Rowena found his description of this other vampire a bit strange and yet not very descriptive but as he said, she would see tomorrow.

"Either way, we shall cross that bridge when we get to it. Do we still have anything else to do here tonight or are we done?"

It was quite obvious what she was doing or rather implying. After all he had found enjoyment in seeing her new outfit for this area. Little did he know, this was the outfit she wore each time she did come down to the lower district. It drew attention in some ways and also helped those she didn't need to stay away. Although, she had never met the vampire he was talking about down here before, nor had she ever met that succubus until today. She really did hope that things went much better tomorrow than they had today, as in information wise.
 
Alex looked at her for a moment and opened his senses, his little display of power had scared off anything immortal and only humans were around them now. So he shook his head as he stood up.

"No, we're done here."

He said as he walked her out of the room and then out of the Tavern. He took a look at the bar maid and noticed how she looked, she knew what a vampire looked like and he could practically feel the heat from her gaze, and it wasn't an angry look. Sighing he walked out of the Tavern with Rowena and looked around noticing that most of the humans were heading into their homes for the night. Which meant that the real scum bags of the city would be coming out soon.

Walking her out of the Lower District he stretched his back a bit and rolled his head on his shoulders.

"Would you like me to port you home?"

He asked as he honestly didn't think she'd want to do anything other than rest considering that she'd been up for so long without any rest.
 
Rowena should have figure that his display on her behalf had scared off any other immortal for miles possibly. He was a very old and powerful vampire, who had revealed his power to everyone who could feel it, well all the immortals.

Following him out of the Tavern, she did get a look at the bar maid and she didn't like the way she was looking at Alex, as if she wanted to simply devour him or rather let him devour her. Not many humans knew about vampires or any other immortals but those that did, generally did so for pleasure or something else that interested them.

"Why not join me? We don't have to truly get physical if we don't want to. Unless you would rather find yourself a willing human, like that bar maid who was devouring you with her eyes."

She had noticed the bar maid and she didn't like the look at all. So, she had been a little worried that Alex might want some entertainment, yet she was a bit tired from no sleep. It had all been worth it as she had been able to feel such pleasure from both him and the forest. Something she hadn't felt in such a long time, she was even willing to try being in a relationship with a vampire. She was risking that pain again as she didn't believe he would hurt her.
 
Alex looked over at her and slid an arm around her waist as he pulled her close and cupped her cheek so that she'd look at him and only him. His thumb caressed her cheek softly as he shook his head and kissed her forehead.

"Jealousy doesn't sound good on your voice. I would never take a human over a chance to be with you Rowena. Lets get you home. I'm sure your companion misses you, she's still young."

He said as he found a dark alley and ported her with him to her home. Once there, as he figured, the hawk flew over to her and took its spot on her shoulder nuzzling her cheek as he pulled away from her and sat on her couch. As he sat there he found himself fairly tired but at the same time his eyes were locked to her thighs as the leather pants clung to her skin. It really should have been a sin for her to be allowed to wear clothing like that around him.
 
Rowena didn't really have a choice but to look at Alex, she could have fought him but she didn't want to. She didn't like that he was right about her being jealous. Yet, she was so very ready to get back home.

Yet when he actually did port them back to her home, a part of her didn't feel like this was home compared to the forest where Alex lived. She smiles as Kachina flies right to her shoulder and welcomes her back. She reaches up and runs her fingers down her back as she missed Kachina as well. Even though she was distracted by Kachina, she could still feel his eyes on her body. Turning to look at him as she giggles a bit.

"Something appealing to you, Alex? Anything that strikes your fancy?"

She actually wiggles her hips a bit as she was teasing him and enjoying the way he was looking at her like he wanted to truly devour her. She felt so very carefree, no real troubles and even with what happened to her in the past, forgotten mostly.
 
Alex felt his fangs un-sheath from his gums as he stood and walked over to her with a smile. Seeing her hips wiggle just made another part of his anatomy very eager to enter her just as his fangs were. Still, he held back his more primal needs and smiled at her as he stroked Kachina's chest a bit.

"There is quite a bit that strikes my fancy about you. Some of them I am not willing to say with the infant around."

He said as he held back on the more intimate details since Kachina was still a baby.

"If you must know, your eyes, your ears, your lips, your mind, your spirit, your heart...those are the things that I can mention that have struck my fancy since the moment I got to know you."

