which was quickly followed by a lunge in your direction.

Anticipating this, Atroku flew up from his seated position and wrapped his arms around Tésíx’s torso, holding him back from you. Even though Atroku’s head only came up to Tésíx’s chest, he held him in place, while the tall youth grasped at the air toward you.

“Be… have… Té.. síx.” Atroku struggled out.

“I just wanna’ touch ‘em! Just for a few seconds!” Tésíx tried to reason wildly while he struggled against Atroku.

Now that you’ve revealed your secret, it’s clear that it isn’t something new to them.

RE: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

"You can touch them, i don't mind." Sephra said with a relieved and delighted smile. No one had ever given such a reaction to her feline ears. Though, after seeing this reaction to her ears, it was probably best that she kept her tail hidden. Sephra put her hand on Atroku's shoulder as she took a step closer. "It's okay, i don't mind. Just don't pull or pinch or anything like that Tésíx.. be gentle." Sephra was pleased that the two didn't mind the strange additions to her body. She herself thought they were cute little black ears. They twitched slightly as she thought happily about them.

Sephra removed her hand quickly after having placed it on Atroku's shoulder, not wanting to invade his personal space. Balling her fist and putting her hands behind her back she blushed slightly "Sorry.." She wasn't sure why she had apologized to him. He just didn't seem like someone who liked to be touched. Sephra fiddled with her hat behind her back, still smiling slightly awkwardly now.

“See?! See?! She said I could!” Tésíx said while he continued to struggle.

Atroku growled while he held Tésíx in place, indicating he was getting irritated with the situation.

“Yeah, yeah…” Tésíx mumbled as he relaxed, putting his hands on his hips.

Atroku backed off of Tésíx, watching him closely before taking a seat on the vacant bed. He was ready to spring into action, just in case his best friend lost control again.

“Ooooo, yes! I love kitty ears!” Tésíx said with an excited tone as he walked toward you.

The sensation of Tésíx’s hands rubbing your ears was new, but familiar. The manner in which he rubbed them was different from Lizzie’s. She would usually pet your head gently behind your ears, but Tésíx went straight for your ears, rubbing them with his fingers.

“Wow. They’re so fuzzy and soft. I could play with these all day. And where’s your tail? Do you have one?” Tésíx asked with a smile on his face.

You could tell he’d do this all day if it were possible.

Atroku, on the other hand, sat with his arms crossed, staring out the window. It was obvious he wasn’t interested in what was going on. He crossed his legs again.

RE: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra closed her eyes uncontrollably at the relaxing feel of Tésíx's fingers molding her ears. Her body began to heat up and she started purring softly. "Hrmmm.. yeah... I have a tail." The sensation of Tésíx fingers was making it very difficult for her to pay attention. She shifted her uniform some allowing her tail to wiggle free and 'stretch'. Her purring was somewhat loud, she had always enjoyed Lizzie scratching her ears but this was down right amazing. After a few more moments it hit her that she probably looked very foolish right now in her euphoric half stance sort of whatever she was doing. She opened her eyes slightly, her eyelids were heavy. "T... Tésíx.. I.. think that's enough.." She had to have been running a fever by human standards, her tail was swaying back and forth at the end almost franticly and her knees might just give out on her soon. She shook her head slightly and pulled away from his hands. "Yes, time.. to stop." She shivered all through her body and opened her eyes all the way. "Shouldn't we get going here pretty soon..?" she questioned as she replaced her hat on her head.

Omerta

"We can wait a while..." Tésíx said seductively as he gently grasped your tail and stroked it outward.

"Ugh. You two are gonna' make me sick. I'm gonna' head to the dojo to meet Roukoro-sensei. Don't forget to use protection." Atroku said plainly as he got up from the bed and exited the room.

Tésíx let out an exasperated sigh after the door closed behind Atroku.

"Sorry. Atroku doesn't like cats... But I doubt he likes you any less just because you're a spliced. I think it's cool." He said kindly before giving you a pet on the head.

RE: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra's ear twitched while Tésíx stroked her tail. She pulled her tail away politely and looked up at him as Atroku left her room, her ears went slack slightly. Sephra looked away and put her hat back on. She was a little disappointed about her reaction towards Tésíx's massaging her ears. But she didn't know that was going to happen she'd never had strong masculine hands massage her ears before. "Yeah, well.. He wasn't too fond of me before anyway.." She looked around her tidy little room, not making eye contact with Tésíx again. "I don't remember a time where the two of you have ever been apart." The pink in her cheeks from blushing at Tésíx's comment about waiting was beginning to fade.

