Returning Home (UK_Guy_RP & Loneiysong)

"i needed help and as one who fights demons, I thought it only fitting it was you.. there are hell beasts coming and I hope you put aside my crimes now to help me fight those that threaten this whole plane of existence." he looks fierce, defiant, if he is going to die today it will not be on his knees and without a fight. he knows he has no power to banish these creatures be he hopes they can be damaged and torn as he goes down. then he can be with his mate in what ever the afterworld holds for him.

"so fuck you.. kill me now or them those demonic spawn do it... "he growls, his claws wet and ready his eyes glowing, he has never felt more ready to fight and to kill. the first shadows break through the fog, tall and terrifying the devil's own assassin, without souls and humanity. he throws himself forwards.. his teeth exposed hitting it full in the chest, they might be able to kill a she wolf but they have never met the likes of him an alpha in his prime, enraged at the loss of his mate and ready to die.

The angel looked at him and frowned. Soon Jack's jacket spread adn shredded and fell to his feet as he spread his wings broadly to the onslaught. The clouds parted and bright light blinded everyone and everything in the place. Soon several shouts were head and angels and archangels spread throughout the whole street hacking and slaying the demons with their holy swords. Jack stood alone covered in blood, even the Goddess was there wearing armor and bearing a devilish looking sword.

During the war, the goddess appeared and walked over to him and smiled and stroked his face. "Ohh noble creature, go find your mate, and when you do, I will make you her protector and you will protect her and be bonded with her. You will be her champion and be imbued with my power." She stroked his wolfish face and smiled watching him.

Jack howled in pain as he was speared by a headless horseman and as if Hell itself were intervening, the skies opened up and it began to rain blood. As the holy light was still present and blinding, it dried the blood instantly to the warriors on the impromptu battlefield.

He leapt and hit the creature full in the chest, the impact assured him these creatures had a physical aspect and as such he could harm them perhaps. his claws grabbed the arm wielding the sword, blocking its swing and gripping and twisting, feeling the material tear and the flesh and construct underneath break and shatter. the arm would not separate but he could feel rthe bone or whatever had shattered under his grip, his teeth went for the throat now, trying as hard as he could to reach the and bite but a swift backhand threw him away and down.

he looked up to see the creature with its ruined arm looking at him and manipulating the shattered limb back into palce before it s tarted the deadly sword swing again. he knew without magic or blessing his physical strength alone would not help him.

preparing for the worst he shouts her name, calling to her with his final gasp. the blow fails to arrive abd his up turned eyes sees the goddess there, her sword embedded in the chest of the Demon warrior, it shatters into pieces as the sword is pulled free abd is banished. he sees her kneel abd soak with him, the words soft but heard despite the battle raging about them

"You cannot hope to win this battle. Why have you started it alone?" The angels continued to wage the bloody war but the Hessians kept coming. For warrior without heads, they were quite strong and very resilient. Feeling a hessian come for her, she whipped around and sliced it in half and knelt back down.

"I mean what would Elena say if she knew you got into a battle you knew you could not win." More angels kept arriving trying to push back the Hessians.

"i would die for what i believe in rather than turn my tail and run, besides she is gone from me and I am not worthy of her favour after the trap I have lead her into. I will fight for her and i wil live with her or die defending her she is my blood, my love and my life."

i looks up as he rises to his feet, seeing a hessian approach fro her blind side he leaps to his feet again, knowing his moment of defence despite being futile will give her the opportunity to react. the sword slips past him and he ducks low knocking the creature from its feet and tearing again at his body..

The goddess saws him move and ducked quickly and spun killing the hessian that was trying to sneak up on her. She howled her outrage now caked with blood and her eyes glowed white as she left the wolf and tore through the ranks laying waste to Hessians. But she did get injured and soon disappeared from site. The Hessians were distracted though giving the angels what they needed to recieve the upper hand.

He saw the angels push them back and finally the tide turned the violence and blood running through the streets and the hessains falling back to move to exit. He sees that the fight is finished and he lifts himself to his feet and makes his way to the injured Jack.

He offers his hand to the prone man, who looks in pain. "thanks... will you be alright?" he looks concerned after all this was a trick to draw them into the fight and he still had business with this creature. His own shoulder and leg were injured but he would heal and he wished he had been more effective in this fight. perhaps the if the words of the goddess were true, he might be in the future.

