Derek face palmed a little. "She and Reid got kidnapped once, and Reid tried to protect here, probably as a side affect from being with Krys so long, and got shot in the arm. If we hadn't of found them, he would have bled to death. He was still anemic from the time he got kidnapped by an unsub and got hooked on drugs." he explained, cowering slightly. He may not be super fond of his boss, but he just put her in for a world of hurt telling Ami this, ans she would surely tell Krystal.

Aaron laughed. "you've got that right!" he agreed, smiling at the mental image it gave.

Hotaru smiled. That sounds wonderful! I'll draw amara-papa and michelle-mama!" she said excitedly, getting some drawing supplies.
 
"Oh, so that's what happened huh?" Ami gave off a smirk that could be considered quite dark from the innocent brainiac. "She better hope Sere gets to her first over me and Krys. Oh the fun with bubbles."

Serena giggled. "Oh if they have a boy, he'll be just like Derek while being a Momma's boy at the same time."

Rini nodded. "And I'll draw Momma and Daddy." She too started getting supplies.
 
Derek nodded. "Just don't shoot the messenger, okay Ami-chan?" he asked, looking slightly scared.

Aaron nodded. "for sure. But I'm thinking its twins." he said, looking at her with a smile. He was getting the hang of his psycometry again.

Hotaru smiled. "i bet they'll love this. once I draw my mama and papa, i'm gonna draw auntie Krys!" she said happily, smiling widely.
 
Ami chuckled. "Why would I shoot you? You've done nothing wrong. Though honestly I might just let Haruka deal with you if you hurt Penelope."

Serena chuckled. "Because Krys and I are both carrying twins?" She teased.

Rini nodded. "Don't forget Uncle Spencer."
 
Derek shuddered. "That, my friend, would never happen. I love her to much. Also, haruka fricken scares me." He said, a weak laugh escaping his lips as he pulled Penelope closer.

"Partly. Also, my psycometry powers are becomimg stronger." He said with a smile, kissing her head, happy to be with her.

Hotaru giggled. "Of course not!" She said, smiling widely.
 
Ami laughed. "Haruka's just one and would just find her way to be first in line to get at you. There would then be me and Spence, Michiru, and all the other senshi. Penny's an honorary senshi in our books."

Penelope just burst into giggles and kissed him back. Though she was in shock at hearing Ami's words.

Serenity smiled. "That's great Aaron." She kissed him back. So glad that she wouldn't have to worry about him going off on a case for now.

Rini smiled and continued her drawing. "Hotaru? We'll always be best friends, right?"
 
Derek smiled. "Well, it sure is a good thing I don't intend on hurting her isn't it? Especially if I have to go up against all of you, plus Krys. You'd murder me, but good." He said, shuddering as he laughed quietly.

Aaron smiled at her. "Yes, it is. Its nice to have my power back. I spent so many years thinking that magic wasn't real.. but now? Now I believe anything is possible, just like when I was a child." He said, cuddling close to her before kissing her head. "I love you, bunnykins" he told her softly, cuddling her.

Hotaru smiled lightly. 'of course we will rini! you more like my sister than my best friend1' hotaru said happily, drawing.
 
Ami just snickered to herself after watching Derek shudder as she walked away.

"Dark chocolate, it's more like you would be murdered in so many different ways and revived that we could go through an entire year and they still wouldn't be done with you." Penelope explained while holding him close.

Serenity smiled. "I love you too Lightning. Glad you believe in magic again. You were looking way too serious."

Rini beamed excitedly. "Yay! You're like my sister too."
 
Derek shuddered before laughing a little. "Yeah, you're right. It would be bad." He agreed, smiling at her a little as he kissed her head.

Aaron smiled. "Me too, bunny. I needed some light and love back in my life. My job isn't exactly an upper." He joked a little, but it was true for the most part. Though he didn't regret at all doing what he did for a living. If he didn't, he never would have met his true love again.

Hotaru smiled. "I'm glad." She said simply, happily drawing.
 
Penelope giggled. "I really do think that maybe our subconscious knew all along that we were to be together again. All those years of flirty banter."

Serenity chuckled a little. "Well least now you have something to look forward to after a case again." She winked.

Rini smiled and continued working on her drawing.
 
Derek smiled. "That is probably true, penny." He agreed, giving her a light kiss.

