David shook his head at Aaron's antics. "Going on cases is gonna be a real adventure now." He spoke as he and Jason reached the elevator. He pushed the button to call the elevator.
 
David grins and presses the needed button that would take them up. Once the doors opened, he stood to the side for a moment in case Aaron wanted to rush ahead
 
Serenity opened the door, obviously snacking on a cracker, between sips of ginger ale. She smiled at seeing Aaron. "Is that your weapon or are you just happy to see me?" She teased.

David cleared his throat after hearing Sere and chuckled as the blonde blushed in embarrassment.
 
Serenity finished her cracker and sipped her pop before bowing her head to Jason. "Hello again to you too King Jason." She had lowered her voice slightly when she addressed him. "Please come in. I'll just get Ami." She stepped back and turned towards the kitchen.

"Doctor Mizuno! Come here!" Serenity called out.

"I'm coming." Ami stepped into the living area, doctors bag and all. When she saw Jason, she dropped her bag in shock. "Daddy...?"
 
Serenity smiled. "It's good to see you too, sir." She snuggled to Aaron.

Ami ran right over to Jason, crying with happiness.

Serenity snorted fondly at Jason's nickname for Ami. "More like ice queen, nowadays. "
 
Serenity blushed when Aaron kissed her before she looked back at Jason. "I meant it as a compliment sir. She's gone from being just our strategist to fashioning blades of the sharpest ice, small daggers and large swords with just a thought. I'm proud to have her standing by my side in battle.' She turned her gaze to Ami with a very proud smile on her face.

Ami blushed under the praise before looking back up to Jason. "I missed you too. So much."
 
Serenity watched the two reunited mercurians with a smile before glancing to David and nodding encouragingly.

David cleared his throat as he walked over to Ami and Jason. "May I borrow her for a brief moment, old friend?"
 
David nervously took Ami's hands and gently guided her to the center of the room. "Ami...my ice princess." He looked into her eyes with a smile. "You're my light in this dark world. A reason to smile and to want to actually be home. Now that you're in my life so closely, I'd be a fool to give up a potential chance to keep you." He let go of her hands, and got down on one knee in front of her, pulling out a ring that had her birthstone surrounded by diamond snowflakes. "Ami Mizuno, would you do this old man the honor of being my wife?"

Ami had silently listened with a loving smile, but when he got down on his knee, she started crying anew. "Yes of course!" She held her hand steady so he could slide the ring on her finger before pulling him up and kissing him
 
"Daddy!" Ami whined as she hid her face against David.

David only chuckled and held Ami close. "Let's go share the news with Krys and Spence."

"Congratulations you two." Serenity grinned before covering her mouth just as she yawned.
 
David smirked as he heard Aaron. "Yeah sure Hotch. Relax." He chuckled. "With the way you practically ran from the car once we parked, I doubt there will be much relaxing."

Ami giggled. "Let's go." She hurried David and Jason out to go visit Krys and Spence.
 
Serenity watched them leave before giggling as she looked to Aaron. "So, Lightning, missed me that much that you ran?" She teased. "You sure know how to make a girl feel special."

Ami chuckled as she eventually stopped outside Krys and Spencer's place and knocked on the door.
