A Dragonic Guardian(xWickedBlackLace)

Xaid couldn't believe his master would actually pass up a chance to bond with his dragon. his shy nature reminded him of his brother Cadence's boyfriend and master Arion. "Once a connection established, I'm not sure you realize how terribly negative it would effect either of us to be physically apart. "

Strong hands slid down to Andol's hips, pulling him to his stable chest and engulfing him with his arms. " Don't tell me you'd much rather return to a life of unknowns rather than be nearest your protector and guardian." H sighed a bit. "My mother is the Black Dragon Mistress. Not just of my father....but more of a guidence to the other masters and mistresses. We will speak with her... but for now,' Xadrien laid Andol down on his own massive and comfrotable bed. He climbed into bed with him, curling around him and pulling him into a spooning position. "You rest." He took a moment to marvel in the fact that his new master alreay was wearing his clothes and amelling like him.

Andol looked in the dragon's eyes as that feel of disbelief would just not seem to go away. It was a feeling a happiness, becuase he knew that he had finally found himself a home again, after all of these years of being alone, he now finally had a home. He sreached the dragons eyes when the larger male spoke, wacthing to see any hint of lying in the dragons voice. He did not want to force himself on the dragon. It was not want that he did not want to be with his new protecter and guardian, it was more that Andol did not want Xaid to be unhappy. Yet form what he saw in the dragons eyes and heard in larger male's words, just being apart would be a very bad expriance for both of them.

Before he had time to respond though he found himself being pulled back into those strong arms that he had now started to enjoy being held by. He felt the other holding him close, and Andol took a very soft sniff of that spicy scent that the dragon gave off. It smelled so good, though he wondered where it came form. He nuzzled his head into the larger male's chest and it became quite obvious that the human was quite happy like this. He had been on the move so long, and it had been what seemed like a lifetime, sinice he had felt this safe. No.... he had never felt this safe. It was as though nothing could touch him, as long as Xaid held onto him, then he didn't have anything to be afraid of. He wondered if that is what it normally felt like for a master to be near there dragon, becuase if it was... well he could diffently get used to this.

"No Xaid I would much rather stay here with you." He just hoped that the dragon actully wanted him here. He really did not want any affections felt bettewen them to just be a oneway thing. He hoped that maybe he would grow on Xaid and maybe the dragon would like him. Andol was not really sure of Xaid's opintion on it, sense the dragon had somtimes shown annoyance and others showed happiness. He was not sure of which it really was. He turned his head to look up at the dragon as he was explained what they would do, "That sounds find with me, I am still a little confused about all this." It was more that he was surpirsed, and not that he was confused.

The suddeness though in changing form standing there in the dragon's arms to laying on the bed, threw him off a bit. He found himself to be going all over the place, and most of the time he did not have to do anything to get there. He was happy for it now becuase he was weak, but he hoped that Xaid would not do it all the time. Yet when Xaid crawled into the bed with him and they where cuddled up together Andol let out a soft and happy sigh. He had been a little supirsed when the larger male had pulled him close like this, but he found himself enjoying it. He scooted back into the larger male which caused his butt to rub aginst Xaid's crotch. Wethier or not Andol did this on purpose was not evident, because it did not take the young man long to fall asleep as his breathing soon slowed down, and he drifted off asleep.

Xadrien played indolently with Andol's hair, everything from his physical presence down to his energy being put into protecting his substantially younger master. It was quiet, even outside, which for east Arrex was an extremely massive change. Normally the streets filled with a cacophany of violence and beatings of treason. Anybody who disobeyed Caidren was at the mercy of the Draconic Army. The palace was surrounded by both land and gardens so large you could hear nothing beyond territory lines. It was nice, and gave the illusion that the land Xadrien lived in was actually quite peaceful.
In the comforting silence of the room, Xadrien’s breathing was steady. Andol’s energy gave off something of peace and serenity, a calmness that he hadn’t even felt with his previous mistresses. This felt right, yes, everything else before this even just seemed to pale in comparison to just a few moments with this new master of his. It was all just very hard for Xadrien to admit, because letting somebody this close to him again was supposed to be so very hard. But Andol made it so very easy.
As the boy shifted, Xadrien hadn’t expected it and his body began to react. Seeing as he had tons of sex before, and never with a male, it surprised him greatly. He closed his eyes, resting his face at crook of his neck between his shoulder. Though his lungs were large and to breathe meant a large movement in the way his chest rose and fell, the breath from his lips was very soft and saited. Andol had tamed a beast so to speak. Xadrien’s hands slid once more to Andol’s hips, moving him a bit closer to his chest, trying to shift the tighness in his pants to the opposite direction. He really didn’t want to disturb the boys sleep. For certain, he wouldn’t be catching any sleep himself. He simply laid there, watching over him…complacent of his life’s change as Andol slept, wondering how this was all going to pan out. Especially with his father. A pit in his stomach told him that the family dinner was going to be a disaster.

