Not knowing that Ren was doing it on purpose, Aesha went cheeks went a deep crimson red as Ren called her ‘sexy and cute.’ She squeezed on his neck a bit from behind with her arms, while faking an angry glare at him which lacked credibility due to it’s weakness and red tinge. “You’re stupid” she mumbled back sounding a bit grumpy, seeming to be a bit upset for a moment, but quickly nulling that possibility that bring her head up to Ren’s neck and nuzzling her face into it affectionately. Had Hito been around she would have acted completely differently, but seeing as how the younger brother was still nowhere to be seen, she figured she’d act a tad bit honestly until they had company.
Having never been in a house beside her own, her golden eyes wandered around curiously, noting simple insignificant things that normal people wouldn’t bother noting. Not knowing what else to do, she was planning to just stand still like a manakin only to flinch noticeably when Ren yelled out for his younger brother. She didn’t dread meeting Ren’s family, but she really wished he hadn’t gone out of his way to introduce them. Forced introductions were always hard, especially since Aesha had so little experience introducing herself, and talking to people she’d never met before. She’d been hoping she’d just be able to float by and throw a casual hello at Hito, but, apparently that wasn’t going to happen.
“I’m fine… I think” she responded, a bit uncertain as the stairs seemed unnecessarily high. Walking had been a pain for her, so despite her attempt to seem capable, her voice waver a bit.
Glancing up the stairs once more, she nearly tripped backwards when she noticed someone that looked awfully like Ren looking down at her. His expression unreadable, his words were also sort of vague in regards to his opinions, neither welcoming or objecting. What surprised her most though was the lack of ears…. Well he had human ears, but that wasn’t the point. “Uh… Umm Hi?” she responded smiling awkwardly, not entirely sure how to react to a human boy her own age. She’d been bullied by older boys before, but boys her own age often tended to just ignore her. And while she could have imagined it, she thought she recognized a familiar cold glint in Hito’s eyes. Suddenly a bit scared, she grabbed on to the side of Ren’s shirt, shuffling half her body behind Ren, holding herself close to him hoping it’d calm her sudden fear of the strange boy.
