"You're not going to be the only one." Joe said quietly, smiling at her. The air around them already smelled of their sex and musk. "Good." Joe sighed, looking at Lillian. "At least the child is safe. I didn't want to come back thinking that I had gone over there for nothing." he kissed Lillian cheek. "I knew you'd bring her back, you two were very close, weren't you?" He said softly. "I remember her crying until you picked her up. You calmed her down, Lillian...it's like the baby knew you had a large heart." Joe placed his hand on her chest, over her heart. "Well, I know you do, too." He smiled up at her.
 
Lillian smiled softly. "I think the child was wanting to be loved. Thats all anyone wants." She said with her kissing him gently. "We should head back." She said with her slowly getting her feet and walked to where her clothes were getting dressed. "I need a bath..Care to join me?" She asked with her bringing his own seet of clothes to him. "With Jason and his pack out of the way our lives are safe."
 
"Good." he said softly and put on his clothes. "Things changed since I was away, of course it has been way too long and I'm looking froward to being a proper alpha again." He said with confidence. Brittany had never let him do anything, he was just stuck in a haze of confusion.

Joe walked by Lillian's side into the town that was populated by their pack. He saw members he had grown up with, such as Dustin and Tyson. He saw Dana and even Fiona. but there were others too, new ones who hadn't been introduced to him yet. But they would be, in time.
 
Smiling over at him as she looped her arm around his own. Wakling with him into town and she was trying to walk normally but it was hard for her. "Ok I wished you didn't slip in there." She whispered to him with a giggle but she walked on ahead of him to the small house of theirs. Fiona and Dana were sitting with the young mothers with their pups. Some were oer achievers as one or two pup was struggling to crawl or sit up on their own. Rosie just stayed curled up in Fiona's lap watching the others playing.

Once in the house Lillian moved to the bathroom running the bath water. Bending over the edge of the tub she became to get undressed. Once she was naked she slipped into the hot bath water.
 
"Don't tell me you didn't like how I felt inside that hole." Joe smiled to her, slipping inside the bath with Lillian. He held her close for a moment and then let her go to wash herself clean. He expected her to be talking about the other pregnant mothers outside, but the smirk upon her lips implied something else. Something he wasn't exactly prepared for. Yet, Joe couldn't help but give her a small smile back. "Are you hiding something from me?"
 
Laughing as she sat up turning the shower off and let the tub fill with water. "I didn't have the device in last night." Once the tub was filled she sat there looking at him. Seeing he was between shocked and thinking it was a joke. "Darling, I'm joking. I'm not going to become pregnant. I found some journals before the mansion was burnt down. That flower wew use to mask a female's scent can be used as a herbal birth control. Not only I'm using it but a few other females are also to help test it out. I haven't been in heat for two months."

Smiling as she laid beside him. "So relax." She laughed softly with her kissing his cheek.
 
Joe sighed and closed his eyes. "You scared the hell out of me for a second. I didn't know what to think...or say." He said, grinning. He spoke of her name making her grit her teeth. Yeah, that was a name she wouldn't name a child but she looked up at him after finding her calming point. "Jason, the one who beat me. Yes, he was part of Marcus's pack and he seems trustworthy as he helped Dana when I wasn't around. He kept his men in line even if they didn't like Dana's leadership since that was a new role for her." Lillian said with her looking at him.

"From what I know that garage you found was their home at one time. The entire pack moved to this town, Jason corrupted some members and formed his own pack. Marcus moved the remaining pack back to the underground garage but when Jason fled the this town he didn't like knowing Marcus was still in control." Lillian filled him in on the story.
 
"And do you trust Marcus?" Joe asked, tucking a wet lock of Lillian's hair behind her ear. "I mean...does he have more wolves than out pack, if he wanted to overthrow us could he do it? I noticed a lot of our pack members are missing, do we still have enough power to stand our ground and hold this territory if another packs wants to move in?"
 
