Returning Home (UK_Guy_RP & Loneiysong)

He sees the wolf mark his territory and smiles noddin his understanding as he steps closer to shake the mans's mhand."thank you for the welcome and the lift here, it is good to be amongst friends. Hamish, have you seen anyone about or your house being watched, you might not be aware but your mate stared down two wolves earlier and i suspect that they might come back more mob handed next time."

The smell of the food is so very tempting, he was unable to even try and digest the food on the plane and as such he was feeling partly hungry. the warmth of the house also beckoned, it was a home a place of stability and certainly love. following them into the house, he looked out to the night wondering how close he was to Elena and and also who else was out there, the need to recover and be ready was the correct one but it irked him that every moments delay was one that let the other suitors and combatants gain a further stronghold.

"I chased them off last night." He nodded. "It's also why the alpha isn't here right now and I insisted that Margaret take the gun. She hates to carry it, mourns for days when we go out on a hunt." He smiled and then stepped to the side. "I made spaghetti and meatballs because it is a warming food and will help to rest we do have a long road ahead of us." Hammish shook Nicholas' hand and then turned. He smiled and guided both Margaret and him inside. He smiled at Margaret. "Go finish up dinner and I will show Nicholas to the room he will have." Margaret gave him a salute and turned and as he did he slapped her ass and she squealed turning and grinning a wide wicked smile. "You're gonna pay for that old man."

Hammish laughed as he began to walk down the hall and soon stopped at a room and opened it. Inside it was dark with thick blinds, which were down, and smelled of forest and pine decorated in dark green. "This will be your room, do you want to out your things away and clean up before dinner?" He smiled.

"yes thank you i will change and get freshened up..." he smiles and looks at Hamish, he knows it must be strange to have another wolf in the ouhouse. he never stays long in one place and has no real home just an apartment he beds in while in London, but seeing how that couple are together makes him wonder what it would be like. He also knows that as a lone alpha with a mandate from the enclave of clans, he must seem dangerous and strange after all he has brought trouble to this home already.

"thank you again for your welcome and the help, it is few wolves who would help me now. you have something special here..." he nods as he leaves and then unpacks taking out the book and placing on the side.. "well? are you able to show yourslf?" he asks partly amused and then takes his wash kit to the bathroom looking got shower and change before he eats the delicious food that wafts through the door.

"It is sad but true, but you have been made aware to us how important you are to the goddess. We are one of the oldest packs, we have a legacy to uphold." He smiled and shrugged. "Besides, Margaret has been made aware of how important Elena is to you, and every good male wolf needs a strong woman." He smiled with a knowing smile. "Speaking of which, excuse me." He turned and walked out. The book however didn't do anything.

Hammish and Margaret are heard giggling as they are probably saying hello to each other proper. By the time that Nicholas came out, Margaret was covered in a heavy blush and Hammish grinning. The scent of both covering each other and the smell of quick animalistic sex filling the air between them. Margaret smiled and looked up seeing Nicholas find his way to the table. "Great, sit down. We were talking about what and how we were go to the temple of the moon goddess." She said as Hammish made her plate and sat it down in front of her and then make Nicholas' plate. Margaret smiled. "We will get their quicker and easier if we travel in wolf form, also if anyone were to try to stop us, it would be easier to stop them. However, we would have a hell of a time carrying weapons"

The food was good, basic, but tasty and lots of it, to anyone who had watched they would marvel at the huge portion sizes that were served, wolves need their strength and in particular tonight as the journey would be tough and the fight at the end dangerous. pushing another meatball whole into his mouth he chewed as he watched the couple opposite, it was pleasant to be in a normal home, he visited so few. Being an enforcer and ambassador, he rarely visited for solely social reasons and that always created tension.

Pausing to wipe his lips for moment, "weapons we have in ourselves, I have an amulet I can wear over my neck without issue but there is one other thing.., a book we need to carry. I am not sure how that will come with us." he frowned slightly, he had assumed that Tome would show herself by now but perhaps she was incapable or still sulking from being dumped in the case with his washing. whatever the reason, she had still not shown herself despite them being amongst allies .

