Dragons Fangs and Tiger Claws {1x1 with DarkMudkip}

"If you're with the Thieves Guild, I'll throw you in jail. " He stated.

Akihime moved out shyly, walking slowly so she wouldn't get too far ahead of Yukimura

"Thieves Guild?" Megohime laughed. "No, no, nothing of the sort. I'm a traveler." She said, fuchsia colored eyes trained on Masamune. "Just passing through Riften for a couple of days."

"So you work under Mitsunari-sama?" Yukimura asked, engaging in some small talk.

Masamune scowled but took a seat. He didn't have any valuables on him anyway. "From where?"

"Ah, yes...! Well, I protect my father, mostly...he's very frail." Akihime answered

"My parents were drifters as well, so I was born in Hammerfell." She said, taking a bite of sweet role.

"Ah, how is Yoshitsugu-sama?" Yukimura asked as they exited the castle.

"And where do you come from Jarl?" She asked, turning her head to look at him.

"You'll have to give him my best wishes when you return." He stated.

Megohime made a noise. "Care for a drink?" She offered. "Of course, unless you're too good for ale." She said in a challenging tone, maybe she had a shot at some real money.

Yukimura fell silent, feeling awkward for not having much to say. He never really did any sort of this stuff, so he never put much thought into what he might have to say.

"I told you I don't drink with harlots." He stated, motioning to Keeraca for a drink

Akihime played with her hair nervously before her gaze landed on the Gildergreen, "This poor tree..."

"And I told you I wasn't a harlot." She said, drinking her ale. "Or perhaps you're hoping I am?"

"Oh, the Gildergreen?" Yukimura looked to the slumbering tree. "Yes.. It hasn't made any flowers in months now.."

"Well, lucky for you, I'm not a Harlot, so you don't have to worry." She said, taking a bite of bread. She could see he wasn't completely disinterested, which was good, but she still had to get him drunk. "So what's your name, Jarl?"

"Some people think that they tree is dying, others say it is merely slumbering.." He shook his head. "I'm not sure."

"Tsukihime." She replied, drinking more ale. "It's nice to meet you, even though you called me a Harlot twice." She said.

Yukimura shook his head. "That's not something I would know... Perhaps the court wizard would know.."

"I call them how I see them." He replied

"Well, this tree is for Kynoreth, is it not? Maybe the Temple will know of a way..." She suggested

Megohime snorted. "Looks can be deciving." She muttered, eyes flashing as she threw him a glare.

"Hai." Yukimura nodded and led her to the Temple of Kynareth. "Good afternoon." He greeted the Priestesses, bowing his head.

Megohime drummed her fingers on the wooden table. "You ever been out-drunken before?"

"I was wondering if you knew the history of the Gildergreen?" He asked, motioning with his head to the door.

"Once." He answered, "Never again."

" The Gildergreen, planted during the early days of the settlement, was grown from a cutting taken from the ancient Eldergleam, one of the oldest living things in Tamriel, located in a cave in Eastmarch. Even its name is an echo of the mother tree. Worshippers of Kynareth sense something holy in it, and since then many pilgrims have traveled to Whiterun to hear the goddess's wind blow through its branches." She answered. Akihime looked amazed, "By the Nine..."

"Don't tell me that you're really a milk drinker?" She said, trying to egg him on. Man, if only she had one chance to slip her special little potion into his mead.

"But why is the tree dying?" Yukimura asked, frowning softly.

Masamune glared, "Excuse you?"

"We don't know, that's the thing...as soon as it was planted, it began to wilt..." She answered. "Maybe if we reconnected it to the Eldergleam, it would revive." Akihime suggested

Megohime smirked and sipped some of her ale. "You heard me. I think your a milk drinking light-weight." She said. "How many drinks can you have before you're done? Two?"

"It wouldn't be possible..." Yukimura shook his head. "Perhaps... Perhaps if we bring sap from the mother tree, it'll bring it back?"

"Only light weighted women like you sip their ale the entire time." He growled

"Mayhaps that would work...you'll need a special blade, though...the Nettleblade." "You don't really plan on having us use such a cursed thing...!" Akihime gasped

"Alright." Megohime picked up her ale and started to down the entire bottle, not stopping until it was completely empty. "Your turn, milk drinker."

"Will it help the tree?" Yukimura asked, not seeming detoured by the cursed blade.

Masamune downed his drink easily, glaring at her with his good eye

Akihime looked to Yukimura in shock and the priestess nodded, "It would extract the sap needed to revive the Gildergreen, yes." She answered