Jack was not getting up any time soon. His head had been removed and missing and his body had been raped as in the fashion of a Hessian murder. Several of the angels were congregating in one position and looking down. Then one angel looked up at him and motioned him over.

It was the goddess. She too had been mortally injured. Her holy blood pouring out of her. She was injured so she would suffer and slowly die. She coughed and sputtered. Blood rolled down her chin as one of the angels tried to make her as comfortable as possible.

He kneels before her and bows his head, seeing the moon goddess in this way devastates him and makes him fear for his own child who was in her care. "I am sorry, it was my recklessness that brought you here and my arrogance that has killed so many of you in this fight. Is there anything i can do to make this right?"

Reaching out he dares to touch her hand and hopes, his gesture of remorse is seen as one of comfort as well. "what is it I must do?"

The moon goddess coughed and one of the angels quickly wiped her mouth of blood. Reaching up a trembling hand she wrapped her fingers around a moonstone medallion that was the symbol of her power. Reaching out to him she swallowed. "She will take my place. I knew at her birth. Give this to her and let her know she is not alone." She whispered out breathing hard as it was a labor for her.

"She will have one thing I have had lost for a long time now. A lover and protector. Please do not leave her." She looked at him stroking his face. She pressed her hand against his chest and using the last of her goddess magic branded him the new moon goddess protector and consort and this giving him all the powers that came with it. "Now..you must....find her....help her..... Remember." She sighed rolling her head to the side and died.

Taking the medallion from her fingers, he opens his mouth to make his vow, but sees she has further words to impart and so knees silent as she explains and blesses him. The homour with which she has bestowed him overwhelms him, he realises what this will mean to them both and the burden he will have to help her carry in the future. He watches her die with sorrow in his heart, sorrow for what has come to pass and was caused by him and sorrow that it is now his daughters burden to carry. his eyes wet with the tears that he holds back, he feels a hand upon his shoulder."such is her passing, wolf... she like the moon is a cycle, her time was coming to an end and she was well aware this battle would be her last... do not squadour the blessing she has given you.."

By the time, he dare look up without the liquid in his eyes flowing, he realises he is alone. the blood and bodies gone, it was as if nothing had happened here except a woman murdered. such was the way of the battles of the higher plane beings, no evidence left for the mundane world. He rises stiffly and moves slowly away from the body, needing to put distance between him and it before it is discovered, he just hopes that where ever her spirit is will forgive him for leaving her there like a mere human.

Turning the corner, he pulls out his phone and orders a taxi.. his mind trying to not think of the pain adnd focus on where he might find Elena

Elena was in the care of the goddess' old consort. He was a younger looking man. When Elena arrived at the temple. She immediately collapsed and went into a state of coma. The young man, talk and very lean with pale features, black hair, and ghostly blue eyes cared for Elena. Elena had her own room which was hidden and very secure.

The temple which she was in, was like a myth to all werewolves. In fact in their myths, it was like their mount Olympus. But only one god resided there when on the mortal plane. A goddess. The temple was nestled against a hill overlooking a forest and ocean. The consort came into Elena's room where any mortal would say she was dead. "Good morning. Are we going to get up today?" He moved over and looked down at her. "Or are we just going to cry off and on and affect the weather here?" Seeing tears roll down her face he groaned.

"My goddess your a difficult one." He wiped her eyes with a handkerchief he kept in his jeans and pull over shirt. His accent was thick and Scottish. He made to attempt to feed her which was ways a battle. He then very reverently and with dignity washed her, put her in a new night gown, and left her alone.

The taxi arrived and he climbed in slowly, carefully watching the street and wondering if he had been observed at all, the place was run down and as such it was unlikely he had been seen arriving or leaving at this time. he watched the world glide past the window, and wondered how the wolf world would take to the passing of their goddess, he know that it was would soon be apparent to them and as such there will be more trouble than usual in the packs, he also knew that his relationship with the new chosen goddess would need to be kept a guarded secret for the moment, he did not know where the power would lie now and he expected certainly that there will be packs vying and trying to seek favour or revenge at this time.

His hotel approached and he paid the driver, a tip to make sure he forgot he was ever had that fare and where he took the tall and battered man. he wanted to lick his wounds and rest but he knew that he could not. he considered his next move and decided a drink was in order.. walking through to the bar he ordered a beer and sat quietly in the corner.