((Note, he’s the product of my character Tessa and a friend’s character Caidren…therefore you won’t be meeting Xaid’s daddy…but he’s going to have a lot to do with Xadrien’s inner conflicts. ))

(Awww... that sucks, but then how is the family dinner going to be a disaster. :( or is somthing else going to happen, becuase I like drama.)

Peace... that was the only word that Andol could use to discribe that moment right before he let sleep take him. It was completely and utterly peaceful. It was a sense of calm that he had never felt before, as though he knew what was going to happen next. As though everything would just keep going the way it had, and never ever would he have to worry about anything again. His life, was now this. Just him and his new dragon Xaid. Somthing told him that this was where he was ment to be, as though all the suffering and the things that happened before where just there so that this moment could be that much sweeter. If that was the case, then Andol was diffently satisfied.

In his dreams it was quite a platonic landscape that was bettewen him and Xaid. It was not that the young man did not find the dragon pyshcially attrative, but simply that he had been at such peace before he went to sleep, and so tried, that lust had been the last thing on his mind. He couldn't have had a dream like that even if he wanted to. So he was happy with this, moment in one of the gardens outside. Xaid was in his dragon form and Andol was laying against him as they both looked up at the clouds and jokingly told each other what they looked like. It was a good dream, which was somthing that had not had in a long time.

After a couple of hours though Andol could feel himself being pulled out of the dreamland that he was in, and Xaid would be able to feel the young man stiring against him. The humans eyes slowly began to open as he could feel that he had more energy in his body than before. The rest had diffent done the trick. The world was very softly coming into focus, yet there was only one thing on his mind, "Xaid, where are you?"

((Linden, his brother, is a carbon copy of Caidren. Alot of drama will ensue. That family is filled with completely diverse personalities. He's got 16 siblings, all of which have become well rounded characters of mine. haha. Linden and Xaid have the same goal, and this is going to give Linden the upperhand. ))

Throughout the course of their relationship, Andol would find that dream becomming more and more of a reality. They would grow close. Xadrien would be his best friend, guardian, and lover if allowed. A low rumble emerged from deep within the dragon's chest. He pulled him a bit closer, a gently tug to let him know that he was there and still holding him. "Closer than you know. Did you rest well, ma patite?" A strong hand reached for Andol's, lacing their fingers together for what Xadrien realized was the first time. While his younger master was sleeping, all he'd been doing was mentally preparing himself for dinner. It didn't seem like it would be very time consuming, but Xadrien quickly found out that there wasn't enough time to think about it.

"It's almost time for dinner. I'd like to meet with my mother beforehand, without my siblings for an audience if you don't mind accompanying me."

Tessa probably already sensed her son and dragon's distress. She loved all of her children and served as sort of a maiden/mother/crone. She was a goddess, residing in her own palace on the moon so their journey would bring them well past the clouds. Since breathing would be an issue for Andol, Xadrien would have to use transportation magick to get them there.

Andol softly smiled as he felt himself being pulled close to the dragon, whose breathing had become evident on his back. The steady pattern which was followed by a soft rumble, only relaxed the normally nervous Andol. This was somthing that was normally very hard to do, but the larger male seemed to be able to do it in spades. Why it was that the dragon could do this to Andol was quite obvious, yet Xaid was second guy who ever gave Andol such a sense of ease. The first one..... Andol shivered with the thought, which Xaid would be able to feel the young man do in his arms. Andol did his best to quickly as he could to put those memories out of his mind, but with as close as he was to Xaid and through there bond, the dragon should be able to feel the moment of panic that did not show on the young man's face.

He let himself relax as he just listined to the steady breathing, and those strong fingers clasped his more lithe ones. The grip was so reasurring, that Andol let out a soft sigh of happiness. He still could not believe the turn his life had taken in one single day. Going form the bottom of the cliff to being flown into the sky... on dragons wings, "It was amazing, though having you hold me made it prefect." He knew that much for a fact.. it had been so long sense he had had someone hold him like that, that he had almost forgotten what it felt like. It felt good, "We will be sleeping together every night.. won't we?" Andol tried to mean this in as platonic of a manner that he could. Usally somthing like that might evolve into somthing more, but that was not what Andol was asking for in that question.