He said as he pushed a bit of his own energy into his hand as he stroked her neck and touched her ears so that his energy countered her own and her ears were once again visible to him. He looked over her for a moment and kissed her lips softly.

"I don't want you to hide anything about you when around me. You are beautiful to me, the way you entered this world."
 
It was obvious to Rowena as to what was going on mostly inside Alex's head. He had already told her that this outfit was far too revealing not to appeal to him. It was hard to be truly intimate with Kachina here, it didn't mean they still couldn't have some wonderful things to say and such. They just couldn't do anything that required no clothing.

He even did say some very wonderful things to her, it was hard for her not to smile as he really did care. That inner voice was still telling her not to let her feelings cloud her judgment, just to be very cautious and not get too caught up in the feelings, like she had once before.

She felt his hand move over her neck and ears, making her real ears show. She didn't mind as she didn't need to hide them while around him anyways, her knew what she was and didn't care. The soft kiss felt so amazing.

"I'm sorry, I tend to forget a lot when I'm around you. That is those things that don't apply directly to either of us. I didn't even remember that I still had my spell on, just habit I guess."
 
Alex smiled at her as he nodded and took her hand as he led her to the couch and when they sat down he held her close to him so that she could rest her head in the groove between his shoulder and his collar bone. The muscle and skin there offering a soft pillow for her to lie against while he held her to him and just enjoyed the soft cuddling time. Alex ended up resting against the back of the couch and taking a small nap a she seemed to do as well.

Kachina had eventually flown off and gone looking for small birds to eat and explore the area. She was the only bird of prey in the city so no one was worried about her getting harmed. When Alex woke from his small nap it had only been about an hour's worth and he looked around for the infant and after he sensed she had gone looking for food, he looked down at Rowena and kissed along her neck to stir her awake.

"We should move to the bedroom. It seems Kachina has gone looking for food and to explore."
 
Rowena let him lead her toward the couch, sitting down to then just completely relax against him as she found it very comfortable. She did need the rest as she had been up the entire night, day, then night again with him. She was exhausted with the wonderful orgasms he had been able to give her. It was so strange to be able to truly feel herself give in to the pleasure and let herself just go. She fell asleep and barely even dreamt at all.

To be awoke in such a way had her smile as she opened her eyes, lifting up her head to look at Alex. It wasn't likely the most comfortable place for them to be at. Yet with her maids, it was best to head up to her room, other wise things could be rather awkward. With that she gets up and leads him up the grand staircase, down the hall a bit before turning to open her bedroom. It was nothing really a human would think to find in her room. She used another room when she was with humans.

Her room was filled with plants of varying kind in pots, her bed was actually made of real wood but it still had a soul to it as she was able to talk to it. The rest of it was as though she was living outside as the tree she had talked about, they were living in her room, which sometimes she called the garden as it felt like one.

"I hope you like my room. I wanted to keep as much to who I am as possible. I have a separate bedroom for when I brought a human over. Haven't done that in about a century, maybe more."
 
Alex looked around her room and could hear the faint whispers of the plant life in the room. Chuckling a bit he shook his head as he kissed her temple.

"I don't know if I'd want to get naked in the room to simply shower. All these 'eyes' around here for me to hear about it later."

He said as he chuckled and heard the wood along the bed talking about some very...interesting...experiences whenever Rowena got too lonely. Alex just shot her a side glance and laughed a bit.

"Sooo...I guess having some personal fun isn't the greatest idea when someone will remind you of it all the time eh?"

He said as he sat on the bed and looked at her as he ran his hands along the smooth leather of her waist and as she stepped closer he did something he hadn't done in over three centuries. He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on her stomach. Normally that was what a male did when he was kissing his mate's pregnant stomach, but in her case, it was just what he had at that particular level.
 
Rowena had never found it to be annoying or bothersome at all to have the sounds of nature all around her, it just felt like home. She couldn't help but laugh at his comment.

"I do believe if you were to get naked, they wouldn't shut up about you for quite sometime. They do enjoy talking about all of what has happened in here. At least I don't take any humans into this room. After all, it's not a room a human female would have. Besides, what they are talking about, I haven't done in such a long time."

Watching him sit down on her bed and feel his touch along her waist as she moves closer. She was rather shocked that he was kissing her stomach, in a way it did bring back a few sad memories. Mainly, losing the baby to the one she thought had truly loved her. She didn't realize it but she was crying. A stray tear even landed on Alex's forehead.
 