Atroku didn't seem to like her any less than before which, wasn't saying much. So, at least it hadn't really changed. "It's a good thing i'm not a totally cat then. If i was i wouldn't be here though." Sephra turned to face Tésíx, still not looking at him. She fixed her uniform hiding her tail away again before picking up her glasses. She swiftly replaced the glass lensed frames to their resting spot on her face and smoothed her hair. "Alright, well, I'm ready to clean now." She said with a bit of a forced smile, looking around to be sure she had everything she needed. Sephra turned and headed towards the door.

Even though you avoided his hazel green gaze, you could tell that Tésíx's demeanor had changed. He stood in place, even though you headed toward the door.

"Hey. What's the matter?" Tésíx asked in a concerned tone. "Just because you're a spliced doesn't mean Atroku hates you. You just have to prove that he can count on you."

The atmosphere grew serious, and you could tell that Tésíx waas no longer in his joking mood.

RE: Tears of Scarlet, Chapter 1: The End

Sephra turned to face him again. "Thank you, Tésíx. We should really get going now. I don't want to be late." She smiled slightly she held out her hand in an 'after you' sort of fashion. She was going to be thinking of his fingers on her ears all day now. And what had Atroku meant by 'Use protection?' Lizzie never said anything about her needing protection. Things seemed like they were going well, why would Tésíx need to protect himself from her? She shrugged, and shook her head slightly, smiling again. When would she ever see Lizzie again? Why were they going to make Atroku sick? And when was she going to get her ears massaged again? Sephra opened the door slowly.

Omerta

Tésíx gave a half-hearted sigh before exiting your room. It was clear he wanted an in-depth discussion with you, which he clearly didn't get. After securing your room, you follow Tésíx out of the girls' dorm, through the courtyard, into the recreational center, and up to the traditional shoji acting as the doors to the dojo. You could hear a bit of chatter from inside.

On the way to the dojo, it seemed that the tension melted easily between you and Tésíx, and he reminded you, once more, that it was disrespectful to wear your shoes in the dojo, since you had forgotten in the past. It was a side-effect of your sheltered life. Lizzie was with you only a few years, so she had little time to tutor you on the dynamics of the outside world.

Tésíx slid open the shoji and entered the dojo. He left his running shoes on the lower wooden step, looking over at what were obviously Atroku's boots. Now in his socks, he walked toward the teacher of the class, Roukoro-sensei. Roukoro-sensei sat, in proper form, at what he called his desk, which was a low table with a brilliant, beautiful design of a Japanese-painted phoenix arcing in a black sky with small clouds.

Tésíx bowed respectively to Roukoro-sensei, whom then gave a nod in return.

"The three of you didn't have to come, Tésíx-kun. Did you need more hours?" Roukoro-sensei asked, his voice possessing a low, rugged tone.

"Oh, actually, Mirocco-san ordered us to show up." Tésíx said before rubbing his chin, then giving a sigh. "I mean no disrespect, Roukoro-sensei, but I think you should have a serious talk with Mirocco-san about the way she treats us. I understand that she's the top student, but in my opinion, that should mean she should be held to a higher standard than the rest of us."

Roukoro-sensei narrowed his multi-colored eyes, clearly displeased with what he heard. His gaze shifted to Atroku, who was making the tatami sparkly clean with each stroke of his floor-brush. His eyes then shifted back to the two of you.

"I don't give out hours for free. Dust the pillars and I'll give the three of you proper hours. Atroku-kun will get more though, since he was here before you two." Roukoro-sensei said kindly while motioning to the pillars on either side of the room.

There were a lot of pillars in the dojo, all of them wooden, but most of them for show. They were a rich, stained brown, cleanly lacquered and most certainly elegant in appearance.

Tésíx gave a low bow once more.

"Your kindness is greatly appreciated, Roukoro-sensei." Tésíx said properly.

Roukoro-sensei gave a small chuckle.

"You're good at being a yes-man, Tésíx-kun. Don't ever become one." He said, amusement in his eyes.