The young man sat up in bed gently the larger male began to talk about meeting his mother, as Andol began to wonder what she was like. He hoped that he would not cause any family problems becuase he was now Xaid's master. Andol was quite an intellagent human, and he figured that just by him being master to Xaid could put Xaid in a bad spot, becuase people would think anything Xaid wanted, could have come form him. Andol did not know anything else than that inferance, but he hoped that he was wrong, and the dragons would be able to tell that he would never do such a thing, " That is fine with me Xaid, I would love to meet your mother, but I am not really sure where we are going so you will have to show." He looked into the dragons eyes, as he waited.

Xaid retorted, easily offended by those he cared about. "Does the idea of sleeping in the same bed as me repulse you? If that's the case I can give you your own chambers."

He was beginning to get the impression that Andol was interested in only a platonic master/dragon relationship with Xadrien. That distressed him quite a bit, but it didn't matter as long as he fulfilled his own role as his protector. "I'd like to have you by my side to assure you a peaceful rest. When I sleep for real I have to use my dragon form. My real bedroom is actually a hot chamber filled with piles and piles of heated gold." And oh, dragons loved gold and riches. They also loved affection...being rubbed and doted on and such.

He gestured to the dresser and shook his head. "You can change into the clothes I had brought up for you of your size. I can expect you to be drowning in my shirts forever. Perhaps I can send you out shopping with my gay brothers Adrian and Audren. They get the jollies out of this sort of thing."

(I hope I have not made any mistakes about there relationship DX.... oh and sorry I did not put anything about the last part of your post in mind... I thought that doing so would ruin the moment. ;-) )

An soft look of alarm seemed to cross the humans face as he felt like that his words had been mistaken. There was nothing that he had ever enjoyed more than having the dragon sleeping next to him, and there was nothing that he wanted more than to sleep in the bed with the dragon. When he actully thought about it, there was much more than that he wanted for the dragon. Yet his shy nature is what kept him form asking for that, he was just not used to showing his feelings and opening up, but he felt like for the first time that he could open up to someone. He knew that he could open up to Xain and not be hurt, "No that is not what I meant by that Xain... I was asking to be sure that you would sleep with me... I have never been happy or felt safer in my life than having you sleep with me." Andol was not to good with words somtimes so he just put it the best way that he could.

The human realized that the entire time that he was here, that the larger male had done nothing, but rain affection down on him, but he had done little to return it. Well at least he thought that he had. He reached out softly and took the dragon's hand in his own for a moment, as he lifted it up and simply nuzzled his cheek into it for a moment... all he felt at that moment was like he had slipped right into another world. He grew very calm, but also very loving. Andol was not really sure exactlly how to express what he felt at that moment, but he did want to get across to Xain... I want more form you than just being my guardian.

((Xaid is extremely sensitive. ))

Xadrien frowned deeply and shook his head. His own pride and arrogance got in the way of a simple sweet moment sometime. It was something he needed to work on. When he loved something he lived it, breathed it, obsessed over it.

"Hm. I know you wouldn't mean any harm. But let me tell you one thing, Andol." he began, moving closer. The spicy scent of him drew nearer. Xadrien didn't look angry, as much as he wanted to try. His features were soft, complex and worried... the words about to follow did not seem to be so sweet. "I'm going to make a prediction for you that, if you don't like, you can just get the fuck out while you can."

He paused and took a moment to recollect himself for the sentence he was about to continue. "I'm going to fall in love with you. You are sweet. Innocent, endearing. And best of all, you don't even fucking know the effect you have on me. So you can't use it against me. You wouldn't use it against me. You are perfect."

He grunted, obviously those words were not meant to be met with a reply. He didn't want to hear a reply...this shit scared him as it was. Xaid hated being scared.

"Now. Get dressed?" It was a request this time. A change to the way he spoke to Andol before they found out that he was his master. "My mother will help you understand much better than I can."

Andol did not let himself move his head back as the other came closer, becuase he knew that to do so would result in an emotional deliema for the both of them, so he did not lean his head back and just kept staring right into the eyes of the larger male. Even when the other drew close egough so that Andol, could smell that scent that he enjoyed so very much. His mind raced with what it was that the dragon could possiably say to him. He had thing about being able to read peoples emotions pretty well, but it seemed that at this moment the dragon was such a confused mix of them, that Andol could not pick out which one that it was, so he diecded to quit trying.

As the dragon spoke though, it moved through Andol's heart like a cool stream that almost wanted to make him cry tears of happiness. He thought or felt that one had slipped out, and he hoped that Xaid did not noticed or at least would not say anything. No one had ever spoken to him in that kind of a manner. No one had ever once said such kind and sweet things to him, even if the tone in which the dragon had spoken had tried to not mean for them to be, in Andol's mind they where. It was sweetest thing he had ever heard, and it felt like to him like he finally had someone who desired him.... alot. Even if the dragon had not been trying to woe Andol, the larger male had succeded with flying colors.