"A book." Margaret thought. "You mean your mates spellbook! Is there any particular reason you need it?" She asked as she ate. She watched him with a soft frown. "Your mates spellbook got you here to us, if she is needed anymore by us, I am sure she can find a way." Hammish said refilling Margaret's soda to which she repaid him by a soft kiss on the cheek.

"Hammish is correct, she will be a lot more safe here." She nodded and looked at him.

Nicholas chewed his food and thought, she was correct if the book was needed by its owner it would find a way to get to her hands and as such he should not worry about it. "your right, i'll carry the amulet and leave everything else here," he looked down at his plate the food completely eaten and he smiles with a chuckle."Hamish, my compliments that was delicious...2

he feels bone tired and he wonders what the time is here, making a quick mental calculation, he has not slept for 24hours.. "Margaret, what time are you planning to leave? I think i need to sleep off this large meal" he stands and makes his apologies walking back to his room and pulling off his clothes as he lies on the bed... sleep taking him quickly.

Hammish laughed and shook his head. "No worries, Margaret planned it that way. She said you would need a big meal and then sleep. We will go when you are ready. Just come back here and make yourself a snack, we will hear you." He smiled and motioned him off as he stood and began to clean up.

A shimmering shadow watched him from the shadows as he slept. It slowly moved close to the bed and looked down at him. A shimmering like arm reached out to touch him. Being very slow and deliberate as if it were a child and he were a sleeping beast.

his dreams were mixed and troublesome, trying to move through impossible tunnels and climb mountains, feeling a sense of loss and foreboding as he did. more than once he felt like he had awoken but then the room turned strange and he knew he was dreaming. he searched high and wide, using all his senses but could not find her, his love.

it was stil dark when he awoke, he lay there, his sheets knotted about his body, feeling like he had just missed something. his eyes slowly adjusted to the room, seeing shapes and forms in the darkness, he didnt think he was alone..."hello?" he asked quietly, wondering if Tome had awoken...

The shimmering stayed there watching him toss and turn. Reaching out she touched his forehead just as he jolted awake. The apparition jumped back and flitted to the corner. Seeing he was awake, the shimmering moved forward and reached out its hand. He felt a kind of ease and peace. That maybe the journey was possible.

"Who are you?" Came the disembodied voice. It was the voice of his lost Elena speaking through magic that was potent and was only the magic a goddess possessed. The shimmering pulled her hand back to its body that kept shifting and moving like an ocean.

"I am Nicholas Holden.." he looked at the form, it was almost invisible but he could see a shape, the voice was airy and faint but he knew it, it was familiar to him. "I am your lover and father...Elena.." he hoped she might recall, the sight of her there in spirit filled him with hope that his mission was possible and she might know him.

he sat up in the bed, speaking quietly" i am coming to you with your things and the gift from the previous goddess..I am getting close, be strong for me..2 he tried to reach out his finger tips to her, to sense here there in the room.

She slowly formed in front of him but her eyes were confused. She did not remember him. As he reached out to her she stepped back. But her eyes held fear. "I am afraid...I do not want to be here." She shivered and wrapped her arms around herself and looked out the window. "I do not feel safe..." She began to flicker and her form was lost but the shimmering were still there.

"I dream about you though. I know you yet I do not." With that she disappeared leaving a sense of positivity and good behind.

he rises immediately, the sense of purpose galvanized within him. he pulls in the dirty and steps out to the kitchen, porting some water he drinks out slowly, the buzz in his head receding. he hears steps behind him abd turns. "she's been here, she needs me, it's time to go.."

he looks at couple, ready to shift, the glass placed on the table. pacing the amulet about his neck..dropping to his hands and knees. "are we ready?"