A woman that was tall and had very short hair watched him. She was dressed all in black and ran her fingers up and down suggestively against a wine glass. She watched him soft brown eyes that would remind him of the spell book that Elena used to carry around with her. She watched him with keen eyes. She gave off no scent whatsoever except old books and an ancient library, but in a pleasing way, not a musty old person smell.

Standing up, she wore a short skirt and a haltar top with a leather jacket. She moved to a table closer to watch him and stare at him.

He slowly pulled the label from his beer, his mind distracted by the fuzziness from the blow to the head and the confused thoughts in his head. He had to focus and think but the events of the past few hours and the loss of his lover had stunned him. he could not move past the deep concern he had for her and where she might be. the sips came slow and painfully to his split lip as he looked down, unaware he was being watched from the bar.

as the label tore away from the bottle and he failed to make a clean removal, he sighed and looked up. for a moment he was surprised, there was someone near him now and he could not say how or when they had arrived at the table before him. She certainly was attractive and very sexy in her clothing, expensive and tight but elegant too. aware that he must be off balance due to the previous events, he checked his senses, the hearing, smell and eyesight should have never failed him enough to allow him to be surprised and his subtle inhalation, confirmed that this woman bore not distinctive aroma, in fact she smell as an object and owned, rather than an owner itself.

As she sipped her white wine, he acknowledged her and sipped his beer, wondering who or what she was and why was she taking an interest in him.

Seeing him finally acknowledge her, she stood up, came over, and sat at his table and looked at him. "You are covered in blood." She said pointing out the after effects of the rain of blood he had been through. "It scares mortals. So I thought a glamour was in order. Where is she?" She spoke in a thick Scottish accent that was very lyrical.

Reaching out, she grabbed the label and began to fold it origami style. "The only reason I ask is I know something is wrong otherwise I wouldn't be human like this." She continued to fold the beer bottle label.

He looked up at her, the facial features seem familiar and the voice also, he wonders where he knows her from. He was about to explain that now is not a good time, when she mentions blood, mortals and 'she' he looks again as she manipulates the torn beer label in her delicate fingers.

"what are you?" he asks, his suspicions aroused already, she knows Elena that is certain and the looks and the demeanour he wonders if this is creature is the manifestation of her magic and the spell book. "i'll honestly tell you I do not know, she was taken by the moon goddess and spirited away, I can only assume to prepare her for the role she now plays." he doesn't bother to explain further, he suspects that she knows the full story of what happened in the battle. "can you help me find her and reach her?"

"I am the book. She made a spell in her book that if anything were to happen to her, I would help you find her. But seeing as how it was your goddess that took her, I am not of much help. I know little to no mythology of the goddess nor where she spirits her followers to." She smiled as she held up the finished origami that was in the shape of a crane. She put on the table and leaned back.

"I am here to make sure you behave as you look for her. She is as territorial of you as you are of her." She smiled and sat back crossing her legs and finished her wine. She watched him and smiled.

"So do you have any guesses how to find her?" She watched him.

"of course the spell book... i should have known, she is a clever girl... "he finishes his beer and sighs, "you want another?" he holds up his hand for another drink and without an answer signals for another wine also. "behave myself? what on earth you think i am going to do?" he looks at her, she is so alluring as she sits there watching him.

the drinks delivered , he looks down again"there are tales of places that the moon goddess resided, i can recall them if i have access to a library and the elder wolves, one is a friend and he will help us." he rubbed his shoulder as he sipped the second beer aware of the bruises forming there. "i am glad you are here to help.. is there no way you can communicate with her?"

"It's not what I think you would get into, it's what she thinks you might get into." She shrugged a bit and watched him signal for another round.n she watched as another chilled glass of white was sat down in front of her and she took it and sipped from it and looked at him and down nervously.

"No, it's like she is cut off from me. All I feel from her is deep darkness. All negative feelings and sadness. It is the most I can feel. That's how I know she is not dead." She rubbed her face a bit and watched him and frowned a bit. "One of the many reasons she magicked me should something happen to her was to heal you. I can help with that bruising." She continued to drink. One could tell she was a bit nervous. Her eyes kept darting around.

"So she is the goddess now?" She looked at him biting her lip.