The young man picked up very easily on the fact that this was not somthing that he was suppossed to reply to, and so he just stood up softly and slipped off the bed and looked, back at Xain saying, "I will be dressed as quick as I can. Then we can go see your mother." Andol was not 100% sure that not reply to what the larger male had said was the right thing, but if it was not then Andol would do everything in his power to try and show Xain what those words had meant to him. Becuase that was the first time that he had ever heard words like that, and they where not covered up... by lies.

He went over to the dresser and quickly found the outfit that the larger male had spoken of and and picked it up and carried it into the bathroom and shut the door. He came out about 10 mintues later with the outfit on and his hair nice and combed. It was no longer the messed up way it had been, but instead hung down to his shoulders, but that would not last for long, "Alright Xian I am read when you are."

As Andol drew closer, Xadrien's arms were waiting for him once again and pulled him safely into his embrace. It was as though Andol's body was a key specifically designed to fit the space between his arms.

"Alright." he whispered into his hair. "I need to teleport you to the moon kingdome. Are you ready?"

Before Xadrien heard a reply, they had vanished. Blackness flickered briefly and suddenly they were in the midst of a beautiful garden. They had landed in front of Tessa's fountain, they very fountain Xadrien had broken so many times trying to bathe in. The adventures had also cost his mother the magick fish inside. He didn't mean to destroy her property, he was just very big. Flowers bloomed all over the garden, creating strategic paths and vines entwining together to make beautiful patterns and colors. The palace was a white color with gold and burgandy detailing, of a beautiful almost Victorian style. Two large glass doors waited at the end of the garden to welcome them in. Mother was probably in her conference chambers. Unlike Caidren, Tessa did not have slaves. She didn't believe in them. There was a genuine serenity over the place.

"My siblings aren't here yet." he spoke as he held the door open for Andol. "Don't be intimidated by them, as they might try when they get here. My mother is very approachable. Don't hessitate to ask her questions, alright?"

The inside of the palace gave a view of the grand stairs...it took up most of the space and the view as it spiraled upwards.

Andol walked trustingly into the dragon's embrace, becuase he knew that there was no where else he would rather be. This time unlike the others, Andol returned the hug with one of his own, as he held on too. Yet his was not as emcompassing as the larger male's. Before he knew it though he heard the word 'telaport' and his eyes grew wide, before he could even say anything, he felt a sense of being snacthed through the air as blackness appered all around them. Which caused the young man to grip the dragon in what could be called a 'death grip of fear'. It was just that it had suprised him and he had not been ready for what was going to happen so he had just tightened his hold instictivly.

Yet when they arrived the young man found himself surronded by completely splendor. He had never seen such beatiful surrondings. His eyes where wide with a sense of wonder that one might think of when they saw a kid in a candy shop. His large eyes where traveling in every direction trying to take in all of the sights around him, and his mind raced on how possiably romantic this place could be, "Wow... it is so pretty." His voice spoke with that breathless sense of wonder that was written all over his face. He had never been near such riches, and Xaid's home had not been like this.

He walked foward next to Xiad, as the dragon held the door open he lisitened carefully as he took note of the nature of his siblings. Well not being intimidated... that wouldn't be that hard. Andol was rarely intimidated and though he did become afraid, most of the time he was able to control that fear, "Don't worry about it Xaid I don't think that will be a problem." As for his mother though, "I won't Xaid, she sounds nice." He could tell just by looking at the home in which she lived. He found it very unlikly that anyone who was not a calm and good person could live in a home like this, plus there was the fact that he trusted Xaid to tell him the truth. That counted more than anything.

Xadrien supposed it helped in the fact that he was physically incapable of lying to Andol. A grin took his face when Andol gripped him tightly, loving the touch...loving to be relied on.

It wasn't a few moments after Andol's last words before a beautiful dark sillhouette descended the stair well. Tristessa Aureous carried herself with a pride, her beautiful pale lips peaceful and relaxed. Her skin was moonlight pale, but not sickeningly so, which was different from the slight darkness in the skin of all of her children. Her eyes were a hematite color, black with a hint of grey shine and a small blue-grey starburst around the pupil. The blue in her eyes was expressive and when she was upset or worried it got larger. Her lovely body was adorned in a flowy black dress tight to her curves. Her hips and thighs accentuated beautifully. Long black hair was worn in loose curls around her shoulders. All of her facial features were soft and feminine.

