Faye slowly sat down, smoothing down her skirt before smiling up at him the looking at her father as Andre squeezed her side while she smiled happily. Bernard could see his daughters happiness and he smiled, knowing he had made the right decision. "Later today. After his afternoon mass." he said, sitting back. "That is the earliest he can be here. After that, we shall have an early dinner so you can be on your way. If you're anything like I was, you'll be wanting to be off as soon as you can."

"I just want your daughter to be happy and getting her free of this city will do that for her. I would have left last night if she would have fled with me with out being her husband. " He smiled and squeezed her side again as the food was laid out before them allowing them both to plate before he did out of respect. His hand never left her side threw out breakfast, almost as though he was scared to lose her if he let her go.

Bernard arched an eyebrow at him before glancing at Faye who blushed a little. "But I'm glad he hadn't. She'd been raised better. Been raised as a lady." he said gently but firmly. Faye slowly nodded before beginning to serve herself after her father started. When she was done, she passed food to Andre with a small smile. "Don't worry father. Though I was certainly tempted, I remembered my lessons with mother and nurse." she said softly. She placed one of her hands over Andre's as she began eating, picking at her food a bit before eating.

"Your daughter is a perfect lady and will increase the caliber of my home exponentially. " He chuckled softly and began smiling holding her side gently just glad to be able to touch her. He ate slowly not saying a word wanting to allow them to have a quiet breakfast together for what would be the last time for quite a while. He picked a bit at his food not wanting to finish a moment before she did not wanting to feel awkward about setting there quietly.

She blushed a little more before looking up at him with a fond smile before returning to her breakfast. She finished her breakfast rather quickly, having regained her appetite with a gusto and her father chuckled into his drink. Once she was done, she sat back and looked at the two men. Her pale grey eyes were sparkling brightly with her happiness. "Will nurse be coming with us father?" she asked suddenly and he shook his head. "No. Now that you are getting married, you are no longer in need of a chaperone and you are wise enough to know how to take care of yourself. Nurse shall stay here until she finds somewhere else to work."

Nathan listen into her statement wondering if that meant she wanted the woman to come with them. He pondered for a moment deciding that if when they got home she missed her nurse then he would send for her. He would do anything to keep his young bride happy and it made no difference to him if the nurse came to help take care of her. Once done he smiled and leaned back as well so pleased of late that had no mission to return to that he could just relax. His whole body seemed less heavy then it did the first time they had met.

Faye slowly nodded before looking up as nurse entered the room. "In the mean time, Nurse shall take you out for a new dress for today and a new traveling dress." Bernard said. "Besides, I wish to speak with Nathan for a bit." He smiled gently at her and then glanced at Andre. The young woman smiled slightly and nodded. "Yes father." she said before looking at Andre. "I'll see you later this afternoon."

He smiled and stood helping her up pulling her gently to his stomach and giving her a gently kiss before letting her leave. "What would you like to speak about Bernard? " He spoke softly moving to the door figuring out exactly what was going on he was a bit nervous. Not quite sure exactly what it was that her father could want to speak to him about.

She giggled softly as he pulled her to him and she softly kissed him back before drawing away and slipping out of the room with nurse. Several minutes later the front door was heard opening and closing. Once they were gone, Bernard slowly stood up and raised a hand when he heard the slight nervous tone in his voice. "There is nothing to worry about Andre." he said gently. "I actually wish to thank you. I may not look it, but I'm getting along in my years and I won't be around forever to be here for her. Now that you're marrying her, I know I'm leaving her in good hands and I know you can take care of her."

He smiled as he thanked him he smiled and placed his hand on the mans shoulder. "Your daughter will be completely safe for the rest of her life and she will never want for anything. " He spoke softly wrapping offering the man his hand taking a deep breath relaxing. "I promise that to you. "

Bernard smiled back and nodded. "I know she will." he said gently. "And knowing that, I'll be able to sleep well." He placed his hand into the young mans with a small smile and a nod. "She's all I have left of my beloved wife. I want her happy and safe."

"As long as you keep yourself safe i will be happy. Do not fear your family will be fine i would sooner die then let anything bad happen to her. " He smiled looking at her pressing his hands into the mans shoulder before turning and leaving him to the study so they could talk. He smiled setting down trying to relax closing his eyes lightly his nerves where killing him it was worse then any assassination he had ever done in his entire life.

With one last smile, Bernard turned and headed to his study to continue his work. He had tones of paperwork and letters to go over before he left. He left Andre to his thoughts to relax, knowing he would need it. After all, he had married once before and he knew how nervous the young man probably felt.

Later that afternoon, Faye arrived back home with Nurse, one of the servants going out to meet them and carry in the boxes that their purchases came in. Faye headed inside and stood near the steps as her things were carried inside and up the steps to her rooms.