Lillian looked down when he mentioned members of their pak was missing. "If it wasn't for Marcus this pack would have been destroyed. From what I know the females fought hard and alot of them had fatal wounds their werewolf blood couldn't heal. Soyes we have more orphans but those like Fiona or who are mothers already are taking the children on. Bit more stress on them but they never regretted their choice." Lillian sat up looking at Joe.

"Marcus, is abit...rough but he's a gentlemen when the moment calls for it and he has more of his pack than ours. He got the rumor that our pack is determined and he wanted to be part of it. His pack knows if they step out of line they are open to be killed."
 
"Good." Joe said. before his arrival the pack would have been lead by female, but now he was back he had his love once again and had mated with her to prove they were together. Any bullshit Marcus and his pack were likely to cause wouldn't be tolerated by Joe. And he had the manpower to take care of it. He knew Malik was here, as well as Dustin and Tyson, so he had the backup he needed in case Marcus got out of hand.

Joe ran his finger between Lillian's breasts and locked eyes with her. "Maybe we should go and let everyone know we're back together again." he said confidently.
 
Lillian smiled as she leaned over him, kissing him. "Alright. Give me time to get dressed even if they are use to seeing me naked by now." She smirked with her getting out of the water. The marks he left were fading because of the water. Getting dried off she walked to their room as the blankets were hand made quilts. Getting dressed in her shorts and flannel shirt she pulled her long hair back. Once she was ready she walked out seeing the entire pack was working.

The women were working with infants hanging from a slung across their chests when they weeded the gardens and fields. Men were returning from a hunt and Marcus was carrying a large elk across his broad ebony shoulders. He smiled and tossed the large carcass at Lillian's feet. He could smell Joe's scent all over her but if their bond was shaken it can be destroyed.

"Got this male just for you, Darlin'." He grinned as he looked her over. "Like it better when you ran around naked. You got a nice tan from it." He winked at her making her laugh. He may be flirting but to her it was a simple comment.
 
"Good for you." Joe said to Marcus, crossing his strong arms across his chest. "Get it off the dirty ground and take it inside." Joe indicated the direction with a nudge of his head. Marcus was already pushing it, it was common knowledge that you never talk to your alpha female that way.

He walked with Lillian to the other females and watched some of the pups running around, playing with one another. He bent down and scooped one up gently. "They don't have a care in the world, nothing to worry their little minds." He said, smiling to Lillian.
 
Lillian looked between the two seeing Marcus bowing up she noticed the twitch in his jaw. "He's right Marcus. This elk is for the pack." She said as Joe pulled her along. True, Lillian brushed his flirting off as a comment but she didn't realize that to Joe he was pushing his luck to see what Joe would do if he made a move on her.

Lillian stood there watching as Joe picked a pup up who had tackled another one. Watching him seeing he held it gently. "Are you sure you're not ready for pups of your own?" She teased him as the pup growled playfully and bit at Joe's shirt to explore the shirt's texture.
 
"Give me some more time with these ones, maybe they'll change my mind." He said, moving over to Lillian and handing her the pup he was holding. He kissed her cheek, "How about you, do you want children of your own?"

The pups had taken his mind off Marcus' move on Lillian. He waited, knowing that the man would try another one.
 
Lillian nuzzled the pup who giggled. "I would like one atleast. I don't know when though." She admitted to him before she put the pup baack in the play pen with the others. She looked at Joe seeing his posture was odd.

"Joe wha-!" She cried out as was water was sprayed at her ass. In wet shorts she turned seeing Fiona and Dana standing side by side with innocent looks. "Oh you're in trouble." She charged the two and pounced on them. The three was wrestling as it seemed the pack being together bring in new life. Off to the side Marcus and two of his men stood watching the girls having fun. Though Marcus was silent with no expression while the other two smirked and nudged eachother.
 
Joe laughed out loud to see Lillian's face when she got sprayed. He laughed even harder to see Lillian tackle the other two to the floor. He moved to their side and watched the girls wrestling. "You guys shouldn't do that to your alpha!" he said lifting Dana and Fiona up in each hand and putting them both over his shoulders. However he picked up the hose and sprayed Lillian's shirt. "There." he looked up at Dana. "Isn't that better?"
