Broken Apart (lady/krys)

TJ kept Lina tight in his arms. "Its gonna be fine, really. I've dealt with worse. Krys and Annie will help. We'll make this better." Her told her soothingly, cuuddlling her as he rubbed her back. Krystal nodded as she was held tightly in Chris's arms. "Yes. Its gonna be fine. We'll fix this. It could be much worse, and I've fixed it. We'll get through this." She told lina, smiling at her reassuringly. She must be thourally be freaking out, judging by her face.

Lina swallowed hard, shifting to press her face into th's chest, trembling ever so slihtly. Utterly shaken, and it wasn't just elaine that scared her. It was doug.even with reassurance that he wouldn't bother her,tj's twin scared her to death. Not that she'd say that to him,not ahen she knew tj was hoping they could still be brothers if doug got his head straightenrd out."seriously.considering everything else going on, tj isn't the big news this week. They sont hold onto it for long."annie said smiling a little.

TJ loving held her, rubbing her back. "Its okay, I'm not gonna let anyone take you away from me." He told her softly, kissing her head. It pained him to see her like this. Krystal didn't know how to fully comfort her either, aside from making margaritas, but she knew that lina is a recovering alcoholic. "How about I make some food and we watch a movie? I've got the new tom hiddlston flick. Tom gave me a copy last time he was here. I miss that guy." She said with a smile, already moving out of Chris's arms to go make some Romanian food, and also, so wicked desserts. She wanted lina to feel better, and she knew the best way was with Jersey famous pudding cake and some much deserved ice cream.

"You won't?"she muttered the trembling lessening the tighter he held on,slowly starting to calm as she leaned into him nodding a little."I would like that."she muttered still shaken and clinging to tj,but pulling him along with her towards the living room, looking amused as chris set up the movie, trying to relax as she curled up in tj's lap.

TJ smiled. "Of course not. I love you, Lina." He told her softly, holding her close and bringing her into the living room home theatre, and cuddling her close, enjoying having her near him. Krystal softly sang an old Celtic song, "nocturne" as she cooked, the smells of lamb and rolls and many other things wafting through the house. "Smells good" TJ commented, watching Chris set up the movie, smiling at lina and rubbing her back, giving her a soft kiss.

(This is the song: Nocturne)

"It does smell really good."lina muttered nearly jumping out of her skin when her phone went off, pausing before picking it up and listening, shoulders slouching and pressing closer to the man she was half laying on.barely getting a word in edge wise before she hung up." ...your mother fired me."she muttered not about to tell him the worst, knowing he'd be pissed.

TJ sighed. "Of course she did. Krys and I will talk to her." He said softly, rubbing her back. Trying to soothe her. He knew it could have been much worse. At least they could freely be together now. "I bet if Doug feels badly enough, we could get him to tell her the truth." Krystal commented as she brought in all the food on two massive trays, setting it on the table in fromnt of them. TJ looked contemplative. "Hmm, maybe. At least maybe a half truth. That he accidentally gave her scotch instead of soda or something." He commented, cuddling into Lina and kissing her head

"...okay."Lina said still looking upset and confused before frowning, looking up at krys."...do you think he would?"She said not trusting doug's change of heart as she started to eat, sighing quietly as she snuggled against tj, watching the movie.

Krystal nodded. "I do. I can tell when a person is lying, and he wasn't." She said, going on to explain Doug's point of view to everyone. TJ cuddled lina, nodding his head. That explained a whole lot. He took a bite of a roll as she spoke, simplly nodding his head while he listened. When she finished, she looked to TJ and lina. "I don't trust him either, but I do know how bad he feels. I bet we can get him to do that, but only if TJ asks him. If you want, I can be right there, but you have to ask him. Its the only way." She said, and TJ nodded. That wouldn't be so bad for him, he could manage that. He Kew at least with Krystal there, Doug wouldn't try anything. He was to afraid of her.

Lina frowned at that, pressing her face into Tj's chest, simply snuggling against him as she ate. "...I'll go with you to."Lina muttered because while she didn't really want to see doug, she didn't want to leave tj alone with him either. "Call him. He probably wont answer for anyone else, Teej."Lina muttered looking up at her boyfriend

TJ got out his cellphone, calling his brother's house, waiting for the man to pick up, knowing full well that he was the only one in the house at the moment. He squeesed Lina's hand as he did so, listening to the dull ring of the phone, waiting. He sort of half wished that his brother didn't pick up, but it was inevitable once he saw the caller ID.