"Xadrien!" he voice rang, excited to see her oldest boy. She sped up her pace and ran over to him, immediately giving him a hug. She stood at only 5'2, and he towered over her by over a foot, his body SUBSTANTIALLY wider. It was sort of awkward how he was her child.

Xadrien hugged her back and kissed her cheek. "Mother." He drew back a bit and put his hand on the small of Andol's back. "This is Andol. Andol, this is my mother, Tessa."

Tessa turned her gaze towards Andol, taking his hands in hers. Her energy was warm, her skin baby soft. "Andol. You can call me Tess." she smiled. "It's nice to meet you! I've never seen you around here before, are you a new friend of Xaid's?"

Then she took a moment to realize the magickal ties between the two. You would never know she took note of it because her facial expression didn't change. She didn't want to be rude. While she thought it was adorable, she knew what this meant for Xadrien. Him, his father, and Linden, had persecuted so many people for being gay it could pose a problem or even rioting.

Andol eye quickly noticed the figure that was desending his the stairs. All he could do was to stare, but the major though in his mind was, 'I see where Xaid gets his good looks." Not only that, she was also probably more well dressed then anyone that he ahd ever seen before. Well except for the human royalty. That had only been on a few occasion's, but none of them seem to be able to pull off the look of rich femaine beauty, more than Xaid's mother was doing at this moment. It was all together somthing that had kept Andol in constant amazment, sinice he had gotten to the place. Everything here was extrodinarly pretty, even Xaid's mom was pretty. He was not really sure what to say, but he had a feeling that he would be seeing a lot more of this type of splendor, now that he was Xaid's master.

His mind snapped out of his daze when Xaid's mother finally spoke, and moved quickly towards the both of them. His shy nature, created a sense of nervousness in him. Yet oddly egough, it seemed to dissaper just as quickly as it had come. That was odd, Andol not normally this calm when he had met new people during his lone wandering. He figured that is was becuase Xaid was with him now. Like have the dragon close gave him a certian sense of confidice that he had never really had before. As the young man wacthed the moment bettewen mother and son, it made him think of his own mother, back before she was killed. He let out a soft sigh and when he felt the dragon's hand on his back. It gave him a sense of comfornt, more than Xaid would ever know.

Shifting his mind back to the present the moment before he was introduced, almost caught him off gaurd, but he had kept himself thinking about what was going on around him that it would not really be noticed. His dark eyes stared into those of the female dragon, and the warmth tht he saw there was diffently the kind that only a mother could have. It gave him a great sense of peace, "Well it is nice to meet you too." Andol was never good with greetings. That same sense of warmth that was in her eyes could also be felt by him when she took his hands in her own, plus they where surprisingly soft. A sheepish smile crossed his face as he ran one of is hands nervously through his hair, "Well I guess you could say that." Andol really did not want to be called, 'Xaid's master'. There pently of other terms he would rather have used.

((Haha, you know Tess isn't a dragon herself right? She's just a mistress of them.))

Now her facial expression twisted into something of a worrisome frown. "I see..." She kept eye contact with Andol. You didn't have to be a goddess to know Andol was extremely new to the situation and very nervous. "How are you feeling about all this?" Slowly she let go of Andol's hands to fold her hands over her very large chest.

Before they got deeper into the conversation, she took Andol gently by the hand and led him to the kitchen where she would serve him so tea to relax by. Xadrien trailed behind them, not particularly liking to be the one left out. "Sometimes these things happen you know? But more often than not its the best thing for you." She sat him down and put a pot of water on the stove. She set some tea cookies on the table. Tessa began to wonder if they'd made love yet. Or ever would. She giggled to herself. She wanted to ask, but refrained from such an inappropriate question. She wondered because Xadrien was amongst her straightest sons. This had to be throwing her baby off.

And indeed it was. Xadrien was perplexed by the feelings harboring in his chest. Even as Andol walked in front of him he felt his body tense up, on edge about the fact that he couldn't just put him in a bubble and keep him safe and carry him around forever. The dragon grunted at this thought. He kept forgetting Andol was a male. I suppose it was true what Adrian always said. You couldn't put a gender on destiny and love.

(Oh sorry XD Is she like a human? Or what? )

Andol could read the worried expression on Tessa's face, yet he found it a completely understandable one, becuase it was full of the emotions that Andol kept buried down inside. Even though he liked this turn of events, and was happy about them. There was still a bit of fear that came with it. He was not sure why, but he was just scared. The emotions that he felt on the inside where not as confusing to him as they might have been for Xaid. Yet there was still that sense of fear, when one stepped out into the unknown such as he had done now. This was going to be a differnt life than what he had lived before. He poked his two pointer fingers together nervously after she had let go of his hand, "Well, I would have to say that I feel happy about it... really happy, it is a night and day differance. Yet I also feel scared, sinice this is all just so new and so sudden."

