Returning Home (UK_Guy_RP & Loneiysong)

"No, sir, spell books don't have fathers unless they are made by a male wizard. And books are rarely made by the copulating of two magicians. That gets very hairy really fast." She watched him take off his shirt and stood up and moved over as her hands began to glow as she gently pressed her hand against every bruise. Her touch mended the broken blood vessel below and dispersed the blood. She looked up at him and smiled a bit.

"Why do you ask? Why did you make that comment?" She wondered if the mans loyalty to his mate was faltering in her absence.

"Yes, go speak to Jacob, but you do need a shower, you are caked in blood from the rain of blood from hell." She sat on the table in front of the sexed up bed and watched him carefully.

"i am sorry being the father of your witch, i thought that would be a funny joke.. me being your father.." he shrugs realising this creature is more literal than he had supposed, in fact the irony of being literal as a personified book is not lost on him. "sorry about the mess, I guess you know what we were doing as you are linked to her in some ways.."

he looks at her and stands there, unsure how this healing will work between them. the cold dry hands work over his body as the pain dissipated and the wounds healed, it was without the comfort of before when she sent the creature to heal him here in this room as if it was magic with no love or tenderness, he worried for a moment if this disassociation was due to her being so far away.

he sees her worry in her eyes and as she looks at him assessing him and his intent. he choooses not answer the question her eyes seem to be searching for. "i will call him now and see if we can meet immediately, we need to understand where she might be..." he pulls the phone out and asks Jacob to meet them in the hotel in 15 minsutes. he nods and smiles"Just time to get this dirty shit off me.."

She watched him and sat down at the table and looked at her hands listening to the phone call. She nodded when he said that he needed to go shower, she waved him off. Looking through Elena's purse that was still there, she pulled out a book of mythology and opened it as her eyes moved over the words. She then began to pace the room. Only when he had gone for his shower, she dissolved and went back to her book form. No one else was to know what she was. Elena was to that.

he washed quickly and effectively, his busy hands removing the sticky blood from his head and body.he knew it was not all demon, it was the lives he sacrificed in his goal abd if it was not his daughter then he would consider it to great to Carey.

he stopped the shower and wrapped in a towel, stepping out the bathroom he looks about thinking she has left him.dreading the worse, her words, if she does not existthen tome doesn't he looks about his eyes frantic. he sees her on the bed lying there as an object.

"Oh for Fuck sake show yourself.. " he muttered

But she wouldn't. She was at her core an inanimate object that had her orders. And in the rules of magic, inanimate objects had to follow the orders of their owners. Elena's orders were to go back to her form if anyone was coming to see him, and she could feel Jacob coming.

Elena was being seen by several alphas who had found where she was residing. Several were trying to get her to wake up through various means, such as kissing, and even talking to her. But the old protector of the old goddess sat by and after an hour of watching alphas of packs make fools of themselves, he ushered them out and left Elena alone.

He dried himself quickly and pulled on a fresh sweatshirt and jeans, he tussled his hair just as there was a knock at the door. Picking the book up from the side of the bed he placed it carefully on the desk making sure it was upright. he wondered if such attention would be appreciated or even know by Tome.

Smelling the scent of jacob he opened the door.."Jacob thank you for seeing me again, I can understand it is a difficult time, i must inform you the creatures that killed your brother and family are dead." he sist down heavily on the unmade bed, the scent of sex in the air as jacob looks about for Elena.."where is she?" he asks warily.

"She isnt here and i need your help again, i need to know where the moon goddess might be found, you know the old stories and the mythology, where could i find her palace?"

The tome didn't move or care that it was picked up. It was an inanimate creature and it was only alive because Elena willed it to be alive.

Elena would not wake. Her memories gone, but a part of her yearned and mourned and pined for her mate. All of the collective wolves all around the world howled a mournful tune to the moon as if reflecting the goddesses yearning eternal soul. But due to teh previous goddesses powers, her memories were wiped adn she could not remember what it was she wanted.

Jacob nods and sighs "i think i might know of a place they could be. The elder has already been talking about this to me, she is concerned with the transition of power being so sudden and rapid. She has been urging me to be prepared for trouble with the pack over this, it gets the young alphas blood up and the rest nervous."

He sits for a moment and pulls out a notebook. "she gave me this location, its a national park and she says the entrance is there, she warned me others will be looking and they will expect to fight for the right to be with a goddess..." he looks at Nicholas sadly "you know I know its Elena, i sensed something about her when we met, I hope you find her again.."