"You know you don't have to talk to him you know."Lina muttered watching TJ's face for a moment before wincing as she heard the phone stop ringing. "Hello?"Doug answered, the words sounding just a bit slurred, just a bit tired and strung out.

TJ smiled. "He's not so bad. Its just he's a bit abrasive at times." He said, as Krystal nodded, popping a cookie into her mouth. When Doug picked up, TJ laughed though there was concern for his twin in his tone. "You strung out and me sober? Well, that's a change for sure." TJ commented, before he frowned slightly. "Krys and I are gonna come bring you to her place. I wanna talk to you." He soothed, going through all the motions you had to with one who was strung out. It was a good thing that Doug's house was in a remote area, and no one quite knew where it was.

"...What do you want, Teej?"Doug said the words slowly, carefully, and it was obvious he was high enough that it was taking alot for him to sound as together as he did. "...You don't want me there, I can't, Tommy."Doug said, reverting to a nickname he hadn't used since long before they'd been teenagers, long before everything had fallen apart, while he didn't get high often, Doug always reverted to acting younger, less put together then he was when he was high. "Come on. Keep talking to him. I'll drive."Annie said quietly, even if she hadn't heard him, she knew that tone of TJ's voice, and she needed to know how her fiancee was, needing to take care of him. even if she wasn't sure their relationship, they'd known each other to long for her to leave him completely alone.

TJ spoke softly. "I do want you here, dougie. Really." He told his twin as he nodded at Annie and got into the car, followed by Krys. He could tell how broken his brother was feeling, and it scared the hell out of him. While he could be a loose cannon when he was strung out, Doug was more likely to hurt himself. That's what he used to do when they were kids. Hurt himself for attention, and TJ knew just how much doug was capable of. He kept on talking to him the whole way to the house, hanging up when they got there. "We're her, dougie. Please, come out." TJ said just as softly, and Krystal gave him a worried look. she had no idea what was about to happen.

"No.No one does. I'm sorry Teej...I didn't...no...."Doug whimpered quietly simply letting his brother talk. There was quiet on the other side of the door, "No.Don't wanna."Doug muttered from the other side of the door, and you could hear him moving around, the slight rustle of sheets, springs moving. "he's in the bedroom. We'll startle him probably but..."Annie looked worried as she pulled out her keys and let them in, looking shaken as she saw the mess that was their house, it looked like Doug had torn through the house. and she just hoped he had restrained the self inflicting harm to simply his stuff, instead of himself. Moving into the bedroom, the woman paled a little at the sight of the pale man laying in the bed, swallowing hard as she moved over, seeing his upper arms over the edge of the blanket, where the blood had soaked into it. "Hey dougie, I thought you said you weren't going to hurt yourself." "Didn't mean to.. broke the window..."Doug said rolling his eyes up, blearily focusing on them.

Krystal made a face. "You promised dougie." She said, already going to get the first aid kit to clean him up, looking worried. She hated his guts sometimes, that was true, but today, she knew the needed to get him to hospital. "Annie, I'm gonna bandage him up, but by the looks of these sheets he's gonna have to have a transfusion." She said and TJ looked hurried, feeling guilty that he had drove his only brother to this. "Oh dougie.." TJ soothed softly, kissing the mans head. He was so worried about him, and Krystal's mention of a transfusion only made it worse. Krystal smiled a little at TJ an Annie, sensing how they were feeling. "He'll be fine." she soothed, squeezing their hands after she was finished working on all his wounds.

"Didn't mean to...was just breaking things..."He muttered blinking slowly, frowning as he tried to focus, but suffering enough blood loss that he wasn't focusing that great. "He is. The mirror's a mess. He cut himself fairly badly."Annie said as she moved back into the bedroom from the bathroom, handing the first aid kit over, holding it out towards krys."Bandage him up, and we'll get him out of here."She said before looking at TJ."Call Lina. She can meet us at the hospital."Seh said worried about him as well as doug.