Hammish and Margaret both hear him and rise and walk and look at him. They both nodded and trned and walked to go change outside. They opened the back door and stepped into the backyard that looked into a deep forest. They kissed each other and then moved to their own corners and shifted. Hammish was a big timber wolf and Margaret was a short dark wolf and she shook out her fur and turned back looking and waiting for Nicholas.

He shifts to a large wolf, dark gray and flashed with black, his eyes glowing and ready, he stretches his legs and enjoys the feeling of being in form again., it has been long since he has been wolf and true animal form, there are so few places h can be as wild as he wishes.

The eyes scan the horizon, taking in the night landscape and feeling his senses expand and give him true insight into nature. He nods sharply indicating that they should proceed, and he follows them as they lop off to the hills, his legs stretching as he builds into a run, moving with them as a pack, the elation of the wind on his face and fur as they run so fast. he follows the young female, knowing she will lead as he and Hamish keep their eyes open for foes.

They both nodded their understanding and soon they were off.

Margaret was extremely fast. She began to run quickly. Her muscles and limbs moved seamlessly as if she were a dancer. She knew the area very well and ran through places that would give them the advantage of they absolutely had to fight. She continued to run looking out for danger herself. Her ears constantly back, and listening but all she could hear was the heart beat of the forest around her.

he ran , he ran and stretched before himself, in another moment running with a pack would be a wonder and a joy, speaking to his soul the only way it can in pure animal. he moves over rock, and stone, grass and fern, water and mud, it felt good. he knew when he ran like this with wolves and the air in his face, he could lose himself, there was a joke amongst them, if you ran ther perfect way and with the right wolves, you would be one forever... it was called finding your true wolf. he had heard stories of werewolves who lead packs and forgotten their human form, been so seduced by the simplicity of the life and the hard raw nature, they had never shifted back. he knew he would never lose his identity bit he could see that appeal.

the woods were old, so very very old, packs had lived here for centuries as had other creatures, he could feel eyes upon him, the spirit folk and the fey were hiding from them the ferocity of the wolf was terrifying but they hid and watched amused by the animal side and fascinated by the human.

he sniffed the air, something had changed, it was woods bit not owned by the humans, this place was different and he glanced to the others to assess if this was the destination or they had stumbled into something else.

They kept on running. Margaret and Hammish communicating through short barks and growls. Soon they came to a line in the forest. The trees were decorated by ribbons and candles. This was the goddess' territory and the land was sacred. As they ran, they would come across several wolf tracks. This land was heavily traveled by wolves recently.

Margaret continued forward faster. Not sure what they would find when they got there but she was sure that it wouldn't be a pleasant site. Their was a great uneasiness building and Margaret could feel it.

Back where Elena was still comatose and wasting away alphas had begun to fight each other both inside and out. Many of the moon worshipped a had gotten hurt and the last supreme alpha was trying desperately to keep the peace. But until the next supreme alpha showed up, it would only get worse. It had gotten to where he found it necessary to lock Elena in her room until the unrest passed.

THey slowed, the place was cared but shed with blood, just like the tea gardens where they had met, this place was hallowed earth and hidden from view of humans. he paused, smelling blood and fear, loathing and hatred in the air, it had become tainted with too many ambitions and desires. he glanced over at the smaller wolf, his eyes asking the question, no entrance was obvious here and he felt again that sinking feeling that time was running out for him and his love.

he followed, his hair raising as he prepared himself for what ever would come..

Margaret turned to him slowing. Her ears drooped wishing she had something else to report but her eyes said it all, this was a prime harvesting time for alphas that wanted to become supreme. There was only one supreme alpha. An alpha to rule all alphas, but they had to win the affection of the goddess. And winning affection was described very differently amonst all wolves. Some sought out and hunted their mates like they were deer, and when the time was right, they jumped and many times it resulted in a very brutal rape. Margaret just hoped that the soon to be late supreme was doing his final duty.