He stands and offers his hand to Nicholas,"good bye old friend and thank you for avenging my brother and his family... "

He leaves the door clicking closed as Nicholas looks about the room, and looks at the name on the paper. "I guess that is where we go then...

Tome sighed as he left and sat on the table with her legs crossed and leaned forward and frowned. "This will not be easy, I sense more and more of Elena but it is not Elena, it is other perceptions of Elena. It is like looking at a painting of someone you know. It is them, but something is off and you cannot place it. Alphas have already found her." She said seriously and looked at him and then smiled gently.

"But at least you get to go home, if you do in fact have a home." She stood up and then stretched her back and crossed her arms and looked about the room at Elena's scattered things and then wrinkled her nose. "SHe wasn't very tidy was she." She sighed a long suffering sigh and began to pack everything of Elena's in her bag and then shrunk it down to the size of an orange and put it in his bag and sat on the bed and looked at Nicholas.

"Well?" She said raising her eyebrows.

Packing his things quickly he pushes the rumpled clothes into the case without care and attention, throwing in the items from the bathroom, he slams it shut and forces the clasps to close. "well get a taxi to the airport and internal flight to the closest place to this park. while we are travelling i will get a hire car..." he looks about the room and picks up the folder of documents. "how you going to be able to travel? you going to sit in my pocket or you want your own seat?"

he opens the door and calls the lift as he turns back, the sense of urgency in his eyes and worry adding an edge to his voice as he talks. his hand holding the case and the knife in his jacket feeling heavy, he knows he will need to lose that before the airport, no way that will get through a checkpoint, besides the way he is feeling now, he will not need any weapons b ut his own bare hands and teeth should anyone get in his way.

Time smiled and watched him pack in a rush. She then moved forward and took the blade from his pocket. "I will travel as a book and should an emergency arise where you just need to ask me for the blade and I will give it to you." She put it in the purse strapped across her chew and changed into the book hovering before him.

Elena meanwhile was subject to alphas becoming more and more bold as to trying to take off her clothes and copulate with her.

THe ride to the airport was slow, many times he wished he could just drive himself or have that book do some hogwarts shit and just transport them there... though he suspected that magic was a bit more grounded in the earth and sexual arts than that author implied with all those goody goodies. he stepped out the cab at the airport and paid, he tipped because he had to and did so poorly, wondering what language he was being cursed in as he watched the driver leave.

His reservation was an half hour, he had used influence on the pack to get him fast carded through, the benefit of security and police details was that wolves fitted right in and rose to the top of those professions. as he awaited the call he looked about, calculating and smelling the other boarders, a simple internal flight was sparsely populated and very few held his interest for more than a moment, a pair sitting away from each other but with the same scent, lovers returning home. an alcoholic, trying to sweat out the last few days, the ex smoker and the nervous flyer... all mundane. he wondered how long this would take he had contacts at the other end, to move him straight from the plane to the side doors, no security or delays he was promised. he refused the offer of a second drink, he was tense enough without feeling out of control.

not long now he concluded when he checked his watch and then the door opened..

Unbeknownst to him, a friendly face was waiting for him at the gate. It was the keeper of the myths and stories of the packs. Her job was basically to keep a going record of everything that happened since the birth of the goddess from the wolves meeting with the earth and begging for an ultimate alpha and that was when the gddess was given to them. Her name was Margaret. She had short cropped black hair and always dressed in the punk style. She was werewolf, but in no means a warrior, more in teh protector class.

She smiled seeing people coming out and held a big glittery sign with his name on it. Her eyebrows and ears up and down were pierced. She was a sexy saucy little minx who always knew where to get stuff, and how to get it. She smiled adn stood on the tip toes of her docs and looked around people. She continued to wait and sat back frowning bouncing on the heels of her feet.

he walked out the gate with his bags, the carry on luggage had sped up his escape from the fliying purgatory that he had been through and now he was there at the arrivals. He know he was to be met and he scanned the crowd of awaiting humans. Two men were obvious one a cop and the other in a suit, their poker faces failed when they set eyes on him and he knew they were waiting for him but bringing a cop here in uniform did not sit right with Nicholas. THey were here to wait for him but he concluded not as the greeting party. Certainly wolves, there physique and movements confirmed that as teh started to walk towards him, the eyes of the cop, looking about checking the other members of the crowd.