The moment Alex felt the tear on his skin he looked up then sighed as he pulled her down into his arms and laid with her. He laid behind her, spooning with her and simply wrapped his arms around her so that he was holding her close to him and just letting her let out her emotions. He didn't say anything or make any other movements to comfort her other than holding her. Sometimes holding the one you cared about and being silent was the best way to go when there were no words that could offer comfort.

As he laid there for a while he felt a familiar tingle in his hand and hissed a bit as he looked at it. Seeing his skin give way to a red compass looking diagram he sighed and kissed her neck as he stood up out of the bed and moved to an open spot on the floor. A black figure came out of the floor and while there were no facial distinctions, there were two white eyes.

"What news?"
"I go to speak with Shadow tomorrow night. A Succubus said that he'd confronted her about the killings. While they appear to be vampire, the lack of blood from the victims and around the area shows that it may be something entirely different, but I'm unsure of what it is."

There was a long pause before the white eyes moved over to Rowena.

"An Elf? Who is this female?"
"She's a civilian. She's aiding me with the hunt."
"Civilians are not supposed to be involved Alexander. You know this."
"Yes, but she can offer me help in ways I can not do."
"Will she join the Order?"
"No."
"Then she cannot help. Civilians must stay out of Order affairs. Alexander. Report when you have more."

With that the figure was gone and the symbol on his hand faded as Alex shook his hand and flexed it a few times.
 
Rowena really did appreciate the way he just held her to him as those painful memories seemed to resurface. She hadn't wanted them to do so but when he had kissed her stomach it had brought back those feelings of loss. When she had found out about the baby, she had wanted the father to do exactly as Alex had done, instead he had abandoned her before she was even able to tell him. Which then resulted in her losing not only her love but their child.

She was rather curious as to what he was doing, hearing his hiss and then watching him get up, although after he kissed her neck making her actually smile. Then to see a black figure with two white eyes staring at Alex, it was strange to her. Hearing Alex talk helped her to understand what it was and yet she still didn't like it.

When she seemed to be the focus of the figure it had her feeling uneasy. As much as she cared for Alex, this figure was rather disturbing in so many ways. Oh, so he didn't approve of her helping, well she would help anyways, it was her life.

Getting up, she walks up behind Alex to wrap her arms around him, resting her cheek on his back as she sighs softly.

"You don't have to worry about me, I can handle myself and I will be going with you no matter what that figure said. I don't want anything to happen to you, even though I know you can handle yourself, I still worry. He can go shove that up his nonexistent ass."

Now she really didn't know what she was saying but she wouldn't allow Alex to go without her.
 
Alex sighed as he rubbed the palm of his hand and as he felt her come up behind him he glanced back and her but held her hands in his as he listened to her. Smiling at her words he chuckled a bit then turned in her arms and wrapped his arms around her as he kissed her lips deeply this time, letting a bit of his care and adoration for her show in his kiss. When he pulled back he kissed her forehead then smiled at her.

"Thank you Rowena. That actually means a lot to me. The figure that you saw was the Shadow Demon that is on the Head council chair. So he's in charge of the order. He's a good male, he's just very old school, older than I am."

He said as he sat on the bed and brought her with him so that she was sitting in his lap, her legs hanging over his thighs as she was sitting sideways on his lap.
 
Rowena hadn't really expected him to turn around and kiss her the way he did, she had no qualms about kissing him back as she loved the way he made her feel with just a kiss. No one would ever be able to compete with him in anyway, not with how he was able to bring all of these feelings out of her. She had felt similar to this when she had been with her first vampire but it was so much better with Alex as she knew he actually cared.

Wow, to have someone that was older than Alex could be considered intimidating, yet she wasn't afraid at all. For her to feel the need to be with Alex while he was going into something dangerous was surprising. She didn't expect to feel such strong emotions for him so soon.

She smiles as he sets her on his lap sideways. Wrapping her left arm around the back of his head to then connect with her right hand, holding onto him.

"So, do you always follow the rules and regulations that he hands out to you? I suppose your disobeying him in this is truly my fault. I am such a bad influence. I'm curious, you said that this order has many different immortals. Do you have a vampire with dark green eyes and a.... I guess I can't really give you much as he did lie to me."

She was just joking about being a bad influence which was obvious in the way she said it, so very cutesy. As for her ex, she couldn't even say his name and so she didn't want to.
 