She began to run and soon they were in the shadows of a very huge temple built by stones alone that seemed to shine with an ethereal light. Surrounding the temple were werewolves in various forms all shouting and fighting trying to get past guardians of the temple. Blood and anger and hatred were strong here, but also the smell of one lone diety that was unawakened. Margaret turned to Nicholas before he could do anything and her eyes moved quickly to the amulet to warm him to keep it safe and keep it hidden from other alphas.

She shivered and turned human leaning forward. She was naked and she looked at Nicholas. "These alphas will kill you to take the amulet. Hammish and I can protect you, but we can only do so much. I am a guardian, but a guardian against a several packs of wolves isn't going to do a whole hell of a lot." She said and then looked up and at the temple. "Be careful when you go to her, a goddess that is first awakened for the first time is very unstable." She said and continued. "Plus she has been asleep for a while so that might have an affect on her and we do not know what shape she is in to have all the packs and alphas out here angry."

He watches the carnage and fury that lays there in front of him, realizing the danger of the situation and the bravery of the two wolves to bring him here. their devotion to the cause and the goddess apparent in their willingness to try and help him at their own risk. He sifts and stands, his hand taking the amulet and wraping it in his hand to conceal it. He steps forwards and silently acknowledges his words as he watches, considering what to do.

He needs to get past the snarling angry bunch, some braver ones already tried and were either dead or injured or locked in battle with the other and the guardians.

He steps forward, his size and power making some wiser wolves move to the side and looks for his first risk, he moves to the steps with an air of confidence, staring at a few and daring them to be the first.

Margaret walks with Nicholas but only under the stiff arm of Hammish. The alphas were not concerned with him, they saw he had a mate. But they watched Nicholas. Some moving and shifting. Raising their lips in a snarl. Soon quick movement was seen from within and a handsome young looking alpha stood behind the guardians watching Nicholas.

Margaret gasped and reached out to Nicholas. "That was the previous alpha supreme. He knows you are the one." She whispered to him just as a giant muscled man stepped in front of Nicholas and chuckled low. "Where do you think you're going little pup." He snarled low. Hammish stepped up beside Nicholas holding Margaret behind him.

He looked at the alpha supreme as Margaret pointed him out to Nicholas, the look of fatigue was there in the older wolf's eyes and also the determination to see through his duty. as the large powerful male step in his way he looked at him, he seemed to be a mountain of a creature, looking down at him with a sneer of superiority confident that the size and power alone would win him his mate.

"to claim what is mine, now step aside and you will not be hurt" Nicholas said calmly, he had fought many wolves before and he knew that the start the positioning and the first attack could be the deciding moment. he watched the larger wolf, his body mass making him slower and less agile perhaps, he thought."step aside, i sad..." he growled in a more directly challenging manner.

The wolf laughed and spit to the side. "You hear this mongrel boys? Some lone tramp of a wolf thinks he is going to be the next alpha." He laughed throwing his head back. "Well I can promise you, next moment if you do not get out of here now, you both will be bleeding on the ground with that bitch there with you sucking on my cock." While he had been talking several like minded wolves circled around them. However several wolves who were of the original four if not offshoots that were there to protect the goddess circled around Nicholas and snarled.

The alpha supreme watched this carefully. The guardians watched on as well.

He could see that this wolf was the most dangerous, already some of the others had moved back giving their claims up as the could see they would be beaten by him, he had perhaps killed or maimed a few anyway, just to help the others decide to back away. he could also see that the small group he lead were vicious and stupid, certainly an defeat of their leader and they would turn tail and run. the spit hit the floor as he moved, his speed and anger driving him forwards with no hope of knocking the larger wolf over he used his claws to rake along the stomach and leg to the right side, seeing how the wolf had signalled he favoured it. the gashes deep , he turned and spun on his back foot, his teeth and eyes glowing as he did.. the first blood was his.

"She'll be eating your cock but only after i have fed on your broken body... i practice the old ways.. and you are nothing but a slow meat to me..."