His nose alerted hi to another wolf, certainly smaller and feminine, he spotted her as she tried to see past the rest of the crowd, her head bobbing up and down and her eyes alert. As the people infront of her moved, he saw teh sign, in glitter of all things! his name in glitter, that concluded it, she was his greeter and even if she was unprepared for trouble as a sign like that would suggest, he knew now these other pair were to intercept him and make sure he never made it out of the airport carpark.

He walked quickly, pretending he had not see the now approaching men, walking up and offering his hand with a wide smile and a flash of his eyes. "Im Holden and its nice to meet you... dont look but there are other wolves here, certainly to try and kill me... get me to a quiet spot and we can deal with them... you understand?"

Margaret looked at the two men as they began to close in. She shifted feeling the cold metal of a gun that was made by wolves for wolves. Only keepers and guardians were allowed to carry them because one shot meant agonizing horrific death. They had been tailing her ever since word got out the moon goddess was gone. They had not really agitated her until now.

Walking forward, she smiled as she wrapped her arms around Nicholas giving them the signal they were in dangerous territory now that they should leave. A keeper was always quick to forgive but when it came to myths and the continuation of a goddess lineage, they got pissed. Nicholas was pivotal to the goddess' life and wolves alike. She looked up and smiled.

"I understand." Margaret had a cute rolling Scottish accent. She turned taking his hand and began to quickly navigate the bustling airport ducking into large unseen crowds that jostled and fucked up the scent trail. Her black painted fingernails clutched his shirt. She moved knowing this airport like the back of her hand never pausing once. She was alpha in this territory. CSoon the crowds were dwindling and they walked faster. They were at a wing of the airport that looked like it needed serious renovation because it looked like walking into the 70s. No flights came here, and most importantly no people.

"My name is Margaret of the Hiethcliff clan. You have been following me seeking information and to better yourselves through mate stealing and death. I am the keeper of the myths of several packs. If you do not leave now, I am endowed with the power of several alphas to do what is necessary."

Even though Margaret was small and very beautiful, she held herself like a wolf. A mother wolf protecting her cubs. She bared her teeth and growled turning her head.

They stop in their tracks as they assess them both, they had orders to intercept and kill the alpha on the plane but this was different, it was no longer going uip against a strange alpha without a pack a long way from home, this was going against some of the most powerful and established pack in the area. they could tell she was carrying a wepaon too, no doubt the bullets laced with silver, enough to kill or maim even more their second foot hit the floor.

THye backed away slowly, growling their protest but realising that between the alpha and the smaller wolf, this was a fight they would lose. Nicholas looks at her and nods in appreciation, realising that alone it would have been a dangerous fight,"thanks, you did that well and they backed down... I guess the glittery sign was a nice touch too..." lifting his case to his arm and he offers his hand again ..."Nicholas, its an absolute pleasure to meet you Margaret.. i may know some one in your clan, who were your parents?" he asks because he assumes she is young, and incredibly self assured for one that looks like a teenager and barely in her full adult form.

She sighed. Even though she was allowed to kill, she hated it. She watched them retreat and obviously breathed a sigh of relief. She shifted and handed him the sign and pulled her bag closer and laughed. Her laugh was soothing and somewhat comforting.

"You do not know my parents. But you may know my mate, Hammish." She smiled. This would seem weird to anyone that was not in a pack. Hammish was a powerful beta that was practically everywhere the alpha was. But the thing that was odd was that Hammish was at least 40. She took his hand and gripped it rolling his hand so she could see his knuckles. Seeing something there she smiled wider.

"You're in luck though, I know exactly where the goddess resides. Which is why I was sent to help you." She smiled and walked with him towards the baggage claim and exit. "How was your trip?"

The news of her knowing where the goddess makes him smile with relief after all, he is happy to hear that he might be reunited soon enough. wondering for a moment, he looks at her again, the swagger and confidence, the choice of a mate twice as old as her and the strange way she looked at his hand made him wonder. he mentally tried to recall the bloodline of the hiethcliff clan but struggling to recall the detail some waht, something about that pack was familiar but he was unsure what.

"the flighth was fine, overpriced and crowded, the air stank of recycled odors...." he walked with her. the pace brisk as he let her lead to where ever her transport was waiting. "so who sent you?" he asked wondering who was on his side and who out here was trying to stop him.

She smiled at the odd look that she was given. She laughed and moved out to a a bright pink mini with black flames along the side. Opening the trunk she looked at him and smiled. "Well, all the packs who were the original four of the goddess. A few off shoots of those also sent me. The Heithcliff pack of the East, the MacKenzie of the south, the Barnum of the north, and the Angiers of the west." She looked at him and walked to him putting her hand on his forearm.