Alex smiled at her as she mentioned being a bad influence. He shook his head and kissed her cheek softly.

"You're not a bad influence, a naughty one at the moment, but not bad. He just doesn't like involving civilians because if they get hurt, it's on the Order members conscience. No one ever likes getting innocents caught in the cross fire."

When she mentioned the dark green eyed vampire he wracked his brain for any vampire with dark green eyes and the only one he could think about, David, had been kicked from the Order for killing another Order member and was on the run from them. However he didn't want to stir up any deep emotions with her so he shook his head.

"Not in the Order no. Not anymore anyways."

He said as he looked at her and hoped she'd just leave it alone and not ask simply because he didn't want to take the chance on it being her ex. Simply because David had a track and kill order on him.
 
Rowena understood why he had been told not to involve her but it wasn't his decision, after all she wasn't willing at all to just sit here while he went off and did something that would make her worry. No way would she even consider that.

Hearing that her ex wasn't in the order as far as Alex knew made things a little easier for her. She never wanted to cross his path again and if she did join the Order with Alex, she didn't want anything in the way at all to ruin her time with him. After all she was considering spending such a long time with him, they were immortals after all.

"You are amazing and I'm sure we will find whoever is doing all of this and making it look like a vampire. In the meantime, we should relax and maybe get to know each other better."

The smile she gave him was amazing, she didn't really know what was coming over her but she couldn't help it. She cared about Alex more than she should, at least that's what her inner voice told her.
 
Alex smiled as she mentioned relaxing and getting to know one another more, in which case he nodded and kissed her cheek before he slid back and laid down on the bed with her, just letting her snuggle into him, her leg draped over his, her head on his chest as her hand was draped over his stomach. His right arm was behind her stroking her back softly and his left hand was holding the hand she had draped over his stomach. As he held her to him he kissed the top of her head and looked down at her.

"So...why don't you tell me a bit about you? Whatever you're comfortable in telling me that you haven't told me as of yet. In the order, we have a female elf whom looks a lot like you in a few ways. Her name is Asira. She's a sweet female, very kind to others and very talented in healing. She's healed me on more than one occasion when blood wasn't enough to close the wounds."

He said as he looked at her and wondered if she was related to Asira at all.
 
Rowena felt so very comfortable just being with Alex that she had to wonder if she was falling for him and if she was, would it end as badly as it had with her ex? Her inner voice was questioning everything that she was feeling for Alex and if it would last or if he would end up hurting her as much. She didn't want to believe that he would ever do that to her, after all he had done for her already. Bringing her to see his forest that made her feel so at home, the companion she received, and just the way he was so very gentle with her.

When he had actually said Asira it rang inside her head that at least her sister was doing well. It was so very like her to want to help others. Her eyes had widened at the name in obvious recognition.

"That would be my sister. She always was good at healing others and we were close before all that mess happened with my ex. I actually believed they were better off without me and it would seem Asira is doing well. I was actually a very happy little elf when I was younger, befriending every single animal and plant I came across. I was so very carefree and happy. My father and mother had been so much in love. When I was in my teen years, we lost my mother. None of us really knows what happened, not even the seer could tell us. We just found her body in the forest, lifeless. I believe we had something or someone hunting her. From then on we weren't allowed to go out into the forest alone, always taking someone with us. I'm not saying our lives were amazing and even with these bad moments, we still lived relatively happy lives. Yet, my father changed after the night with my ex that broke my heart. I know now that he was trying to help me out but it still wasn't the best way to go about it."

Her voice held joy at the moments she talked about happy moments and sadness when those moments arrived. Yet she was telling him how her life had moved through those changes. Now, was much better and she didn't want to live in the past anymore.
 
Upon hearing that Asira was her sister he smiled a bit and nodded as that was actually not really surprising. They had a lot in common and they both had their own little quirks. While Rowena hid from the world, for good reasons, Asira got involved with the Order but not with the rest of the world. However, she'd become very interested with the Vampire world, which had confused him simply because she asked a lot of questions about the feeding affects and a few other things.

She was also soon to be mated with a very good friend of Alex's. His name was Koda. He was a vampire who was about Alex's age.

"Would you care to see your sister and her soon to be mate? I have a feeling you'd be surprised who she's mating."
 
