He had no idea Lillian had lied to Dana and Fiona and so he just kept on talking. "I needed some time to myself, to think things through. I must have fallen asleep and my thoughts must have gone too far." He smiled at her. "But it's good to know you're still the same."
 
Lillian smiled at Joe and heard he was spilling the truth out. Dana looked over at the pair with Fiona waking up. Though Lillian laughed. "Darling...You were with the guys remember? You mentioned that you were worried about Malik being cooped up in the house. So I suggested we spend the night apart."

Joe was still for a moment, his head processing what Lillian had just said. he then stood up, forcing Lillian off his lap and into the water. "That bastard, Marcus!" Joe said. It had to be him, no other male had been so bold in front of Lillian and Joe. it was clear that Marcus was looking for a fight, and Joe would give it to him. He looked to Lillian. "You should have told me this before." His eyes blazed with rage. "No male touches my mate like that...and lives." He howled and transformed within the water.

"It's too late for that!" Joe shouted and jumped out of the hot spring. He took one long look at Lillian before getting on all fours and sprinting for the town.

Once he reached there he skidded to a halt and stood up. "Marcus!" He roared, looking around for the other male. "Marcus show yourself! NOW!" he roared again, howling his battle cry to the moon as he stood alone in the middle of town. Some of the other members of the pack opened their doors and windows to see him.
 
The pups were crying as the females looked at Joe and Marcus walked out smirking. "Let me guess, Lillian lied to you about last night?" He asked with him looking around. "I guess she's to ashamed to show herself. I guess it comes to an alpha who can't make up their fucking minds or regret what they did." He stared at Joe wondering if he'd actually reconsider what was being told. Shortly he saw Lillian approach the edge of town but she kept her distance.
 
Joe circled Marcus. "Lied? What do you mean she lied?" He snapped at the other male. "How do I know you're not lying...?" Joe believed Lillian would never lie to him.
 
Marcus smirked. "I saw her at the river side crying in the sand. I approached her with caution and I was worried about her. She looked upset about something so I held on to her then she kissed me." He said then looked to Lillian. "Isn't that right? Also didn't you allow me to grab your smooth pussy?"

"LIAR!" She yelled out at him as she was crying by now with Malik's new found love interest went to her holding on to her.

"Oh you're pissed that I rejected you because I respect Joe since he went through some tough stuff. Personally I think he should have stayed with the other alpha instead of you." Marcus said seeing her eyes flashing red. "Oh are you PMSing or pissed I called you out."