When she took him by the hand to lead him to the kicthen, Andol followed, gald for the respite so he could collect his thoughts for the continuing conversation. If there was one thing that could be said about Andol, he knew how to chose his words carefully, well.... most of the time anyway. Her statment could summed the sitution better than anything else that had been said, "Yes to that I agree." His statment was less nervous as he sat down. Andol usally became less nervous over time. He just had to get used to a person, luckily this usally did not take that long, "Destiny somtimes knows what is better for us, than we do." At least that was the way that the young man felt about this situation. He was not really sure if what Tessa, said was somthing that he was supposed to reply to, but he had done so anyway.

For a moment he looked back over shoulder to where Xaid was, and softly smiled in the direction of the other male. Andol was not purposful trying to mess with Xaid, all it was , was a simple smile to express his happiness about the dragon being there with him. Andol turned back around to look foward. He did not really know of the swirling of emotions that went on in the dragons head. Funny thing was that Andol had not really picked up on the fact the larger male was supposed to be stright. Everything else had pointed to him to believe that the dragon was just as gay as he was.

Xadrien grunted as the smile his master shot him sent a warmth through his veins. It pulsed through him, to his inner core. As if Andol's gaze was nourishment, food and drink and everything he needed to survive. It was all Xadrien really needed to be happy. When Andol was sat at the table by his mother, he went up behind his newly aquired master and began giving his shoulders a light rub. Temporarily he removed one hand to steal a cookie his mother had set down. She smacked his hand away with a spatula.

"Xaid. Those are tea cookies. You hate tea cookies." She pointed the spatula in the direction of the chocolate chip cookies she had just set down. "Those ones are yours."

With another stubborn grunt he began eating the chocolate chip cookies. The Blacks were suckers for chocolate.

Tessa beamed at Andol's words. "You are absolutely right, Andol. Xadrien can learn a thing or two from you." She offered a warm smile. "Do you have any questions about the connection at all?"

Andol could fell Xain moving up behind him. He did not know where it came form, but it was just a felling that someone was there. Then the relaxing felling of the dragons hands resting on his shoulders as they where rubbed, made Andol let out a pleasured sigh. Xaid was not the only one who enjoyed being rubbed. He giggled a little at the reprimand that was handed down to the larger dragon by Tess. He just found it so... cute. That was really all he had to discribe it. By now Andol also was starting to eat the cookies too, which made him feel better, sinice he was still trying to gain more and more energy back. He rested one of his hands on the shoulder that was oppisate to it, so that it was resting right on top of Xaid's. Just the skin to skin contact with the larger male made him feel... safe...secure... and happy.

Andol looked over at her curiously for a moment, and then it became obvious that the young man was thinking for a moment as he shifted his feet so that he could sit in the chair indian style. Even if the chair did not exactly fit that mode of sitting, it did not really bother Andol. It helped him think better if he did this. He had for the most part found the connection to be a self explianatory thing, but there where some things that he was unsure about, "How strong is the connection exactlly? I mean, do we share each others pain, each others pleasure? How deeply connected are our thoughts? Will it grow over time, or does it stay the same?" He then paused for moment as though he was hesitent on asking the next question, becuase in a way he was, "Does one of our deaths cause the death of the other?"

Thoughout Andol's asking of questions he had done his best to make sure that his tone was correct, and that he choose his words carefully. He did not want to upset Xaid. In truth Andol wanted her to yes to almost all of them, and in a mor morbid sense, he was hoping for a yes to the last one also. He did not want Xain to think that he did not care, it was simply that he was very curious about this connection they had.

Tessa smiled at their display of affection. She was in awe, really. Never in a million years would she thought to be seeing her oldest sond participating in a display of affection to another male. But she was feeling Xaid's genuinely comforted energy and it made her happy.

"You indeed share in each other's pain. If you aren't around, he'll know when you are distressed or upset or even in danger. Especially in danger. And over time you'll realize that there is a telepathic connection that you can learn how to open between you two. Since your human it may be slightly harder, but i can get you together with somebody that will train you, or even myself, if you'd like."

It wasn't long before she set an empty cup down in front of Andol. She poured him a cup of hot tea of the healing sort. It would most definitely help him with his energy.

"It's not so much that your thoughts are connected through a psychic path persay. Yes, you can open connectiong and communicate with Xadrien, but when it comes to reading his mind...you'll be able to grow together and read his body language. Based on his energy you'll be able to tell what's in his mind exactly. It will wow you, really. You'll know him perhaps better than you know yourself. He'll know you just the same."