Rowena was rather surprised to hear that her sister was being mated to someone, although she shouldn't be as her sister was so very easy to get along with and she was so very sweet. Her sister was a truly amazing elf and she was actually surprised that it hadn't happened much sooner.

"So, who is she going to be mated to? I would suspect it would be another elf, she did get along with everyone so very well."

There was no way she would ever imagine her sister with a vampire, not after how things had affected Rowena and her sister had seen that. Asira knew how much that bastard had hurt her, it would be so very unusual for her to end up with someone knowing all of that. Yet it was so very strange that Rowena was with a vampire after all the pain she had endured, not to mention that she was falling for a vampire.

"You won't ever hurt me, will you?"

It came out of nowhere but she had just felt the need to ask it.
 
Alex smiled at her and shook his head when she asked if it was another elf. He chuckled a bit and pointed to his fangs.

"His name is Koda. He's about as old as me, a few decades younger but he's a very honorable male. He's a vampire and like me, he learned to speak to the trees and do many things and elf can do. They often times go on walks through my forest simply to spend time with one another away from the Order. She seems very happy with him, and he with her. She was a little shy with him at first but he's shown her a lot of things and..."

Alex laughed a bit as he shook his head.

"I do believe your sister is a bit...wild...at times. She's pulled him away from several training sessions to 'have lunch' or 'speak to him' which takes about an hour or so and he comes back smelling of her."

He said as he smiled but that smile quickly faded as she spoke and asked him if he wouldn't hurt her. Alex looked at her for a long moment then kissed her forehead and cupped her cheek.

"I would die before I hurt you Rowena."
 
Rowena was really truly shocked at hearing her sister was with a vampire but what truly surprised her was what her sister was doing with her mate. That Asira was actually taking time to truly get to know her mate, even obviously doing more than talking to him for an hour. She had questioned that but then she remembered what her and Alex had done, that told her it was absolutely possible.

Awaiting his answer to her rather random question that had come from her inner voice, was very nerve wracking. But then to hear his answer had her pretty much breathing easier. It was obvious she had truly wanted a very good answer, it was important to her to get a great answer from him.

"Thank you. I'm sure my sister has her wild moments, after all you've seen only part of how wild I can be and I'm older than her. Does she live near where you live or does she live somewhere else?"

Even though Rowena was older it didn't mean she didn't miss her sister, it had been far too many centuries since she had seen anyone she knew, let alone her family.
 
Alex smiled and kissed her lips as he held up his hand and the compass glowed once more. Soon a male vampire with blond hair and bright violet eyes showed up, a ghostly image of him anyways.

"Hey Alex...whoa. Who's she? She looks a hell of a lot like-"
"ROWENA! Koda, port me to Alex please."
"Um...okay."

Moments later Koda and Asira were standing right in front of her and Alex had to move fast as Asira all but tackled her sister and cried as she hugged her. Alex smiled as he shook Koda's hand and smiled as Koda looked a bit lost for a moment and Alex filled him in as the two sisters caught up and shared their moment together.

"This is Rowena, Asira's sister. I'm not going to go over all of it, but they haven't seen one another for a very long time."
"Ah. Well I'm glad you found her then."
"Honestly it was just by chance, and I didn't know she was Asira's sister."

Asira was holding Rowena in a bear hug, her face buried in her neck as she cried tears of joy and held her sister for the first time in far too long.
 
Rowena once again enjoyed the kiss he gave her as she did every single time he kissed her, he was so very amazing and she never understood how she could have lived without it or him. Then seeing him using his hand like before, once again another ghostly image of a person appeared. She didn't know who it was and then she heard her sister's voice.

Her eyes widened the moment her sister came barreling at her and it didn't stop her from hugging her sister back. More than a century of being away from her family really had made nights hard, hoping they were all fine and nothing bad had happened.

"Oh, my sweet little Asira has grown up and she has found a mate. A vampire no less. He better treat you right or else there will be hell to pay."
"Rowena, you don't have to be so overprotective of me, I've been in the Order long enough to know how to take care of myself. I'm just so glad to finally see you again."
"I'm sure you know how to handle everything but you know I had to worry over you. Although, I will say you look a bit different in a very subtle way though."

That was the moment Asira smiled so wide before she spoke again.
"I'm so glad you noticed. Koda hasn't noticed anything at all yet. Well, I guess I can't keep this wonderful news from you. I'm pregnant with Koda's wonderful baby!"