Krystal nodded, bandaging him up as best she could, making a point to clean all his wounds before doing so. "You've lost a lot of blood dougie. Wrecked your arteries. You've gotta go to the hospital." She told him in a soothing voice as she finished the bandaging, kissing his head as she gently got him out of bed. Luckily he was wearing some pants so she just stuck a shirt on him and carried him out to the car. TJ nodded at Annie, calling her immediately. "Lina, Doug smashed a mirror and damaged his arteries. We're taking him to the hospital." He told her in a smooth a voice as he could manage, worried about his brother.

"oh...okay. I'll go."Doug muttered quite willing to do whatever, blinking up at tj slowly."I'm sorry Teej...I didn't..."He muttered leaning into his twin, sighing softly, letting the other get him out to the car. "What?I-Okay. I'll meet you there. TJ, he'll be fine. I'll be right there."Lina said reassuring the man even as her and chris rushed to get out the door.

When they got there, Lina winced as they wheeled doug in, looking anxious. she hadn't wanted to, but she needed to."I-I called your mother, she checked him in under the name you always used...and there's a private room waiting for him."Lina said moving closer to tj as they wheeled doug into the room, looking up at him."TJ?"

TJ shushed him. "Its alright. Theses things happen. Its a bit like karma I suppose. I mean, you know how many times you've done this for me." He said, sitting in the back of the car with him, waiting for Krystal and Annie. Krystal appeared a few minutes later, looking freaked out. Even though she was a trained nurse, having to work on one of her oldest friends like that was nerve wracking. "Annie, I can drive if you wanna sit in back with TJ and dougie." Krystal said soothingly, looking to her friend. TJ smiled a little. "Thanks lina. This means a lot. I love you. Meet you there" he said through the phone, looking woo tried as he cuddled his twin close.

TJ nodded. "That was smart. I appreciate you making the call. I'm not sure I could deal with calling her right now." He said matter of factly, looking blank. He couldn't deal with his emotions right now. It hurt to much. He wanted to get high and just forget about it, but he knew he couldn't . If he did, he'd only be right next to his brother, having had an accidental overdose again. TJ squeesed Lina's hand. "I'm okay.. I'm dealing." He said, trying to stay calm. Luckily Krystal had brought him some cokeacola to help his nerves.

"I guess I have..."Doug muttered sighing softly. "I'll do that."Annie said looking just as shaken as they got into the car, settling in next to TJ and dougie, gently stroking doug's hair as they drove. "Love you to. It'll be okay, Teej."Lina muttered as she hung up.

"I figured you wouldn't want to.She's...she's going to be over soon though."Lina warned gently leaning into him, looking so worried for him him, squeezing his hand back as they all settled into the small gathering side of doug's room, watching him before looking up at TJ again, swallowing hard as she watched him sip the coke. "You want something?Besides that?"she said looking worried for him.

Once everyone was situated, Krystal put on her seatbelt and drove off, landing at the hospital in record time. She knew just how bad Doug could bleed if he wasn't taken care of, particularly with blood thinners in his body.

TJ sighed. "I figured as much. Just keep cuddling me. I need it." He said, sipping his coke as he leaned into her, sighing a bit. "I do, but I'm avoiding it like the plague. If I were to get high now, I might overdose because of the stress. He needs me, and so do you. I can't let my own personal needs cloud me." He said, pulling her close to him, needing the contact. Needing to know he wasn't alone, otherwise he'd bolt right back to his dealer.

Lina nodded as she shifted in her seat, wrapping a arm around his waist as she pulled him down next to her, sighing quietly as she held onto him. “I’m so proud of you.”She muttered having been afraid he’d bolt as soon as they were out of the car. Glad that he had stuck with it, closing her eyes as she leaned into him,”I have you Teej.I’ll hold onto you.”she muttered stroking his back.

TJ leaned into Lina's touch, relaxing as she stroked his back. "Thank you lina, for everything. You've given me a reason to keep going." He told her softly, resting his head on her shoulder. Right now he could care less about his mother finding out about him being bisexual. All he cared about right now was staying in Lina's arms, making sure his brother was okay. Currently the doctors were repairing his arteries. Once that was done that would start the transfusions. Krystal said he'd need at least 4. The woman in question was curled up with her boyfriend, watching TJ. She knew he must be feeling so helpless right now. "You're doing great Teej. Everything will be fine." She reassured, smiling at him, who just nodded before falling asleep, to mentally tired to deal.