She took a sip of her own tea then paused to think for a moment. "And if you Die, Andol...he will. But if he dies you'll be okay. I don't think you have to worry about that though." She reached up and rubbed her sons broad shoulder. He was so large compared to her. "Xadrien is a tough one."

Andol looked at Tess and nodded his head as he understood, but there was also somthing else there in his expression. It was quite obvious that there a small lighting up of the young man's face, even more than there was before. The was simply that Andol was fully understand just how deep this bond would go. The very fact that they where so close to each other, ment that that they could be closer than any two humans could ever be. In his mind this fact was just so romantic.... He would share everything with Xain and Xain would share everything with him. He did not see how it could get even more amazing than that. The chance to make that bond even stronger was not somthing that he was going to pass up, "I think I would like that, whenever you find someone who has the time." The human did not want to impose on anyone.

He reached out and took hold of the cup and held it in his hands as he slowly took a few sips of it, the rejuvenating energy began to spread through every part of his body. The feeling that he got form slowly drinking this tea, seemed to be better than when he had woken up form sleeping. He wondered what was in it, "What's in the tea? It is wonderful." Yet he found it odd how randomly he had put that in there when there was obviously some more things that he wanted to say, but he thought that it would be polite to let Tess know that he enjoyed her tea.

When she mentioned though what would happen to if they died, the young man's face sort of frowned for a moment. If Xaid died then he wouldn't.... that did not seem fair, he said somthing that sounded like he was speaking his mind, and if it came out morbid, he really did not mean for it to be that way, "I don't think I would want to live much longer if he died." For some reason it was as though Xain filled in a spot that he had not even known was missing, and to have the dragon die, would just tear the sensitive heart out. Yet just hearing about how tough the dragon was, seemed to wash away any sadness, and like before he took hold of the dragons hand that his was resting on and nuzzled his cheek into it, "I know exactlly what you mean... he did save my life afterall."

Tessa smiled warmly. "The tea has some magickal herbs in it grown here on the Kingdome. Also regular Valerian and Kava. I figured your muscles could use some relaxation."

Xadrien on the other hand hated tea. He liked strong drinks like black coffee...and guinness.

Silently another body entered the kitchen. His face was so similar to Xadrien's, yet softer. His hair was up to his chin in the front but cut shorter in the back. He wore earrings and his wrists took alot of bracelets and rings. His sense of style was phenomenal. A tight forrest green shirt complimented his slender body, also he wore a pair of regular black jeans and a black and silver belt. Black and Silver seemed to be the trend, as it was the crest colors of the black dragons of their sept. Tessa found it ironic because they all loved gold.

Tessa kissed her fourth child on the cheek. "Hey baby." Adrian didn't speak. He took note of what was going on and pursed his lips. He'd only heard a brief bit of the conversation at hand and refrained from rubbing it in Xaid's face that he was right all along. It surprised him though, he was sure Xaid was actually straight. Xaid gave him an evil glare, blatantly telling Adrian to shut his fucking mouth. Yet his touch on Andol remained gentle despite the malice he was expressing towards his brother.

"Well, that's true Andol. But do you really want to sacrifice your life when Xadrien died to protect you? The reason why the mistress or the master survives is out of complete respect for the dragon that protected them. Besides, if he does die you have a chance to revive him. It takes some time to put together the magick though. In death the connection to him won't be severed. He's yours and yours only."

Adrian choked on his own coffee at those words. Xaid belonged to a guy! This was too fucking good. Oh god damn, all the times Xaid had ripped on him for being gay...it was totally not going to be left alone. Adrian was going to get his revenge verbally. Not that he would harm him though, he loved his oldest brother. Besides, when Linden got ahold of this information it was going to be a complete family brawl.

He smiled soft in Tess, direction "Well thank you for it. I really appreciate it." It did not take long though before he looked out of the cronor of his eye and noticed that there was another person moving into the room with them. His eyes got a little wide and after just a few seconds of looking though one thing became obvious to Andol. This guy was as stright as a circle. He examined the other male for a moment and took note of the others sense of style to the point where he just wanted to say, 'Oh I love your clothes. Where did you get them? I will have to get me some.' He figured that this was one of Xaid's brother's. Yet for a moment Andol glanaced over his shoulder, just so that he could see the reaction to the arrival of this sibling. He knew that info would be useful when dealing with them later. The malice that he saw on Xaid's face quickly made him turn back around, though when he thought about it for a moment. He figured that it just must be one of those brotherly things. What it was, he was not sure. Andol felt no hatred bettewen these two.

