Xavier spoke then, hoping to bring Volke to the present without a freakout. "Hey, it's over, it'll be okay. You're alive, and you made sure that they will never do that again." He said to Volke in a calm voice. (Diplomacy 26)

Volke lashes out with her fist at Allen, catching him in the gut. (Rolled a natural 20 on an unarmed strike. ^.^;; 4 damage. subdual right?)
Xaver's voice caused Volke to calm a little, still visibly afraid and struggling, but not nearly so violently.

He winced and walked away, not saying a word, but lightly clutching his stomach.

Xavier slowly and calmly puts his hand on Volke's shoulder. "I don't know what you went through, so I can't say that I've felt the same. But we've all gone through traumas, and we've all healed with time. So please, remember that it _will_ get better. And..." Xavier smiles sheepishly here. "I'd appreciate it if you apologize to Allen. He was only trying to help."
(Diplomacy 23)

Volke shudders a few more times, mind still foggy with the past. She nods to let Xavier know she heard him... then tries to follow after Allen. (Due to downed mental coordination and fatigue status, must make balance check. rolled a 4 on balance) However, her knees give out right as she's about to pass Allison.

Allison saw Volke punch Allen and gave a slight chuckle. Then she stepped toward Volke, staying out of arms reach at the moment, but trying to provide moral support.

As volke's knees started giving out she stepped up and moved to catch her.

He went into an empty room, trying to relax and blow off steam. "Am I that horrible to her?" He sighed and leaned against the wall, sliding down. He looked at the door and debated trying to lock or jam the door.

Volke, caught in Allison's arms, stayed still for a moment, head hung low and silent tears down her face.
After a few seconds, she asks Allison to help her apologize to Allen, as she couldn't walk yet. Her voice was... vunerable.

Allison supported Volke on her shoulders and led her in the direction Allen had gone. "Allen, Volke needs to say something." She called out for him.

"In here..." He called out, his voice just loud enough, having not locked the door yet, and he opened the door for them.

Volke looked around and saw Allen. She sighed. This was going to be rough on her psyche...
"I'm sorry," she says abruptly. "For hurting you. You just..." She turns her face away from him, unable to look him in the eye.
Her eyes sad, she hesitantly spoke. "You look like Kashim. ... My little brother."

"I'm fine.. And that'll change if I ever change back." He took out his book and showed her the picture, pointing to himself. "That's what I used to look like... Sorry I've caused you so much pain..." He looked down.

".... I'm used to pain. ... ..... You know... Kashim... said sorry a lot too. I'd have to hit him sometimes, because he was weak-willed on his own. We... we almost made it through The Training together...." She said.

Xavier quietly watches, hoping they'll all heal a little more. He was probably the best adjusted of this group mentally. A sad state of affairs considering he'd killed his own brother.

Allison let Volke and Allen try to work out their issues together. She was thinking about what she had said, and what the others had as well.

He nodded and looked away. "I see.." He spoke shakily, putting two and together. "Perhaps.. I should stay away after this mission.. I refuse to knowingly hurt you..." He stated softly, unsure if he should leave or stand his ground.

"...." Volke takes out Hades, extends the tassel, and raps Allen over the head with it. (the tassel, not the gun) "You're an idiot. Exactly the same as Kashim. You go alone, you'll die."
Volke never was very good at giving compliments or comfort.

He winces, losing control for a moment, shifting, but stopping right before he struck, jumping back. "P-please stop that..." He stammered, his voice distorted, eyes a blood red.

Allison nods, agreeing with Volke's sentiments if not his words. "We work as a team, we survive as a team. You're part of that team even if you don't like it. So stay and help."

He sighed, his form not reverted. "I can only do so much without losing it... If and when MIST figures out I can do this... What do you think they'll do to me? They spent weeks upon weeks stabbing me, injecting with weird fluids me to see how I ticked.."

"This... This form could be my life line to saving Luna. You understand, right?"

"No they wouldn't," Volke claims forcefully. "I'll kill them if they try. ... Besides, they owe me."
Volke thinks for a moment... "No, I don't understand at all. ... But that's not my problem."