Aaron grinned a little. "Yes, you're right." He said, smiling.

Hotaru finished her drawing and smiled, going on to draw Krystal and Spencer.
 
Penelope kissed Derek back with a smile. "Since everything here is alright, let's go on back to our penthouse. I'm honestly beat."

Serenity smiled and kissed his cheek before snuggling to him. "Lightning, can you promise me something?"

Finished with her drawing of her parents, Rini started another one of Derek and Penelope
 
Derek smiled and kissed her head. "As you wish my lady" he said, winking before disappearing with her to their penthouse.

Aaron smiled lightly, kissing the top of her head. "What is it, moon bunny?" He asked, looking curious.

Hotaru drew the couple with a smile, hoping to someday have a love like theirs.
 
Penelope giggled as Derek popped them away to their penthouse before letting out a small yawn.

"Well, Lightning, it's two things really?" She bit her lip briefly. "One is that you'll always have faith in me during a battle. Even when some decisions I make seem more on the stupid side. And two, that when you're on a case, you'll do everything you can to come home safe and sound. I know both things seem kinda silly to ask for but it would make me feel better." She bit her lip nervously again
 
Derek set herbon the bed, giving her a kiss befor climbibg in himself, cuddling close as he magically changed them into pajamas.

Aaron smiled and held his lover close. "I will certainly try for each, but from what i've seen of you in battle, i shant need to worry about not trusting you." He said truthfully, giving her a light kiss. He couldn't imagine life without her.
 
Penelope cuddled close after setting her glasses aside. "Night Dark Chocolate." She murmured as she fell asleep.

"Thank you. It really does mean a lot. And believe me, I've made some very stupid decisions in battle. You've just seen my easier battles." She giggled before snuggling close.
 
Derek kissed her head and pulled her close. "Goodnight my shiny penny. Sweet dreams." He whispered, kissing her softly before falling asleep himself.

Aaron chuckled heartily. "I'm sure it wasn't as bad as all that" He said, pulling her close as they lie in bed.
 
Penelope snuggled in closer in her sleep.

"Wish I could say they weren't." She sighed. "Just, when you get a chance, go talk with your brother. Ask him about Fiore." She let out another yawn with a smile.
 
Derek smiled in his sleep and cuddled close.

Aaron nodded. "Fiore huh? sounds like someone penguin would date." he said with a chuckle though he nodded. He would do that tomorrow. Lita had told him where Darien's apartment was.
 
Serena chuckled. "I don't know. I kinda had the feeling he was quite fond of your brother." She yawned again before softly kissing his cheek. "Good night Lightning." Her eyes closed and she was soon asleep.
 
Aaron chuckled. "Maybe so. I am not sure, having not met this Fiore. As for Krystal and this guy, she loves Spencer to much to hurt him like that." he admitted, kissing her head as she fell asleep "goodnight, my sweet moon bunny."
 
The next morning, Serena was up early. She'd managed to slip from Aaron's embrace, slipped on a pink nightgown, and had gone right to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. She had of course gotten secret lessons from Lita and was much better at cooking now than she had been in her teens. As much as she enjoyed Aaron's cooking, it was her turn to cook now. She had a spread of pancakes, sausage, eggs and toast. With coffee brewing for her and Aaron and fresh squeezed orange juice for Rini and Hotaru.
 
Aaron awoke to the smell of pancakes, egg, sausageand toast. He smiled a little, coming out in a pair of lounge pants with blue lightning on them and a black tshirt. He kissed her. "Morning sere." He said sleepily, smiling appreciatively at the coffee, hoping it was done. The man was notbawake until he'd had coffee.
 
Serena smiled and kissed him back. "Morning Lightning." She glanced to the coffee pot and was glad to see it was done. She pulled down two mugs. "Why don't you fix up our cups of coffee while I go wake Hotaru and Rini? There's different flavored creamers in the fridge." She then headed to Rini's room to wake the two girls. She gently knocked on the door. "Rini? Hotaru? Time to get up. Breakfast is ready."

Rini's voice sleepily came through the door. "Five more minutes Momma...."
 
Aaron smiled a little. "Alright sere. What flavor would you like?" He asked, giving her a light kiss. He was awake enough to make coffee.

Hotaru giggled. "Alright auntie sere" she said, coming out in her pajamas. "Rini! Pancakes!"