Though the question that was posed to him, did throw him off a bit. Becuase it gave him information that he did not have beforehand. Had he known that he could revive Xaid, if the larger male died, then he would not have made that comment. Plus there was the fact that the bond would be there forever, was also another factor that made the young man quickly recant his statment, "I guess you are right. I wouldn't want that, but I did not know that I could possiably bring him back if somthing happen." It was apparent that Andol would go to the ends of the earth to try and make such a thing happen if need be.

Andol still had not removed one eye form looking towards the new dragon. Plus it soon became obvious to him, that the other male was just finding out about Xaid being bonded to him. Which if Andol had judged the situation to be right, was probably very funny to the other dragon. He was only guessing and was not sure, for all he knew it could be some joke that went bettewen the two that he could not understand. Ethier that or he was looking at his own thoughts in the wrong way. He spoke in the direction of the newcomer, "So what is your name?"

Adrian turned his attention to the man his brother had just met and he offered a warm smile as he sad beside him. He took from Xaid's plate of cookies which extracted and even more irritated look from the larger male. Tessa shot Xadrien a glance that strictly told him to be nice.

"My name is Adrian. I hear yours is Andol. Its a pleasure to meet you, but I see you've got the unfortunate privelage of being bonded to my oldest brother." he joked, shooting Xaid a look. Xadrien didn't take jokes well. He tensed up behind Andol, a soft growl emerging. Once again his mother shot him a look that told him to be nice.

But Tessa smiled. Andol's personality would fit in with some of the black brothers. It made her sort of regret inviting Linden to dinner, but it wouldn't be fair.

The subtle botherly feud that was playing out right her before him, was really cute in Andol's opition. He could tell that this was simple the two joking around. Andol had never had a brother when he grew up, but instead of that he had had three sisters. So that could point to where his somtimes femnine tendancies had come form. Especially sinice Andol had been the youngest one. He knew now that Xain was the exact oppisate, and had been the first and not the last. Andol still wondered if it had been his younger age that had saved him. He was off enjoying himself when there home was attacked and his family killed. He could aslo chalk that one up to his natural curiousity.

He looked at the other male for and could only smile. He hoped that all of Xain's siblings where this nice, becuase if they where. Then this would be a wonderful dinner. This was one of those moments when Andol did not want to think negitive, so he did not he try to consider the possiably that one of the brothers could very well be. A complete and utter asshole.

As soft smirk crossed the young man's face for a moment and the words that he said where, "I wouldn't have it any other way Adrian. I would not have it any other way." His lithe fingers gently stroked over Xaid's hand if it was still there. If not, then Andol just gave the larger dragon a simple smile.

Once again Xadrien released all of the anger he was harboring at his master's touched. A low growl escaped his chest, but this time it was more of a vibration of happiness.

Adrian laughed seeing that reaction being extracted to easily from his brother. He bit his lip and patted Andol on the bicep. Xaid frowned, protectively. Even if it was his brother he didn't want anybody touching Andol. "That is awesome to hear." Adrian said ignoring Xaid. He was absolutely ridiculous sometimes. The smaller dragon got up and began helping his mother finish up some of the preparations. "You should come to practice. Xaid trains us every morning, bright and early in the art of Draconic military tactics."

Tessa beamed. "Ooh! Adrian, you can teach him how to open the psychic connection."

Adrian nodded, trying to hide the real pain behind his mother's words. He didn't have a master of his own anymore and it was beginning to bother him slightly. It felt slightly guilty to be opening a connection when he couldn't even keep his own. "Of course. I can tell we're going to get along just fine."

Something Tessa wasn't expecting to happen so soon, indeed happened. The worst thing about it was, it was a silent killer. Linden walked in the room, his chest broad and bare. Obviously he had just come from a training session. He was just as large as Xadrien, if not slightly larger, and was downing a large bottle of water. His black hair was tied back tightly in a pony tail, black eyes and disposition cold. He didn't greet his family members when he walked in, just took a seat. Cold eyes darted over to Xadrien's display of affection with the unknown male. "And who is this joining us for dinner?"

"None of your fucking business." Xadrien bit, his own gaze darting to Linden in a challenging manner.

Linden quirked a brow, looking quite ready to take Xaid on in a fight. "Everything is my fucking business, what is this your master?"A small grin began to play on his devilishly handsome lips. Oh the things he could do.

"His name is Andol, Linden. Be nice." Tessa said. It was a hopeless case. Linden did whatever he wanted without heeding warning.

Adrian looked towards Andol, looking a little worried. Sure, he got along with Linden but that didn't mean he was any less scared for the two of them. Linden would do whatever it took to rise to power.