"healing me would be most welcome, it hurts like hell even with a few beers to deaden the pain..." he smiles almost apologetically. siping the next beer he looks at her, his eyes looking at her deeply, as he does he realises there are aspects of her here, tiny aspects and also of others too, he wonders if that the spell book itself is handed down over generations of the gift or magic has a genetic memory back to the wielders before. not questions he can ask right now but the thoughts sustain for the while as he studies her. "so what do I call you? i can hardly call you book can i?"

Hearing the nervousness in the voice, he looks up, realising tis must be a strange experience for her and one she seems to be wary of. "yes she will be the goddess.. I have been sent with the emblem for her. thta is the one thing that gives me hope, i am cast as her protector and i carry her amulet, I expect that they are as keen to find me as I them..."

He drinks deeply of the beer and looks about, the evening is gathering and more people are joining at the bar. "lets get out of here... I need healing and somewhere we can talk in privacy." he gets slowly to his feet, his body stiff and as he does the noise from his hip causes a few heads to turn, the strains of 'another one bites the dust' by queen sounds out and he pulls the phone from his pocket curious to see who is calling him.

"Well that's what I am hear for." She smiled looking at him. "Call me whatever, Elena calls me her tome, but if you must call me anything, call me Mab from the mother of all things magic." She smiled and bit her lip as her question was answered and then looked down and away. "We must go find her quickly, if I cannot find her, that means she does not remember anything, and she will be having several Alpha's vying for her favor and attention. You can be quickly replaced as her guardian and champion." She looked at him very seriously. She finished her wine and stood up with him and smiled as the sound of his cellphone going off.

"Interesting tone, one that Elena would find very favorable. She always listened to the people who sang that." She walked to the elevator bank to call an elevator remembering where teh hotel room was and watched him raising an eyebrow.

He ;looks at the phone, England, Burchill one of the pack leaders and on the forum of European pack. he sighs and answers the call, he knows what this will be about, it is night over there and they will know that the moon goddess has passed, that something has happened and they will want a report.

"yes...." he answers and knows his answers now will be reported to all packs in time, he knows that giving the truth will be a problem and so he elects to play ignorant."what has happened? no... i have not. the work here is not complete and has a greater importance than i thought.. i cannot report now i am not alone"

he closes the phone and looks at Tome, "lets get up to the room and sort this fucking mes out" he walks into the lift and travels up with her, trying to avoid looking at the long pale white legs under that very short skirt. "heal me and then we can try and figure out where they might have taken her... and i can reclaim my mate and you your ... err owner."

Tome listened to the alpha on the other phone. When word got out, they would begin to search. The ways that all creatures of night would know the moon goddess was being changed to another person, the moon would hold no magic, no shine, no comfort. It would just be as most mortals saw it. Cold and the only source of light at night. They would know the moon goddess was up for grabs mate wise and would be scrambling to win her attention with feats of strength, gifts, and acts of art.

She smiled as she felt his eyes on her. Elena had made her to be very seducing in image to get whatever information was needed. She then walked to the hall when the doors opened and she looked at him and smiled.

"She is more like my mother than my owner. A witch and her book are two very special creations. One cannot survive without the other. Which is another way we both know she is alive. I am here and not gone." She waited by the door and reached into a small purse pulling out Elena's stack of tarot cards and slashed it through the key card holder to which it clicked green and she held the door open for him.

"Come inside, take off your shirt and I will heal you." She smiled watching him.

Walking inside, he pulls off his shirt and drops it on the bed. the room remains as he left it, all jumbled and muddled up from their love making. It seem emptier now and he can smell her scent. the heaviness in his heart crushing his hope for one moment. where could they start?

"right, ok I guess if she is your mother, then I am your father too of a sort." he turns to her his chest bare and stands there the livid bruises showing from the impact of the fight, deep reds and purples forming in clouds on his skin, the pinprickle of broken blood vessels the points of impact. He finally sees himself in the mirror, the battered body of his and the covering of blood from the fight. He is amaze d that no one screamed and ran fro him but he has tome to thank for that, even before he had seen her she must have been watching him and covering his tracks.

"I need to speak to Jacob and find out what he might know, his pack has one of the oldest wolves I know and she might be able to help, we need to do that before dark and the moonrise, to prevent them knowing what Europe already realises."