"Nicholas,". She looked into his eyes. "You are home and are amongst friends and under their protection. You are important to the goddess, thus you are important to us, do you understand?" She reached up and touched the side of his face with her other free hand.

He sees the car or at least the last thing he sees before his retinas burn out is a car shape. "nice to see you brought an inconspicuous mode of transport..." he laughs and loads the bags into te boot of the car and climbs in the passenger side. "will it take long to get there?" he asks not because he is worried but trying to calculate how long he needs to recover and relax as well as try and unravel this young lady who is a bit of an enigma at present. for a moment it realises she must be at least 17 if she carries a driving license and so that confirms her looks are younger than her real age.

stretching his long legs out and adjusting the seat back, "it is good to hear i am amongst friends..." he sees the lights turn on as she starts the engine."so you served the goddess long?"

"Hey don't knock my baby. Hammish got it for me. Calls it punk chique." She smiled and got in the driver side and started it up and looked at him and turned down the English punk on the radio and shook her head. "Been serving both the goddess and the pack since birth. I am to take you to the pack house from the airport so you can rest and clean up. Once you have slept and eaten, I will take you to the home of the goddess."

She smiled and tore off fast but efficiently through the streets every so often singing along. She soon came across a gated house and rolled down her window leaning out flashing her bare back to Nicholas and pushed the call button. "Oy Hammish!!! Put down whatever you are cooking and let me in!!" She said and topped off the call with several honks of the horn.

He laughs as she takes mock offence at the joking about the car, its certainly suits her and he can see its a treasured and well cared for possession. the journey is quicker than he expected partly due to the late hour and lack of traffic and partly due to the rapid speed and almost carefree manner of lane use and interesting interpretation of the road laws. after the third red light is jumped and the car feels like it is about to take off again, he closes his eyes and tries to relax.

in the moment his eyes are closed it seems they have stopped and she is leaning out the window shouting abuse at her mat through the intercom, he smiles again the broad accent and tone amusing him. he awaits the gates opening as he tries not to take too long admiring the pale perfect skin of her back.

"rest would be good but not too long, I need to get to Elena, my goddess and see her, I dont want to lose any more time."

She saw the gates opening. "Thank you my love." She purred and got in. She knew he had been eyeballing her skin and it had been a test. She began to pull slowly up the drive. "Tell me Nicholas, and tell me truly cause this is very important. Do you have a wandering eye?" She looked at him and frowned. "Cause if you do, and you might cheat, this mission will be impossible and wolves will forever loathe your name when you do cheat." She spoke of a wisdom beyond her years. "That is what happened to the last protector, broke the goddess heart, the goddess had to refuse him and send him away. That means almost certain death for the goddess. You can pull out now." She continued up the path and after he answered.

"You need your rest because only a wolf can make the hard trek to the goddesses temple and who knows who we will have to fight." She stopped outside and parked the car and gave the car horns a few honks. Seeing the door open, she jumped out of the car and ran to the person she knew was there to meet her.

"Hanmy!" She squealed and wrapped her arms around him tightly standing on tip toe obviously hoping to steal a kiss from her mate.

He sighs and looks at her, she is direct and very intimidating for a young tiny creature, her eyes seem to look into the soul of him and the truth of him. He knows his instincts are to look... but he would never stray his bonding to his daughter is total and complete. he growls slightly as he feels this invasion surprised at the gift and never having someone look into him surprises him to silence. "I am dedicated to the Goddess and I will be my strongest to fight for her, I made a mistake looking at you and i know now that was a test that i failed. just because i looked does not mean i would betray my love for Elena."

He rose from teh car and watched her run to her love, seeing her steal a kiss and he stands there to await his introduction to Hamish.

Margaret smiled at him and nodded. "I believe you." She patted his arm like at the airport and parked her car.

Hammish was a bit older but there was a bond between them as they shared a soft kiss and he growled something low in her ear that turned Margaret a brighter pink than her car and she stepped back and smiled. She held hammish's hand and smiled. "Hammish this is Nicholas, Nicholas HAmmish." She finished the introductions. Hammish stepped forward wearing a button up and slacks. "Nicholas, we have been expecting you, please come in. I hope you are hungry." He smiled putting out his hand for him to shake but stepped between him and Margaret claiming full ownership of her and silently telling Nicholas in a wolfy way "hands off".