Nathan sat in the door open leaning back in the chair taking in long slow deep breaths. He was not intending to move an inch until he needed to he had a great deal to think about. He was about to return home to his mother who he had not seen since his father and brother where murdered, with a wife whom she had never met. It was going to be a very awkward conversation she had sent him a few letters but he had never replied always blaming himself for his families situation. As the time grew closer he grew more nervous though his long slow breaths kept his heart beat down and masked his nerves.

After the women disappeared upstairs, the house became rather silent except for the sounds of the maids moving around here and there in the house. Mid-day meal was not called because of that evenings dinner being prepared. Sometime after 1 in the afternoon, an elderly man arrived at the house. He was the towns priest. When he arrived, Bernard went out to greet him.
Meanwhile, Faye was upstairs getting ready. She was just as nervous as Andre but she wasn't as great at hiding that as he was. She was currently pacing her bedroom while nurse followed behind her, working on lacing her dress.

Around the time the priest arrived Andre flagged down a maid and asked her to bring his new suit down here to the study knowing he could not go into her room to get it. He grumbled softly as he finally stood and removed as much as he could his over shirt and cloak. Moving slowly around the study until the maid returned. When she did he thanked her and gathered his suit getting dressed quickly smiling as he was finally ready. Transferring her wedding band into his pants and going out to find when exactly he was to be wed.

Bernard was standing out in the main hall with the priest, conversing about where the small ceremony was going to be held. He had changed as well. The older man was wearing a nicer suit then he usually wore. When Andre came out, they looked at him. "Which do you think would be better?" Bernard asked. "The small garden or would you prefer the library?"

"I think Faye would prefer the garden it just seems more.... her." He smiled as he walked up offering his hand to the priest one of the few times in his life he would allow a priest to control him. He smiled and masked his nerves as he spoke to Bernard and the Priest taking care of any issue that his opinion was needed on. He was now longing to see Faye he had not been able to see her sense breakfast.

The man smiled and nodded. "Good idea. She would like that." he said while the priest shook Andre's hand. "Father Jacob. This is Andre, Fayes fiance." he told the elderly man and Father Jacob nodded while shaking the young mans hand. "I was just telling Bernard it's about time his beautiful daughter married. I had married Bernard to his wife and now I have the honor of doing the same for his daughter. Now, shall we wait out in the gardens, I believe the young lady is ready." he said after seeing Nurse standing at the top of the steps.

"It is a pleasure to have the man who joined that happy couple joining me and Faye. " He smiled wondering just how old this man was since he had married them both. Nodding and helping the 2 older gentlemen out side holding the doors for them as his heart began to race. He kept his breath slow and calm trying to slow his heart not sure why he was so nervous. Once they where outside he took his place and smiled his hand finding the ring in his pocket fiddling with it nervously.

A couple of minutes later Faye appeared in the garden. She was dressed in a pretty dress. It was off the shoulder with sleeves of sheer white material and the rest of the dress was made of white and cream silks, a silver ribbon wrapping around her body in a crisscross pattern starting at the lowest point of her neck line and ending at her waist before tying at the back in a bow. Her hair was free to flow down her back and two small braids that were pulled back in order to keep her bangs from her face. Entwined in the braid was some Ivy leaves and a mix of some orange blossoms and white lilies. In her hand she had his ring clenched tightly. She approached him and smiled up at him, all of her nervousness just washing away.

He smiled his heart slowing as he stared at her his face curling into a large smile as she walked up to him. Taking her hands after her father handed them to him staring into her eyes. "You look fantastic!" He smiled his eyes never leaving hers threw out the entire ceremony. He was so focused on her that when it came time to give her the ring and say i do he nearly missed it. He was lost in her everything about her seemed to just enchant him from the moment they had met.

She giggled and blushed brightly before bowing her head slightly. "Thank you." she whispered to him. The entire time she pretty much ignored the priest as she stared up into Andre's eyes. When it came time to give the rings and say I do, she looked at the priest and softly spoke before slipping the ring onto his finger and then entwining their fingers as the priest said that Andre could kiss his bride. The words made her blush again and she looked at her new husbands expectantly, a small smile on her lips.

He smiled and leaned in pressing his lips into hers kissing her tenderly. His hands slipping their hands behind her for a moment before breaking the kiss quickly not wanting to seem lude. He then took her hand and turned to face the priest and her father standing next to her. Their rings sparkling in the afternoon light as where there smiles and eyes. "Thank you father and you as well sir. Please come to my home when you return from your trip I will be ready and waiting. " He smiled standing there not sure he should whisk her away yet or not.

Faye placed her hands on his chest as he leaned in and she tipped her head back a little as he kissed her, softly returning the kiss with a happy sigh before he broke the kiss and she turned to the priest and her father once more. The elderly man stepped forward to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Good luck Faye." he said softly. "You're a good young lady and it's been an honor watching you grow up into a beautiful woman." He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead before making his way into the house. Faye knew he was returning to the church. Bernard looked at them with a small smile and nodded at Andre's words. "I shall do that. Come, one last meal before you leave. I shall have your things readied and put on the carriage Faye." With that he turned and headed into the house, leaving them alone.
